BW Browser 3.x crashing in Vista

Hi all,
We're rolling the latest SAPGUI/BW 3.x tools to users as we're rolling out Office07. We're having few machines crashing with the following error. Please help!
Faulting application wdbbapp.exe, version 3571.4.0.54, time stamp 0x48ec7cd9, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6001.18000, time stamp 0x4791a783, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0005b61f, process id 0x6a4, application start time 0x01c9b6d286f3e7f1.
It seems it's something with ntdll.dll, anyone had this before?

Hi,
Try to uninstall and reinstall bex. There is a OSS note for this issue. Please check that note.

Hi,
i own a Toshiba l755d since a month. Everything works fine except firefox,chrome and opera.
IE8 works. t first i thought it was just firefox because i just tested firefox.
SO i wrote a thread in my own language forum for firefox. nobody was able to help me with that problem of crashes. Then i was like test some others browsers which finally doesn't work too.
So finally after updating everything and no change in anything i decided to reinstall windows so atm there is nothing on my harddrive except windows 7 home premium(64bit), the drivers,recently updatet java,flashplayer,firefox,opera and chrome.
Short:
-every browser except IE8 crashes after a few minutes
-firefox forum couldn't help me
-the laptop is new
-everything is updatet to the recent version
Any ideas?

I did the recovery (set to delivered status) several times.
opera crashes too fast, chrome doesn't show anything and firefox shoes this

i can choose between -> continue and stop. :D actually this doens't make any difference but ok. At
the firefox forum they said this useually is caused by plugins. SO i deactivated and deinstalled everything and started firefox in safemode. still no change.
i heard this COULD be caused by java script errors.

Firfox is ceashing when I attepmt to download a file. Everything works until I close Firfox and then attempt to re-open the browser then it crashes. I tried deleting the download file in my profile folder but it didn't work.

Downgrade to an older nightly that works for a week or so, then test again to see if the bug's still there. In the mean time, report the bug on Bugzilla if it hasn't already been. There's really nothing you can do about bugs in nightlies.
(A similar sort of bug that triggered 60 seconds after opening, every time, was what got me out of using nightlies as my main browser.)

How to handle browser or application crash out of our application in java.

I am running my application(testing automation tool) through ANT . when i run the same over the remote the browser is getting crashed. so if i need to handle it , i should handle outside my application. my application is written only in pure core java. Plz provide me the solution for handling browser crashes outside our application. so that when i run my application over the remote the browser should not crash.... if i use javascript to handle , how do i communicate java script code with pure core java code......

this is not directly a security related question, but jars within jars won't be found by the JRE; they won't appear in the classpath.

Photo Mail crashing under Vista

Has anyone else run into a problem with Element 6's Photo Mail crashing using Vista? I select the recipient and open the Choose Stationary page and the Windoes error screen "Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 (Organizer) has stopped working" pops up and closes the program. Any suggestions?

Premiere Element keep crashing in vista

is there a way to avoid Premiere element keep crashing on Vista Home edition?
My project has about 700 video clips and I am adding about 150 clips in the timeline and adding some transitions. I don't think I am doing some crazy editiing. However, it just keep crashing and close the application. does anyone know how to avoid it or any work around?
Right now i have to save my project every 5 minutes to save my work, this is like going back to 70's.

And make sure you have Vista SP1 and at least 2 gigs of RAM and that you've optimized the operating system so that you're not wasting resources.

AIR applications all crash on Vista

I've tried a few applications on my Vista computer. So far,
not a single one runs long enough to allow me to do a single
action. In other words, some just crash on startup and some will
sit there and do okay until I touch the mouse or keyboard. Then
they crash.
On Vista 32 bit, AIR 1.5, downloaded today.
I had previously tried AIR with the same results a few months
ago.

