BW Quick Reference Card?

Hi experts,
Does anybody have some kind of <i>BW Quick Reference Card</i> (Powerpoint/Word format) in which main functionality to get up to speed with BW 3.5 is depicted (reporting) in 1/2 sheets?
Think of:
starting SAP BW
Refreshing query
Select drill down/across
Display key/description
Select Filter Value
Change currency
KF properties
Saving report
etc.
If you got anything pls mail me (see business card)
Thanks 4 your time!
regards
JvB

Hi,
Sent a sample BW quick ref doc on your mail ID. Pls check.
Hope it helps.

  • Wanted: Quick Reference Card information (for PSE2)

I am trying to find the information provided on the "Quick Reference Card" mentioned in the PSE2 help (that you get when you press F1):
Using keyboard commands and modifier keys
Keyboard commands let you quickly execute commands without using a menu; modifier keys let you alter how a tool operates. When available, the keyboard command appears to the right of the command name in the menu. You can view a list of keyboard commands and modifier keys in the Quick Reference Card section of online Help.
I have searched the Adobe site and the internet, but can't find a copy. Who knows what I did with my original card! Can anyone point me to the info it contains?
    Thanks,
    Teffy

    Teffy,
Do you have the disc? If you do, there's a PDF copy of the Quick Reference Guide one the disc. (If you have Windows, Insert disc while holding in your shift key. Hold until you get a dialog box. Select Open Folder to View Files.)
I'm not sure if it's included in the download version. If it isn't included in the download, input PDF Quick reference guide Photoshop Elements 2 into the Google search bar. I found it on the first search page using that phrase. I didn't hot link it so you'd know the PDF's origin.
Edit: FWIW, the Editor shortcuts should be exactly the same version to version...if the feature exists in Elements 2--they've added a couple since E2 :). (The same applies to Photoshop shortcuts... providing the function is available in Elements) with one exception...Ctrl J. That shortcut is broken on the Window's version of Photoshop Elements 2.0. File Browser shortcuts would of course differ in versions 5 and 6 as it was replaced by the Organizer in Version 5.
I would highly recommend checking out Jay Arraich's site if you are a beginner.
    http://www.arraich.com/elements/psE_intro.htm
He has a large list of E1 shortcuts...all should apply except control J. It wasn't broken on E1. :)

  • Arch Linux Reference Card

All distros have a reference card as their features, but ArchLinux doesn't have any. (or it has but i couldn't find). Also i looked it up wiki but only found Arch Handbook but it hasn't edited yet.
Is it good idea to create a reference card for ArchLinux?

    At your service, or something...;)
Well, just to get started we could create a wiki entry for "reference card" containing all important conf files, rc.conf, pacman.conf and so on. And useful commands like lshwd, lspci, ifconfig, iwconfig and all that. And a quick and dirty for pacman.
Thats a start atleast. (I'll take the libirty to add the page myself)
As an inspiration I have http://people.debian.org/~debacle/refcard/.

  • This is my experience with MSI, and their NVIDIA GTX 570 reference card.

Hello my name is James king.
and This is my experience with MSI, and their NVIDIA GTX 570  reference card.
(5/27/12) Day one. I update my driver from Beta 301.24 To WHQL 301.42. and as you would expect, it worked. so i restart and go play kerbal space program (if you haven't played this go, play it now i love it) 5 minutes later it starts artifacting, eg. textures stretching, random green spots. "ugh" so i start troubleshooting, reinstall revert and so on. later i give up and go play  Portal 2, i load the game opening screen i see lots (100-250) of little flickering green dots. first instincts says its the cable, test nope. then maybe the screen, test nope. i keep testing  throughout the night, to no avail.
(5/28/12) so to the internet, for help. 3 hours later nothing, but people with bad cards.                 at opening i call NVIDIA Tech Support, they say to call MSI so i do. 3 calls no pick up, 4th call      and i get a "Support technician" who is no help, says to fill out a RMA form online.                    and so i do more troubleshooting for the rest of the day. and i give up, and go to bed.
(5/29/12)  i fill out a RMA form, end of day i get an email from MSI that says; "Dear Valued Customer [email] your RMA is pending approval, and you will get an email within 1 weak with shipping information.
(6/1/12) shipping information, instructions, but no shipping label.
(6/4/12) i ship the card, via UPS
(6/12/12) after using the most round about route eg. it got to MSI.

