Hi all,
I am in implementation project hear our team implement all the modules mm,sd,pp and fi we complete implementation of mm,sd,and pp reports in FI client wants to activate standard cubes in bw
because they are failed in r3 fi implementation can any body tell me standard cube for FI module in bw
so that we complete our work as soon as possible .

There is a standard cube for 0SEM_BCS_10?
Hi guys. I`m willng to use 0SEM_BCS_10 to get data fo preparation to consolidation. But I didn't find a standard infocube to get these data that cames from 0SEM_BCS_10..it will be a "staging" cube where the BCS cube (0BCS_C10) will get data by data stream ...do anyone know if there is this standard cube or I will have to create a Z?

There is no standard cube for this datasource. You have to create a Z-cube. And please use more searching in the forum. I answered such a question a couple of times before. -
How to find datasource and standard cube for given R/3 table
Hi All,
Can anyone help me that how to find a datsource, standard cube and Standard BI reports for given R/3 table.
For example if am having the table names "EKKO (Header)
EKPO (Line item)
EKET (Schedule Lines)
EKBE (PO History)
EKKN (Account Assignment/WBS)
EKAN/EKPA (Partner Info)" for all these tables how can i find the standard datasource and standard Cube.

You can check out under business content for public services , but also it would be helpful for us if you could indicate the nature of public services and also keep in mind the requirements that you have and the business content might not meet your requirement.

Creation of DSO for a standard cube
Hi All,
I am new in BI modeling area & looking for help from you experts. What I have to do is , I need to create a DSO for a standard Cube 0PS_CS01.
In this I am doing is to take that data source which is in BI content for this Cube and from there I am extracting data fields and keyfields. Once this DSO is ready I will create update rules from this standard Data source to this newly created to DSO and after that I will create Update rules for Cube based on this DSO.
Can you guys help me to find the best way to collect keyfields & data fields based on the data source. Also suggest me if it is the right way to design data model fot the same as I desribed above.
All helpful replies will be appriciated with points.

DSO only take 16 key fields so rest will go under data fields.most unique 16 fields will go under key fields.
2.all the keyfigues will go under data fields of DSO.
change settings and activate DSO.create transformations between (DSO and DS) and ( DSO and CUBE);

if you need further info just check these two 0FIAP_C03(cube) and 0FIAP_O03(DSO).compare the characteristics and key figure with the key fields and data fields respectively.you will get good idea.
in the above cube the data flow is like DS-DSO-CUBE -

Just go to RSORBCT transaction and go to infocubes :
Just do find as 0SD .... you will find all Business contents for SD related, similarly for other modules..
If you have chosen grouping as "Before and After wards" you should find the entire flow along with reports.

Error while transporting standard cube

We are facing errors while transporting a standard cube and all relevant objects.
While collection it throws errors saying certain routines are not active, whilst unable to find those routines.
If we ignore and transport the same, transformations es are not being transported.
How to resolve this., please provide inputs.

The error log says these objects are in repair mode in this system. I searched the system for the trnsformations, but they are not present. How do we resolve these
This only means that the objects were changed directly in the target system (could be QA or prod) and are captured in some request. You need to find the relevant request on the target system and take the appropriate action. You could chose to delete the request or transport it from QA to Prod.
Find the requests on the target system and you will see the tranaformations collected. However, it is not going to be an easy taskl for you to find as the TR will be with the technical name. But this is definitely the reason for the error.

PP - Cube for Actual Capacity Utilization (in hours per confirmation)
Hi,
I need to extract the exact operation confirmation times for PP orders from ECC6. For example, if a single order started at 11:00am and then was confirmed twice before being finished in the evening, the client wants to see the actual times used for each operaiton. This way they want to subtract from 24 hours and see the idle time of the production operation.
For this purpose I have checked all the cubes under 'Production/process orders' infoarea. The cube '0PP_C03 Plan/Actual Comparison Operation/Work Center View' seems to have the operation time but in days. This is first of all causing a rounding off problem and secondly it does not show the time gaps between confirmations on the same operation.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Method 1 :
1- Create a one Multi provider .
2- Copy the standard cube 0PP_C03 and make your own Cube with necessary fields ( enhance it as per your requirement ).
This New Cube should be Virtual Cube .
3- Create a Report on Mutiprovider ( which you created in step1 )
4-select the relevant char and key figure as per requirement .
5- you can use the selection and formula in report for time difference ..
In this method restrict the query on virtual cube only .
Method 2 :
From R/3 you have record like this :
Operation 1( O1) ---> 11:00 :00
Operation 1( O1) --> 14:00:00
Operation 2( O2) --> 10:30:00
Operation 2( O2) --> 13:30:00
1- Create a one Key figure with Data Type TIMS .
2- Include this key figure in the Cube which you have created in above steps ( Method1 )
3-Write a routine to fillt he data for Keyfigure ..if O1 record find calculate time difference .
4-Now you have time difference in BW for operation
5-Add new keyfigure in MP and use in Report .

