C3-01 game not starting

There is this game "Picture Puzzle" installed by default on the phone.
I opened it and played it only once. i didnt change any setting as far as i remember.
But i'm unable to play it again. When i click it, it just shows a blank screen. i have to press red button to turn off the app.

I have the same problem with that game, everything else works fine. I don't want to have to call and go through troubleshooting over the phone. The game worked 2-3 times and now I get the same thing as you. Did you ever figure out why it stopped working?

Hi everyone,I was looking forward to trying a ps now game tonight. I chose God of War II HD. My connection speed shows it should work as I got a green smiley face. Unfortunatley when I have tried to start the game it goes through all the motions (checking download speed, authenticating etc.) but then it simply tells me that the game is unable to start and chucks me back onto the XMB. - If you restored the 5G frmm the iTunes backup of the 3G were th app in the iTunes library of the computer you used? They have to be.
- If yes then try again. When I first restored my iPad 4 from the iTunes backup of my iPad 1 app data did not transfer. I tried again and it did.

firefox was working this morning but in the afternoon, after i got off a game that did not require use of firefox, firefox would not start. it does not show up in the task manager and typing "firefox.exe -ProfileManager" into the search box opens a crash report which neither restarts firefox nor quits it. further attempts to do the same results in the same crash report.
restarting the computer does not help.
previously, in the past week, firefox has been frequently crashing. however, this afternoon was the first time firefox would not start at all. cannot uninstall firefox as my system provides no response.

Flash game problem: Game wont start until user clicks stage

Hi Everyone,
I'm a student at Drexel University and I just completed a basic platformer for a actionscript class. My professor docked me some points for the game not working until the user actually clicks within the swf. I've heard that this problem is caused on mac osx, but I don't have any concrete evidence to get the points back. Can anyone help? Here's a link to the game if you want to check it out. Thanks a lot!

It was also required on my PC using IE8, so your Mac theory is out. If it requires that you set focus on the stage to get it running, then you probably want to have focus set there using code as soon as the game section starts... but I usually have a heck of a time managing focus with actionscript... regardless of how they say to implement it, it tends to not work for me on any reliable basis (probably just Murphy's Law).

Please post more info about your G4. There are many G4 variants and you can get faster and better help if we understand the hardware. At least we need to know processor spec, amount of RAM installed, single or dual processor, and for gaming, which video card is in your computer (how much VRAM).
Three questions:

Did the game work before you upgraded to 10.5?
2) Did you install the game on you hard drive? Most modern games require that the application be on your hard drive, so the game can properly write application support files to you user folder. I only ask because a number of people come to these forums with game problems and the cause turns out to be they are trying to run the version of the game that's on the CD/DVD.

Not starting up after updates

I just got a G3 iBook 500Mhz 384Mb off ebay, OS10.4.9, which worked fine. So I decided to install some of the available software updates, instead of just letting it be! A couple of iphoto updates, keynote, iweb, java, final cut, etc,went in fine until the 10.4.11 update which would not complete - got to 12% or something and then said an error was detected so it stopped. I stopped doing updates, my boy played an internet game for a wee while, then shut down. Now it won't startup - I get a tone, the spinning gear for 20secs or so, then the blue screen with the white box saying Mac OS X and an empty progress bar, and a while later the spinning beachball appears, to be with me for a few hours. Nothing else. Some suggestions please? (I also have a MacBook Pro, with 10.4.11, if that might be helpful, and while I'm not experienced at computers, I'm quite prepared to try things.

Ah well. I'll get back to the seller - again. He earlier suggested 1. resetting the P-RAM, 2. resetting the open firmware, 3. safe boot. None of these worked. He then suggested booting from the disc(pirated) and reinstalling. This worked to an extent, but this morning it would not start up again - but it did get as far as the login, then after logging in it went to a background, with an arrow pointer, and no further (I did leave it for over an hour), while last night it did get past that point(slowly) and worked ok.
So, now I'm trying to reinstall again ( a smaller custom install) then I'll delete the most recent previous system folder, and some other apps that came with it (pirated too!!?)
I guess I may (should) buy a retail copy.
Why didn't I just leave it alone???
Any other advice?

