C_TADM51_70 or C_TADM51_04

I have 8 years of SAP experience and currently using Netweaver 7 . and I want prepare for certification, I have material for Netweaver 04.
Not sure which exam to take C_TADM51_70 is for Netweaver 7 for Associate - System Administration or
C_TADM51_04 for Netweaver 04,for Technology Consultant.
What is the basic different between these two exams as far as learning in concerned? Which one is easy to take for experienced sap professional without taking class?

There is no need to go for class training for any certification if u already have prior experience. If u have the material and syllabus then dig them well coz SAP ask qs frm within syllabus but they stress on basic knowledge and ur understanding.
Associate level exam is the primary level certification and ppl with 1 yr exp can appear in it.
What i suggest is you should check the syllabus and go for the certification in whose topics u r more experienced and comfortable.

C_TADM51_04 exam marking

Hi,
I am going to write C_TADM51_04 exam, I know there is partial marking and there is no negative marking.
My question - if my answer has both right answer and wrong answer too, will I get any mark for the correct one ?

Hi Al,
Yes, you heard it right regarding C_TADM51_04. it has partial marking. (but the current version C_TADM51_70 doesn't have partial marking.. it has come with a new marking style & with pass percentage 72% where as the C_TADM51_04 had 70% pass mark)
In C_TADM51_04, in a single question, if you answer for ex.. 2 wrong and 3 correct then you get the partial marking for the 3 correct ones.
You can't get it confirmed regarding the partial marking structure as SAP doesn't write it somewhere in pen and paper!
BTW Rajashekar, are you talking about C_TADM51_70? I'm sure C_TADM51_04 has partial marking

Which is the latest course material version to prepare for SAP Netweaver WAS for Oracle (C_TADM51_04) certification.Couse Material TADM 10,12 & 51.
Because I had come across 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005.... What difference does each version has?

C_TADM51_70 certification pass.

Hi,
I have got the certification scheduled in June,2011.For the C_TADM51_70 certification, what is the qualifying marks to pass the exam?
has anyone recently attempted the exam and would like to provide on this query.
I already read the details on the weightage and the number of questions (80) and the required material..

Since SAP Education is not writing about it and the policies can change any time. So don't have exact answer about it.
But I had read somewhere sometime back that the qualifying score for C_TADM51_70 is 75 %.

Pass percentage(Individual) = 70%

Will TADM10, 12 & 51 enough for C_TADM51_70 ?

I have 3 plus experience in BASIS world, Now I am preparing myself for C_TADM51_70.
I have went through TADM10, 12 & 51. As we know, This 3 TADMs are constructed based on the below TADMs.
Is we need to read all the below TADM also or (TADM10, 12 & 51) will be sufficient to clear the exam ?
•    ADM100: SAP Web AS Administration I
•    ADM102: SAP Web AS Administration II
•    ADM200: SAP Web AS Java Administration
•    ADM110: Installation SAP ECC 6.0
•    ADM325: Software Logistics
•    ADM315: Workload Analysis
•    ADM505: Database Administration Oracle I
•    ADM506: Database Administration Oracle II
For knowledge prepective we need to go all the above TADM, But for clearing the exam, Will we need all the above TADM or 100% clarity on 3 TADM (10, 12 & 51) will be enough ?

I am Rushikesh having 9 yrs experience in server, database and application administration. In my present company, I have chance to work on SAP Administration, but for that I need to prove myself by passing the SAP Administration Certification Exam. I have couple of queries as below:
1) Can I appear the exam with self study, or there is any compulsion for course or training? I am a self learner and I have some ebooks and other study material. Also have trial SAP installer and SAP environment in my office to practice.

SAP Certification C_TADM51_40 or C_TADM51_70

Dear All,
Please share you valuable thoughts,
I am in dilemma regarding which Certification exam do i need to appear,
C_TADM51_40 or C_TADM51_70 even though both are quite similar. but the exam format differs,
In C_TADM51_40 we have 120 question with two papers and must to qualify in both, where as
In C_TADM51_70 I think we have 90 question and single paper.
Which exam would be easier compare to both.

As a suggestion first complete the difficult one.So that for the next time it will so easy for the easy once.
C_TADM51_40 we have 120 question with two papers and must to qualify in both : Qualifying the both is good and also you can approve yourself.
It is only suggestion not any Decision.

SAP Exam-C_TADM51_04

Dear all,
Im interested in doing C_TADM51_04 (SAP WEBAS for Oracle) and want to know what is the difference between the Associated level and the Professional level in the exam/ certification.
Because I found that for this course also we have to follow the same book set for the professional level course. Hence what is the difference between the exams and how you evaluate level?
Also please let me know what the pass mark of this course is as well. Please let me know the details ASAP since I have to ready for the exam soon.

I gave certification in Java with Netweaver 7.0. This consist of EJBs, java and webdynpro.The qs they ask covers from the course books only.they dont ask direct questions. The qs they ask simply check ur hold on the subject.
So in my opinion:
1)Do we need to memorize the books or with the overall idea about area can we pass the exam--
if you have an overall idea its beneficial but you should go through the books atleast thrice and practice simple appl if possible.I mean u shud hv idea of each and everything that is mentioned in the course books even if u dnt hv practical exp.
2) If you are working in SAP and have some hands on exp then i dnt think there is need for training but if u dnt hv ne idea then do attend the training.
3)About the qs they basically give u a long list of choices and u have to chose the appropriate one. It can be single or multiple choice.In our case for multiple choice qs they didnt told how many to chose for eg.chose 3 or smthing like dat.It was jst given chose multiple and there were upto 9 options in some qs.So this thing made the exam a bit tough to score.Rest if you have an idea of whatever is in the course list you can easily farewell in the exam.

Individually not required to be cleared.
For example in one section you get 65 percent and in another section if you get 80 percent, you can still pass.
Therefore, you need to concentrate on overall score, once you are good in individual scores, automatically your overall score gets improved.
Make sure that you should at least go through the material religiously 5 times and understood your concepts very clear. The exam will stick to the basic fundamentals. Therefore, understanding of fundamentals must be very important.