Opening standard cubes in SAP BW

I'm new at SAP BW and I'm trying to start the load of a standard cube (the example is 0OPA_C02).
I've added the infopackage with datasource (0CO_OM_OPA_4) but in fact I don't know if this is correct and according with best practices.
Also, I believe is necessary to create a DTP but When I try to create it creates automatically a new transformation and doesn't use the standard one.
What am I doing wrong?
RegardsActually you are facing the DTP problem just because one transformation is missing (TRCS) which I mentioned before. First of all let me know when you installed the cube which option did you choose "Data Flow before or Only Necessary Objects"? Coz when you are creating the transformations by your own, it means you havn't installed the update rules or (in 7.x architecture) Transformations. Also when you cannot find the transformation TRCS it is most probably your data source is 3.x and you are trying to implement 7.x data flow on it. To verify that kindly right click on your datasource and check if you can see the Migrate option in context menu. If it is there then it means your data source is for 3.x data flow and you need to migrate it first for using with 7.x dataflow. If you don't see the option MIGRATE there and if you dont wanna go for strandard installation of update rules or transformation thn just right click on the desired cube and choose create transformation from the context menu. It will create the transformation (which name would be starting from TRCS) and after that when you will create the DTP, you will face no error. Second way is to install the update rules or transformations from BI content of the desired cube and then create the DTP. What I recommend is first you check if the data source is 3.x or 7.x and after that go to BI content and install the update rules/transformations according to its data flow version. In case of any query/confusion let me know.

has someone experiences with Class-A KPIs Reporting in SAP based on the concept of Oliver Wright?
In his handbook he wrote that this concept reflects the effort and effort and achievement of thousands of client companies who have used our checklist standard to differentiate their business. So its supposed that SAP Standard might also support that concept in general by providing eventually standard cube if this trendy in U.S.
Does SAP support that concept or do you know who is there an third party software available to read this KPI out of SAP/APO in a structured way

Thanks for your support, MarkusIn my experience, you just have to learn to read the code. The SAP books may tell you something but they are not at the level that you'd really need them to be if you wanted to know where best to put your enhancement.
It is certainly worthwhile checking all the documentation in the classes/methods there can be some useful things there. However, generally I think you are just better off reading through the code and working out how it all hangs together. Most WDA code is reasonably well written - in that it is fairly modular and has a reasonable degree of encapsulation. This certainly helps.
This is where experience really starts to matter!
NW7.02 will give us some nice UML diagrams to help understand the application flow - that will help, but until then, it's just a matter of being good at understanding code.

No applicable data found.. Erro in standard cubes.
Hi,
I am getting an error during the utilization of standard cubes in BI 7.01.
After the data load is complete, when i tried to execute the standard cube "Warehouse Workload History - Deliveres" , or
any other standard cubes, NO DATA CAN BE FOUND.
When using Bex Query Designer on Web, the message is : NO DATA CAN BE DISPLAYED. This could be due the current selection of variable or filter values.
When using Analizer in excel, the message is : NO APPLICABLE DATA FOUND
But if we create the same query from beginning, not using the standard cube, with the same fields and indexes and records,
the values are displayed.
We also try to save as the same standard report with another name and doesn`t work.
My system is SAP EHP1 for SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 in SO Linux and Oracle Database.
SAP_ABA , SAP_BASIS, PI_BASIS, SAP_BW is 701 level 07.
BI_CONT is 705 level 01.
please any advicesCheck whether the standard report is created on the Info-provider on which the data is loaded .You can see the same in the query properties next to the check query button in query designer as you are able to see data , by creating another query on the inforprovider .
