C FOlders Document to be attached directly to WBS

Hi Is it possible to attach a document of C folders directly to WBS .That may mean can we have a Tab called WBS in CFI02 from where we can select the WBS and attach the document.
Thanks in advance
Rajeev

Hai Rajeev
Directly assigning the cFolders document to WBS is not possible/sure.
The other way is - if DMS is in place - we can import the document fm cFolders to DMS and then have a link of DMS document to WBS through object link.

    How do I SAVE a PDF (received as an attachment) directly to my iPhone 4S?

    If you view the attachment in the mail program, and click and hold somewhere on the pdf (I usually use the top right, don't know if it works in other places), you will get an open in button appear. If you then choose to open the pdf in Reader, it will be saved with all the Reader documents.

    A Pages (.pages) document is only viewable with Apple's Pages application on the Mac, or via Pages for iCloud beta. You should export it to either MS Word (.doc/x) or PDF. The Share menu will let you do this directly into a Mail attachment.

  • Creation of Folders/Documents in Rooms

    Hello
    Can anyone help me with the creation of Folders and Documents programmatically(at run time) in Rooms?
    Thanks
    Raj

    Thanks Detlev
    but I need to create the folder/documents programmatically.
    i.e. if my room name is ROOMNAMETESTING then inside it I need to create folders/documents in /room_structures/ROOMNAMETESTING/Documents folder.
    However I am stuck in getting the roomId from room name.
    If I have the roomId then
    IRoom room123 = roomsAPI.getRoom(roomId);
    then I can find out
    roomRID = room123.getRoomStructureRid();
    After that I need roomId for /Documents folder.
    Lets say some how I get it then its easy
    just get
    rid = RID.getRid(roomRID"/"RID_of_/Documents)
    parent = (ICollection)ResourceFactory.getInstance().getResource(rid,context);
    ICollection collection = parent.createCollection("FolderName",null);
    Can you please help me getting both the roomId for my room and then /Documents ID.
    Thanks

    It's "aspect ratio", not aspect "ration".
    It's what determines whether you have square pixels ("normal") or, if rectangular pixels, what the aspect ratio (width : length)  of that rectangle is.
    It's explained in the Help files.  I cannot go into more detail because you have neglected to provide information about your platform and exact version of Photoshop.

  • Document ordering in attachment tab

    Hi all,
    I am a bit confused about the ordering of document in attachment tab of livecycle.
    My customers ask for a chronological order of document when they add attachment from the workflow. I think the easiest way to do is use a list of document, and add new document at the end of the list whenever it is added, but LiveCycle seems to display them in very strange order.
    My scenario is:
    LCES process adds 5 documents in the attachment list. (it adds 1 document at first task, 2 at second task and the last 2 documents at the third task)
    I create following variable:
    - attachmentList: List of <document> (to store and display in attachment tab)
    - tempDocument: document (to store generated pdf here and add it into attachmentList)
    - genCounter: int (to differentiate if user generate pdf many times)
    After generate the pdf, I call a execute script similar as follow:
    =====================================================
    import java.util.List;
    import java.lang.String;
    import com.adobe.idp.Document;
    import java.io.File;
    Document doc =  patExecContext.getProcessDataDocumentValue("/process_data/@tempDocument");
    int genCounter = patExecContext.getProcessDataIntValue("/process_data/@genCounter");
    File file = new File("finalDisbursementLetter"+genCounter+".pdf");
    doc.copyToFile(file);
    Document doc1  = new Document(file, true);
    List list =  patExecContext.getProcessDataListValue("/process_data/attachmentList");
    list.add(doc1);
    =====================================================
    The order of file being added is (top to bottom):
    [1]
    GrantApplicationForm.3214.pdf
    draftDisbursementLetter1.pdf
    draftPaymentVoucher1.pdf
    finalDisbursementLetter1.pdf
    finalPaymentVoucher1.pdf
    but when I see in the attachment tab, the order is:
    [2]
    GrantApplicationFormFTS000908000017.3214.pdf
    draftDisbursementLetter1.pdf
    finalPaymentVoucher1.pdf
    finalDisbursementLetter1.pdf
    draftPaymentVoucher1.pdf
    I have tried with a custom component to list the file name, it still display correct order, i.e. as [1].
    Do I miss out any thing or can you let me know what ordering of attachments that Livecycle is using?
    Thank you,
    Anh
    P.S.
    When it first add 3 document, i still see it displays correctly. i.e.
    [3]
    GrantApplicationForm.3214.pdf
    draftDisbursementLetter1.pdf
    draftPaymentVoucher1.pdf
    But when adding 2 more documents, the ordering is very strange as [2]

    I tried to download the 5 documents and try sorting with windows, i realized that if I download 1 by 1 by the order:
    GrantApplicationForm.3214.pdf
    draftDisbursementLetter1.pdf
    finalPaymentVoucher1.pdf
    finalDisbursementLetter1.pdf
    draftPaymentVoucher1.pdf
    and sort by accessed time, I will have the order as [2].
    i.e.
    GrantApplicationFormFTS000908000017.3214.pdf (6:58:18/6:58:18/6:58:46)
    draftDisbursementLetter1.pdf (6:58:18/6:58:25/6:58:25)
    finalPaymentVoucher1.pdf    (6:58:18/6:58:28/6:58:28)
    finalDisbursementLetter1.pdf (6:58:18/6:58:30/6:58:30)
    draftPaymentVoucher1.pdf    (6:58:18/6:58:32/6:58:32)
    The timing are created/modified/accessed in order.
    I don't know why it sort by accessed time or it is just a coincident ...

