C3 double communities icons

Updated to 7.20, twice. Problem still there, everything is working fine but I find it annoying though. Although I actually live in Finland there is no Nokia service center nearby, ironic yes I know. Very happy with my C3 so far and I hope the next update will fix the double icon thingie since I don't want to risk breaking my phone by re-installing 7.20 again.

Communities icon doubled on main menu after updati...

I'm wondering how to fix my main menu becuase after updating my phone's firmware, the communities icon has now doubled. I feel kinda obsessive compulsive about this. can somebody help how to fix this? thanks

IPhone 4 screen will not work...have to double tap icons to open...can not slide to other pages from main screen...any idea how to fix it? Have done a hard reset to no avail.

The main screen on my Iphone 4 seems to be locked. I have to double tap icons to open. In the keypad screen I have to double tap numbers to dial. I have tried to reset using both the back button and the power button. Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it? Any help is appreciated!

My 6th gen ipod nano i have to double tap icons to enter and i have a grey 1 line boarder around my icons, how can i fix this? thanks

i just recently got a new ipod back from apple because my other one had a hardware issue.
i wasnt able to manually shut it off by holding the power down button, so i updated ipod and now that part works good. it still doesnt respond well to the touch screen part, i have to use two fingers to get it to slide through the icons and i have to double tap icon in order to enter, and there is an annoying grey boarder around everything now, and to scroll up and down i have to tilt the ipod and wait for it to scroll down by itsself.
is this normal? anyway to get it back to the way my old one was, no grey boarders and it responded perfectly to my one finger touch.

of course as soon as i post this question i find the answer on this website! it was in voiceover mode, i got rid of it by going into settings general accessibility voiceover. thanks to this website! so much better now haha

Premiere Pro cs5.5 will not open after double-clicking icon

I have uninstalled and reinstalled from disk. I double-click the icon and the opening screen begins and then closes down. I've run windows update to make sure everything is up to date and it still will not open. Any suggestions on what to do?

I don't think that is a graphics adapter, that is an I/O device... from what I have read
--Windows 7 click START and look on the right side
--Go to Windows Control Panel from START popup
--NOTE that I do not have Win8 so can't give instructions
--Click Hardware and Sound and then click Device Manager
--Click the + sign at Display Adapters
--Right click the display adapter and select Properties
The "usual" is some model of ATI/AMD or an nVidia adapter

Plese help me ! can't open files with double clicking icons...

at the first, sorry about my English. (i'm japanese and english is my second language so..) anway.... i can't open the files on desk top by double click. if i go to Finder then i can open files... and some files i can open by double click. i downloaded Limewire but i can't install it because my couble click is not working for that. but i can double click to open photoshop, safari or email or some other things in the dock. and i couldn't open up the games either.. doesn anybody knows what's happened to my son's computer? it's a iMac flat panel G4. and OS X 10.3.9. Saw your response and started to write to you for help also but have, with one final try, found PART of my problem. I have a Logitech wired optical mouse that worked with everything except opening desktop volumes when I double clicked on them. I could open applications and documents within the Finder window....just not the desktop volume icons.
I ran Disk Utility........verified all the volumes........repaired all permissions, unplugged mouse and reset. Logitech software is up to date.. I've never had this happen before.
What I discovered was that I was double clicking to open the volumes, but had the mouse set for single click. It's still a little strange because I changed it to double click to open and now it opens with double OR single click. Now I can open the volumes but it won't allow me to move the Finder windows that open. I can't drag or move them on the desktop; have to use them where they open.
Any suggestions for me, I hope? Thanks.

Error message when double-clicking icon to open document, won't open

My documents will not open when I double click their icon. They will open when dragged to the application icon or from the application itself. I get an error message if I try to open by double-clicking the icon. This is for In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Is this a simple fix?

Select one of the icons in question and do a Get Info on it.
You will be presented with the standard Get Info window telling you, amongst other things, what the default program is to open the file.
You can also select "Use this application to open all similar douments like this".
See if that helps.
Normally the finder will do this for you so there may be other issues going on with your user preferences.

Suddenly need to double click icons,how do i fix this

I suddenly need to double click on all icons. The icons get "highlighted" with a square. This square must be "moved" to the desired location then hit twice to enter the requested action.

You likely enabled VoiceOver by triple-clicking the Home button. Check your VoiceOver setting and disable it if it's enabled.
Settings/General/Accessibility/VoiceOver
Remember you need to double-tap to enable/disable the setting until you turn it off
To disable the shortcut (triple-click):
Settings/General/Accessibility/(scroll down to)Accessibility Shortcut

Dumb and minor problem...double LibreOffice icons in Xfce menu

not the most serious problem, I know, but in my Xfce application menu, under "Office" I get _two_ icons for some LibreOffice apps...LibreOffice itself, Base, Calc, Impress, and Writer, but not for Draw, Math or QuickStarter.
Any ideas? I don't even know if I can edit the menu "by hand," or what action each represents...any pointers from Xfce users?

A bit of a guess, but doesn't the menu use the .desktop files? These are found in /usr/share/applications and ~/.local/share/applications.
Check out the contents of those directories and see if there are multiple entries for the apps that are doubled.

Select, then double click icons, but no scrolling?

I double clicked the home button, and while trying to get it to slide to the music controls, I set some setting that now forces me toselect, then double tap an icon to get to an app. I can't slide between pages, or scroll up or down. How do I fix this?

It sound like an Accessibility feature got turned on. Go to Settings>General>Accessibility and check/correct. Try tapping twice with three finger to gain control.
You can also configure Accessibility with iTunes with your iPod connected by going to the Summary pane in iTunes and clicking on the Configure Universal Access button.

Double iCal icon in my dock

My iCal dock icon has two images of the month and day. Suggestions to fix it would be appreciated.

Check Applications/Calendar and if it is correct, the Dock alias has gotten corrupted. Click and hold the icon while holding down the command key. Drag it out of the Dock until your get a puff of smoke. Then go to Applications and drag Calendar into the Dock.

IPhoto 08' will not launch after double clicking icon in dock

I recently had to reinstall the Tiger OS and did so through Archive and Reinstall option. After everything was back up and running I installed all updates available through Software Update. But, iPhoto does not launch. The icon bounces up and down twice and then stops... nothing happens after that. I tried looking for the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file and could not find it in the preference folder. Funny thing is that all the other iLife apps work just fine.
Any ideas not involving reinstalling iPhoto through the CD? I just moved and am still trying to located the iLife CD.

Update to Yosemite gets double HDD icon in option restart

After having updated to Yosemite, I get two Macintosh HDD and a Windows icons when I restart my computer?
Can I get rid of one? How do I do that?

Firefox will not load when I double click icon, but is "running " in the backgr

Just recently my firefox will not open at all. I ahve tried to unistall and then reinstall and that did not help. When I go to shut down my computer, it states that firefox is "not responding" and do I want to end the program. HELP!!
