BW Statistics - Is it transportable ?

Hello Gurus,
This is a question on BW Statistics. I have made the necessary settings to switch on BW Statistics. My question is, Are these settings Transportable or do they need to be maintained in each landscape.

BW expert I need some help on the transport of the BW statistic cube. We have this cube in production and now we need to add some time dimension.Following are the steps performed.
1) Modified time Dimension of cube 0BWTC_C02 to include 0calmonth, 0calquart1, etc
2) Added to original UR 0BWTC_C02
3) Created New InfoArea to segregate loop back cube
4) Created loop back cube ZBWTC_C02 as a copy of 0BWTC_C02

9) created Infopackages on Infosource 8ZBWTC_C02
Now this is sitting in the development I want to transport to QA . what are the necessary steps I need to do this transport.

I assume you have assigned transport request to all your objects. If you have not done that then the first step is to assign a transport request to all your object by assigning a transportable package to it. If required you can create a new package for the new 'Z' objects using SE80 or you can also re-use the old ones.
Please capture request as mentioned below:
Step 1: -
1st request -> cube 0BWTC_C02, ZBWTC_C02 & info-area
once the cubes are transported you need to replicate the datamart data sources in the target system. select source systems in target system -> go to data-mart application component -> right click -> replicate data sources
I couldn't re-call exactly whether the data mart is generated as soon as you activate the cube or not. I am quite sure it gets generated for the ODS object as soon as you activate the ODS object hence you need not transport the data mart info-sources for the ODS object. Check whether you get a data-mart symbol as soon as the cube is transported and check whether the data source exist as well. If not then you need to replicate the data source first prior to your data-mart info-source.
Step 2
2nd request -> data mart info-source (8ZBWTC_C02, 80BWTC_C02)
Step 3
3rd request -> all update rules (dependant on request 2)
Step 4
4th request -> all info-packages (dependant on request 2)

Shipment Reports Updation

Dear Gurus,
Just like we configure the standard updation rule in sales like

And same I would wants to update the shipment, can any guru assist me to how to proper configure it. So far i configure it like this.
1.Maintain Statistics Groups for Transportation Service Agent "01".
2. Maintain Statistics Groups for Shipment Types "01".
3. Assign Statistics Groups for each Shipment Type Z001 > 01, Z002 > 01.
4. Assign Statistics Groups for each Transportation Planning Lo , here I found multiple columns
a. Transporation planning point "ZPEL"
b. Statistical group shipment type "01"
c. Statistical group Transporation service agent "01"
d. UPDATE GROUP FOR STATISTICAL UPDATE "so far i input here "40", is it correct.

BI Statistics transports: SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC

Hello Experts,
I have a strange issue with with my statistics transports in production.
In Quality there is no issue present with the transport but where as the same failed in production with the below error message.
in STMS:
Program terminated (job: RDDEXECL, no.: 09071900)
With the return Code: 12.
When I look at the log of the job: here is the summary:
ABAP/4 processor: SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC the logs shows that it has failed with the this error message.
I have searched for OSS notes and other information but still there is no update on this kind of issue.
Does any one faced this kind of issue? Please help me on this issue as its critical for me as its failed in production system.
Objects in transports:
Infoobjects and its Master data flow and its corresponding Query elements.

Hi,
This could be because there is already a query (or several) having a problem in the definition. This problem does not allow any saving of the affected object. Technically a save is a sequence of the SQL statements DELETE and INSERT. First the current query definition is deleted from the database and the next INSERT introduces a new definition provided by the transport routine.
The problem in the query definition is located in the table RSZELTPRIO storing the priorities of properties of query elements. The tables key structure looks the following.
COMPUID UID of the query
OBJVERS object version
ELTUID UID of the query element where priorities are set.
The origin of the problem is that the field COMPUID contains an UID of an element which is NOT a query. If this happens, the DELETE statement is not able to delete this record during the first deletion phase and the following INSERT tried to add a record already exisitng in the database. The database then raises the corresponding dump.
Solution: you need to identify in the table RSZELTPRIO the records
where COMPUID is not a query element and then to delete them from the
tables manually. This is 100% safe, no danger for the exisitng objects.
This to be done in 3 steps:
1. Using SQL shell RSDU_EXEC_SQL (SA38) execute the following statemet
SELECT compuid FROM rszeltprio WHERE compuid NOT IN
( SELECT compuid FROM rszcompdir )
This will display records from the RSZELTPRIO for which the COMPUID is
not in the table RSZCOMPDIR storing queries.
2. If some elements will be selected by this statement, copy the UIDs
of these elements and using SE16 check with this UIDs in the table
RSZELTDIR. All those elements must have DEFTP <> REP. This is just to
ensure that the origin of the problem is caught.
3. Delete all records from the RSZELTPRIO where COMPUID = to the UIDs
selected on the step 1 in ALL object version. This can be done via
SE16 or using a statement
DELETE FROM rszeltprio WHERE compuid = (UID detected above)
After that the issue is immediately solved and you may reimport the transport request. It should not happen again.

in the Include MM06EFET_ETT_FUELLEN there is following coding:
IF NOT im_sd_scheduling IS INITIAL.
PERFORM ett_sd_scheduling USING 'X' 'X' eket *eket
CHANGING eketdata_sd.
In the FORM ETT_SD_SCHEDULING
there is the following coding:
Datum oder Uhrzeit geändert --> Versandterminierungsdaten zurücksetzen
CLEAR c_eketdata_sd.
Lieferdatum und Uhrzeit setzen
c_eketdata_sd-eindt = i_eketn-eindt.
c_eketdata_sd-uzeit = i_eketn-uzeit.
So the internal table c_eketdata_sd is cleared and only the delivery date and time are updated, but not the statistc relevant date.
It seems to me like standard behaviour of SAP.

