Bypassing validation during creation of node

Hi All,
I have a real time field validation , which checks if a certain field is blank and if yes it throws an error. Now while creating a new node, it is not allowing me to create the node and throwing the same error. As no way we can fill up that custom field during node creation, can we somehow bypass this validation during node creation , at the same time it should throw the error as usual at any time we save the node record afterwards keeping this field value as blank.

Once the Goods Receipt is received, we do the (SO) DELIVERYu2014SERIAL NUMBER ASSIGNMENT Post Goods Issue
Issue:
Current Serial Number Profile Management does not do a valid serial number check during DELIVERY CREATION where we do a SERIAL NUMBER ASSIGNMENT.
Only during POST GOODS ISSUE, the check happens for valid serial numbers; this is too late in the game for business as there is a time lag of 3 days from the DELIVERY CREATION and PGI.
Reason being--- We donu2019t check the following u201C Existing Stock Checku201D( which does a serial number validation during delivery creation as well)
SPRO>Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>Technical Objects>Serial Number Management>Define Serial Number Profiles
If we check this option, the business requirement to do a valid serial number check does happen during delivery creation, however we cannot create new serial numbers during Purchase Order- GOODS RECEIPT.
QUESTION:
Can we have the system check the valid serial numbers from stock during delivery creation and serial number assignment.
And Also create new serial numbers during Purchase Order- Goods Receipt.

1.In std SAP its not possible to check the serail number during Delivery creation, through enhancement it can be done.
2.During GR for PO serial numbers can be created.

Validations during PO Creation/Change

Hi I want to do three validations during PO Creation/Change
1) After entering each item Quantity,a custom validation should be done
2) When Save Button is pressed in PO, custom values should get updated in custom table.
3) During save a validation is required.
So can anyone let me know,how this can be dealt with like with which user-exits / badi.

Hello Sajid,
Your requirements can be achieved by the BADI ME_PURCHDOC_POSTED as this BADI is called after user presses the save button.
Now if you want to check quantity after the quantity is entered and before the save button is pressed then you can use BADI ME_PO_PRICING use method PROCESS_KOMP and parameter IM_EKPO.

Please note i am doing the clonning from production to test server.
Production Server -
1. Run the adpreclone.pl on the apps & db tier.
2. run the autoconfig on the apps and db tier.
3. shut down the production instance.
4. Moved the files and started the clonning process on the db tier i am getting the below issue.

Check alert<SID>.log file for more details about the error.
It looks like that the source database was not cleanly shutdown before copying the files to the target node. Please do the following and check then:
SQL> connect / as sysdba
SQL> startup mount;
SQL> recover database using backup controlfile until cancel;
-- type CANCEL
SQL> alter database open resetlogs; If the above does not help, then shutdown the source database normally (make sure it is down), re-copy the files and start the cloning process again.

Another tax determination code being picked up along with right tax determination code during creation of BBP

Hi Experts,
There is an issue I am facing while creating BBP, the slices in table DFKKMOP are having another tax determination code being picked up along with the right tax detemination code.
E.g. -> In EK02 for the BBP I have configured tax determination code ZA for main 0051 and sub 0050 for all the company codes, but it is also picking ZX which I have configured for main 100 - sub 202,203 , main - 200 sub 202,203 , main 300- sub 202,203.
Strangely In the table DFKKMOP the tax determination code ZX is coming in the line which has main 0051 and sub 0050.
I dont understand why ZX is being shown in the field BB grouping - Budget Billing: Grouping Key for Tax Determination Code.
I have double checked the customizing in EK02 and I dont find this tax determination code being defined for main 0051/sub 0050, then why is it being picked up for BBP line item in table DFKKMOP.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Well the issue was during creation of BBP items in DFKKMOP the VAT corresponding to Main/Sub 100/ 3xx was being picked up and when I adapted the tax determination code there. The items was created without any split.
For the second one PA issue, well in this case the tax determination in the standard during the creation of PA invoice via EA27 is happening on the date of execution and not on the selection date or posting date. This is because in SPRO the config. of invoicing <<Define Basic Settings for Invoicing>>
has <<Date type for tax determination in Invoicing for Part. Bills.>> set to <<tax determination in invoicing based on entry date>> that is why it takes the execution date into consideration.So even when we do a posting for SOLLDAT in future to take another tax code it doesnt take that SOLLDAT instead takes todays execution date for which the new tax code is not valid.
To overcome this issue either we need to make the new tax code valid from date in past ie. before the date of execution or we need to change this parameter in customizing <<Define Basic Settings for Invoicing>> to <<tax determination in invoicing based on Posting date>>.