(6/13/12) email from MSI, says they got it.
(6/14/12) email from MSI, says it is in procesing.
(6/20/12) email from MSI, saying they shipped it and that [this] is the tracking number.
(6/26/12) end of day. i receive the card, and see the case is badly scratched. i install it in my pc and hey it worked (for now). watch some YouTube, and go to play skyrim. start up load my save and i make one step, and my pc hard freezes. "sigh" half an hour later, i give up and go play minecraft 10 minutes in, and it hard freezes. so now more troubleshooting,5 hours later no luck.
(6/27/12) i have called MSI Tech Support 2 times, when they picked up the phone they say to call customer service. 7 calls later no pickup.
and that is it MSI have sent my on the run around too long.

So are you asking us for help with your PC issues or simply complaining to us about your RMA which we on this forum have nothing to do with. We are MSI product users here the same as you and we are helping each other out with problems on their PCs with their MSI parts. If you need what help we can offer assisting you with a problem then start a new topic and we'll do the best we can to help you.

  • Free EJB Quick reference guide handbook?

I needing one, I dont have money to buy a book and the mastering ejb2
ebook dont allow printing(I tried to crack
and uncrypt but the software is trial and only uncrack 68 pages, and the quick reference
    start at 620!)
Any idea where I can get it?
I want one with general information, syntax, diagrams so I
dont need to keep opening a browser.
    Googling didnt help too much

The EJB spec is that best book there is on EJBs. Slow reading, but worth it. (One of the few books worth printing - 4 pages per sheet double sided).
Figure out xdoclet while you're at it, saves lots of grief or get yourself a decent IDE with a J2EE plugin and let it do the work - don't be lazy though, work out what's going on.

  • SCB-68 Quick Reference Label for PCI 6251

    Hello,
I would like to use the PCI 6251 multifunction DAQ card with the SCB-68 connector block. Can I make connections using the "SCB-68 E Series I/O connector pinout (Full)"?
    Ram

    Hello,
Yes, you can use an SCB-68 with an NI 6251 and wire it according to the E Series full 68 pin pinout. The only differences between the full 68 pin E Series pinout and the 68 pin M Series pinout are:
    1) With M Series, PFI0 no longer doubles as both an analog and digital trigger input. It is only a digital trigger input. APFI0, which is pin 20, is a dedicated analog trigger input on M Series. This pin is shared with the AO External reference input on M Series and corresponds to the AO External reference input on an E Series.
    2) PFI15 on an M Series corresponds to a ground on an E Series.
The M Series pinout for your device can be found in the M Series Help, located in the following location:

  • Cant understand how to save old emails for quick reference.

I saved old e-mails in folders called Jones, Jonathan by names first. Then saved his correspondence to and from me by date first, then subject we talked about. I am a historical researcher who has switched from XP to Windows 8.1. I have about 29,000 research letters filed by name, then date, then details in the subject line. I cannot afford to lose them, so will not put the XP computer on line at all now.
Meanwhile I need to keep new research letters in a Correspondence file that will not be stored at my ISP. It seems to get messed up after about 10 pages of letters in my IN Box. Do I have to invent some method of transferring a letter into Word, and then storing it under the Jones, John, then Filed by dates, and then subject so I can easily refer to them? I have about 250 different researchers on one subject that I need to keep track of for letters. I can do this also for Family and then again for Friends in different professions, and also for a few different Clubs I belong to, etc. Is there an easy way to do this? Can I have all my letters translate into Word documents before I even see them the first time? I do not subscribe to any groups that want to sell me something or any social media at all. Any help will be much appreciated.

I am an advanced researcher in one subject. I have about 250 researchers I communicate with over the years.
How on earth do I access their letters from say, 1982, when we were discussing something about John Jones in in Grey County in 1852? I know we have discussed that for sure. And that researcher is related to him distantly. In addition, I have about 250 very specific references to John Jones who are totally different men, from different places. I know all the different families from early Canada (basically 1600's to the 1800's). Ancestry.com doesn't even come close to having this type of info organized the way I do.
Back to the question - How do I keep this info organized the way I need to do it. They are real people and can't be treated like numbers. We discussed John Jones from Essex County, Ontario another time and decided he was not the same family at all. etc. The same holds true for a lot of other researchers.
I know Word is proprietary but tell me a better way of Keeping this correspondence straight. Open Office is not the answer. Linux is not the answer either. File cabinets full of correspondence to and from Jane Jones and 250 others used to be the answer - but now it is NOT!
When Word stopped supporting the massive files I already had from my early computers, I had to buy a program that would read Word from discs of letters I had filed from Jane Jones written to and from her, in about 1992. These were kept on separate floppies at that time and I wanted to incorporate them into my 'modern' list of correspondence that started about Y2K.
Do I need a program that will take the text out of an e-mail and automatically, give me the option of editing it for a title, starting with the date, and also the option of filing it where I want like Jane Jones, or Smith, Fred or more specifically Smith, Sally - Descendant of Sam Smith b. 1630 in MA?
And don't tell me I need to put this into an Excel sheet because it has room for thousands of searchable entries. I just need a secretary - or more correctly about a dozen of them. Putting all this research from the XP computer into anything connected to the internet is a total disaster.
It's all very nice to be patriotic and suggest it is safe in the cloud etc. but it is absolutely not ! Windows will throw out so many automatic corrections, firewalls, messages that something is wrong, your computer is locked etc. that you will have to commit Harry-Carry. There has to be a way of saving real correspondence, with real people who don't want to to bother with 'social' media. Help!!

