By creating Web Gallery from CS4 Bridge can we allow people to download photos

I want to create web gallery from CS4 but want to allow users to download a particular photo or the full album. How can we do this setting. May be we can create a PDF file but that will allow user to download the full PDF and then create a new page and save the PDF again with the particular photo but I need them to save the file in JPG.
Do any one know how to do this setting making Web Gallery in HTML or other option JPG format.

How can you save a customized Web Gallery in CS4 Bridge?

While trying out some the Web Galleries in CS4 Bridge, I have customized several using the customizing options. The info I type in is saved automatically but if I change from one gallery to another, all the customized choices for colors, etc., returns to the default version. Surely there is a way to save what I have input? Kind of ridiculous if you have to do this every time you want to make a gallery. Also, seems that some galleries have more customizing options while others leave those options off. Is this just a bad oversight by Adobe? In the HTML web option, anyway to have it list the file number/name below the image?

I was surprised that no one wanted to answer this question.

Help: Controlling transitions in flash web galleries from CS4/Bridge

Hi all,
Is there a way to control the transitions from one image to the next when generating a flash web gallery? I'm using CS4/Bridge on WinXP.
The fade out/in from one image to the next is very chunky, no matter what the file size. And that's on my local copy before I've uploaded it to the web.
I also haven't found a way to generate web galleries from within CS4 itself (looked at file/automate, as well as window/output, but nothing obvious in either location).

Your procedures are correct. The pertinent features have been moved from PS to Bridge. You can use the old method by finding the respective scripts on your install DVD's Extras section (or downloading them). Regarding transition performance and speed I don't think you can do anything. that is solely determined by the Flash template used for that and if you have no way of creating your own ones, there doesn't seem much point in even worrying about things you may not be able to change. Use it or loose it, if you allow me to put it that way. You can however certainly find enough other gallery tools on the web, they may just require you to change your approach and learn some basic web design stuff...

Question about the "Create Web Gallery" function in Bridge

I created a beautiful Web Gallery using Bridge's built-in function which creates a Photoshop Web Gallery.
Everything works great except for one thing. When I click the "E-Mail Feedback" button, Apple Mail loads and creates blank e-mail message. This is all good, but for some reason the address line is loading up with data instead of just an e-mail address. I was hoping someone versed in html could tell me what I'm doing. The source code in ThumbnailFrame.html looks like this:

Can you create a web gallery from Stacks?

Hi.
I have several stacks totalling 108 images.
How do I create a web gallery that shows the images, not the picks from Stacks? Is that even possible?

I would keyword the stacks in question then build either an Album or a Project from the keyworded images, and a web gallery from that.

I noticed the feature to create a web gallery from a folder of images is no longer in the same menu dropdown. Is this feature still available in CS4? If so, where do I go to find it.
IF NOT, is their another way to create automated web galleries?

Yes within Bridge buried in the Workspace dialog box area.
Bridge now does galleries similar to the way Lightroom can create web galleries.
Lightroom does an excellent job of this.
This is a simple html version but you can generate Flash galleries as well:

This was discontinuted in CS5 howerver you could migrate that plugin to CS5. I don`t know if you can do this with CS6.
To my knowledge they only provided a revised Contact sheet II script for CS6. In my opinion a very bad idea because they should have put all efforts and resources to enhance the Output Module PDF contact sheet that has far more options.
Still not using web galleries but the goal for web gallery was also to use this in the Adobe Output Module, maybe that provides you the options you want?

Web gallery built in Bridge, then linked from DW site, doesn't work

Using the "web gallery" function in Adobe Bridge CS5, I created an HTML-based web gallery and uploaded it directly from Bridge to here on the web:

I can view this in Safari 5.0.5 on my Mac, but it's a blank white page in Firefox and in Chrome. Even worse, my client gets a blank page in every Windows-based browser.
If I can get it to work at all, my intent is to add it within a frame on this page:

Again, it seems to work in Safari (but only after a refresh on an iPad), but doesn't work anywhere else.
The web gallery function in Bridge would be ideal to use for this gallery, but it just doesn't work and I have no idea how to fix it. Any help or insights on what's wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone see changes in images when making a web gallery through Adobe Bridge cs4??? Please Help!

When creating web galleries through adobe bridge CS4 the final gallery images become very orange.....
Not even comparable to what we are seeing in Bridge or Photoshop CS4....
Adobe tells me that this is happening because of the conversion for web use.
We are just noticing this change now and feel that there is a problem somewhere.....
Has anyone else seen this issue or now anything to do to get it fixed???

You probably want to ask this in the Bridge forum. From what I know, Bridge converts the profile to sRGB which helps avoids big color shifts if you view the images in an uncolormanaged web browser. This may change the appearance slightly, but there shouldn't be a huge shift.

I want to customize the "HTML Gallery" web gallery template in Bridge CS6.

Using Win7 64bit + PS CS6 64 bit ext on a 16GB PC. In which folder do I find the web gallery templates for Bridge CS6? Is there info available on how the programming/configuration works with the info passed by Bridge - filename, contact info, copyrights, description/title, email, etc.
Please point me to any sources of info.
I lke the idea of setting-up a gallery directly from bridge. Any other ideas?

