C++ library wich is similar to bounsty castle

hi all,
is there any free source C++ lib wich provides similar interfaces (API) as present in BounstyCastle in java???

As explained in the Installation Guide, some Solaris patches are required on every system that runs programs created by Studio 11. In particular, the SUNWlibC (C++ runtime library) patch is required on every computer that runs C++ programs created by Sun Studio 11.

  • Move Photo Files back in the iPhoto Library

Before a few months ago, I had not checked the "copy files into the library" (or something similar, my iPhoto is French-speaking...).
As a result, whereas my newer photo files are in the iPhoto library special folder, the older ones are not (there are plenty of them).
I have successfully moved my iPhoto Library to an external hard drive, all is well for the newer files, but how do I handle those files that are not in the library?
Ideally I would like them to be integrated in the library so I don't have to bother anymore, very much in the way iTunes can copy all files in the iTunes Library, basically.

    Migoo
In the iPhoto Library Folder/ Originals you now have alias files for these pics. You need to copy the full files into the Originals folder and overwrite the aliases that represent them.

  • Moving iTunes library from one computer to another

I am new to this list, but hope someone can help.
I had purchased quite a few songs from iTunes store and also had copied some from disks.
I saved my whole iTunes Music folder onto a portable hard drive.
I changed computers, so I deauthorized the 5 accounts I had and authorized just my one currently used computer. I thought I downloaded all the music from the portable HD to the library, but apparently not...
Now, each time I try to play something in my library, it tells me it cannot locate the file. If I browse to the connected portable HD, I can find it and play it, but it seems that nothing transferred when I thought I moved the music to my iTunes account. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Gremblay

Take a look on this article: http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/articles/comments/moving-your-itunes-library-to -a-new-hard-drive
My guess is that you just moved your iTunes folder to your new computer, and didn't consolidate the library (wich may have caused you this trouble). Maybe you should transfer your library again. Just make sure the original files are on your portable HD and don't erase them accidenatally)

  • ICloud photo library size

    Hi all,
I just have a quick question regarding iCloud photo library size.
What happens when the iCloud photo library is larger than the space on my iPhone?
My iCloud photo library size is 4gb (I am still within the free 5gb) however, the space on my phone is under 4gb.
All of my photos have been uploaded on the iCloud photo library beta for Mac/ Yosemite.
I'm aware that there are 2 options within the iCloud - Photos menu which are "Optimise iPhone Storage" or "Download and Keep originals"
Now I thought that regardless of which option you selected they would still store a local copy on your iPhone, but what happens when even the optimised versions take up more space than your phone can handle?
Sorry if I'm being a bit slow here, I'm just slightly puzzled by this one.
    Thanks

One lesser-known feature of iCloud documents (I can't speak for Photos quite yet) is that storage on your iOS devices is dynamically managed - if a document hasn't been accessed from the iOS device in a long time, it will automatically be removed if space is needed (the way RAM is managed on a Mac) - all you have on the iOS device at that point is document metadata (title, etc.). If/when you need to access it again, it'll be re-downloaded. Note that it's different on a Mac - every iCloud document is cached on your Mac - I guess the assumption is that you have the space, and that accessing documents while working offline/off the grid is more important to someone who's using a laptop.
I expect iCloud Photo Library will work similarly, if not identically: On iOS a thumbnail of everything, larger images of items that are actually opened and viewed. If available storage starts to dwindle, the higher-res versions of the least-frequently viewed items will be removed until they're called for again. On Mac, a complete cache of everything, at full resolution.

