(C1) Initialize POST Error Manager (PEM)

Hello,
My hardware diagnostic card gives the following error: (C1) Initialize POST Error Manager (PEM). My bios just starts well and gives no error messages.
I can go to the bios as usually and my computer works normally (at the moment), but QuickTech also gives some error messages:
- BIOS Buffer overrun check
- SMBus Host detection
Maybe that these errors also have to do with it?
When I try to search with Google I only get some manuals where these error codes are listed, but no more explanations and possible solutions.
Can somebody please tell me what this problem is all about and how to fix it?
I have a MSI 6533 bord.

Hi,
No, unfortunately not. I posted this question in a lot of different forums, but no one seems to know what's exactly wrong and how to fix it.
I keep searching, and when I find some answers / solutions, I'll post it here. Can you also please keep me informed if you know some more?

  • MSI X79-GD65(8D) gives a posting error 63 Late CPU Initialize

    Hey Guys.
I have recently purchased new hardware.
    MSI X79-GD65(8D) Motherboard
    Intel i7 3820 CPU
    4 X Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3-1600 RAM
    MSI GTX660Ti Power edition GPU
    Corsair 750W Professional series PSU
    Corsair H80 CPU Cooler
I haven't overclocked ht e mobo, but on cold boot, the mobo doesn't initialize, gives a post error 63, refered to the mobo manual, it says it means late CPU initialize. Checked the BIOS, running version 1.7 and according to MSI download site for the CPU support list.
The memory is in quad channel as it shows in a diagram in the mobo manual. If I switch the pc off, and back on, it initializes and boots, the pc runs stable, it can run 48 hours no hassle, passes burn in tests to, just the first cold boot doesn't initialize.
Any ideas for what to look at would be great.
    Thank you.

A little hint for you: Don't try any of the .1B betas as they run horrible. I had to remove the latest .1B3 as it bricked the board and had to be recovered.
1.18 B7 is still the best bios to use:

I'd suggest the later Bios 1.18 B7 which I'm also using with the i7-3820 (https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=154186.msg1192427#msg1192427)

  • GR/IR Posting Error CKMLGRIR025 - Purchase Order History Inconsistent

    Hi Everyone.
We currently have a posting in our GRIR for a Feright Condition Value against a Purchase Order which gets the above error when trying to post in MR11.
The Diagnosis of the error reads:
"The purchase order history contains differences between the goods receipt and invoice receipts/Account maintenance for the order item in the field Difference Quantitiy (= 43.804 TO) and Difference Value (= -342.77)
The purchase order history for this tiem is inconsistent"
When looking at this Freight Condition information in the Purchase Order I can not see why this item has resulted in this error in MR11.
Has anyone else seen this error come through in their system, and do you have any ideas on how to fix this.
    Thanks
    Hayley

We are experiencing the same issue with the GRIR Posting Error CKMLGRIR025 - puchase order history inconsistent.  The actual message that we receive is Puchase Order history already inconsistent -->Quantity 1.00 EA Value 0.65-USD.
We reviewed SAP Note 708649 which also recommends using transaction MIRO with the corresponding default quantity and value o.  However, we are not able to enter an Invoice for the "default qty & value 0", as SAP gives me error message M8278 "You are not allowed to have zero lines" (just like Haley commented).  In reviewing this thread, I did not find the solution to the error message M8278 "You are not allowed to have zero lines" .  Could someone help me understand?
    Thank you!

  • Can't initialize OCI error occured during the login process using TOAD 9.0

I have installed the Toad 9.0 recently while login using the username & password for oracle 10.0 database , i am getting the error
    Can't initialize OCI Error 1
But i am able to login using the Sql Plus successfully..
    Thanks in Advance.

Here's one more reason why this error occurs in Toad. It is when you have more than one Oracle Client installed on your machine. Even when you select the correct Oracle Home in "Connect Using" field of Toad, you still get this error "Can't initialize OCI. Error -1". So, to solve that you need to go to the installation folder of that Oracle Home (e.g. C:\Oracle\ora92\), then go to the BIN folder. Open Oracle.Key in Notepad and confirm that it is showing Registry entry/path to the correct Oracle Home (e.g. HOME0 or HOME1 or whatever).
    I hope this helps.

