C2-03 Multiple SMS delete

I am very disappointed to see that we cannot Mark and delete multiple SMS as in other Series 40 phones. Very disappointed to buy this phone. It lacks basic functionality which is available in other Series 40 phones.
If i am mistaken then please someone guide me how to mark and delete multiple SMS.

Where is this <more> option by the way?? I can only see...delete messages option in the messaging menu...(without clicking at <more> that is )

X3-02 does not support multiple selected delete me...

I have call Nokia Singapore on the issues that X3-02 does not include the feature for all or multiple selective delete message receive. Imagine spam message send to your mobile phone and you have to spend time to delete one at a time. This waste user time and it should be a basic feature of a phone. i have a low end Samsung phone allow me to do this.
Nokia, please put a updated software to allow user to do:-
allow user to mark the spam soure 9 telephone number) and move message into the foder and allow the user to decide to delete it or not.
Allow user to mak and do selective deleation.
Currently, I am very unhappy of this phone as it does not has this important feature.

It take two steps to do this and it depends on the state of the phone. A simple mak and delete at last is availavle in many other phones.
One of the main concern is about sms spam block or filter, this is a important feature. Further more, this phone vibration mode is no selectable. It either on or off fot both call and sms.
Imagine a100 sms flooded will use a lot of battery and anoying.
I am a very unhappy X3-02 owner. I will not recommend anyone to buy this phone until these functions are available. I am even consider to sell it away .

C3-00 Multiple Message Deleting Problem.

Hi,
I brought the C3-00 yesterday.
The phone very nice in all respects.
The only problem is with sms deleting.
There is no mark option is given to delete multiple messages!
Why this is so?
I request Nokia to provide the answer and software update which solves this problem with wifi problem also.

Save multiple SMS

Hi everybody
Following latest update, i am now unable to select multiple SMS messages. SMS is now in a chat format and i am frustrated that i cannot slect more than one SMS to save. Previoulsy i was able to selct as many SMS as i wanted and then save or delete as i want.

Multiple message deletion functionality disappears

My iPhones 5S with iOS 8.1 loses multiple message deletion functionality. I tap a message in communication thread, chose more options, mark messages to be deleted and push waste bin. When used a few times the waste bin is replaced with camera options and deleting multiple messages is not possible; see screenshot. In order to re-establish the functionality, I have to close the message app down and restart it. Are there any solutions or work around to this?

If you are having issues with your iPhone's ability to delete multiple messages, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
OS: Force an app to close
Next, I would try restarting the iPhone -
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -

My device keeps receiving multiple sms from one specific number.

I have an Iphone 4, my device keeps receiving multiple sms from my customer in Germany. I am in India. Although he just sends it once, I keep receiving them for days. Sometimes to the tune of 600 smses a day, even night. I have to turn off my sms notifications and vibration. I tried factory reset and all other resets, but only factory reset works for some time. After reseting it everything is fine for 3-4 days and then again the multiple smses start. The same sms again and again. It is frustrating. If I travel to another network area (roaming) it stops. But if I am back in my home network and my customer sends me a sms then it starts repeating itself. Only sometimes the smses are not repeated. I am on Vodafone network and had a huge fight with them but they claim that everything is smooth on their side. It is a problem with my Iphone. If I put my sim in another Iphone4, the smses stop. Help!!

just a small doubt (actually I'm new to j2me so please excuse me if its a silly doubt)...
as for chopping and sending, it doesnt matter rite that the text is coming from a text file?

For your info - There is one command on that link that didn't work, which was the last instruction - after highlighting a list of files, to deselect one file press the Option key (earlier in the same demo he instructed to use the Command key which worked)

PcSuite and multiple SMS copy to PC

I receive several SMS from my bank concerning CC use. To check the balance sheet I would like to copy them to my pc then process the VMG files to make them excel readable. It is my understanding that when PC suite moves/copies a SMS to the Pc it assigns automatically a filename made from the first letters of the SMS itself. Since all my SMSes have basically the same format, this results in a general overwrite. At present I'm forced to copy one SMS, then rename it in Windows then repeat for all. Is there a way to move/copy multiple SMS automatically renaming them so that no overwriting occours ???

why don't you use the archiving function ? In sms view you can see message item in upper row of window, select that and select archive, you will get all you inbox sms's directly to excel

PC Suite SMS programme sends multiple SMS

Hi,
If I write an SMS using the message editor in the PC Suite message centre it multiplies the number sent as soon as I press "send message". Usually by 4. So a message sent to "Friend" will suddenly show up as "Friend", "Friend", "Friend", "Friend" the moment I press and be sent four times. A message sent to "Friend 1", "Friend 2" will be sent to "Friend 1", "Friend 1", "Friend 1", "Friend 1", "Friend 2", "Friend 2", "Friend 2", "Friend 2". This appears to happen with all contacts.
Bizarre. Anyone with any ideas?

All, as far as I can remember. I'll try an 'unknown' number not in my phone book later this evening. It's not just foreign numbers or when using a foreign operator as seemed to be the case with the Communicator user in the other thread.
* Is this happening even if you send message via phone?
No - messages entered into the phone are unaffected - it's only PC Suite messages that are affected. It appears affected at the message editor level - I'll have "Friend" listed as the recipient but as soon as I press Send the To: field will immediately jump to showing "friend, friend, friend, friend" and proceed to send the message four times.
* In case of Communication centre, is it happening with all kind of connectivity Bluetooth/IR/Cable?
I don't have IR and haven't ever got the bluetooth to work so I only use cable. I'll also have a crack at making Bluetooth work this evening & see what happens.

Mavericks Mail: Has anyone experienced multiple messages deleting on one click?

Earlier today I began to see multiple mail messages deleted in one click. At first I thought I might have been clicking too fast and was causing the problem, but I have verified that was not the case. It occured several times on message threads, but also on unique messages not related.
This is very concerning as I now have to look in the Trash to ensure I did not miss any important messages. Lots of strange behavior with the Mavericks upgrade - is a fix coming out soon?

I used to find this happening with older version of OSX after I did my usual 6 month clean, wipe, re-install and resume.
It's possible that the file which keeps a track of message downloaded from the server is corrupt. Goto ~/Library/Mail where "~" is your home folder and then delete these files

This is in ~/Library/Mail then a folder which contains your email address example "Mac-steve.jobs"
inside there should be a folder list something similar to this:
Junk.imapmbox
Sent Messages.imapmbox
INBOX.imapmbox
Drafts.imapmbox
Deleted Messages.imapmbox
Inside each of them is a folder, called "Messages" and also some files, delete the files but not the "Messages" folder.
When you reopen Mail it will be as if you opened it for the first time. See if the emails come in, if they do then it's more likely to be a setting in Mail or even possibly something that's happening at the remote email server.
In Mail Right or Control Click in the left hand panel and select "Get Info" a box will come up with a drop down selection at the top showing active email accounts, select the one you are having problems with, either a list of folders will come up or a big long list of email messages, depending on how many you have will depend on how long it takes for the list to update. Once it has, select all the emails and Select "Remove From Server" this will delete them all from the server so at least when you re-open Mail they don't all come in again.

Is there a way to mark multiple emails/contacts and delete without having to go to options and mark them one by one? My E71 used to be holding shift and select, but the 5230 has no shift button. What can I do??
