C++ visual runtime error!

I'm really hoping you guys have an answer for me.In the last couple of days, I have been receiving a runtime error whenever i try to affect the variables in my brushes pallette. I mean any little tweak, be it the angle of the preset or even just the size of the brush.
The only time i get this runtime error is when i go into the brushes pallette. I'm running into a deadline and I need to fix this, so any advice anyone may have as to why this might be happening would be greatly appreciated.
I have already tried reseting brush presets and tried installing a couple new ones to see if they mess up as well and they do. I'm running CS3 on Vista

Maybe this Adobe KB Article will help you?
Good luck,

  • HT1923 MS Visual Runtime error R6034

Since i-Tunes tried to download an update, I cannot get the application to run at all, even having removed the entire software library in the sequence suggested here, i.e.
    (1) i-Tunes, (2) Apple Software Update (3) Apple Mobile device support, (4) Bonjour, (5) Apple Application Support.
Any ideas or suggestions as to how to get over this mess?

    Hi,
A runtime error is a software or hardware problem that prevents a program from working correctly. Runtime errors might cause you to lose information in the file you're working on, cause errors in the file (corrupt the file) so you can't work with it, or
prevent you from using a feature. Unlike stop errors, runtime errors don't typically cause Windows or a program to stop working.
    1. I would suggest you to try the steps from the following link:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/What-is-a-runtime-error
    2. I would suggest you to run SFC scan.  SFC scan will scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.
How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
    3.  I would like to suggest you boot in Clean Boot Mode to check the issue.
How to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot a problem in Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
If the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment, we can use a 50/50 approach to quickly narrow down which entry is causing the issue.
Meanwhile, you may refer to the links below to check the issue:

  • Microsoft visual runtime error c++ library

I recently downloaded elder scrolls morrowind on the gamestop app. The game will open but when i push play Microsoft visual C++ runtime library error appears telling me that the game will close in an abnormal way. How can i fix it so that
i can play it? I have a windows 8 hp envy touchsmart laptop.

I wouldn't try "fixing it" with any kind of C++ approach.  And so I firmly believe this is not the right forum to get help for that.
It sounds like an installation issue.  Uninstall, clean up and reinstall.
If the problem persists, you can contact technical support for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind at http://www.elderscrolls.com/support/ or http://bethsoft.com

  • Adobe Reader X (10.1.1) Visual C++ Runtime error - Citrix XenApp 4.5

    Error:
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 10.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe
I work for a large government agency, and we are experiencing the above error, but we have the added complexity of Citrix (XenApp 4.5). Most of our servers run Server 2003 SP2 Enterprise.
When you log into the server's console, a PDF from a network location launches fine, however a Softgrid package which contains a link the PDF produces the error (unless you have elevated domain privileges - and then it works fine).
Using Citrix to launch the PDF via the Softgrid package or the network drive sometimes works, but randomly produces the error. Our security team will now allow us to disable Protected Mode (from our last test, disabling Protected Mode resolved the issue).
A Procmon log of a failure to launch shows AcroRd32.exe producing an Insufficient Resources error to an IPC share on all our DFS Namspace servers. After that Reader seems to terminate.

    Hi,
Can you please let me know the following information:
    1) Is the issue exist for previous versions of Reader as well (like Reader X, Reader 9)
    2) Does your organization also use XenApp 5 or XenApp6? If yes, can you please try to reproduce the issue for the clients of those servers.
    3) Please try out the following :
-- Launch Reader10.1, Goto Edit->Preferences -> General . Un-select the option 'Enable Protected Mode at startup' and close Reader.
-- Open the PDF file which was throwing Visual Runtime error and see if the error still persists.
-- After the observation please launch Reader again and goto Edit->Preferences -> General and now select 'Enable Protected Mode at Startup' and close Reader.
(Reader should always be kept at Protected Mode as it is much more secured)
    Thanks,
    Shakti

  • Can't fix runtime error

I'm getting the Visual Runtime error described in the Adobe support section, but none of their DLA stuff applies to me and I'm quite certain I don't have any other programs running that should interfere with it. I have Pro Tools installed, along with a control panel for the audio card it needs, but those and my ATI settings are the only things running when I try to launch it. Any suggestions?
I'm using Windows XP SP2 on a custom-built PC with 1.75 GB RAM and a Athlon 64X2 at 2.4 GHz.

One solution to the C++ Runtime bug is plugin related.
Whenever I see this, I also get a crash to desktop.
However, I stumbled across the solution almost by accident:
Launch Premiere Pro CS3, and the runtime error happens when it hits - for the first time or during a rescan of the folder - certain VST Audio Plugins.
Kontakt 2, Kontakt 2 16-Out, Kontakt 2 8-Out are all guaranteed to trigger this error.
The solution is to keep relaunching until it succeeds - which it will, eventually.
It is the default loading of VST Audio Plugins that seems to cause this as part of the "Media Layer" or whatever it is.

  • The latest update has resulted in a runtime error (R6034) and I keep being told Microsoft Visual C   Runtime Library is being accessed incorrectly.  Anyone know how to overcome the problem?  I am using a Dell Inspiron  9400 running Vista.

The latest update to itunes has resulted in a whole series of runtime errors (R6034).  Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library states it is being accessed incorrectly.  I am also told that Apple Mobile Device Failed to Start.  Additional messages suggest the error is in itunes.exe and ituneshelper.exe.  I also get Error 7 (Windows error 1114).  Anyone got any ideas how to overcome this (these) problems?

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

  • Runtime Error - Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Each time I login to my Windows Server 2012 machine, after few minutes I keep getting the Runtime Error, even if I close the dialog box, it keeps repeating for 3-4 times.
    Below is the error description
    Runtime Error!
    Program: C:\Windows\system32\wbem\wmiprvse.exe

    Can somebody help on this?
    Thanks,
    Vishwanath

    Hi Vishwanath,
Based on my research, this issue could be caused by missing or corrupt system files, please try to run the "sfc /scannow" without the quotes in cmd to fix it.
If this can not work, please also check this forum to fix:
