I need the right plug in for my online tech training course--it requires Macropedia Flash Player 8 and Internet Exploder 8 (but worked with my Safari ver 5.06). I updated my iMac software and Acrobat application software and now it won't show the study material nor animations.... I have MacOSX ver 10.5.8, 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 1 GB 667 MHz and Acrobat X. Powerpoint "insert online audio" Box empty

The "Insert Online Clip art" and "Insert online video" selections in PowerPoint 2013 now link to Bing Search. The "Insert online audio" selection box is now empty. Is this behavior temporary or permanent?

Based on my tested, with my environment, this issue might be related to some factors.
1. We might need to add website URL in the Trusted App Catalogs, then we could add these "Insert online audio" selection. Please see the below image.
2. Not installed all the update patches.

Online audio and video files are not working

i got a plugin for shockwave flash(adobe flash player) i thought it is the latest version so i downloaded it and installed it. Before installing the new flash player i was able hear song online and can watch videos but now both audio and videos are not working.

thanx for your advise but i got to hav one more problem and that is...i have downloaded the new version setup of firefox but after extracting it stops working and the installation process ends automatically...so please help.
the file that i downloaded had the "Firefox Setup Stub 23.0.1"

Online audio question

when i click on certain media players online i get no audio. im assuming that windows media (for once) is not the one acting up. those videos play fine. everything else has an issue one way or another with audio. video plays allright other than dead silence. what is happening here?

also it flash player seems to be the culprit. but ic ant install it for some reason.

Online audio problems

In the past couple of weeks, my Powerbook has developed a curious audio problem: while it will play audio fine from inserted CDs & DVDs, as well as QuickTime files, iTunes samples and downloads, as well as MIDIs, it has stopped playing any audio encountered online - RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, etc. I've tried reinstalling both RealPlayer and Windows Media Player, but to no avail. Any suggestions on how to fix this are most welcome!

I'd run Audio MIDI Setup (it's in Applications/Utilities) and check that Default and System outputs are set to 'built-in audio'.

How helpful is Online SAP training?

Is it better to go for classroom training or both online and classroom training hold equal importance.

Classroom training is way more informative, interactive and helpful if you are undergoing training at a beginner level.
If you have 1-2 yrs of experience in SAP either as a consultant or an end-user, then online training is not a bad option.
Take as many views before going in for any type of training.

Online Apple Training ACDT ACPT

*I apologize this is in the wrong sub-forum but I was unsure at where to post this.*
I purchased last year the online apple ACDT and ACPT

I think that is the product it was a few hundred dollars and I was unable to finish the training by the end of the year they give you. I am high school student so I am trying to finish it this summer. Is there anyway I can get anther year with out paying the full 300 dollars.
Also what was the URL to log into the training area? I have lost the paper that it was on.

Problems with Firefox 13. Can't see online audio file player. Video only works on some sites. All works OK in I.E. Updated Flash. No Change

Problems began when Firefox 13 automatically updated. tried downloading latest version of Flash 11.2.202.235. No change.
Video works sometimes on YouTube, not at all on most other sites.
Audio player not working at all. Either not even visible or downloads to real player versus playing within application such as Amazon.
Tried enabling/disabling Add ons to find culprit. No luck.
Everything as it should be in Internet Explorer.
On my WordPress site has MP3 audio files, and uses a flashplayer to display and play music files. With flash player on, nothing displays at all, (bank space where audio player would normally be displayed)
If I disable shock wave flash, a text link is displayed that downloads the MP3 in a new window (quick player), Also video doesn't work on any website. If I disable Flash and quicktime, text link to audio file downloads to realplayer.

hello msandman, there have been quite a few issues with adobe's latest flash update - can you try if flash content is showing up correctly again, when you disable the real-player components like mentioned in the following article: [[Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox]]?
otherwise you could also try to remove flash 11.3 from the windows control panel/programs section & [http://forums.adobe.com/thread/889580 downgrade to the 10.3 branch of the plugin], which is still receiving security updates.
