C1-01 Alarm Clock Settings

No matter how I try I'm unable to change the alarm clock settings.  I input the snooze time I want, i.e. 20 mins and change the alarm tone, set the time and save.  However, it just keeps defaulting to a 10 min snooze and a standard tone.  Please can you help me to stop this default?  Many thanks.

Set up a playlist, go to the alarm and select that playlist as the alert. I'm not sure on this though, i've never used a 3rd Gen iPod.

Additionally, copy / cut / paste would be nice.
It's one thing I really miss from any other phone i've had in the last 5 years (Palm Treo, Sony Ericsson, Morotola, Blackberry).

  • N82: Clock settings not saved!?!

Just got an n82, and I found that the clock settings that I entered the first time when starting the phone are not saved. Every time I turn on the phone I am asked to enter time and date again, which is quite annoying. A consequence is that the alarm does not work either. Any idea on what to do?

The phone itself might be new, but who knows how long the battery itself has been waiting in the storehouse. So it should be checked first...

  • My alarm clock doent sound now that I have 7.0. Any body know why? how to fix it?

my alarm clock doesnt sound since I updated to 7.0 .. how do i turn up the volume so my alarm isnt silent?

I found that what worked to correct this issue on my iPhone 4S was to turn off automatic app updates. I went to Settings - iTunes & App Store - and under Automatic Downloads, switched Updates to off. My apps that were stuck in 'Waiting' immediately began downloading.
Although I would like to be able to use the automatic update feature, at least I found a fix to the 'waiting' issue for now.

  • Alarm Clock giving weird notification when using song

When using my alarm clock with the new song feature, I am getting a notification that says "Download over cellular? Additional fees may apply when downloading songs over cellular." Options are Cancel or Download. The songs I have chosen are already on my iPhone so there should be 0 reason to have to download anything. Please advise.
    Thank you,
    Andrew

Goto Settings--> General--> Cellular--> Is your cellular Data on? I turned mine off and it fixed the problem. You may also want to check Settings--> iTunes&App stores--> Use cellular Data and set to off so you don't eat up data on wifi. Some people have had big charges when left on.

  • I can't change my alarm time settings

I own a 5th generation iPod nano and I regularly use the alarm clock and it works fine until now.
When I set a new alarm and choose the exact time I want it to ring, I go back to the alarm main menu only to find out that the time I selected has changed. Every time I go back to the time settings and correct the time I want, the final saved time is different.
I already tried to reset my ipod twice, I even restored it but the issue remains.
    What should I do ?

I'm on Mac OSX version 10.5.8. Processor: 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. Memory: 4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Not sure how to check which version of flash I have but I updated it to the latest 2 nights ago. But the problem was still there prior to that. I thought updating would solve it but apparently not.

  • Alarm clock on ipad/iphone

sometimes I will open my ipad alarm clock and notice that it is showing the day of the week as the wrong day, for instance, today Sunday was highllighted instead of Tuesday, meaning my alarm clock didn't go off for work.  The calendar does show the right day, and if I restart the ipad, the alarm clock will show the right day of the week again.  Anyone know why this might be?

Something weird is going on. Close all apps on the iPad and reset the device. See of that corrects this situation.
Closing apps in iOS 7 works like this. Drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that fails, reset all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. No data will be lost but all of the device settings must be needed again.

  • Alarm clock recognizes "weekend" as Friday and Saturday

I use my Blackberry Pearl as my alarm clock because my fiance uses our traditional alarm.  I set it to be not active on the weekends but for some reason it "thinks" the weekend is Friday and Saturday.  This is a huge problem as I need to be up at 6:30am on Fridays as well!  Can someone please let me know how to adjust my settings to reflect the REAL weekend??
    Thanks!!

  • Alarm clock - inaudible

Hello. I have the IPod Nano 5g and when put the alarm for a morning jog, a problem arises.
If you choose to sound the alarm settings - a signal, the morning shows in the dynamics of just one short beep, which you can not hear.
If you choose to sound the alarm settings - playlist, the music playing in the morning not in the dynamics, playing in the headphones, which is also impossible to hear (if I did not sleep with headphones). It turns before each bedtime to remove the headphones from the socket? But it is not practical.
Is it possible to do something to music alarm clock fed to the speaker when the headphones are included? Or at least given a choice in setting the alarm sound - a signal that was a normal tone?
Maybe this can be corrected in the new firmware IPod Nano 5g?
Apologies for the Google-translator. Sincerely, Alex from Ukraine.

  • Alarm Clock Inquery

I have the iphone 3g s and I have a basic question about my alarm clock. Prior to the iphone I had a blackberry and I became accustomed to customizing alarms and phone powering off and on. Well, I know for a fact that the iphone 3g powers on if there is an alarm set to expire. When an alarm is set on my phone and I have powered it off for the night, the alarm will not expire at all whatsoever. The phone will not turn on unless I power it on manually. I also hate the fact that the phone's sound settings have to be turned all the way up for the alarm to be audible. Is this a problem of mine, or is this just the way it goes for the 3g s? I would appreciate anyone's comments.

Of course it's a bug. Pretty much anyone wants their system sounds off when sleeping, however, for the alarm to sound if set. It's how alarms work with Android and Windows Mobile. They got it right by having alarms sound even if the vibrate switch is active, however, they got it wrong by having the alarm volume tied in with the ringer volume. It's nice for you that you're fine with it, however, it's not as it should be Thanks for stopping by though...
Please show me the market research that shows that "anyone" has an opinion for this matter. My suggestion would be that if this is important to you, eBay your iPhone, and buy an Android. This is ridiculous. I've been watching this board for 2 years. You're the first, so please, enjoy your day with a missing feature that nobody cares about.

  • Alarm Clock Problem

My alarm clock used to work correctly, but within the last two weeks, the only way to get it to turn off is to snooze it, turn off the phone, turn the phone back on, and then turn off the alarm (in the edit options of the alarm settings). The slide to the right option (to turn off the alarm, not snooze it), does not work, it only slides the screen to the right and the alarm continues to go off.

    Hello, valmichele14.
Try closing all open applications in multitasking and power cycling the device.  Test to see if the unable to dismiss behavior persists.

  • After I set a repeating alarm clock to off, it goes back to on after a few seconds.

After I set a repeating alarm clock to off, it goes back to on after a few seconds. What is happening and how do I fix it? I have an iPod touch, 4th generation, iOS 5, no jailbreak whatsoever.

    Try the following:
    - A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