I tried fixing the problem of not being able to access the card site of pogo.com by following the 'How do I re-install Firefox 3.6.13. But alas the pogo game is still is not loading.

This is my solution, and it didn't come easily. After days of turning myself and my computer inside out, I remembered that AVG (antivirus) installed an update a few days ago and realized that's when my Pogo card games trouble started. So I went and disabled the AVG and checked the games. The games loaded! I went into the AVG settings and was able to revert to the previous version. Now I'll have to rethink AVG, but I can play Pogo games once again! Hope this helps.

System will not start

T60 will not start. While turning on and initiating system, it died suddenly. Even the battery light was not illuminated. Battery part# is FRU P/N 42T4504. Should the system still start with the AC adapter, even if battery has died? Are others having problems with this battery?

I had a similar problem, it ended up being much less of an issue than I originally thought.
THis was my problem, maybe its similar to yours.
When doing any type of CPU or GPU intensive work, such as video encoding, or even playing a flash application with lots of things going on, it would jsut die. Lights out, not even the battery or charging lights would come on. Pressing the power button would do nothing either. I had to unplug, take the battery out, put it back in, wait about 10 mins then restart and pray for no BSOD.
I thought it was the power source, but since it was just shutting off randomly, (a symptom of an overheating GPU or CPU) I decided to clean out the fan first (I was out of warrenty).
If that sounds like your problem, I recommend you try the following. If it doesn't fix it, then you're out about $15 and a half-hour of your time. If your machine is out of warrenty, or if you don't want to wait a couple weeks for your laptop to return from the depot, definitely try this. Its cheaper then paying for repairs, and cheaper then getting an assessment of the problem.
Go to a computer parts store, bought a good tube of thermal paste (cost like $15) and some compressed air. Get the good stuff if you have a good processor. It works much better than the stock stuff.
First unplug your laptop, take the battery out, then Unscrew the Screws at the bottom that hold the palmrest, Keyboard down (they'll be marked) then the screws that hold the bezel (not marked).
Once those are off, draw a quick sketch of the inside components, and as you take screws out, label on your sketch the size/colour of the screw, so everything goes back in correctly.
Then, you'll need to take the top left speaker out, and two metal 'arms' that hold the Fan in place. The fan should then pop out. If there's another screw I'm forgetting about, take it out too.
On the fan, your CPU and GPU, there will be old thermal paste. With a lint-free cloth, with a bit of 70% rubbing alcohol, clean the paste off. Be sure to use something that won't leave residue. Things like TP, kleenex, etc are bad. Coffee Filters work pretty well.
Now with the compressed air, spray out the inside of your laptop, spray the fan out well, and anything else that looks dusty.
Now put a bit of the thermal paste on the CPU and GPU, and pop the fan unit back in place, screw it in immediately. Put the rest of the components back together, and while you're at it, take the time to blow out your keyboard, as I'm sure its full of dust, crumbs ,hair, and other fun stuff.
This would likely solve your problem for under $20. And best yet, you don't have to ship your laptop away for a few weeks.
In my case, I thought there were bigger problems. After cleaning/replacing the fan, I haven't had an issue at all, its been a few months. I can encode video, run graphically intensive programs/games, etc. without an issue. CPU/GPU temps don't get nearly as bad as they did.

SAP not starting after crash: Terminateing With error code 12

Hi,
After system crash SAP is not starting normally. When running startsap under SIDadm puts out: /usr/sap/TST/SYS/exe/run/startdb: Terminateing With error code 12
startdb.log shows that:
/oracle/TST/102_64/bin/sqlplus: error while loading shared libraries: libsqlplus.so: cannot open shares object file: No such file or directory
I have checked - file and directory are present.
However - when manually starting DB under oraSID and then logging in as SIDadm and starting SAP - everything starts normally.
(Allthough SID is has been changed before - system also worked normally after SID change) I have checked userrights and groups , also profile - everything seems to be normal. Any ideas?

You should really read the manual. Click Support at the top fo this page, then click Manuals.
You should be syncing to your computer regularly. Your game data is backed up when you sync.
First try a restart. This eraes nothing.
If that does not solve, then try a reset. This erases nothing.
If this fails then try a restore