  • Slow mac after importing photo library

Hi, I have a macbook pro 2,9ghz intel core i7, 8gb ram, 1 tb harddrive (219gb free). I recently imported my old photo library, wich is quite big and now it seems my mac is slowing down... The library was kind of messy and i had some trouble organizing it so i ran the duplicator anhiliator and it found 35 GB of duplicates wich is now in the iphoto dustbin. Howver - iphoto is riunning very slow - I wonder if it is something in the way the photos are imported - the change in speed certainly happened after the import... It was previously a Picasa photo library - dont know if that matters? Does anyone now how to handle this?
    Thanks, Fritz

I'll try the wired connection tonight - I do have other devices that access photos/mp3's over my wireless network (eg. xbox360) that seem to have no difficulty with speed.
Do you think it would make any difference if I imported in smaller groups (maybe one folder/50 photos at a time) rather than trying to import my entire photo album at once (3000 photos). It might take a few days, but it is a process I could run in the background while I surf. Just curious if iPhoto cares - does it take the same amount of time to import 50 photos 20 times, versus 1000 photos in one shot...?
    thanks for the advice

Cancel means that you don't want to have iTunes wipe your
shuffle contents, thus iTunes doesn't do anything, including acknowledging its existence.
You need to choose the other answer...disconnect and reconnect, then you'll be at the point to make the correct choice.

  • Media library too big?

my media library is ~47,000 songs, in order to move my files around it takes FOREVER, itunes eats up 100% of my cpu and 99% of my ram, it can take 15 min to put songs on my ipod, and im using USB 2.0. is there a way i can tell itunes to chill out and not be so resource intensive? none of the older versions did this, so if nothing else, ill have to downgrade, and HOPE it works. thanks -kris

I suppose I expected, essentially, a "no" to my question.
To be honest, my collection isn't "unusually large". I'm just future-proofing. Rather than store everything on one drive then have to move everything later when it gets full, I'd rather separate out everything now while it's still more-or-less "manageable".
I've tried the RAID options that come with OS X, but they don't quite work for me, personally:
    - Striped RAID doesn't work for me because, frankly, I'm afraid of losing all my data if one of the drives should fail;
    - Mirrored RAID just "wastes" one of my drives (although it backs up my data)
    - Concatenated - though it gives me the space - just fills one drive up at a time and ultimately, my media is split across the three drives.
As for NAS and Drobo, which you suggested and which appear to be simply cases holding multiple drives in a RAID array…though it would be much "cleaner" on my desk (I've got about 4 daisy-chained externals behind my iMac now!), I'd have to start all over and incur the expense of buying the unit/enclosure AND the drives that go with it…not too tempting now that I've already bought my multiple externals (and cracking open the external cases to gain access to their drives for "recycling" is too risky for my taste ). I've probably already spent the same amount on the externals that one NAS/Drobo would have cost, but what can you do?
As to other workarounds: I don't have any experience in programming (and frankly don't want to take it up as a hobby just for this! ), but if someone has managed to organize their library in a similar way, perhaps they could explain how, if possible, I could accomplish what I want.

  • Installing library to a new computer

I know this is a pretty common problem. I bought a new laptop and want to take my library from my old PC to my new laptop. What is the process for this exactly? Is this possible? I know the Ipod shuffle I have is limited but do I really need to burn all 500 of my CDS

Go to the top of this page and click on the support button.
In the "Search Support" box type "Windows move itunes library" or something similar and you will get this article and several others:

  • Post Migration Assistant Issues - Library Files That Need To Be Changed/Deleted

Used migration assistant to move from late 2008 unibody to early 2011 unibody (lion to lion).  In iTunes my options under View>>Video Playback my options are all greyed out and I think I need to delete a file from the library to reset (similar to bluetooth issue where I had to delete two files so I could rename devices).  Any ideas on how to resolve this and since this is the second thing that has come up are you aware of any others that I might want to keep an eye out for?

Assuming you have an optical drive in or connected to your MBP, the easiest way to go is to do a backup of your existing iTunes library to DVDs (you may need several) .  In iTunes 9, this is done with selecting File->Library->Back Up to Disc... and following the directions.  I do not see that capability in the current iTunes, though, but if one is using Tiger, one is limited to iTunes 9.
When the discs are burned, mounting any of the discs on the MBP should cause iTunes (you may need to have it up) to ask if you want to import the files.  It goes pretty smoothly, or at least it has for me in Mt. Lion and Win-7.  It's a little involved but it does work.

  • Why can't I sync my iTunes Library from my second laptop to my iPod?

