By mistake i just unistall ms office 2010 from install/uninstall kindly help me

Hello,
my self manan patel
i have bought new laptop on january ( Intel 2nd Gen Core i5 i5-2410M / 2.3 GHz )
by mistake i have uninstalled microsoft office 2010
kindly help me that how can i activate again...
looking for help...
thanks in advance

your MS office must be a starter edition which is a promo pack by Microsoft. there is no re-installation allowed for this pack, its one time install only and for test and experiance. if you like it, you need to buy full version from Microsoft.com.
if you purchased full MSoffice with machine(its written on the box if its full or starter only); you get the option to re-install it using media shipped with computer. try visiting HP recovery manager and select application installation. if you have full version, possiblity of option available there to re-install it again.

WW

  • Unistalling Trial Office 2010 Pro - Will this impact activated version of Office 2010 Home & Student

I am running W7.  There is an expired Trial Version of Office 2010 Professional on this PC.  There is also an ACTIVATED license of Office 2010 Home & Student.  If I open Word, select Help, and click the "Unistall" option, I
get a message that says each component is going to be removed.  I have gone to the Control Panel, selected Change for H&S, did the Remove/Add option, and marked Access, Outlook & Publisher as "NOT" in the drop downs.  Though
I would like to remove the Professional Trial version, NOT at the risk of losing the H&S activated copy.  This is a new position, and I am not able to locate (yet) the PC's documentation (including supporting docs for all software applications,
etc.)  I need to be certain removal of the Trial will not impact the H&S version.  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

    Hi,
There is a risk in your scenario, different versions of Office have some common files and components, once uninstalling the trial version, it may impact your Home & Student version.
But per my knowledge, a repair of Office will fix the possible issues quickly, and this shouldn't impact the activation status either.

  • Office 2010 from pc to mac? possible?

Ok so i have been a windows user for years, i recently decided to purchase a mac. so far so good but i was wondering if its possible to transfer the microsoft office 2010 license to my mac without having to purchase the software again. I wont be using office on the pc anymore. and even if i do i have 2 licenses.
i called microsoft but their only answer is basically to purchase office for mac.(i expected this answer since they want to make the money)
maybe someone knows how to do this. maybe its just not possible. please comment.

The response is accurate. If you want to dedicate to Mac moving forward it would not hurt to call MSoft and ask if you can "surrender" your Windows version and pay (or for free) get a Mac Copy. Sometimes they are very friendly at these companies. This worked with Adobe for me when move Acrobat Pro from Win to Mac.
I am very spoiled with Office at my age unfortunately so the open source programs simply don't appeal to me. I pray for the day that Apple's offering of Pages, Keynote, and Numbers are so fluid I can dump M$ yet still waiting for that.

  • Office 2010 from template

Just downloaded the eval version of 9.0.1 to try it out.
I figured I'd start with something easy, from a Template. Office 2010 seemed like a good candidate.
I installed Office 2010 on a clean machine, then generated the virtual app using the template.
But when I launch the .exe (even on the same machine where I created it), I get "Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 - The application was unable to load a required component: MSVCR90.DLL. Please contact the publisher of this application for more information."
    Any ideas?

  • "An Office 2003 installation on your computer is corrupted and setup cannot continue" error on Office 2010 Pro install

I am currently trying to install Office 2010 Pro Plus onto my machine that has Access 97 and Access 2003, Visio 2003, Excel 2003, PowerPoint 2003, and Word 2003 installed. I need to keep the previous versions of Office installed as they are used for development
work. When I try installing Office 2010 I've stopped with the following error message: "An Office installation on your computer is corrupted and setup cannot continue. Remove or repair the Office 2003 product and re-run setup." I can't remove and
repair doesn't seem to do anything. Most posts suggest removing previous office versions or deleting/altering the MS Office registry keys (which would damage the previous versions of Office). Is there a solution to install Office 2010 independently of any
    other version of Office installed?

I figured out a method to finally install Office 2010 bypassing the error stated in the title, by manually removing all the keys that included the term "Office 2003" from the Windows registry.
I share my fix with more details and pictures step by step here :
    Link
Please note that you need to be very careful when manually editing the Windows registry as it may cause problems to your operating system and even cause a massive failure requiring you to re-format your disk.
Feel free to use my fix at your own risk. I will not be held responsible for any damage caused or data loss.

You can view if SCP is still registered in your AD Forest/Domain using ADSI Edit or LDP. Connect to the configuration container in ADSI Edit and navigate the following nodes: CN=Configuration [server name], CN=Services, CN=RightsManagementServices, CN=SCP.
If it is still registered, use DScpRegister.exe tool included in the RMS Administration Toolkit to remove it.

but now the question remains is there a way to install outlook without reinstalling the total package of office?

    Hi,
to modify an existing installation (e.g. to change a feature state from "Absent" to "Local/Installed"),
    you can do this several ways;
    a) create a customization MSPfile (with OCT) and deploy that:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc179141(v=office.14).aspx
    b) create a customization XMLfile and deploy that:
     http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc179195(v=office.14).aspx#ElementOptionState http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc178956(v=office.14).aspx#BKMK_modify
    c) uninstall and reinstall Office

  • Trying to install office 2010 from a disc,

Office 2010 is for Windows Not Mac. No wonder you are having problems installing it. you are using the wrong OS or the wrong version of Office. You need Office 2011 Mac.

