C2-03 Device memory Problem

Sir,
I am facing very strange problems with my device.
The phone internal memory is only 7.2 MB memory. Even Nokia site shows it has 10MB memory.
out of this 7.2 MB the phone packed with 4.7 MB of default apps in "Apps and games", and Gallery contains some defaults pictures and default Nokia Ringtones and message tones of 2.0 MB data.
Also messaging App showing 417 KB of memory used.
Now my phone has only 400-600 KB memory left. And when i run the apps like. Nokia Maps, OVI Store. etc... then apps doesn't start and show message like: "Not enough device memory availabe."
I have factory restored my phone and checked the memory still full. I can't delete the games which are totally waste for me. Also there is no option to move any default apps to memory card.
Even i can't download any single software from third party sites which is large in size more than 300KB..
This phone is working like hell and i am very furstrared with it's poorely implemeted software.
I have no any single Text/MMS stored in my phone memory. but it is still showing 417KB data used in messaging.
Also when i try to apply any theme then it always shows "Please free some memory."
I'm wonderring how can i free such memory.
Please provide any option to delete (for games ) or move the apps to memory card which or not useful for everyone.

Oh yEs, he is right... haven't read his post before but did the same myself.... i had 330kb remaining...before... then i used ovi suite... backed up my phone... (took out the memory card after that, just to be on safe side ) then reinstalled the same software version as there was no update available... n then restored the data and settings... despite restoring the same data and settings i still have 2.8mb free...-Not much- but better than 330kb.... I now have 843kb of sms's 1.9mb f gallery n 3.5mb of apps...and still....2.8mb free.. great.. isn't it??

BlackBerry z10 device memory problem

I have a problem with my BlackBerry z10 device memory. Over time the so called "other data" keep growing, eating up the internal memory even though i didn't install new apps. So now i have less than 1 gb free storage and keep getting message that i should move some files to the external memory. The "other data" is now at 14.8 gb. BlackBerry 10 os don't let us see the content of this data but i know that all of the apps i installed take less than 4 gb. I wanna find the solution before i factory reset my z10. I don't like to have to install all those apps again.

MaxMem was a tool that could "free up space" in OS's 4.2 to 6.0. It hasn't been updated since sometime in 2008. There is no BB10 version.

Problems with device memory withs new apps and upgrades!

Dear all,
I'm having problems with my memory device. I have installed thes apps:
- Blackberr battery watch
- Bejewled
- Google Maps
- Level
- Ispeech translator
- Octopuzzle
- Shazam Encore
- Simcity Deluxe
- The Light flashlight
- Unit converter premium
- Vlingo
- Weather eye
- Whatsapp Messenger
And it says my 128 Mb device memory is full. How can i clean up this issue so I can continue upgrading and make my device a little more organized.

Memory problem on my e3500

Hi all,
I've a problem on this e3500 server, I had several reboot without printing anything in messages.
Now I found something, I think it's not cpu19 involved (score05 and syndrome not equal to 0x3), I suppose it's fault of 2 memory slot on board 7 or dimms. Nothing was evidencied by advanced POST.
Now the question is: How can I find the physical address of the bad dimms ( Nov 13 05:32:57 rhea SUNW,UltraSPARC-II: [ID 989652 kern.info] [AFT2] E$Data (0x10): 0x696cf36f.6e74726f Bad PSYND=0xff00) ? is possible to translate the hex code and find the J3*** number? Is there a table or a doc where I can find the answer? Why Oracle pid is involved in this case? Maybe only because that pid was unequal to parity alg?

Cannot access Device memory in Windows explorer

When I plugged my blackberry into my XP PC, I used to see the device memory and SD card in Windows Explorer. Now, only the SD card is in explorer.
In Desktop manager, I used to be able to see them both also. Move files and such. Now I don't have this option.
This is a new company blackberry that is secured (password to unlock it). Not sure if the problem occurred the same time I received my new phone....

the Curve does not allow you to access to the Device Memory using Windows Explorer and "USB Mass Storage" Mode. You can only access the memory card (aka Media Memory).
to access the Device Memory, you have to use the Media Manager. You need to download the "Desktop Manager + Media Manager" for that.

Allocate device memory at PXI 6115

Hallo,
I am using one PXI 6115 to acquire data. The acquisition is external clocked with 8 MHz. It should be triggered by an external digital trigger, and be able to read pretrigger scans.
Now I have 2 Problems:
1. The Trigger occurs only once a day or once a week. What can I do to prevent my application to run into timeout error ??
2. I want to measure about 200 ms of total time, meaning this are 1.6 million of sampling point per channel. For this reason I tried to allocate device memory, but I am getting always error messages (running in pretrigger mode; Error 10403)
Can anyone give me some hints or tips?

The PXI-6115 is capable of doing an 8MHz digitally triggered analog acquisition assuming your system requirements do not restrict the acquisition. Below are answers to your specific questions:
1. Depending on the driver you are using, you can avoid a timeout error:
NI-DAQmx: Setting the timeout limit to -1 will tell the VI to wait indefinitely.
Traditional NI-DAQ: Unfortunately, there isn't an infinite wait time for traditional DAQ VI's, but the input for the timeout limit is a single precision number, so you can make it extremely large (2^32 seconds).
2. You should be able to acquire this much data. How large of a buffer did you use, and did you allocate the memory in the system or on the card? Allocating a larger buffer may eliminate the e
rror.

Blackberry 9300 device memory

I am unable to use internet on my device because my device memory is full and pages get closed autometically while I did not download anything in device. I want to know how can I make my device memory free.

Powerbook G4 freezes on me - memory problems..?

I have just bought a new Powerbook G4 15inch as i read all sorts of varying articles on Macbook Pro's teething problems with Adobe etc so decided to go for the tried and trusted good old Powerbook.
So i got the retailer to boost it from 512mg to 2gb in the shop and after giving it a good workout (installing Illustrator, photoshop, microsoft etc) and playing with Itunes i find that it freezes on me every 15mins or so..! I'm told it could be a memory problem (maybe the 2 new 1gbs are not compatible). Or should i reinstall Tiger..?
Any advice is welcome.. help..!

No, I've not had trouble with freezes on my powerbook. I did have a little trouble clicking in the RAM on the top slot properly, both on my PB and on a friend's, but in these cases, the PB beeped three times on startup (RAM "distress signal").
It has been my understanding that system freezes are often caused by faulty hardware--RAM, a peripheral device that is misbehaving, or a more serious problem such as logic board.
Running the hardware test in extended mode would help with this.
Some people have reported that they have solved system freezes when all the hardware checks out by doing an archive/installation of their operating system, or erasing the drive and re-installing from scratch.

I also would be remiss in not pointing out that since your Powerbook is new, Apple is available to help you troubleshoot, and in case there is a serious hardware issue, making an early report is advisable.

Device Memory reduces for 9300 OS 6

My device memory reduces everyday though i clean meaasage, bowser cookies etc. I have observed two things
1. Memory reduces even i delete mails from my inbox, is it true??
2.Browser History remains in universal search even i delete from browser history from option emnu. Is it affecting the memory ??

Curve 8330 saves files to device memory

I'm an experienced BlackBerry user and currently have an 8330. I have a 4GB micro-SD installed and no matter how many times I select to "save media on memory card", after a couple days or some unknown event the device automatically reverts to the "save media in device memory" option. It seems like a software problem so I want to see if anyone else has had the issue.

Well there are no matching problems in the data base. My thought is to resend service books and refresh the options on the device. The next would be reloading your Device OS.

New Curve 9300 memory problem

I purchased a new curve 9300, it has operating system 6.0 I checked the latest OS version with desktop software and it's up to date.
Unfortunately I can't use it as it has a memory problem.
Here is a photo of the screen. I took the photo with my Storm 9530 running OS 5.0
Any help would be appreciated, if I can't solve the problem I will be returning the phone.

