C3-01 Screen Protector Recommendation Please

Need a recommendation for a good, ultra clear top of the line fitted custom screen protector for the C3-01.  Also need a powered usb cable.  I am in the US.
Just got the C3-01 and am really impressed for a dumb phone, its the Nokia suite and updating problems that bothers me.  Why does the phone keep saying no update available when I try and update via WiFi on phone?  I am still on version 5.6.  Not having a data cable yet I can't connect and try it that way either. I haven't registered my phone with Nokia Suite yet due to the following.
More more issue, The Nokia Suite won't let me use my Hotmail email address to register under for some stupid reason.  Anyone got a work around for that one?
Thanks

Hi there
http://www.cygnett.com/products/cases/opticclear_touch4.html, make sure that the screen is clean and free of dust. Use a credit card to remove any bubbles that appear after applying the screen protector. I've heard that Belkin screen protectors are the hardest to apply.
Hope this helps

  • Screen Protector Recommendation

    Hello everyone,
I at one time considered a tempered glass screen protector for my Z1 but I was scared away by the possibility of the ASF coming up with the glass screen protector if I ever removed it. I am considering now a plastic screen protector for the front and back. I would rather not have to install a screen protector but the ASF has been scratching too easily with me no matter how careful I am. Does anyone have a recommendation as to a good quality plastic screen protector set for the front and back of the Z1?

    Hi,
I would recommend Copter Screenprotector. I've been using it for my devices and i'm satisfied with it.

  • Is a screen protector recommended?

I'd it recommended to apply the thin film type screen protector to the 4S iPhone?

Apple makes no reccommendation one way or the other.
I have never used one and have never had an issue - 4 iphone models from the very first release.

  • Screen protector recommendations

    hi all
Just wondering if someone can recommend a screen protector for my z3 compact?
I've currently go a sticky plastic one but I felt obliged to remove it (temporarily) and now it's caked in dust particles.
People have suggested i go for a tempered glass one but having seen positive reviews for ultimate shield, I promptly then found some disturbing reports of these screen protectors just self-chipping, self-cracking and/or criminal quality control errors like adhesive on the wrong side, etc.
Digging has turned up names like:
    ultimate shield
    nillkin
    MFX
    rhino shield
    Thanks for any tips/help/suggestions.
    Regards,
    Gary

Invisible shield by Zagg it's a good option.

  • Ipad 2 screen protector recommended ?

Hi, just two days back I bought a capdase screen protection for around $40 now the problem happened when I was putting it on the screen, after putting it on everything was fine but when I removed the no 2 sticker on top to expose the top part of the protector I accidently grabbed the whole protector itself and kept on  the table with sticky part face down, it went so bad with all the dust sticking to it I had to throw it away and my 40 bucks wasted... my question now:
how good is iPad 2 without a screen protector, and how much apple charges just in case a few months down the line I go to them with a few scratches to replace my glass ? or is it worth it spend another 40 $ on another screen protector to try ? What is apple recommendations on using one ?
    Thanks a lot ...

Apple says you don't need a screen protector.. thats why they dont sell them in stores anymore.
I say, if you want one, get one.
Personally, i always have one on my screens. A guy i work with, dropped his iPhone 2 weeks ago... HUGE scratch on the screen. not really noticeable when the iPhone is on, but off... you can see it.
When i got my new iPad 2, i bought a 2 pack on cheap generic iPad 2 screens. for me and my mother. they went on easy, mine has 2 dust spots that got under the screen... bugs me. my mother's is perfect.
the generic ones i bought you cant tell they are on, but they collect fingerprints like mad..
I like the Wrapsol and Power support screens for my iPhone. I just bought a Power support for myself to replace the Zag Invisible shield, first time buying one of the wet ones. It's a good shield, but had a rubbery texture to it. i had problems using the iPhone in the cold, or if my hands were cold or a little wet. (like after washing hands til the oils built up on your fingers again)
I have a wrapsol on my mothers iPhone 4, her corner is coming up now (her case did it) other than that the thing is clear and doesn't show fingerprints much.
now that the iPad 2 has been out long enough for 3rd parties to make decent shields, i may grab a power support one. I got another cheapy with my Enki case last week... was tempted to replace the one on my iPad 2 now (cause of the dust spots bug me)
Everyone says the Power support crystal clear skins are the best, so far i'd have to agree on the iPhone 4. easy to put on and they come with a film to grab dust off the screen before the actual screen goes down.
I know how you feel... I did the same thing on my first iPhone 3G screen. I haven't messed up a iPad screen yet..

  • Need screen protector recommendation

    Hi all,
I just ordered the new iPod and have heard a lot of talk about how easy it is to scratch the screen. I had a 4G iPod and took great care of it in a case made by XtremeMac. Unfortunately they don't have the same case available for the new iPod.
I'm looking for recommendations for a protector just for the screen portion of the iPod. I have seen good talk about the InvisibleShield and the shields from Martin Fields but am looking for any other recommendations.
    Thanks for any input.

I posted this in another topic but have tried both Invisible Shield and iDiddy. The iDiddy is far superior to Invisible Shield, it comes with instructions, a squeegee and does not use water! It is also almost 1/2 the price. I have the iDiddy on my 5G and think it is absolutely fantastic. http://www.ididdy.com/html/productsG5opticover.htm

  • Plastic Non-sticky Screen protector.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I used to have a case that came with a thick sheet of bendable plastic that I could slide in and out with the case as a screen protector. I have since ordered the same case "Griffin Elan form Case with EasyDock for iPhone 3G, 3G S (Black)" and it no longer comes with the removable/slide able non-sticky screen protector. It came with a regular peel off and install screen.
Does anyone know where I can get my old screen protector? Please! I've been searching everywhere!

