BX Master - wrong flash type error?

On my BX master right after the table where is the whole system summarized (the table after Promise controller is finished with detecting IDE devices)-on some mainboards is there Updating ESCD or something like it I got strange message Wrong Flash Type - everything seems to work. Win98SE work flawlessly. When I remove all PCI cards from the board this message dissapears. But I cant install WinXP it starts checking devices and freezes. Memory, HDD, CPU all checked OK - no overclock. Does anyone know what the "Wrong Flash type" message means and how to remove it forever? Thx in adv for help  ?(

  • Wrong Operand Type Error Message - please help

    I have built a form and I keep getting the message - Wrong Operand Type every time I either try to preview or save to PDF as the file suddenly becomes 90% blank (I can see the content boxes for any date fields in the form and if I click the highlight fields option I can see place holders for all of the content) but other than that it wont process properly. I have tried going through the document and made sure that item by item the fields are all inline with each other, have the same fonts, etc. I even tried deleting out every single item in the form, previewing it, then placing that item back in and moving on to the next to try a process of elimination to see if I could figure out what item(s) were causing the problem, but still no luck.
    Please help.

    I, too, am having this error message. I read somewhere that it is either because of the font Helvetica Nueue, or because the files is being shared between a PC and a Mac. The quickest fix I have found, is to take the pdf and open it in Illustrator and convert all the text to curves. Then it should work correctly.
    I don't think anyone has found a definitive answer.
    thanks

    Restore Disk is Valid. I have used it before to restore the Original Drive.
    Attempted to run Ghost from the Restore Disk. HDD took the Restore but will NOT boot from it.
    I have taken all the proper steps in setting up the Laptop.
    Others POSTed for this Model Laptop have had the same issue
    Im not going to send it in to an ASP.
    I am Toshiba Certified but this one has been a real Pain in the Bottomside.
    Im about ready to do what one of my former Customers did to his Laptop out of frustration.
    He smashed it until nothing was left.
    It seems to me Toshiba want us to sell and support their products but we are not getting the support that we need!

  • File error: wrong file type

    So my friend dropped my MacBook Pro the other day and broke my hard drive. Most of the data (well, 300 out of 500G) was recovered, but all I *really* cared about was the FEATURE LENGTH FILM I'd spent the last 4 months editing. And of course it was too big to fit on my external hard drive and I'm too broke to buy a new one, so if I can't get it open from the recovered data I'm going to have to re-edit the thing.
    The file itself did seem to survive the data recovery process, but when I open the file, it gives me an error: "File error: wrong file type." I've played around with the extensions- first saving the extensionless file as a .fce (this is actually FCE, not FCP, but I thought people might have better answers in this forum), which didn't work, then tried saving it as a .txt, then resaving as .fce, which also didn't work. No matter what I do, it's still giving me the "wrong file type" error.
    Is my data probably just corrupted and I'm screwed? Or is there anything else I can try to recover the project? Most of my source files seem to have survived (although they all lost their .mov extension), but the Final Cut file itself just won't open.
    Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
    Amy

    You might give the following a try...
    1. open the .fcp file with TextEdit
    2. save the file again
    3. open with fcp

  • MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum "Unknown Flash Type" at boot

    I get a unknown flash type error at start up. Also a OS Loading error and just hangs there. If I hard boot/ F11/ choose boot disc as my 160gig seagate ATA drive the OS loads. I don't want to have to boot this way everytime I start up. Any Ideas?
    Mike

    Kept get various blue screens-never the same one. Decided it was some kind of viris or bad boot drive. Replaced old drive-did total reinstall of OS. Installed all drivers for the motherboard from the supplied driver disc- there are NO yellow ? marks on any of the devices or controller in Device manager.

  • Flash Sprite Convert #BitmapData Wrong Type Error

    When using a flash sprite to convert an image to #BitmapData I get a "Wrong Type" error. Does this only work with specific image types? Any ideas on what might cause this error? The image I am trying to convert is from a bitmap member.
    ie.
    bmp_data = flash_sprite.convert( #BitmapData, member( "some bmp" ).image )

    Try a little error checking:
    im = member("some bmp").image
    put im
    put flash_sprite
    bmp_data = flash_sprite.convert( #BitmapData, im )
    put bmp_data

  • File Error: Wrong File Type for Project File

    Just had our 2nd LaCie 2tb hard drive crash. Just completed a project and was about ready to compress it when the drive wouldnt boot up anymore. I tried every program under the sun before eventually sending it off for data recovery.
    $1700 dollars later I have all my files, except one little change.
    My FCP project files are not recognizable by FCP anymore. In the get info box it says they are "Kind: Final Cut Pro Document" The preview picture is a gradient box with exec in the green text in the upper left corner. I tried adding the .fcp extension, but it still wouldn't open it. I keep getting the "File Error: Wrong File Type" when I try opening it with FCP.
    Anything I can do to fix this?
    Thanks

  • ECryptFs error: wrong fs type

    Hi everyone,
    I'm trying to set up an encrypted folder in my home directory, but when I try to mount ecrypfts I get:
    mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /home/mihasi/.private,
    missing codepage or helper program, or other error
    In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
    dmesg | tail or so
    I've installed keyutils-1.4 and ecryptfs-83 from the AUR, which seems to solve this problem for most people. Should I install some additional packages or is there another trick to get it to worK?

