BW for SAP TM - question regarding Tables
Hello gurus!
I hope u are fine.
I have some doubts about how I can see, check a table into SAP TM, because SAP TM use NWBC and I dont know how I will be able to identify which table/field use the user, in order to extract the data to BW for creating reports.
Some body could helpme, please?

Tables with transactional data: /SCMTMS/D_TRQROT /SCMTMS/D_TORROT /SCMTMS/D_TORITE /SCMTMS/D_TOREXE /SCMTMS/D_TORSTP /SCMTMS/D_PLNXSR /SCMTMS/D_PLNXOS /SCMTMS/D_TRQITM /SCMTMS/D_TORSTP /SCMTMS/D_TORSTS
Setup tabellen: TRQ_ITM_SETUP TRQ_SETUP TOR_ITM_SETUP TOR_SETUP
With transaction /BOBF/TEST_UI you can request your Business objects like Forwardingorders en Freightorders in the back-end. Here you can also trace the ABAP fieldname. In table DD03L you can check in which tables the field is used.

Creating SAP QUERY - question about tables in buisness transactions.

I want to create a query, as i so far have successfully done by creating a join in transaction SQVI.
I am useing several tables;
CRMD_ORDERADM_H
CRMD_ORDERADM_I
CRMD_ORDER_INDEX
I have two questions.
1: I try to join CRMD_ORDER_INDEX-PARTNER_NO with BUT000-PARTNER, but it won't do the trick. After a join like this i would like to join BUT000 with ADRC . Can someone explain how i could do this?
2: I want join CRMD_ORDERADM_I with all the partners for the specific Item. (sold-to-party, shipping-party and so on). Can anyone tell me which table(s) i can find this in, and what fields to join.

For the second question, enter your transaction number ( Object ID ) into <b>CRMD_ORDERADM_H</b> table. Pass the guid to table <b>CRMD_LINK.</b>
Take set guid from CRMD_LINK and pass it to <b>CRMD_PARTNER</b>.
You will get all the partners in that transaction

Word 2011 for Mac: Advanced question regarding the navigation pane--aka sidebar
Hi everyone--
I'm a new Mac owner, with a Macbook Pro 13" 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5, with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage. I'm operating on the latest OS (Maverick), freshly purchased from the Apple store today (July 5, 2014).
Can you help me figure out if there is some way, in Word 2011 for Mac, to use the navigation pane (aka Sidebar) to click and drag entire sections of the document to a new location? This was basic (advanced, but fundamental) functionality in every version of Word I've used in recent years on Windows machines, and it is the critical reason I purchased Word instead of using one of a dozen free options. My job involves managing and editing large documents--from 2500 to 90,000 words--and the navigation pane/sidebar is crucial to my sanity.
Previously, I would open the navigation pane and it would show me the structure of my document based on the Heading types. I could click on a heading (say, a chapter title), inside the navigation pane, and drag it to a new location elsewhere in the document. So simple to rearrange the structure of large documents this way. Now, in the Word 2011 for Mac, I can call up the navigation pane (now called the "sidebar") and view the structure of the doc, but I can't actually click and drag anything in the navigation pane.
Other than this, so far my switch to Mac has gone swimmingly. I love the machine, and am amazed at how much cleaner and easier it is to set up than Windows machines. I'm so frustrated that I even have to interface with Microsoft any more, but this one piece of functionality is critical to me.

I don't know the specific answer to your question.
But as a new Mac owner, you should make sure that you are using the very latest version of Word 2011 for Mac.
My recommendation, if you haven't already done this, is to open Word and do Help > Check for Updates from Word's menu, and install any updates Microsoft has released.
They typically issue updates once or twice a month.

Rapid Mart for SAP - Sales / List of source tables
Hi,
a customer would like to have a list of the source tables that are read by
the Rapid Mart for SAP - sales (SA).
Has anybody such a list. I can only find information about the target tables.

MartinBefore I say this, if a customer wants to know the sourcing, that is intellectual property. If they own the Rapid Mart, then they have rights to the sourcing information. I never just give this information away since it's proprietary, and can be used without a software purchase to assist a prospect.
One approach I use is to install the Rapid Mart into an empty repository, then you can open the source SAP DataStore, and that will be all the source tables references. This will give you the comprehensive list, but as Werner suggested, you need to open each DataFlow and determine it's source table(s) and lookup table(s) to refine your search.

if yes, then load the table to SAP BW and make a model for it
and from BW, you can use the integration KIT to build a universe based on a Query on top of this model
if not, you can load the table using any data integration tool to another database, and u can build a universe over this database
and one more option, that you can build a virtual datawarehouse on top of that SAP table using Data Federator
and build your universe on top of your vritual datawarehouse.

