BW report iView bg color change problem

Hi All,
I created a BW report with alert Monitor entry and published in Portal(EP6.0 SP2) as an iview. Here my problem is changing default back ground color of iView(Default it shows blue/grey) and i tried this by changing theme but didn't get any luck.Is anyone having this kind of problem? Please help me in this problem because client is asking this change immediatly.

I have tried to clean the cache and also restarted the server, but still I get the error: Jump target cannot be executed.

Report rows persistent color change

Greetings all,
I created a report and setup conditions so that rows will be either RED for Overdue, Yellow for within a week of being overdue and Green for all good. What is happening is when I run the report it shows the colors perfectly. If I run my mouse over them rows they change back to grey and I have to refresh the page to get them to show up again. Is there a way to make the colors persistent? So when the report is run and a row is red, it stays red and does not change again until the page is required and the criteria changes.
Thanks in advance. I don't have it on apex.oracle.com but if necessary I can put a mock up on the site.

<li>Create a copy of the report template used for the report
<li>Remove the <tt>#HIGHLIGHT_ROW#</tt> substitution string from the Before Each Row template
<li>Delete the Background color for checked/current row values from the Row Highlighting template
<li>Set the report to use the copied report template

Color changing problem

I am having trouble with a document in InDesign. I have a photoshop image on my page and when I add any other artwork, by using the place option or copying and pasting, the photoshop image changes color. It dulls the color. Anyone know why or how to fix this?

CS5 save for web color change problem

I've just started using PS CS5 on a new iMac, and I'm having some problems with save for web colors. If I save an image (for example a shape with a solid color) then add it to a site I'm making then test in Safari, then take a screenshot with Grab, then open again in Photoshop, test the screenshot color with the eyedropper, the color value is slightly different to the original Photoshop file.
Previously in CS3, I had the color settings RGB workspace set to Monitor RGB display, and view > proof setup > Monitor RGB. Then when saving for web I made sure convert to sRGB was unchecked. This always worked and would give me the exact same colors in the browser as Photoshop.
I have tried the same settings now is CS5, plus a few other variations (like using view >proof setup > internet standard RGB) but it is just not working.
Does anyone know the correct setup to save for web in CS5 and get the same original colors?
I'm saving them as jpegs.

I'm really confused about this now. My display profile in OSX settings is set to iMac. I have some specific questions:
- What should my color settings be in Photoshop?
- What should the proof setup be set to?
- What color profile should my documents be set to?
- What are the correct options to select when I save to web?
I just want to able to save a jpeg image for web, and get the exact same colors as my original Photoshop file. Please help!

Difference: SAP BW Report iview - Query iView - URL iView

I want to show BW reports on the portal. Can anybody suggest me the different ways of doing it ? And also let me know about checklist of steps that need to be performed.
Can anybody tell me the difference between showing BW reports through URL iviews, showing reports through Query iView and showing reports through SAP BW Report iView ?
Which one can i use for showing BW reports taking into consideration the implementation of SSO between the two? I tried the URL iView (using the Web URL of reports generated by BW) but it asks for Username/password. Is that the problem with SSO. How can i check if SSO parameters have been set or not. I have imported the verify.der to BW System and added that to ACL. Is there anything else which is required?

Hi Manoj,
I feel BW report iview will solve your problem. You can create a query sting in BW query designer and give the same in BW query string text area while creating BW report iview.
In the case of an url iview you are just giving a URL link of the BW report (this will ask for username/password).
But, in the case of a BW report iview you can view the required query as an iview (user mapping can be successfully done in this case) You should give fully qualified domain name in Was server option while creating the system.
While using the logon ticket Login id of both the system (ie BW and Portal) should be the same.

This does color change but for some rows the colors are highlighted wrong and when i mouse over the rows , it changes to wrong color.

t1Data and t2Data sound like standard theme css class names.
In my example, the colouring is done by the style attribute on the TD tag. For "normal" rows:

Unable to change language for SAP BW Report Iview

Dear all
We are currently rolling out BW Web Templates can be displayed in both EN and MS languages. The language can be changed via the URL that we display, e.g.
For English Language:
http://<hostname>:<port>/sap/bw/BEx?SAP-LANGUAGE=EN&cmd=ldoc&template_id=ZTEST
For Malay Language :
http://<hostname>:<port>/sap/bw/BEx?SAP-LANGUAGE=7&cmd=ldoc&template_id=ZTEST
We have published these templates into Ent. Portal 6 using SAP BW Report Iview, but unfortunately we cannot view the report in the Malay language (SAP-LANGUAGE=7), even though we have inserted the command SAP-LANGUAGE=7 in the SAP BW Report Iview query string. All the reports, although defaulted to SAP-LANGUAGE=7 displays in English. We also tried to set the language settings for the Iview, but there are no language 7 or MS in the Iview. It can only be defaulted to the Portals language, which is English.
Note that the reports can be viewed in the different languages if we using the URL separately outside of Portal, and also within BW Bex Analyzer itself. Only the Portal doesnt allow us to view the reports in MS language.
Can someone help us on this matter? All helps really appreciated. Thanks a lot.