    Sorry, should have pasted that as well. I copied the command directly from the ArchWiki page, only edited the paths. Here is the latest attempt:
    [root@backtop mihasi]# mount -t ecryptfs /home/mihasi/.private /home/mihasi/private
    mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /home/mihasi/.private,
    missing codepage or helper program, or other error
    In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
    dmesg | tail or so
    Dmesg gives this line of output every time I try the above command:
    Error parsing options; rc = [-22]

  • DLT error message  Wrong volume type

    Hi Everyone,
    I have DVD studio Pro 3 with an ATTO UL3D. It seems that
    I can copy to my Quantum 8000 (at least no error pops up) but I can't read it back. I get the error:
    And would the copy to the tape be good even though I can't
    read it - hopefully two seperate problems.
    Common reasons that this could happen:
    - DLT tape does not contain DDP or CMF format.
    - Issues with the DLT drive.
    - Unable to write to the target volume.
    Error message:
    Wrong volume type
    Thanks for any help.
    Powerbook G4   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

    Hi, I just wanted to give people an update on my question.
    I bought workgroup restrospect backup 6.1 on ebay. (very good price $17.00) I was able to see what the problem was - it was the tape. It had been formatted for a PC (I was told it was a brand new tape). When I used a real brand new DLT tape it worked beautifully. Retrospect is a great piece of software.
    It is very helpful to examine a tape if your having problems to narrow down the possibilities.

    Hi venkatesh,
       Here are the details of the ALE configuration for sending the IDOCS to FILE.
    SAP:
    1. RFC destination to XI system.
    2. Check the message type.
    3. create the logical system ( hope this is created if you are working in any projects )
    as this is a one time activity and is done by the basis team at the time of post installation process.
    LS ---> SAP
    LS1--->XI
    3. define a port to send the IDOCS.
    4.  go to WE 20. create a partner profile. and provide the message type in the outbound parameters.
    and provide the port details.
    5. Create a CDM(BD64) and provide the details.
    XI:
    1. Create an RFC connection to SAP system.
    2. Define the port details from IDX1
    3. upload the meta data from IDX2.
    go to WE19 and generate the IDOCS and see if the IDocs are sucessfully send to the port or not from WE02.
    Check in XI side if the IDocs hits or not.
    Thanks,
    Jay

    Ein Versuch, die Pipe /usr/omni/tmp/SDB.BACKDP-Data[1].1 manuell auf dem MaxDB-Server anzulegen, schlug ebenso fehl. Eine Pipe /usr/omni/tmp/SDB.BACKDP-Data kann angelegt werden.
    Frage 1) Hat jemand ein ähnliches Problem und dazu eine Lösung?
    Frage 2) Wo ist hinterlegt, welchen Medium-Name der Data Protector beim command "medium_put" verwenden soll?
    Danke für Eure Hilfe!
    Gruß

    Hi Marcus,
    we use the version 5.5.
    The pipe name is generated by the Data Protector. When I want to create manually a pipe with this name I got the message "No hit found".
    Do you know a  possibilty where we can configure (at Data Protector or MaxDB) which medium name should be used for creating the pipe?
    Thanks a lot!
    Gerhard

  • Wrong message type while sending response from TP

    Hi,
    We are simulating a scenario in which the host is sending a Rosetta over RNIF request to TP. The request is getting completed and acknowledgement is reaching the host properly.
    Now we are trying to send back a response from TP for the above request. But the following error is being observed:-

    As it can be seen from the logs, the message type is being set to 1. However it should be 2 in case of response.
    The following header properties are being used in the AQ stub:-
    msgID = G20090303035936810.34565d:11fc706dc89:-7fbc@706519011
    from = COMSTOR

    doctypeRevision = V02.03.00
    payload = Pip3A4_Response_POA10170020309.xml

    Can you please let us know the reason for the wrong message type being set?
    Regards,
    Ravi Shah

    Dheeraj,
    We have included msgType=2 as a part of the AQ header.
    The logs show that message type is getting set to 2 but still COMSTOR is Buyer and BTGS is Seller.
    Because of this, agreement look-up is getting failed.