Mine doesn't feel sticky, of course it's been on for a year and a half or so.
I can suggest giving it a few days or so, see if you can get used to it.

  • Does apple recommend a screen protector

I was wondering if there is any recommendation for a screen protector, and is it a worthwhile investment?

Screen protectors are invaluable.  If you spend as much money as you spend on your apple devices should you invest a little bit more to ensure they stay scratch/scuff/damage-free for the life of product?
Screen protectors may be hard to learn how to put on but once you discover all the tricks and develop a steady hand you can easily apply one in a few minutes and it will completely blend in.  Depending how rough you are with your devices will go hand in hand with how long a screen protector will last.
Lastly, you can get matte, or anti-fingerprint screen protectors that actually take the edge off fingerprints.  I never will use an iPhone/iPod/iPad without one.

  • Clear coat update :D (recommended screen protector)

k guys so i had a thread earlier where i was ranting about my bumper peeling my screen protector off (i have clear coat) so i took it back to the mall i got it done..and they fixed it for free
and btw clearcoat now has a cut out for the front camera..but i think it doesnt look as good and that it used to look better when the screen protector went over the front camera..because now u can tell theres a screen protector there. so im letting it dry and will try again with my bumper.
but i definetely recommend clear coat screen protector because it feels so nice and u can get it replaced free.

I personally wouldn't give you 10 cents for a Zagg Invisible Shield.  It destroys the screen quality/graphics on your Ipad 2.  I bought one at Best Buy for $34.98 and I paid $14.99 for them to put it on.  They did an excellent job putting it on, but the first thing I noticed was how grainy the picture was...it had tiny pink, blue and yellow dots.  I was told this is what every "anti-glare" screen protector looks like.  I left it on there for 4-5 days and I just hated it....but since I spent $50 for it, I hated to take it off, but I couldn't stand how my screen looked. I took it off and my graphics are what they should be again!!! I have 2 desktop pc's, 2 laptops and an Iphone, so I certainly didn't need another internet device, The main reason I wanted an Ipad 2 because the graphics are phenomenal.  The other advantages like it being lighter and smaller and than a laptop were an added benefit for me.  Now I'm looking for a clear screen protector to put on my IPad.  I've never heard of the clear coat that wraps around the whole IPad.  I'm going to see if there's anyone around my area that's doing that!

  • Does a new ipad 4 retina have a screen protector fitted from factory please...

does anyone know if a new ipad 4 has a screen protector fitted from factory please....

Apple does not sell their devices with screen protectors preinstalled. If you want a precise fit, you may try a third party that can place the screen protector on for you.

  • Recommendations for Screen Protectors for the Vision

I'm in the process of buying another one, but the first two I received from one retailer had horrifically scratched screens.
So I want a screen protector. Any recommendations? I've been to the boxwave site and the invisishield site.
I don't think Creative's screen protectors are available currently.

for a total of 7 bucks including shipping you can get something called the best skin ever its the same material that invisble shield uses for a cheaper price. and its only 5$ plus 2 dollar shipping.

  • Recommendations for iPhone Screen Protector

I have purchased both kinds you can get at the apple store and I just purchased another set at the AT&T. The ones at Apple are okay, but still impossible to put on without having air bubbles and the ones at AT&T are just cheap. With that being said, does anyone have any recommendations on the best screen protector you can buy. Call me a perfectionist, but I don't want ANY air bubbles and I want a screen protector that lasts longer than just a few months.
    Thanks!

The best one I've found is offered by 3M. It's a screen protector that has a special coating that makes it hard to read from any angle except straight on - great for prying eyes! Very durable protector, and applied easily with no bubbles. I highly recommend it! I ordered it direct from 3M, just Google it and it'll come up.
    Good luck!

  • Does apple recommend a screen protector for the iPad 4?

Does Apple recommend a screen protector for the iPad with a retina screen?

Apple's recommendations are usually hardware and software related. How to charge the battery, the benefits of backing up, transferring purchases, and things like that.
I have never seen Apple officially recommend any third party accessory and I doubt that they ever will do so. Using a screen protector is up to the individual. I have always used a screen protector of some type on all of my iDevices. I have somewhat oily skin and I would rather trash and have to clean a screen protector than have to keep up with cleaning the glass.
I have an iPad 3 and I have it encased in an OtterBox Defender case with a built in screen protector. My iPad 3 is in pristine condition - screen and back. My OtterBox Defender has taken quite a beating however, and I prefer that the case take the abuse and not the iPad!

  • Can anyone recommend a glass or plastic screen protector that fits a Speck Candy Shell case?

Hi. Does anyone know if a glass screen protector will be too thick to fit the Candy Shell case? I really don't like the film options. I specifically want to get the Sir Lancelot's Armour glass protector.

Ive seen and played with most all the zippered strapped cases, and most all of them are awful.
it still ended up back at the Incase strapped case, very thin, but very well padded, well made and the perfect all around choice.
id recommend getting a like new used one for $25 on ebay rather than $60 new.  But as you wish.
    like this :

$20 , Incase used like new , perfect choice.
    same case new is $60