That's a bit odd indeed. If I understand your question correctly, you do get the BW reports in the correct language (either English or Malay) using the url's in your post but not when using them within a standard BW report iView?
The language setting for the iView has, unfortunately, nothing to do with the language for the content itself but can you tell me what the requested URL is for both Reports?
The BW Report iView is based on the Application Integration Component that generates the URL based on the paramaters you provide in the BW report iView.The following template is being used: <iView[PORTAl_URL]>?System=<System[url_Encode]>&Report=<Report>&DynamicParameter=<DynamicParameter[url_Encode]>. I could be that the generation of the URL fails due to the 7 (don't know why, just a gut feeling because it's the only thing that's different between those urls). You could try to use create an iView based on the Application Integrator instead (some more control over the URL template) but first you need to check whether the URL generated by the iView is correct.

I'd take it into my local APple store and have them look at it. There may be something wrong inside your device.

Problem With the BI reports iviews in EHP 1.0 for Maintenance

Hi All,
We are using EHP1.0. In the portal for BI report i have to make visible/Invisible the BI report iview According to user.
Is it possible to remove all the active queries except the ones relating to notifications from the maintenance Tasks Iview? Could you provide a step by step please?
In the Reports section and the Service Map section, there are many BI reports but the customer does not have BI.
1) How to hide these reports Iview by changing the launchpad ?
2) is it possible to do this globally so all users do not see these?
Kindly help me with your valuble suggestion or document related to that issue.

Why this behaviour. Why the "Classpath" entry should
not be the last line in the manifest file.
That is a question for the people at Sun. The behaviour is not specific to Class-Path. The last line of the Manifest is not read unless it ends with a newline.

Change Iview Background Color

How can I change the standard (white) Iviews Bacground in EP6.0 ???
Into portal "Theme Editor" i can modify many color and form parameter but I can't find "Iview background color parameter"...

Hi There,
In the portal themes, there is a component 'iView Trays' under 'Complex Elements'. For the 'iView Trays' try changing the parameters in 'Body of Plain Tray'.

For the sake of clarity and to save people time, Todd is asking about the behaviour of the Patch tool when using it to repair the area next to the young lad's head. Todd gets a blurred dark tone pretty much regardless of the options he uses.
IMO that's what I would expect to happen because of the close proximity of the other image elements i.e. the lad's neck and the strong lines of his shirt. I would not choose to use the Patch tool in this situation. Content Aware Fill makes a better stab at it.

Integration BW and publish BW report iview on Internet problem

    I have configurated the Single Sign-On bew our BW and Portal.
    On intranet, our employee can access BW reports via Portal .
    On Internet, all of BW reports display blank.
    My problem is :
    I want that our employee can access BW reports via Portal on Internet,
    do we need to open a port of BW server on Internet for Portal to communicate with BW ?
    Is there any mothod which no need to open port of BW serve on Internet ?
    Any discuss is welcome !

The URL for the Query is working fine. ko76 is our BW system.
I'm having same problem with BSP iViews also. URLs are working fine but iView are not.
We have done LAN settings in Internet Explorer, Updated the hosts file, done user name and password settings using SICF and activated it.
But, no success so far

Problems with color change (Acrobat 8 to Acrobat 9)

Hi. We are have an issue with the colors changing from the way they look on the screen to the way it plots out on our plotter. The PDF had no problems in Acrobat 8. The same file was then plotted in 9 and now the colors change from the way they appear on screen to the way they appear on paper. The PDF file originated from ESRI ArcGIS 9.3.1. We open up the file in Acrobat and send it to our plotter, a HP DesignJet 1050C PS 3. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

SAP BW Report iView problem

Im trying to create a SAP BW Report iView with a BEx URL, but Im getting an error:
Session Management will not work! Please check the DSM log file for details.
When I use the wizard (for SAP BW Report iView), it asks me to fill out the web application string. Here I pasted in the URL. I left the application parameters blank.
The BEx URL:
http://<hostname>/sap/bw/BEx?sap-language=DA&bsplanguage=DA&CMD=LDOC&TEMPLATE_ID=WEB_TRAFIK_STARTSIDE
The BW call works fine in the browser and with a URL iView!?
EP 6.0 / WAS 6.40 / BW 3.5

you should be using BW Report iView.
and when you create BW Report iView pass the following for the querystring parameter
CMD=LDOC&TEMPLATE_ID=WEB_TRAFIK_STARTSIDE
for this to work, in the system definition WAS host , was path and was protocol should be maintained

Problem in developing a Portal Activity Report iView

I have developed a Portal Activity Report iView and assigned some iviews to the "Specify Report Content" option! I am supposed to get the user information but instead, I see the message "No content available for the specified period".
Am I missing anything?
Can someone help me out in this regard!!!

Keep in mind that the Portal Activity Reporting functionality only collects user information from hits to pages that have the Monitor Users property set to true. You can monitor the number of hits to an iView, but cannot collect user information about those hits. If you need this kind of information for an iView, I would recommend adding the iView to a page and then collecting the activity reporting information you need from the page hits.