Just curious: Safari and Chrome (webkit based browsers like
AIR's built in browser) have in the past had significant crash
issues related to language / regional settings and keyboard input.
Just a shot in the dark, but since other webkit browsers on
windows have experienced this it's possible AIR inherited the
issue. Is your system locale english or another?
You also might want to try a complete uninstall of the air
runtime (including cleaning up the bits and pieces that AIR leaves
behind) and reinstalling it. I have fixed a pc that had a corrupt
install this way successfully.

Dreamweaver Crashing under Vista

I’ve been frustrated by Dreamweaver 8 crashing on
opening under Windows Vista....Yes I know it wasn’t designed
from Vista but never-the-less that’s what I’m using.

ITunes 8.2 crashing on Vista?

I installed iTunes 8.2 a couple of days ago, and it crashed on first startup while it was updating the library (or whatever it was doing: I forget exactly what). I started it again, and it seemed to run ok.
Just now I decided to back up the entire library, but it crashes again, right at the end of the "Checking Backup Items" phase. Error message (from Vista) is at the bottom of this post.
I'd try uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes to see if that would help, but I'm hesitant to do so in case I lose the entire library. Is it safe to do so?
Otherwise, any suggestions?

Yes, you're quite right, one of my videos was the cause of the problem (and, since I'm well aware what Quicktime does, I should have thought of that myself!).
It wasn't that hard to find the culprit, actually. I found that I got the crash even if I just tried to copy the file from iTunes into a new folder (using right-click -> copy). A simple binary search found the offender in short order.
I'd be happy to forward the file to Apple, although it's slightly over 300M in size. If that's ok, let me know how to go about it.
It's possible, of course, that the file may be corrupted, although it seems to play ok using mplayer under Linux (if that helps any).

PC Suite 6.84, Restore crash under Vista x64 Ultim...

Hello, there. I have PC Suite 6.84 and, of course contents copier V4.0 on Vista Ultimate x64. Backup went very well with both N73ME or 6267. However, on Restore part, when go to part that ask us which Backup you want to restore, it crashs and Windows has to close program.
PS. Not a problem with WinXP. All with USB connection.
What should I do? Any suggestion??

Multiple Browser Based Review Crashing - Acrobat 8.1.2 / Acrobat 9.0.0

In Acrobat Professional v8.1.2 and v9.0.0, if two browser-based review windows are open and the Comments & Markup toolbar is embedded in both windows, when a comment is applied in one of the windows the Send/Receive button flickers and Acrobat crashes. This worked fine in v8.0.0.

Acrobat 9.1 "thunking spooler" crash on Vista 64

I get the dreaded "32-bit thunking spooler" crash on certain MSWord 2003 documents on Vista Home Premium 64. After much experimentation, I have determined that this crash happens when the MS Word "normal" style is set to a font that is listed as a printer (PS) font rather than an OpenType font. Note that the printer font I'm trying to use is an Adobe font, so this isn't a third-party font compatibility problem. If I look at the log report under the Vista control panel it says the fault is in the pscript5.dll file. The version of the pscript5.dll file I have is dated 1/20/2008 and is in the C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3 directory.
As a temporary workaround, I simply don't use the normal style. Instead I start everything off as "body text". But if I had a large library of existing documents this would be a killer. If anyone has more information on this, including which version of the pscript5.dll is compatible with Acrobat (and where to get it), please let me know.

Photoshop CS4 crashing on Vista 64-bit

It includes Disallow OpenGL Windows and Allow Old GPUS script files that are are also uninstallable.
On my machine at work (Windows XP Professional)
Allow Old GPUS did not work
Disallow OpenGL Windows got PS to work without crashing, but limits the features
On my machine at home(Windows Vista 64bit)
Allow Old GPUS did not work
Disallow OpenGL Windows did not work
My PS CS4 crashes on my Vista 64bit machine after start up and I don't think I should have to go buy the CS3 version....that is not right.

First, disable all plugins and see if Photoshop will launch (that will rule out a lot of issues).
Second, remove all your non-system fonts and see if Photoshop will launch (that will rule out corrupt fonts).
There is a known bug in Photoshop 64 bit dealing with some corrupt fonts (our recovery code wasn't 64 bit safe).