  • Hot to display PDF and Word documents as an attachment in OBIEE Reports

    Hi,
    From few of Oracle threads I learnt that we can store the files in a server locaiton and read it thro a URL. What I am trying to do is, PDF or Word document will be stored in database as BLOB fields. This BLOB field needs to be come as an attachment in OBIEE Reports and by clicking that icon, it uses the local applicaiton PDF reader or a word applicaiton and open the attachment, just like how we open an attachment from a E-mail. Can you please help me with the possible methods of that. I can provide you more information incase if you need.
    Thanks
    Augesthi

    As long as you used the paper-clip Attach icon, that should be fine.
    The entire document appears to you because your Mac recognizes the document type, and displays it for you, saving you from having to mouse around and find a Reader for it. You can still use the Save icon to save a copy of only the attachment.
    To avoid problems with other email readers, be sure the checkbox [√] send windows-friendly attachments is checked.
    I addition, some email readers cannot cope with any attachments positioned at any place in the document other than at the very end. So make sure you move the cursor to the absolute end of the document before clicking "Attach".
    If all else fails, send an email that says, "attachment to follow", then send the attachment right away in a separate email, with nothing else in the body of the message. Some use the Subject abbreviation (nt) to indicate "no text", that is, no words typed in the message portion.

  • Report On folders/documents/version in CRM

    I need to develope the report using folders/documents/version in CRM created for <b>Business Partner</b>(Master data).
    This details are provided in 3 different tables and there is no reference/link to Business Partner.so how can get the report? do we have any Function Module or BAPI for the same?

    Hi,
    I think you can use the class cl_crm_documents. I use that to check if a product has a document or not, with the business object type corresponding at "bus1178".
    I hope that it will help you,

  • Sending a document as an  attachement to an email id.

    Hi,
       I have a requirement to send a PDF document as an attachment to an Email Id like [email protected] I have few doubts please can anybody clear my doubts?
    1 . What are the pre-requisites to send a mail to Yahoo or other ids?
    2. Any special configurations need i get from Basis Team?
    3. I am using Function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1.
    4. In the configuration of NACE i have given Medium as Simple mail..
    Regards,
    Sekhar.J

    Hi Sekhar,
    In order to send the mail attachment as PDF file, there is no need for any special configurations to be made.
    What you have to keep in mind is to use the FM "Convert_OTF_2_PDF" before using the FM "SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1".
    Also, with the document type while building the document data for the attachment,use the doc type as "PDF" instead of "RAW".
    In case you have any further clarifications,do let me know.
    Regards,
    Puneet Jhari.

  • Email document distribution PDF attachment conversion error

    I have configured document distribution via emai with an attachment. My DMS documents have a single PDF original attachment.
    The email transmits fine through SAPConnect, however when I open the attachment Adobe tells me the file cannot be opened, and is corrupt.
    The issue seems to be in SAPConnect conversion, converting BIN to PDF. Any suggestions on the conversion function module or sample code for a fm to do the conversion are appreciated.

    Hi,
    regarding the information with the BIN extension I would kindly ask you
    to implement the SAP note 873597.
    Further please check the following settings which helped to solve
    such issue in the past successfully:
    1. Go to transaction : FILE
    2. Select DOCUMENT_DISTRIBUTION
    3. Double click on "Syntax group definition"
    4. You will find the file length defined for "WINDOWS NT
    5. Change the length value to 70.
    6. Also for As/400 change the length to 40.

  • CRM 7.0 Billing Document from Sales Order - Direct Billing BP

    Hi Gurus
    I have configured the SAP CRM standalone system as per SAP CRM 7.0 Help on the topic of Sales Orders and Transaction related billing.
    Created a copy of Transaction TABO as my Sales Order Transaction
    Created a copy of Item Category TANB as my Sales Item Category
    Set-up Item Category Determination based on my new Trans Type & Item Category
    Defined a Billing Unit
    In Billing defined "Transaction Related Billing After Completion" with CRM Billing for Billing Relevance
    In Billing used the F2 Invoice Billing Type
    In Billing Created a copy of TAN "Standard Item" as my Billing Item Category
    In Billing linked the New Trans Type, Item Cat & Billing Item Cat together
    Created my Product with relevant Pricing Conditions
    For my BP for the Sales Order to be created against checked the "Direct Billing" Checkbox in Tx BP in Sales Area Data
    When I create a Sales Order in the Web UI i select my BP.
    At item level I select my Product and the Quantity 1.
    I save the Transaction...No Billing Document created
    I set the Transaction Status  to "In Progress" and save ...No Billing Document created
    I set the Transaction Status  to "Completed" and save ...No Billing Document created
    When I try to create a Billing Document as a follow-up Transaction I get the following error.
    Diagnosis
    No billing document could be created for one or more of the following reasons:
    The order has an error.
    The order items are not relevant for billing.
    Delivery-related billing is required for the order items, and a delivery has not yet taken place.
    The order has been rejected, therefore, no items can be billed.
    The billing due list item for the order is blocked or incomplete.
    I suspect the Order Items are not relevant for Billing.
    How do I resolve this.
    Many Thanks

    String title = request.getParameter("title");
    String staffMemberInd = request.getParameter("staffMemberInd");
    String deceasedInd = request.getParameter("deceasedInd");

    Element partEl = (Element) payload.get("payload");
    In my BPEL process I have a human task that I want to attach a document (WORD, PDF etc) to.
    My question is, how can I attach and pass a document as an input parameter to my BPEL process? and what kind of element do I need to create in the XSD file to hold the attached document?
    Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    In our application, an attachment surfaces in the middle of the lifecycle, but not from the start.
    We were using the following to accommodate the attachment as the part of the payload ...
    <xsd:element name="AttachementMimeType" type="xsd:string"/>
    <xsd:element name="AttachmentMIMEStream" type="xsd:string"/>
    Hope this helps.