  • Keyboard Command Quick Reference Sheet?

Just about the only reason I bought the physical CD version of Lightroom is to have a proper manual, and especially a keyboard command quick ref sheet. Imagine my surprise when I looked at the pathetic manual/brochure Adobe shipped with 1.0.
Anyway, can someone tell me the fast way to switch between Library and Develop modes? Also, if there is a quick ref for key commands listed online somewhere, I'd love to see it!
    Thanks,

    G'day Cornelj,
I have been teaching myself java for about 4 months now. I started out with a friends textbook and then went through the divelog tutorial and then the tutorials, which did a great job of explaining the basics. Then moved on to a book called Thinking in Java by bruce eckel. available at www.bruceeckel.com (recommended by another forum regular jimbeammii) which helped understand how to manipulate the basic stuff so it was useful. I have tried to find an easier way to learn but there isn't one. Apart from that it takes alot of trial and error and alot of people on here are helpful. I have tried to find (and haven't) some sort of reference API book, but I haven't found any. I can see why, there are some 2600 predefined classes and then each of those has a bunch of methods, so it would be pretty big. Mind you there are thousands of words in a dictionary each with definitions, so it would be a good idea if someone came up with on. Until then I think we are stuck with the online version.
    Good luck and happy learning.

  • Quick Graphics card question

System requirements for FCP X indicate the app needs  "OpenCL-capable graphics card or Intel HD Graphics 3000 or later."
I apologize for my ignorance, but my iMac has a ATI Radeon HD 4850 card, so will that work?
    Thanks.
    Gary

    Yes.
Just try to buy it. App Store will block purchase if your Mac can't run it. No risk at all.

  • Adobe Reader - Need to find a 3D PDF Tools Quick Reference Guide - HELP!!!!

Where can I find a QRG or even detailed instructions on how to use the 3D PDF tools.  Showing hotkeys, mouse usage such as "to rotate an object hold down the left mouse button and move cursor".
I have not been able to find anything useful on the web or help menus.  Any suggestions?

I don't know what "3D PDF tools" you are referring to, but it's definitely not something available in Adobe Reader.

  • In Internet Explorer under File, It had an option SEND TO DESKTOP which I used all the time when I wanted to keep an Icon for quick reference. Is there anything similar in Firefox?

I guess I said it all in my question above. I would like to know how to add different options to the menu.

See [[creating a desktop shortcut to a web page]].
You can also use an add-on such as [http://www.pikey.me.uk/mozilla/?addon=cs Create Shortcut] or [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/66/ deskCut].

  • Problem creating a link to a network folder

I am working with a SharePoint 2010 site. Due to not being able to utilize SharePoint Designer, I am limited to editing the site by first navigating to the SharePoint site and then selecting edit page from the site options menu.
I have a table setup and there are two cells within the table that I want to have linked to different network folders. The first cell has 'operations brief' in it, and after researching how to establish a link to a network folder, I learned that I could
do it by inserting a link and pointing to file://servername. In this situation, I highlighted the text and then selected insert and link from address option. I typed in
file://Y:\Operations%20Brief\2013 into the URL field. After saving the site, I tested the link and it successfully opened the network folder.
I then followed the same procedure for another network folder named Quick Reference Card. The only difference between the operations brief folder and the quick reference card folder is that the quick reference card folder has parentheses and numbers - Y:\(8)Library\Quick
Reference Card (QRC). I am not understanding why when I view the site out of editing mode, I can click on the operations brief folder and have it open. When I click the Quick Reference Card link, nothing happens. The text appears as a hyperlink -- it's in
    blue and is underlined.
I've removed the link and re-added it several times, only to get the same result. I can't figure out why one link works, and why another one doesn't even though I'm sure I created the second link the same way I created the first link.

    Hi,
I have followed the same procedure what you followed, it is working as expected and both the links are working fine.  The following is the HTML SOURCE from the content editor web part.  Please verify your HTML source from the content editor part.
    <p></p>
    <p>Welcome to Operations folder <a href="file:///Y:/Operations%20Brief/2013">Operations</a></p>
