BW Process Chain - can it be started in the middle?

In BW 7.0 If a process chain fails, and you then fix the issue,,, or if you just want to start a process chain, at process type step # 9, and continue forward from there... Is that possible?

Yes you can start from where it failed.It depends on the process where the chain has failed.
Right click and see if you have option for repeat,
PC - Log -Failed Process -Right Click -Repeat(if system allows).

I don't know the difference between those. It's an animation with multiple layers+many frames. I want to start at about 2/3 of the way down the timeline, and I want it to be previewed, not just watched on the stage.

Run process chain on last three days of the month

Hello
I need to run process chain on last three days of the month. For example , It should run on 28, 29 and 30th dates of June.
There is no option to put a code in the start process of the process chain.
I can run it every day and put a code in the infopackage/DTP so that empty load (0 records) will be done on other days.
This doesnt sound as a good option.
Do u know any other options?

If you simply want to send the exact same message to everyone in your address book with emails ending in "@whatever.com", you can do the following:
Create an email with subject, message and attachments but no addresses
Open Address Book, All Contacts
Search in Address Book for @whatever.com
Select the results and drag them into the To: or Bcc: field of the email. If Bcc: then put your email address in the To: field.
Send the email
This will not personalize the emails (such as with "Dear firstname:" at the top of the message) but it will let you send an idential message to everyone who meets your criteria.

I am afraid that out of the box this is not possible. You will need some custom scripting to achieve this. You can create an anchor to the point from where you wish to begin and then simulate a click to that anchor via using some JavaScript on load.

Horizontal scroll thumb to start in the middle?

Hi,
To centre the thumb on a horizontal scoll bar, to get it to start in the middle, I would have thought you set the following:
- Max = 100
- Min = 0
- Value = 50
But for some reason my scroll bars are starting from the far left. And any changes I make seem to make no difference.
Anyone else have this trouble?
I've tried the following as well:
- Max = 1150 (no. of pixels width of my image that I am scolling)
- Min = 0
- Value = 550
Although the thumb moves to the middle of the track in the artboard, within FC, but when I run the project or export it ... the thumb is at the 0 value (the far left)
Am I doing something wrong?

Call list starts in the middle

I notice on my iPhone 4 that when I want to place a call from a previous call, the list always starts in the middle! I would have to either scroll up or touch the top to get to the most recent call. Did I miss a setting somewhere or is this a minor bug?

When I first got the phone, it used to show the top of the list. Does anyone know if this is a deliberate change in iOS, or whether it is a bug?
Mine always displays in the exact middle of the list (I can tell because I can see the scroll bar). I then always have to scroll back up the list manually to view the most recent calls at the top of the page, which seems counter-intuitive, considering the page is called "Recents". You'd expect it to immediately show the most recent.
I've seen other posts about this issue, so I know it's not an uncommon issue. The only successful solution I have read is to Reset All Settings, but I've looked at what that means. I will lose 2 years of honing my phone to suit the way I use it; the ordering of all the apps, the sounds, notification settings, everything.
I don't want to do that.
So unless there is a less globally impactful solution to this, I guess I can live with it. It's only mildly annoying, just not very Appley because it is not intuitive.

Starting in the middle of an animation won't play the audio

I was creating a frame-by-frame animation in Flash Pro CC that went with an audio file I added to the project, however when I start from the middle, or anywhere besides the start, the audio won't play, but the animation will. I chatted with a customer support guy and he directed me here. Is there any way to fix this?

Process chain can't activate ods

I have a Process chain like this.

after the process chain has been scheduling the data loading process run very good. But it's stuck at the activate ODS. The ODS can't be activated so the data can't fill into the infoCube.
Is my Process chain well defined?
Does anyone know how to solve the problem?

when I check the request of ODS the request, which has been made by the process chain, it is green.
"Call log" of that request, them all green.
but it just has one tab:
> Status During Load / 15.01.2008 / 08:31:16
"Load status set to "started" for DataStore object 0CPR_O02"
instead of 2 tab like I load by hand:
> Status During Load / 15.01.2008 / 08:31:16
"Load status set to "started" for DataStore object 0CPR_O02"
> Activation of Data / 15.01.2008 / 10:35:32
Maybe the problem happen in the "Active data store Obj"
waiting for your advise.

I'm new to Process chains. We have 3 servers, Development, Testing and Production.
I want to know do we need to create process chain in Production server directly or we have to create in Development server and then move it to Test and then in to Production? Please suggest me.

Hello Joe,
Different people follow different ideas: You can make the chains directly in Prod and maintain them there, or you can also create in Dev and transport them. We maintain them directly in production. This point has been discussed many times in the forums...a quick search should help you get a lot more info.

Have your process chain to start "After event". Then create an ABAP program to call function module BP_EVENT_RAISE. There are numerous postings in this forum on how to do this.
Next create two monthly jobs (one scheduled on the 1st and the other on the 28th) using SM36, and the only step in the job is to call the program to trigger (raise) the event. By triggering the event, your process chain will execute.
