BW Basic Knowledge needed

Hello to all,
Can anyone in here give me the SAP Basic BW knowledge that I need to know to start supporting the said system?
In terms of issues encountered, I think for me is important to have knowledge is comparing data from R/3 and BW, how are data extracted, the jobs involved, the Info Packages needed, how do I track all these with BW Basic Knowledge?
Also, I need to check for results of BEx query Analyzer. Are these consistent with what is in R/3, what are the skills needed to support applications in BW for BEX.
Also, any suggestion on where do I need to start? Thanks.

Although C is the default language of Unix, Swift does not require that you know C in order to learn or program in Swift. But knowing a programming language is a helpful step in learning a new programming language.
If you read the manual's first couple of chapters you will see what the goal of designing the Swift language was. In the manual they even suggest you can learn Swift without knowing C. They have removed the indirection of the C reliance on pointers and other arcane methods in order to make Swift easier and quicker to learn.
If you have no programming experience then I would suggest you might start with BASIC or Pascal. When you are comfortable with programming then you can take on Swift.

BW Knowledge Needs

I said you need to get all the documents from the project team who built the system.
How? - to take a look at data flows
Right click the cube and you will get the flow.
- to go through the reports
Open the queries in display mode
- to go through the load schedule and frequency of the loads.
open the process chain in RSPC.

Photoshop/ Illustrator Knowledge needed to use After Effects?

I have Adobe CS5 Master Collection.
I have a strong interest in learning how to use After Effects and also at a later time Final Cut Pro/ Avid Media Composer and Maya.
I have a recently taken to working on my own independent films and would love to be able to reproduce the kind of effects you see in shows many of today’s scifi or fantasy TV shows.
I intend on going through the tutorials on lynda.com and video copilot (http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/).
I would like to be able to reproduce most of the effects displayed in video copilots tutorials.
To do so though, will i need a good working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator?? I have a very very basic knowledge of both programs at the moment.

Basic transitions need to be rendered

I just installed the uprage to FCP 6 and the some of the basic transitions need to be rendered before I can view them. I never had this problem before upgrading, so am assuming it is a setting that I am missing.
A couple would play (some dissolves, all iris & a few more) and they come up with a grey line above it -- but most of the basic ones (some slides, some dissolves, stretch) come up with a red line and require rendering.
I figure it must be a setting that I missed but can't find it in the manual or searching this forum.
Any help would be wonderful.

FCP gave me the message that the clips were a different format than the sequence so I fixed that. Turns out it was the safe RT - now I remember having to do that the first time I installed the program. Feel kinda silly for forgetting something so basic.

I have not worked on any scenario between JD Edwards and XI, but SAP has a list of adapters provided by iWay software, one of which is used to connect to JDE One World XE. The good thing about this adapter is that, you do not require a separate runtime.
You can get more info about the adapter from SAP Market place under,
SAP Exchange Infrastructure --> SAP XI in Detail --> Connectivity --> Connectivity SAP XI 3.0 --> iWay.

What you want to know is a vast subject and it will be better to sit with any SD consultant and know all you want. I can do that if you are in Hyderabad.
To briefly tell you what you wanted is:
A Sales Organization is the highest organizational element in any Sales Department of a Company and it is responsible for all the sales activity of that company.
A Sold-to-Party (SP) is non other than your basic Customer. We call him so because he may have a different place where sometimes we have to give deliveries and that place / department will be called as a Ship to Party (SH) of our SP. Like wise if you have a different place to send the Invoice of that SP, then that department will be known as the Bill to Party (BP) for this SP. And if some body other than our SP is paying, then he will be our Payer (PY).
Now to make a Sales Order, go to T Code - VA01, enter, enter your Sales Document Type and your Sales Organization, Distribution Channel, your Division and hit enter, now enter your SP no., and your customer's PO no., and the Material(s) and their respective quantities and if all the basic customization has been done correctly, you will get the Price, Plant, Storage Location, etc., and you can save it.
Then you do your Delivery and finally the Billing depending on your client's buiseness process.

I need to uninstall then re-install Vista Home Basic and need to know if I must back up all my bookmarks to a disk first.

I have had on-going problems with communication between my Lexmark X3650 printer/scanner/copier and my Dell Vostro PC. Dell has instructed me to uninstall then re-install Vista Home Basic to my PC. I need to know if I will lose my Firefox bookmarks when I do this (I am waiting for them to send me the Vista disk before I can re-install). Will my bookmarks be saved on Firefox? Will I have to re-load my Firefox browser? I am certainly no computer whiz buy I simply cannot afford to lose all these links (collegiate workbooks and course-work submission links etc.). HELP!

You can backup the bookmarks in the Bookmarks Manager.
You can export the bookmarks in Firefox to an HTML file:
Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Export HTML
You can also create a JSON backup:
Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Backup
An HTML backup doesn't support tags and annotations, so if you want to preserve those then you need to use a JSON backup.<br />
Restoring a JSON backup will replace all existing bookmarks, so existing bookmarks are lost.<br />
Importing an HTML backup will merge the imported bookmarks with existing bookmarks, so you do not lose the bookmarks that you already have, but you may get duplicate bookmarks if some already exist.

It would be very difficult to put down everything you are required to do in a response, work through the attached note with guidance from the SAP Best Practice Building Blocks as specified.