BIG Question regarding INIT Loads..I am scratching my head for past 2 days
Hello All,
I have one big question regarding the INIT load. Let me explain you my question with an example:
I have a datasource say 2LIS_02_ITM for which I ran the setup tables on JAN 2008. The setup table is filled with say 10,000 records. After that we are running Delta loads everyday till today (almost 30,000 records). Everything is going fine.
Imagine I lost a delta (delta failed and did'nt I do a repeat delta for 3 days, by then next delta came), Hence I am planning to do a Init load again without deleting / filling the setup tables. Now my question is :
1) Will I get the 10,000 records which got filled initially in the setup tables or will I get 40,000 records (that 10,000 + 30,000 records)
2) If it bring 40,000 how is that possible as I hav'nt filled the setup tables?
3) Is it each time I need to fill the setup tables to start the Init load.

But...agin I will suggest not to go by that method. Only one delta had failed so why do you want to wipe away the timestamp of the last init just becasue of 1 delta failure? it is possible to correct it
First of all i hope you have stopped the process chain or put a hold to Delta jobs
Now, To answer your doubt, about the status red ..See you mark the status red in each of the the data target before delting the failed request from there (I usually do not just delete the requests frm data targets - I mark them red and then delte it to be safe).
Do not forget to delete subsequent requests afterthe failed delta (agin I always mark them red before doing so)
Regarding the actual reuest itself...you need not mark it red in the monitor..You have got to correct this request and successful - it will automatically turn green.
If after successfully correcting the request, it still does not turn green, you can set qm status green. The next delta will recognize this a successful request and bring in the next delta (this happens in cases where you have the infopackage in a process chian when it shows green because subsequent processes were not completed etc).

Deactivate table locks for SAP courses
Hello,
when visiting SAP courses in Walldorf, I observed that it was possible that all participants where able to maintain the same customizing table without getting informed that the table is locked.
How can this behaviour be achived? Usually only one user is able to maintain a table at a time, however, especially for SAP courses it would be great to deactivate this.
Any ideas?

I found this page http://****************/Tutorials/ABAP/Lock/Page1.htm where they explain how to create a special report that will call the customizing view for a specific table in a different mode.
The report will delete the general table lock and create row-based locks (based on key fields) instead, allowing at least several users to work with the same table - as long as they edit entries that have different key fields.
I haven't tried it yet, but it looks promising...

I have a few general questions regarding the differences between EWM and WM:
1) What are the benefits of EWM-MFS compared to WM + TRM (especially in terms of SPS)?
2) The Quality Inspection Engine (QIE) can also be used by SAP WM, right?
3) There is RFID-support in EWM, so EWM is able to communicate directly with SAP Auto-ID, right?
But I have heard that SAP PI is necessary in some cases, when and why?
4) Is there something new in EWM regarding goods receipt processing?
I have read that the splitting of inbound delivery items is possible in EWM in case of missing inbound delivery items. Is this really a new feature?
5) EWM can easily be connected to SAP BW for reporting purposes, what about WM?
6) What about scalability if the warehouse grows?
7) Is there any information about the costs of using EWM compared to WM and vice versa?

1. What does SAP offer as a product for dWM? Is it a u201Cspecialu201D installation of the SAP framework dedicated to WM or is it a standard ECC box where only the WM module is used?
There are two version of DWM. One is Decentralized WM as a part of ECC and another one is EWM as a part of SCM. Both are decentralized.
2. My understanding is that the interfaces between ERP and dWM can support some non-real time operations (like when the main ERP system is down, the dWM can still perform some operations). Considering that the transactional interfaces are based on BAPIs, how does SAP achieve this interfacing in non-real time environments? I am thinking you can complete the different processing unless both systems are up
When it comes to interfaces, DWM needs Deliveries from ERP. That's it, WM can function from there independent of ERP system. But, WM defenitely needs to communicate back PGI and PGR and other posting changes . So, in case ERP is down, even though PGI / PGR is done at WM end, they may not be communicated back to ERP. But WM generates PGI/PGR IDOCs which can always be reprocessed at WM end to resend them to ERP so that Inventory levels are accurate.
