C3-00 v4.60 not able to sync to OVI
I have WIFI at home (and several other places) but not a data plan through my cell provider. In WIFI areas I've been able to set up OVI email and eventually also get the communications app to connect to my gmail account (after dozens of attempts). I can also browse the web with the Opera app and can also browse the OVI store. I would like to be able to sync my C3-00 calendar with a web based system for faster data entry and so I can share access with select others. I would prefer to use a non-proprietary system like gmail, but I have set up the OVI web based calendar since I don't seem to be able to sync to the gmail calendar. However, I am not able to sync to the OVI calendar either. After following some setup instructions I found on the Nokia/OVI web sites, when I go to Settings->Sync & backup->Sync with server->Server Sync it prompts "Synchronize data with ovi.com ovi.com? Calendar, Contacts, Notes" (yes it lists ovi.com twice) but it never works and says "Data transfer not possible. Check data connection." Can anyone please let me know how to fix this problem? Also, is it possible to sync to gmail calendar? If so, where are the instructions?
I am experiencing the same problem. What I think is happening is that the 'server sync' function always uses GPRS or Edge, instead of Wi-Fi, no matter how much convincing you try.
I have seen some postings that say you need to remove all data packet access points from the phone configuration. So far I haven't see how that's done though....

Nokia N900 not able to sync with OVI suite
I would like to know why Nokia OVI suite does not support the N900. The phone is great, but I have found that Nokia didn't really have much to do with it. There are lot of capabilities I was surprised especially when it comes to the phone portion of the device. For instance the phone does not have any voice features at all. This is surprising with such a powerhouse of a phone. Not being able to transfer files in OVI is another thing I would like to know if there are plans to fix this or am I just stuck. I must say I am very dissapointed with Nokia when it comes to this phone. I hope that there are plans to update the software to be able to do the same things lesser phones can do.

I am facing issues with my music on my iOS device. I have five devices connected to my apple id. And out of which a Windows Machine and iPhone is not able to sync the purchased songs on the the Windows machine and the iPhone. The iPhone4 shows the songs are not supported and on the Windows Machine the songs do not play completely. Can anyone advice what could have gone wrong ? Because rest of the devices are synced to MacBook and they are able to sync the content normally. I have even subscribed to iTunes Match but the problem is still not fixed.

Devices refer to iDevices... iPod... iPhone... iPad. .. Not Computers.
Authoriation applies ONLY to Computers... of which there is a Limit of 5 per Apple ID.
If the issue is with iTunes on your Windows Computer... Perhaps you need to Re-install iTunes...

I need help, my ipod touch is not being recognized by my itunes. I am not able to sync anything cause it is not found. What do i do?
If the unit has NEVER been jailbroke, first try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless... Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this. -
Since uninstalling / reinstalling iTunes I am not able to sync iPhotos with my Apple TV with the following warning message stating that this is due to a 'problem on your computer. The disk could not be read from or written to'. Please help!

I've downloaded the newest version of softwear to my iTunes libary (iOS 10.5 i believe) iTunes store now dosn't function right and i'm not able to sync. my iPod 4G with my libary. i've tried to reinstall iTunes, but for no use. help please.
well i have to be honest, but i don't know if it the vista you use has any significance for this. but you can try.
okay follow:
1: click "start" on the status line on the buttom of your screen.
2: then click on "all Programs" and find "Accessories" and find the "command prompt"
3: Right click with your mouse "command prompt" and click on "run as administrator"
(as you has click'd on "run as administrator", "command prompt" should appear.)
4: when it appears you need to type this "netsh windsock reset"
5: wait for your computer to registrer the command you gave it, and restart your computer.
then erverything should be pretty much as good or better then new. -
I recently reinstalled iTunes, and now it won't recognize my iphone so I'm not able to sync the phone with iTunes. How do I fix this?
It has been shown there are problems with the latest update of iTunes and Windows computers. What you need to do is remove and reinstall iTunes, and make sure that you follow the steps in this support document exactly. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923. If you do not follow them exactly, you will just compound your problems. Once you do this, you should have no trouble having the phone recognized in iTunes.

You should be able to copy them over to your Mac's iTunes by connecting the iPad to it and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases (that should copy PDFs and epubs that are in iBooks, not just actual ibooks) - does that not work ?

I have an iPhone, Ipad and a Laptop. They all are configured to company's exch.I am not able to sync calendar events on iPad made from my computer or iPhone. It works fine when I make an event from iPad, it shows on computer and iPhone but not vice-versa.
-Me again - it also won't upload the few new pictures I have on the computer onto the iPad without deleting all the photos that are already there....