Have you tried a battery pull restart !
The Message Indicate that your device is out of memory , Check the File Free at Options > Device > Device and Status Informations > please check the free memory.
If you're using a Media card then be sure that media card support is turned On ,and your media are stored in your media card but not Device Memory.

Given what you describe and the remedy you have already attempted, your BB likely has a hardware-level problem that cannot be addressed at this internet distance. Only hands-on by a qualified BB technician can possibly determine what to now do. If your BB is brand new, you should go back to the seller and enforce the terms of your warranty.

If I fill the internal memory with more than approx 5gb the phone goes crazy...
(9,3Gb free)
Here are a couple of examples
* The phone becomes alot slower
* When powering up the phone stops at a white blank screen until * I press the power button again.
* When starting the music player all buttons associated with the music player(both on phone and handsfree) becomes unresponsive and the only way to stop the music is to remove the battery to turn off the phone.
Another problem that occasionally occurs even if I have more free space on my memory card is:
* When using the alarm clock there is a 33% chance that the phone will freeze when I turn it off. The only way to use the phone again is to remove the battery.
I haven't updated the phone yet because the update isn't available yet in sweden it seems.

This may be the issue, New content!:
Scanning for new content (slowness in UI)
- This is somewhat improved in 11.018 but still:
- If you've loaded many Pictures, Videos or Music, you may see the device appear to slow down or even become unresponsive. After new content has been added, it is being scanned by the device and being added to the media applications. Until that happens, the new content may not be visible in these applications (e.g. Photos and Video Center application) right away. The phone will need to find the files and create the thumbnails and other details. This information creation takes time and the processing may slow down the device. Your best option is to open Video Center and Photos and leave open in the background then check after a few minutes if the videos and pictures you loaded are already there before using your device.
The same applies if you insert a memory card with lots of content on it.
- Do Not leave the Photos or video center in background during this time.

my older phone had have everything line 30 MB internal memory, Copy paste option, youtube video
Also make sure if these features are coming in the next frequent update or not. otherwise it is good to use a dumb phone along with my old phone.

Memory Problem with SEt and GET parameter

I m doing exits. I have one exit for importing and another one for changing parameter.
SET PARAMETER exit code is ....

      set parameter id 'ZC1' field v_nbc.
    elseif im_data_new-bsart = 'NBO' or im_data_new-bsart = 'NBM' or im_data_new-bsart = 'SERO'.

and GET PARAMETER CODE IS....

FREE MEMORY ID 'ZC1'.
FREE MEMORY ID 'ZC2'.
   FREE MEMORY ID 'ZC3'.
In this code i m facing memory problem.
It is not refreshing the memory every time.
So plz give me proper solution.

Hi,
   I suppose you are trying to store some particular value in memory in one program and then retieve it in another.
If so try using EXPORT data TO MEMORY ID 'ZC1'. and IMPORT data FROM MEMORY ID 'ZC1'.
To use SET PARAMETER/GET PARAMETER the specified parameter name should be in table TPARA. Which I don't think is there in your case.
Sample Code :
Data declarations for the function codes to be transferred
DATA : v_first TYPE syucomm,
       v_second TYPE syucomm.
CONSTANTS : c_memid TYPE char10 VALUE 'ZCCBPR1'.
Move the function codes to the program varaibles
v_first = gv_bdt_fcode.
v_second = sy-ucomm.
Export the function codes to Memory ID
EXPORT v_first
       v_second TO MEMORY ID c_memid.        "ZCCBPR1 --- Here you are sending the values to memory
Then retrieve it.
Retrieve the function codes from the Memory ID
IMPORT v_first TO v_fcode_1
         v_second TO v_fcode_2
FROM MEMORY ID c_memid.                                   "ZCCBPR1
FREE MEMORY ID c_memid.                                   "ZCCBPR1
After reading the values from memory ID free them your problem should be solved.