Transportable Tablespace and Table Statistics

We are loading a large datawarehouse of about 2Tb, with tables up to 100Gb full of raster images. The database is 9.2.0.7 on Solaris, and we are using Transportable Tablespaces to move datafiles and tablespaces from data integration server to production server.
During the data integration, we calculate statistics on large tables, and it takes forever. We are wondering if these statistics are moved along with the metadata from data integration server to production server. In other words, should we calculate statistics before the tablespace export or after the tablespaces have been set online on the production server.

Upto my knowledge you dont need to calculate statistics.
Even with export & import command there is a option for statistics.
So when ever you export oracle by default export the statistics of that table.

Info Objects went thru OK.
But, when iam trying to send the Data Sources, its showing the message that Import of the transport is successful, but, i can't see the data source in the Target system.
Please let me know, do i need to do any setting, prior to transporting the Data sources?

How can I set up a database program for inputing baseball team statistics that is compatible with numbers?

I have been asked to be a statistician bar and athletic team. We are playing Dartball, a game of darts that is based on baseball. The previous status station used Apple works which included a database manager that was compatible with numbers. I have checked with the Apple geniuses online for my MacBook Pro and they did not have an answer to my problem. Is there a program that can be used on my MacBook Pro that will keep up with statistics for eight baseball team?

Im all for the dumb questions, because its probably a dumb mistake I did.
I have checked that both sus ped and exp. ped are fully plugged in.
Neither pedals show up in the Midi meter in the transport.
I dont know how to set a patch for the keyboard, but if both pedals work in other programs (i.e. Reason), wouldn't it not be an issue with a Logic configuration and not in the keyboard's setting? (Unless I have a separate Logic setting that loads automatically when it detects Logic is booted. I dont know how that would work though.)

Error "Object 'DM' (APCO) of type 'Application' is not available in version 'A'" while transporting process chain to production system.

Whenever I try to transport a process chain ZFI_0FIGL_C10 from dev. to qua. & prod. the error “Object 'DM' (APCO) of type 'Application' is not available in version 'A'” is displayed in the end of creating transport package.
The process chain was created to load data to 0figl_c10 and it works all right on all systems (dev. qua. prod.).
The process chain contains processes for:
- starting the process chain
- executing infopackage (for loading data to 0figl_o10),
- ACR (activate data in 0figl_o10)
- delete index 0figl_c10
- DTP loading data from 0figl_o14 to 0figl_c10
- executing infopackage 80FIGL_O10
- creating index in 0figl_c10
- building DB statistics
- rolling up aggregates in 0figl_c10
- deleting of requests from the changelog 0figl_o10
- deleting of requests from PSA (0fi_gl_10)
How to find what cause that error.

A SAP consultant told me to ignore that error.
Indeed, after creating transport with some new process chains (again I was informed about that error "APCO ...") and transporting it to production everything works all right.
The problem is described in sap note: 883745.

you must extend the log complete, than you'll see the
object, which caused the error.
RC = is only warning:
All the objects were transported successfully.
Peculiarities occurred for certain objects. These might
not have been intentional.
Example: A warning is given during a transport if the request contains an object deletion. ...

ABAP/4 Query is a powerful tool to generate simple reports without any coding. ABAP/4 Query can generate the following 3 simple reports: Basic List: It is the simple reports. Statistics: Reports with statistical functions like Average, Percentages. Ranked Lists: For analytical reports. - For creating a ABAP/4 Query, programmer has to create user group and a functional group. Functional group can be created using with or without logical database table. Finally, assign user group to functional group. Finally, create a query on the functional group generated.
You can transport queries between systems in SQ02 (hit the lorry button) or run program RSAQR3TR.
You download the infosets, queries etc into a file and load them into whichever system you wish.

Urgent-How to run the BW Statistics Query?

we have recently installed the Techincal Content queries.We have about 43 queries Now i have to check the queries in Q before i approve them for transport to Prod.

Hi Kiran,
I would suggest that you do some tests for a period of 1 week to ten days. In this period you should run some daily loads on your structures for which the Statistics has been activated.
Then on a daily basis you can run your queries like 0BWTC_C10_Q314 - WHM Use per InfoSource. In this query based on the selection of your infosource you can get the following informations
1. Different request ID's loaded into the Data targets.
2. the information on Data targets, like which are the data targets linked to the info source.
3. Date and time when loading into the Data targets happened.
4. Number of records transferred and added into the Data target...and much more.
After getting this Info you can check in the system if your test loads which you are doing on a daily basis matches this information or not.
You can do similar tests on Query usage for example where you can ruin certain queries in your system and see if the information is reflected in your queries.
For this u can use 0BWTC_C10_Q011 - OLAP Use per User.
Also donot forget that to refresh the statistics information you have to always reload your statistics cubes and this you should do via a process chain and schedule it atleast twice in a day so that every morning you get the refreshed information as to what was loaded the previous day.

Hi,
Your Error statement COMMIT shows that the sytem has submittted the request to make connection with the system.
But it immediately gives CON_ROLLBACK (statement) error, which generally happens, there is not enough space in your quality system. therefore the Rollback of the submitted request happens.
Check the DB space in ur Qual system and speak to your BASIS team, so that it can increase the DB size and also, u can urself clean the system.
