Case Studies for EJB Use

I am in the process of recommending J2EE/Weblogic as an architecture to a client,
but they have pushed back in wanting to know of successful deployments, and specifically
about the success of companies using EJB's instead of a simple Servlet approach.
Does anyone out there know of some good resources for case studies of companies deploying
J2EE/EJB's?

The question is: How complex and how transactional is the application? A
simple or a non-transactional application should probably be build without
EJBs.
In an enterprise where you have many apps built from shared components, EJBs
make sense too.

Case studies for AD integration

does anyone know of some articles or press releases about firms incorporating OSX into their windows environment, including binding the systems to the active directory?
i am trying to round up some information to present to company partners about the topic in hopes they will move in the Mac direction. there is support for the idea, they just want to see that it can be done easily and reliably.

Sorry for the late response on this. I found your post while looking for something somewhat related. If you contact Apple, they'll be more than happy to provide you with information about integrating Mac environments into AD environments. I can personally give you over a dozen examples where I was hired to work with Apple and the firm's AD department to prep AD for integration and roll out OD. Every company's IT department will want to do it a different way based on many variables, but in the end, the company will save a TON of money/resources/hair.

Looking for Case studies on SAP's Adaptive Computing Controller for Windows

implemented SAP's Adaptive computing controller on Windows Platform.

I am also keen to see some documents. I guess SAP generally remains neutral about the platform and database as choice will be different for each bussiness.

Case recommendations for iPHONE

Is there a thread with suggestions for best cases? if not, what are you iPhoners loving?

I have both iphones and the biggest problem I had with the older one and now the new one is the cases. There are too many bulky cases that defeat the purpose of having a smart phone. The best hard case I found after buying seven of them is the Agent18 Shield. I have had it for all my ipods and have yet to get a scratch on my phone or ipod when dropped. The best part is it does not fall apart when you do drop it like many other bulky cases. The bad part about the Agent18 Shield is that there is no clip or holster for it to snap into it. You will have to carry it in your pocket. It is pretty slim though and less bulkier.

let me introduce myself, I am the program manager responsible for GDS within SAP.
Could you give me a detailed example of what you refering to with regards to fundamental design changes?
We keep on evolving the solution to the changing market needs as well as, to required changes in the GS1 standard and updates from data pools but I fail to see fundamental changes.
In addition I would like to remark that "automating the GDS functionality" as you stated most likely will include modifying the solution in several areas. These specific changes could be lost during updates, yes, though I would say, then not the product is to be blamed.
