  • SDHC support Nokia 6120 classic

    Hi there,
Does the Nokia 6120 classic support microSDHC cards, i.e. memory cards of 4GB and larger? Yes, I know the specification only says up to 2GB normal microSD. The E90 and N95 do support SDHC while they have the same Symbian platform (S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1). Anyone tried a 4GB in a 6120 already?
I use a 4 GB card 9FAT32) in my 6230i and works perfectly, while according specifications only 512MB (FAT16) is supported.

    Hi All,
Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread. I went out and bought myself a SanDisk 8GB microSDHC Class 2 and it works perfectly with my Nokia 6120c. The guy at the store said that 8GB microSDHC was the maximum capicity supported (/ tested???) by the 6120c.
Just to be sure, I updated the phone firmware to 5.11 and backed up all phone contents prior to putting in the new memcard. Hope this post helps some one else...

  • Satellite A20-S103 and SDHC support

    Hello,
Are there any chances to make my old A20-S103 support SDHC cards?
I googled and checked Toshiba support page for the latest drivers but it doesn't seem to work.
I know I can buy an external USB reader, but I'd like to use the built-in reader if possible.
I hope it's just a matter of new driver, not the hardware itself.
I'd appreciate any help regarding this.
    Thx

I am 100% sure something like this is not possible. It is old notebook model and it is not supported anymore.
You can try to install driver designed for some newer notebook model but I dont believe it will work.

  • E65 latest firmware supports sdhc (4gb and above) ...

    Hi everyone,
My e65 runs firmware version 1.0633.18.01, product code is 0548014.
Now I know I can't update to the latest software version probably because my phone is branded by the operator (3 Austria).
Anyhow, I'd like to know if the latest firmware available from Nokia enables support for high capacity sd-memory cards (4 gb, 8gb...).
If yes, maybe I should try bugging the operator about it. Or, I could get my phone unbranded and try to update? Could that work so that I can use an 8gb mem card with my E65?
If not, does anynoe happen to have a clue whether IT IS POSSIBLE at all that future updates might enable sdhc support?
This topic has been touched by previous posts, but the last one to be specific about it is a few months old, so I thought I'd ask you guys again
    Thanks, Ben

    thanks for the info,
but that leaves my question unanswered as to the TECHNICAL POSSIBILITY of a firmware upgrade enabling sdhc support.
Can sdhc support actually be enabled just by altering the phone's software?
    Ben

  • New 16gb zen:sd slot max capaci

Upgrading my Windows Media Player to version worked perfectly.
Now the albums on my Zen have the correct cor Hello, I was wondering if the new zen's sd slot could take 6gb. This way it could come up to 32 gb, which would be absolutely fantastic, given the credit card size. A 6 gb SD card is expansi've, so i want to make sure that it would be compatible with the operating system... Anyone esponding cover art for each album.

Currently, the largest SD card is 2gb and anything beyond that, ie 4gb up to 6gb is SDHC. As far as your computer is concerned, it should not be an issue, you may just need to have a SDHC card reader if you want to use it on your PC if you do not want to use the Zen as a SD/SDHC reader/writer. The standard SD Card reader would not work.
However as for the Zen, the 6gb SDHC would work as it has SD/SDHC support at least that was what I remembered someone posting in this forum.

    Hi robbyrutz,
    Welcome to the forum!

  • Does Nokia 3600 support Micro-SDHC memory?

I am afraid I cannot find the answer to this question anywhere on the web:
On the one hand, the manuals refer to Micro-SD. I called Nokia and I was told that the 3600 supports only Micro-SD and not Micro-SDHC. But the person didn't sound really sure.
On the other hand, I found several online retailers offering Micro-SDHC cards referring specifically to Nokia 3600. Also, some reputable memory manufacturers (e.g. Crucial) point to Micro-SDHC products when I identify my phone as a 3600.
Can anybody tell me who is right?

sometimes what nokia states is based on avaliablility of current size memory cards and nokia's testing with particular phones. so other cards may work just fine in phones that are not indicated but there is no guarantee as they were only tested with a certain limit and that limit is what nokia would post. it is recommended to use certain card sizes with certain phones for optimal performance as well especially lower end phones that do not have sometimes enough juice to sort through a huge quanitty of data.

  • Does Tecra M4 supports SDHC cards?

    Hi
Do anyone know if the the SD slot in Tecra M4 support SDHC card or not?
I do not want to waste my money to buy and test a card.
    Thanks a lot

What does the user manual says?
    Did you check it?
I checked it and it looks like the slot supports only the SD cards up to 4GB.
Therefore the usage of SDHC card should be not possible. Ohh wait its possible but you would need to connect an external card reader which supports such cards.

  • Does Equium M70 support 4GB or 8GB SDHC card

    Could anyone help please?
My laptop reads standard sd cards fine (1gb),
However i want to buy a 4gb or 8gb SDHC card to transfer pictures from my camera onto my laptop and then onto my ipod.
Cant find any info in the manual
    Any replies really appreciated
    Thanks, Mark

    Hi!
The Equium M70 supports only SD cards up to 1GB so SDHC cards will not work.
You can find this information in the user manual. I have checked it and so I know this.
If you dont have the user manual you can download it on the Toshiba website.