My Scripts are just hacks of a Script Jeff created for the Simpleviewer Flash Web Gallery, The script support that Flash Gallery and their other Flash Galleries and the Flash WS-Slideshow Gallery so mobile devices without Flash support can not view my galleries. So some nice tablets with High resolution displays are not supported, The Scripts basically uses canned HTML for the Gallery Viewer and writes the XML file for your Images getting the information for title and description ect from the image files metadata, The Format of the gallery is also controlled in the XML file written by the script. I just hack at JavaScript and because I don't use the Bridge for selection and order it did not brother me that Jeff's code did not support or use Bridge talk It simply includes all image from a folder into the gallery it creates. It uses Photoshop Script to create the gallery tree with Thumbnails and web size images with optional visible watermark text stamp, Web image size is set like fit image my scripts default size is 1600x1200. Server doesn't like web galleries from CS4

I've been trying to export a web gallery from Bridge, but when it's uploaded I get this error:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /Kauffman-2009/index.html on this server.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
The server doesn't have issues with other index.html files, it seems like there's something specific to the Bridge created ones. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

2 things to look for...
1) check to make sure that you have assigned read permissions to that directory. This is not something done in Adobe software. Consult your hosting provider for assistance.
2) check to make sure you do not have odd characters in your image filenames and descriptions used in the gallery. I recall the gallery function fell apart on previous versions if you had '&' in the filename or title/description because Adobe's script/function neglected to escape odd characters in the XML. I have not tried this in CS4; maybe it was fixed.

Web Gallery from iPhoto

Is anyone having the problem of creating a web gallery from an Event in iPhoto but not getting a picture for that gallery and inability to scroll through images in gallery? When I click on the gallery I get all the images, I am just not getting the one image to represent each gallery. I am publishing a web gallery from an iPhoto event and getting a gray image with a lock in the right lower corner. Why am I not getting a photo from the album, one that you can scroll like I am suppose to? Please help.

In the tab "web gallery" in the iPhoto preferences I can see the title of all three albums. In fact, I tell it to check for new photos, and for few second you can see them reappear in the organizer bar on the left, with the circling wheel like it is being synchronized, but they disappear fast, and forever gone!!. Again, I can see in the copy of iDisk in my desktop that the galleries are there, and in the .mac website, I can see them. But not in iPhoto.

Not able to create web gallery due to .Mac account settings not configured

Hi all,
I have been trying to contact Apple support with the below question twice but have not received a reply. Perhaps someone can help.
I have subscribed for the .Mac trial and I am trying to create a web gallery from iPhoto.
1.) I have selected an event.
2.) I click the plus sign in the bottom left hand corner of the iPhoto page.
3.) I then choose web gallery
4.) I then get a pop up message saying that my .Mac account has not been configures correctly and that i need to go to preferences to rectify the problem.
5.) when I click 'open .Mac preferences' I am asked to login to .Mac ( this seems strange as I am already logged in).
6.) when I log in the login keychain pops up, when I enter my password it tells me the password is incorrect (error -128)
So I seem to have multiple problems which seem to prevent me from creating a web gallery. I have no idea why my .Mac account is not set up correctly as the system did not ask me to set the settings when I created the trial account.
Can anyone help ?

I can login to mac.com that is not the problem i think because i can login to.mac read my e-mail etc. For the charges, this is a free 60 day trial account I am working with so there should not be any charges right ?
The first problem is that my mac account does not seem to be configured correctly ( as i said i dont know what i need to change)
The 2nd part is that my 'login keychain' password does not seem to work. Is it an option just to delete the 'login keychain' ?

How do I find images in LR 2.4 (imported from CS4 Bridge) that have color labels already assigned In CS4 Bridge? I have set both Bridge and LR color labels text to match (eg Green for green, etc).

How do you find images in LR 2.4 that have been imported from CS4 Bridge and have been assigned a color label in Bridge? I have set both LR 2.4 and my CS4 Bridge to match the text for each color to be the same (eg. Green for green, etc), and the filter search in LR 2.4 shows that a label has been assigned, but I am unable to identify and locate the specific images in LR 2.4 that have had a color label assigned from CS4 Bridge. I have tried to search via attribute, metadata, text, etc...Is it necessary to re-assign color labels all over again, image by image, in LR 2.4, or is there a way to automatically have the color labels assigned in CS4 Bridge be assigned and searchable to the images after they have been imported into the LR 2.4 catalogue from the Bridge program?

I closed both programs and re-imported photos and re-tried the action of having LR read the XMP metadata from the CS4 files, and it seems to work now just fine...don't know why now and not before, but thanks much. Is there a way to have LR do this automatically upon import of images from CS4? I tried to do this with an import metadata preset, but no luck. It seems as if I can only do this once the images have already been imported into LR, and then to have to have LR read the metadata from the CS4 Bridge files. thanks gain.

Create web service from java class in Jdeveloper 11g

I have very simple java class which I want to expose as a web service. I am using the Jdeveloper's in-built wizard to "Creat Web Service" from a java class. While doing so when I am selecting a method to be exposed as a web service, I get a error pop-up which says "Failed to load system class."
I am not able to understand the reson for this error. I tried to do this with a very simple java code too but still no luck!!
Here is the code:
