By what ways the upper company can control the business of lower company?

Hi,dear gurus
It is a multi-organizational company.   the headerquater want to take the strict and aslo flexible control over lower companies such as subsidiaries,branches.
I need the control of three areas including  master data, business workflow and the  elements of business workflow.
First,take the customer information for example:
customer information: 1: the headerquater define basis information of customer and assign them to all lower companies. how to do it?
2: at branch A company, only the purchasing info of the customer master data is allowed to update. how to fullfil this kind of control?
About sales workflow.  I want to all subsidiaries company (not branches companies) create the invoice based on the sales order.  how to  define it at the headquarter and assign them to subsidiaries ? and what to do to prevent this workflow from being updated by subsidiaries,you know,there are more 50 subsidiaries companies.
As of elements of business workflow. I want to define such as the delivery tolerance(or other elements) for all lower companies who have to take account into delivery tolerance when processing sales order. So the headquarter can update the value of any those elements and apply them to lower-company  without extra monitoring and checking  because of  the strict control fullfilled by software.
So,in summary,I need to implement the strict and flexible control over lower companies from virious perspective such as master date,busiess flow and the detailed elements in buiness flow and etc.  
How to do it .   Please give me so ideas or clues .

Dear Humility,
This is, in general, a basic requirement-type for all the Multi-level structured Organizations.
These kinda control, are basically defined and achieved via various Profiles for Roles, for different transaction-types, based upon Authorization Data and Profile (i.e. Sales Area, Doc. types and Activities etc.).
Based upon the Business requirement, you may create specific Roles (with the help of BASIS, in T. Code: PFCG).
Once created, the same will be assigned in to User-Profile (individual or Group) in T. Code: SU01.
While, maintaining Roles, Basis will restrict Auth. Data, for various Modules (in your case, Sales and Distribution). as per requirement.

    I've found over the past day that its presence comes and goes, presumably based on background apps.

  • Is there a way I can control the resolution of the photos I transfer to the iPad?

    Is there a way I can control the resolution of the photos I transfer to the New iPad? I just received the new iPad and would like to reduce the size of the resolution of the pictures I am transferring.
    I have storage capacity issue and I am only able to transfer about half the number of pictures I had on original Ipad with the same storage capacity. I upgraded to the New Ipad and I am transferring all the pictures I had in the original Ipad. I do not know why they are not all transfering since the New Ipad got full before all the pictutres where transfered. I used Itunes to transfer the pictures I have in Iphoto .  I assume this is because the New Ipad has a higher resolution screen and is allowing the pictures to be transfered automatically to the New Ipad at a higher resolution than the original Ipad?
    Any thoughts?

    What you as is difficult without knowing your exact circumstances, i.e. what format pictures are you sending, do you shoot in .jpg or shoot in RAW and convert to .jpg, etc.  However, I don't see a way to quickly reduce the size of your image files without reprocessing your files in some manner.
    You could export all of the images to be loaded onto your iPad in JPEG format using Lightroom or Aperture and greatly lower the quality setting in the .jpg export.  If you do this make sure you export to a new folder. Lowering the quality can have a huge impact on the size of the image files.  If this worked it would give you the advantage of still having the largest amount of pixels allowable on the iPad 3.  I found that on my iPad 2 I could 'get away' with setting the quality to around 50 without seeing any obvious changes.  A higher quality setting may or may not be required on the iPad 3, time will tell and as my iPad 3 is going back I've not taken the time to put more than a few sample (800 or so) images on it.  They were exported at a quality setting of 60 and look as well as can be expected considering my defective iPad 3 display.
    If you images are already exported at a lower quality setting and are still too large the next step would be to reduce the dimensions of the image.  Lightroom has this capability.  I don't know about Aperture, but I assume it does.
    My normal workflow with my 7D:
    Take picture in RAW.
    Transfer to Lightroom 4 converting the Canon RAW files to Adobe's DNG format.
    Process images in Lightroom.  If any need further processing then export to Photoshop and/or Nik plug-ins.
    Export processed images that I wish to have on my iPad to my Pictures folder in .jpg format using a quality setting of 60.  I do not reduce the dimension of the image as I want the maximum sized images my iPad will allow.  As I only transfer a couple of thousand size is not an issue.
    Use iTunes to Sync photos to iPad.
    As was mentioned by a previous poster you could use Photoshop to bulk process the photos but that requires both Photoshop and a knowledge of creating a bulk action.  Not hard, but very confusing if you haven't used both Photoshop and the bulk process before.
    There may be other methods that could work for you but I am not aware of them.  With the breadth of experience of the members of this forum perhaps someone else could chime in with suggestions.

  • What is that mysterious "X" in the upper right corner of the Viewer?

    I am new to Final Cut Express, and have a couple of questions that I have not yet seen addressed anywhere.
    First, I am encountering an "X" within a white circle (more or less) in the upper right corner of the Viewer at various points during playback. It does not seem to correspond to anything in particular, as far as I can tell. I have checked the documentation, but there is no mention of it (that I can find); similarly, it does not seem to have come up in any of the discussions, or in anything else I've found online.
    My second question requires a preface: The particular file I am working with is one that I have had to extract from a DVD in Toast and export as a QuickTime file in order to work with in Final Cut Express. Initially, I exported the file with uncompressed video; I got really smooth playback in FCE's viewer, but discovered (insert sound of slapping forhead here) that the QuickTime file I had created was about 125 GB (the video is just under an hour long). Since that clearly was not going to be a viable proposition for long, I went back and tried exported from Toast using H.264 and then MPEG-4. Both resulted in much more reasonably sized files, but playback in FCE is not terribly smooth.
    So, the second question is: What are good settings to use when exporting as a QuickTime file? I'm basically looking for minimal to no loss in video quality, reasonable file size, and smoother playback in the FCE viewer. I realize that this is partly going to be a matter of opinion; I would just like to know what folks with more experience in this area think.

    The reason I'm exporting in the first place is that a friend of mine wants me to fiddle with the rough cut of his video project a bit, and burn the results back onto DVD. (I think he thinks I can do more than I actually know how to at this point, but I figure that playing around with it is a good way to familiarize myself with the application.)

    My Sun one is 6.1 sp3 on Windows 2003 SE, and I am try to use the ACL file to control the access.
    My ACL file is below:

    Once I add the "deny", anyone include my site is decline for vist the path specify in the ACL file. But if remove the "deny", everyone include other one's website can access the file.

    I think you've misunderstood what the dns attribute is for. The dns attribute returns the hostname of the client accessing your website, not the hostname of the website that linked to your website.
    For example, when someone using the Comcast ISP goes to a malicious website at example.com that loads images from your website at www.amigoo.net, the dns attribute will be something like "c-1-2-3-4.ca.comcast.net", not "example.com". ACLs are used for authentication and authorization of clients (not the websites those clients chose to visit), and they don't provide the functionality you're looking for.
    If I understand correctly, you want to prevent websites other than amigoo.net from linking to files in your d:/webserver/imat/pics_upload directory. You can achieve this adding the following lines to your obj.conf configuration file:
    <Object ppath="d:/webserver/imat/pics_upload/*">
    <Client referer="*~*amigoo.net">
    PathCheck fn="deny-existence"
    </Client>
    </Object>

That way you should forget completely where your pictures are stored.     The PCI/PXI/FW 7344 high precision controller can be used to control both steppers and servo motors. The older PC Step controllers are made for stepper only control. The difference in the two control types is with stepper control, the controller outputs two digital signals that control the step and direction of the motor. The drive uses these digital signals to energize the stepper phases and commutate the motor. In a servo system, the controller outputs a -10 to 10 Volt analog signal that the drive then uses to output the appropriate current to the motor which is proportional to torque.

    (1)    Adobe Type Manager (ATM) is not compatible with any version of Windows beyond Windows XP (32-bit, only). Attempting to install ATM on any newer version of Windows may actually disable Window's capability of rendering Type 1 and OpenType CFF fonts, requiring a reinstallation of Windows.
    (2)    There is no need to use ATM to install any fonts under Windows.
    (3)    The file name ._DIN-bold is indicative of a MacOS font. These fonts cannot be installed on Windows systems.

    Try Restoring it in iTunes. If that does not work you will probably need to get it serviced.

    1. Press the F2 key couple of times.
    2. Reset PRAM.  http://support.apple.com/kb/PH4405
    3. Reset SMC.     http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
        Choose the method for:
        "Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
    If this does not help, contact Apple.

    I posted the same issue.
    I upgraded FCE 3 to FCE 3.5 on Mac 10.4.6
    At first I had nothing: every attempt at capturing resulted in shutting down of FCE.
    After upgrading to QT 7.1.1 I now have device control but the capture proces is aborted as there seems to be "no video" (miniDV deck)
    Everything is normal with iMovie 6