Conditions Types during creation of Quotation

Dear All ,
I want to know from where the condition types are fetched during creation of quotation in ME47 . These condition types are not fetched from vendor schema thats for sure . I want to know which pricing procedure is responsible for quotation creation .
My requirement is I have to create a quotation comparision sheet for my vendor and I want to know from which table I should take the values of condition types to achieve my target .

I am trying to create a Quotation in ME47 .The condition types I can find init to maintain are
P000 : Gross Price
R000 : Discount On gross
R001 : Discount Of quantity
R002 : Absolute Discount
R003 : Discount % on net
But my client requires more condition types like Packing & Forwarding ,Excise , CESS , VAT /CST , FREIGHT .
I want to know how I will enter these condition types in Quotation . After maintaining these entries only I want to compare the quotations through ME49 .
But system is not allowing me to enter these conditions

I am Kalyan,
To Maintain these conditions in Quotation, use Transaction ME47, Go to Maintain Quotation Overview Screen
Now select the Line item for which u like to add the conditions as u mentioned, choose the Item conditons Icons (Shift + F6),
Now, Select / Choose the Validity period will proceed to another screen, where we can edit the changes.
Here u can add additional Price like freight, discount etc. here. And SAVE it.

BADI/EXIT/Enhancement spot in during creation of PO to edit Vendor partner

I am looking for BADI/EXIT/Enh. spot to edit the vendor partner during creation of a PO.
Due to some business requirement we maintained multiple vendor partner( for same role like goods supplier) in the vendor master and for such cases during creation of PO it throws a pop-up to choose one of the partners. However, in some cases, I have to select a particular vendor partner based on some other field value, and suppress the pop-up. So to choose the right vendor partner I need a suitable location where I can put my program logic.

By now I am unable to test this BADI to see which data is retrieved and the moment that this happens. But the popup that you mentioned is a Z routine ?? If yes couldn't you put your logic there?

Setting default values to CUSTOMERH field during creation of ORDER?

Does anyone know of any BAdI that is called once during the ORDER creation?
I have a CUSTOMERH field that needs to be set to 'X' during creation, and the user can de-select them anything. Anyone know how this can be achieved??

this give you the Methods CHANGE_BEFORE_UPDATE and PREPARE.

MARA-GEWEI is not overtaken during creation of material from cdesk

Hi, we work in ENV SAP R3 4.71 and create material in background out from
cdesk.
Therefore we defined in the customizing of CAD Desktop that in case of
creation of material MARA-GEWEI determination type = constant and
determination parameter is "ST" for "piece"
Every other parameter works fine during creation of material ==> as soon as
we fill a weight into the corresponding fields SAP tells us a message
"ENTER the unit of weight for the net weight" ==> if you press "continue action then" SAP ends creation of material an nothing happens....
ANY ideas?
(will enter this message for sure as well into the oss....)

How to update line items if it exceeds 17 during creation of SO in va01.

Hi,
I have implemented one logic in mv45afzz for updating IO (internal order) with respect to line items during creation of SO through VA01.
It is working fine.
My problem is: For first 17th line items it is working fine , but those line items which come after 17th not working.
Please suggest.

Step 1.
Enter the guid of the current order into function module
CRM_DOC_FLOW_READ_DB.
Code:
DATA : t_doc_links TYPE crmt_doc_flow_db_wrkt,

v_guid = <guid of the order from table crmd_orderadm_h>

Step2.
Now loop through the returned table ie t_doc_links.
Records which fulfill the following criteria are
the follow up records.

roletype_a = 'VORGAENGER'.
Step:3
Now Count the records which fulfill the above creteria.
This count represent the number of followups created.

In SBWP, the nessage text is as follow.

Check each of the following :
the spelling of the table or view name.
that a view is not specified where a table is required.
that an existing table or view name exists.
Contact the database administrator if the table needs to be created or if user or application privileges are required to access the table.
Also, if attempting to access a table or view in another schema, make certain the correct schema is referenced and that access to the object is granted.

Installation error during creation of user SAPJSF

Hello,
i'm performing SOLMAN installation and the installation stops in "Import Abap" step with problem creating the SAPJSF user. Several posts regarding the same error did not helped. When the sapinst is trying to create the SAPJSF user, i notice that the DB2 service in Windows services changes from "started" to "stopped"