  • MR11 GR/IR Posting Error - PO History Inconsistent - error message M8278

    Dear experts,
We have the problem as described in SAP note 708649. Error CKMLGRIR025 - Purchase Order History Inconsistent
This has also been described in this thread
Re: GR/IR Posting Error CKMLGRIR025 - Purchase Order History Inconsistent
We also have the issue on posting an invoice "default qty & value 0" in MIRO, receiving error M8278 "You are not allowed to have zero lines".
However, so far we are not able to correct this eg do not know how to continue to clear the GR/IR
Any help or hints on this matter would be appreciated

    Hi,
please note that the error message M8 278 is only issued if there is
zero amount in ALL document lines.
This means that you can post MM-documents with zero lines. But only if
there are other lines with amount > 0. The reason for this system
behaviour is, that every time a MM-Invoice is posted, an FI-Document is
created. In FI-Documents it isn't allowed to have zero lines.
So if you have an MM-Document with only zero lines, the Fi-document
can't be created and the error message is issued.
I hope I could help you further
    Best regards
    Erika

  • MC DAQ initialize.vi error

    Hello,
I am trying to use  MC DAQ Initialize.vi for reading some CCP  and I have the bellow error
    -301034
    MC DAQ Initialize.vi
Error -301034 occurred at MC DAQ Initialize.vi
    Possible reason(s):
ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit:  (Hex 0xFFFB6816) The definition of the measurement could not be found in the A2L file. Most likely, the name of the measurement is misspelled or otherwise invalid, or the A2L database file has been corrupted. Solution: Make sure that the name of the measurement is spelled correctly and that the A2L database file is valid.
The a2l database is ok cause i'm using with other Vi's. Also the names of signals are copied exactly from a2l file so there is no typo error.
Does anybody encountered this issue or can somebady help with an idea?
    Thanks,
    Vincent

    Hello Vincent,
You should be able to open the A2L file with notepad.  I would suggest opening it and searching for your measurement.  If you can find it, then the name must not be a typo.  There may be something inside the measurement that our parser is having trouble with.  If you could copy the section for your measurement here, we may be able to see what is going on.  (You can use dummy values for addresses, etc when you paste the part here.)
You can also try running the M_C Explorer example that ships with the toolkit (Help-Find Examples. Hardware Input and Output -> CAN -> NI-CAN -> ECU Measurement and Calibration -> Advanced).  This example opens all the measurements and characteristics in the A2L file, so you can see which values you have access to and if they are configured properly.
I hope that helps.  Have a great day.

Posting only possible in periods 2009/09 and 2009/08 in company code 2000
    Message no. M7053
    Diagnosis
The posting date entered is not within one of the permitted posting periods (current period/previous period).
This can be due to one of two reasons:
The correct current period has not been set in the system.
For the system, the first of the entered periods is the current period. At the beginning of a new period, your systems administrator must change the current period in the material master record, using the function "Shift periods". This has not yet been done.
You have entered a wrong date in the field "Posting date".
    Procedure
Check the posting date and correct it if necessary. If your input is correct, inform your systems administrator that the "period shifting" (period-end closing) process has not yet been completed. Copied from M8022

    Hi,
The problem was due to posting period is not open for posting yet.
I believe you are trying to create PO for Oct 2009. But your posting period was open for Sept 2009 and Aug 2009.
Go to tcode MMRV to check for company code 2000, current period  09 2009, previous period 08 2009.
Go to tcode MMPV, enter the company code 2000, period 10 and fiscal year 2009, select "Check and close period" and execute.
Go to tcode MMRV to check again for company code 2000, current period should be 10 2009, previous period 09 2009.
You should be able to create a PO by now. If you still fail to do so, please contact your FI to open FI period via tcode OB52.
    Hope it helps.

  • POST errors need help

Can any one tell me what the POST error of 2 beeps pause 1 beep is realted to? The system begins to boot flashes video, video shuts off, cmos info flashes shuts off and give post error.

Use just one stick of RAM in a green slot. Reset the Bios and be sure the machine is not pluged in when you do those things.
Remove all unneeded hardware so that you don't have stuff in the box when you try to boot that is not needed to post.
Find out which Bios you have when the screen first comes up.
You need to know which CPU core you have. If it is a Clwhammer, Newcastle or Winchester then you need Bios version 3.3 If it is a San Diego, Venice or X2 then you need Bios version 9.1.
Now that you have a system with the correct Bios you can then install your RAM in slots 2 and 4. You should then get a post into dual channel mode.
Set in Bios first - Optimized Defaults. Make sure that you do not skip this step.
Now setup the Bios to match the gear in the box. No overclockinmg as yet.
Now get Windows cleanly installed with any drivers you may need.
Now you are ready to install those other items you have in your hot little hands. One at a time.