I just synced my iPod to my iTunes library on my OLD laptop and then used Home Sharing to import that content to my new laptop.
Then, I tried syncing my iTunes Library from my new laptop to my iPod and it said " This will delete all old music, videos & movies from your iPod and replace it with your iTunes Library" wich is exactly what I wanna do! So I clicked continue and it started syncing...
During the middle of the process a pop up appears and says " Your iTunes LIbrary cannot be synced to your iPod because there is not enough room on your iPod (additionaly 2.33GB required) "
But I thought it would erase my songs from my ipod ( approximately 2.40GBs) and replace it with the new ones from my library (2.33GB) ???? Why didn't it? What can I do to have my iTunes Library from my new laptop to my iPod Touch?
( I want my iPod to be able to sync anytime to my new computer because I'm getting rid of the old one.)
    Please help, thanks.

So I copied everything in the iTunes folder from my old computer
and sent it to an 8GB USB,
which I'll insert into my new computer and paste the files on to /Music/
    Will that work?

  • Missing song or songs from my library

Missing song/ songs from my library

I had a similar problem.  Enabling the icloud brought the songs back, then I noticed when adding them to a playlist that they were being downloaded from the icloud.  This is despite that the songs were already on the local drive, and icloud was not enabled when I had previously added them to the library.

  • Keeping large iTunes library organized, and automated

Two things: I like the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder, and the way iTunes organizes my media (by artist, album;movie title;tv show, season, etc.)
Downside: my media library is too big to be stored all on my internal drive (or on a single external, considering that I also want "breathing room"), so I've divided my library amongst three external drives: 1 for music, 1 for movies, 1 for tv shows.
Issue: iTunes only "defines", in preferences, one "iTunes media folder" location.
So, if I select one of the externals as the "main" media folder,  the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder tries to add all media to that one drive only (regardless of media type).  In other words, the external I called "music" would end up with music, movies, and shows.
The alternatives - which I've been doing so far - are:
    - Unchecking "copy files to iTunes media folder when adding to library" and manually organizing my media before manually importing to iTunes; or
    or
    - Regularly changing the iTunes preferences to point to the desired drive (depending on the type of media I'm adding), letting iTunes update its library file, then using the "Automatically add..." folder that is present on the referenced drive.  This method results in an "Automatically add..." folder to be present on each one of the external drives, but only the one that's on the drive being referenced to in iTunes' preferences works.  In other words, if I want to add music automatically, I have to change the preferences to point to my "music" external; if I want to add a movie then I have to change the preferences to point to my "movies" external, etc.
Question: is there a way to make the "automatically add to itunes" folder figure out the type of media being imported and have it automatically file it to the correct external drive, and still have iTunes organize the files for me?
Or is there a workaround that will accomplish the same?
In short, I want iTunes to manage/organize my library, want a functioning "Automatically add to iTunes" folder, but want my media types to be separated on to different drives.  Possible?

I suppose I expected, essentially, a "no" to my question.
To be honest, my collection isn't "unusually large". I'm just future-proofing. Rather than store everything on one drive then have to move everything later when it gets full, I'd rather separate out everything now while it's still more-or-less "manageable".

  • Cleaning out startup items

I have now had my PowerBook about 10 months. I love it. However, during that time, I have accumulated quite a few system enhancements that startup when the OS loads (e.g., FruitMenu, Textpander, Sidetrack, etc.). As a result, my system seems to be running slower.
Is there one place where I can manage all these startup apps? It appears that a good many of these are listed under System Preferences | User Accounts, but not all of them. Is there a third-party app that will manage these?

    Hi MGW,
dont know if its polite to reply like this but cant find no answer to my problem, wich is similar:
I got a lot of copies of the Extensis Suitcase app (however saying somthing like "unknown application") in the Preferences>accounts>login items pane, but cant delete them! I assume that I would need just one as much, would I?
I keep on selecting them and clicking the "-" button, but it fails to obbey... I have managed to place an alias in the folder "login items" (under library I think) and seems to work fine, but having this list in the Preferences>accounts>login items pane seems absurd to me...
Do you know a way to override this?
    Thanks!!"

As far as I know, the schema is the Active Directory component that defines all the objects and attributes that the directory service uses to store
data. The physical structure of the schema consists of the object definitions. The schema itself is stored in the directory.