  • Essbase Excel Addin on 64 Bit Windows 7 and 64 bit Office 2010

    Hi Everyone,
I have installed 11.1.2.2 on server with Essbase and Shared Services.
Now, on the client I have 64 bit Windows 7 and 64 bit office 2010.
I tried installing Excel Addin client only (without Essbase client) and restarted machine after install.
After install Addin didnt come up automatically and i tried to manually set the add-in, I'm getting an error "This is not a valid add-in"
Is it because i am using 64 bit of office and have to go back to 32 bit.
Isnt 64 bit supported for latest 11.1.2.2 Essbase ?
Any ideas or experience in this regard will be helpful to me as our company is going for Windows 7 and Office 2010 across the business users and if 64 bit Office is not supported or has issues i would have to suggest them to go with 32 bit Office 2010.

  • How can i use MS Word 2013 Templete in MS office 2010

I have a situation where I have to able to give the Word templete  to the customer who is using MS Office  2010 as well as 2013.
Now i have created a word templete (added schema reference from xml Mapping menu) using  MS office 2013.When i try to do changes on word document in MS 2010.It is not finding  the schema reference.
    Note :
Just downgraded our Office suite from 2013 to 2010 on our terminal server to find out that I cannot make changes to the default templates in the 2010 version because it’s an older word doc and it wont save the
content controls, when I make a change and save it. It wants to upgrade to a .docx each time and this app doesn’t seem to look for the .docx
Can any one suggestion me why word templete not having schema reference if I open the doc in Ms office 2010.
And How can i make it work with both in Ms office  2010 & 2013.
    Thanks,

To get the best answer to your question, I recommend you follow Ms. Meister's advice and post your question(s) on this in the
Word Answers forum. More people will see it. If you do this, please put a link in this thread to the new question.
Word 2013 documents work fine in Word 2010, 2007, and 2003, for that matter. Word 2013-specific features do not work in those earlier versions.
You may find the tools provided by Graham Mayor and Greg Maxey helpful. They provide for linked content controls that work in Word 2007-2013.
Content Control/Variable/Bookmark and Document Property Tools
There is a version especially for Word 2013 but I don't think it's documents will be backward-compatible either.

  • Problem uninstalling Office 2010

My company is currently using Office 2010 ProPlus via O365 subscription.  We are preparing to update to Office 2013 and I am trying to create a script that will uninstall Office & Lync 2010 and install Office 2013.
I'm having trouble finding a way to uninstall Office 2010 from a script.
I've tried to follow the instructions I found here, but when I run the command:
    setup.exe /uninstall ProPlus /config uninstallconfig.xml
    I get an error:
The product installation has been corrupted.  Run setup again from the CD, DVD, or other original installation source.
The install source I'm using is a shared folder on our network, which is the same location Office 2010 was installed from.
I've tried using both /uninstall ProPlus and /uninstall ProPlusSub as I'm not sure which one is correct.  I get the same error both ways.
    Any suggestions?

Just like the error says that your installation has been corrupted. I would suggest you to use Microsoft Fix It tool to remove Office 2010:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971179
Or you might repair Office 2010 first, then try to use /uninstall command again.
For the command, please check whether you have typed the correct ProductID. For more details about
    /uninstall, please refer to:

  • Project Professional 2013 Installations Fails with Office 2010 installed on Windows 7 x86

When attempting to install Project Professional 2013 Pro (x86) on Windows Professional x86 PC that has Office 2010 ProSp2 installed client getting an error message at the end of the installation "Project 2013 has encountered an error during setup".
I have gotten the installer to work on x64 PC with Office 2010 installed. (Something worth noting that even thought I set the reboot to prompt its automatically reboots without warning but, appears to be working.)  I also tried using the OTC, custom XML
file and just running setup.exe and get the error no matter what. When looking in the logs I there are MSI installer error with an error: Product:
Microsoft Project Professional 2013 - Update '{A6FFA77F-C1C1-43D3-A2C7-6A5B68138D9F}' could not be installed. Error code 1603. Windows Installer can create logs to help troubleshoot issues with installing software packages. Use the following link for
instructions on turning on logging support: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=23127
Without having to uninstall Office 2010 what do I need to modify in the installer to get it to Project 2013 Pro to install on the x86 machine?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Your environment will support 32 bit of Project professional 2013 (x86) as you have Windows and Office of (X86).
You try to modify registry then you wont face issue.
The issue when you hit a "1653" is that Windows
Installer "DisableRollback" is set. Office 2013 requires that "rollback" be enabled. If you are getting a "1653"
error in your logs as Ken did then the solution is to delete the "DisableRollback" (or set to '0') at the following registry keys:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer
these are the issues I've seen:
Scheduler service was stopped. At a cmd window typing "net start schedule" resolves the problem.
CMD.exe was customized via the following registry key. Solution was to temporarily disable the customization by changing autorun value to autorun_old.
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Command Processor
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Command Processor
Permission issues - seems some custom permissions affected Ingram's install which he explained in his previous post.
Environment variable "ComSpec" had been modified (semicolon added). Fix was to remove the added semicolon (there should be no semicolon).
The way to identify you are hitting this specific issue is if in the %temp%\OfficeSetup.log there is a mention of "Office64MUI.msi" failing to install with return value of 1603
If you want to enable verbose logging via the following key, rerun your failed install, and collect all the setup and MSI* logs that will give more information.
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer]
    "logging"= "voicewarmup"
