C3- Problem regarding Images

Hello,
I m having C3 but seems one problem i.e. All the images or photos in memory card automatically shown in "Photos- My Photos".
Anything deleting from that deletes frm memory card too.
I want to show selected photos in "My Photos".
Any suggestions regarding it.

I just installed my CS5.1 on my new Lenovo Laptop Win 8.1. Problem -- On Image Adjustments none of the adjustment options respond.

I just installed my CS5.1 on my new Lenovo Laptop Win 8.1. and everything worked for a day. On day 2 I ran into Problems -- On > Image >Adjustments none of the adjustment options respond. None of the toolbar functions such as >Crop etc respond.
I then installed the same download on my PC and everything works as it should.
Can anybody help please

The software worked on the first day, problems appeared next day. I uninstalled and deleted the exe.file, then redownloaded and reinstalled but same problem persists.
I then downloaded and installed on my PC and everything works.

Problems w/ Images in Reports 2.5

I seem to have run into an apparent limitation with the Oracle Developer
2000 Report Designer 2.5. I have an image that is displayed, the path being
stored within the database, the image is then Read from file. This works
fine except there are two problems that I have run into and hope somebody
can either confirm this is the way the software functions or point me in the
right direction.
It seems impossible to me to get the image to center within the field as
defined in the Report Layout. I have the image field on the report set to
about 10 Inches wide. Initially the image appeared on the left hand side of
the field, I changed the alignment to Center as you would for a text field
but to no avail, the image always comes back on the left hand side.
If the images where all of a uniform size this would not bother me as I
would simply create the image box based upon the size of the image and
center it on the report, alas this is not an ideal world. How can I center
an image within a field ? Is it even possible.
Thing brings me onto my second problem, the images stretch to fill the image
field, stopping when it either hits the horizontal or vertical boundary.
This is great in a way because oversized images are zoomed into and appear
fine, the whole process does not mess with the aspect ratio's of the images
at all. However with images much smaller than the image field, they are
stretch way to much and become pixilated and an eyesore. I have tried
playing with the Variable, Can Shrink, Can Grow features but I lose all
control of where the image will wind up with varying results. The Expand,
Contract properties have little effect, the variable option shrinks all
images down to the tiniest of thumbnails and then again they appear to the
left of center. Somebody has to have done this before.
Any idea how I can control this behavior ? And maybe just have an image
appear at its actual size ?
Combined these two factors make the report shabby, and this is intended as
presentation quality material.
Any guidance, advice is appreciated.

Is there any particular reason you cannot upgrade to Reports 6i? Reports 2.5 is quite old, and there have been a number of issues resolved with images since then.

Blob Problem (storing Images)

I am working as a developer in a companey. we made a database for HRMS. In this database there is a table EMPLOYEE with a column PICTURE of type BLOB. We were using oracle 8i initially but when we migrate to oracle 9i, we are facing a problem in image storing. The situation is, database showing ur previously stored images (those have stored in oracle 8i) but when we save a new image in that table or any other table it seams to be saved but cannot retrived. I mean when we issue a query
SELECT EMP_ID FROM EMPLOYEE WHERE PICTURE IS NOT NULL;
It shows the new inserted records too (thats shows us that picture has been inserted) but when we issue query from a forms6i application it didnt show any image. In case of report, when we try to query a record which newly inserted with image, it says some thing like REPORT IS UNABLE TO SHOW IMAGE FORMATE etc.
The situation is for all table and all schema which is indicating us may be it is some thing due to oracle 9i headen technique or due to miss managment by us. we dont have DBA in our companey.
Please help us in this regard. We will be thankfull to you.

I think that both your SQL is wrong and your intended use is wrong. According to the SQL reference, the following seems to be a simplified definition that seems to match what you're trying to do. UPDATE <table> SET <column> = <expr>. So PROPERTIES should be a <table> of some kind and X should be a <column> of that table. This changes your PreparedStatement to *"UPDATE PROPERTIES SET X = ? WHERE NAME = ?"* Then you can do ps.setBlob(1, b) and ps.setString(2, ...). Because your statement is DML you must do ps.executeUpdate(). So your code might look something like this.
Blob b = ...;
String x = ...;
ps = c.prepareStatement("UPDATE PROPERTIES SET X = ? WHERE NAME = ?");
ps.setBlob(1, b);
ps.setString(2, x);
int i = ps.executeUpdate();
The executeUpdate() returns the row count (i.e. number of rows) of your DML statement. Try that and see if it helps.

IOException: Problem loading image

Without more information, I'd say there's not enough available RAM to load the image.

Wierd problem regarding JInternalFrames and OUTLINE_DRAG_MODE

theres absolutley no problem. As soon as I'm running the Jar file, the drawing of the "outlines" while resizing the InternalFrame
is kinda laggy and choppy as hell. I spent 2 hours of googling now and I still got no idea why thats the case, so I hope anyone
here can enlighten me.

After the installation of Oracle Lite 3.6.0.2.0 on a laptop (with WIN 95 OS), When I run Oracle Lite Designer from start menu, I receive following error message :

the PATH and CLASSPATH were set accordingly, as with JDK1.1.8, and there was no classes.zip in classpath
also the class file or the jar file looks weird or wrapped in the error message : 'FILES\ORA95_2\LITE\DESIGNER\oldes.jar;C:\PROGRAM'
Another interesting thing I noticed is if I run oldes.exe from Installation CD, the Oracle Lite Designer runs fine, and without error, I'm able to modify tables in the database of my laptop also.
Could someone shade some light on what am I doing wrong here ?

I have a problem regarding sales order line item with confimed quanity

Hi Experts,
I have a problem regarding sales order line item with confimed quanity with '0' with delivery block but confirming the sales order quantity once the order is released from credit check.
The situation arises as per the below scenarios.
Scenario - 1 - When the sales order has two line item - one line item with confirmed qunaity in the schedule line and for the 2nd line item there is no available stock for the Material xxxxxx.
Initially the sales order is created for the line item 2 with confirmed quantity = 0, and having the delivery block = 01 for the Material xxxxxx and the order is set with credit check. Once the order is relased from the credit check. The quanity for the item 2 where the confirmed quantity will be = 0 ( Where it is not changing the confirmed quantity)
Scenario -2- Updating the order qunaity for the line item 2 as (9Pcs) it will goes to credit check and save the order.
Maintain the stock for the line item 2 ( 5 Pcs).
Once the order is released from the credit check. Then for the line item 2 the confirm quanity will be seting to 5 Pcs with Delivery blcok 01.
This should not happen, When the credit check is released even though if it has stock based on the delivery blockl it should set the confirmed quanity to Zero.
Can you please help me how to solve this issue.

I agree with your point. In the sales order When the complete delivery check box is enabled where the confimed qty is set to zero, it is fine but when we save the orderr it goes to credit check. Once we release the order using VKM3 where in the sales order the confimed quantity is setting to 5, But it should set to Zero quantity. Quatity should not be get confirmed it should be Zero Quantity.
Further in SPRO - customizing in the deliveries blocking reasons - It has a tick mark in the confirmation blcok. But we dont want to remove the - Confirmation Block tick mark
Please any one can help me if you have any solution to solve this problem.

Problem Regarding Creation of Compound field

Hi all,
I have a problem regarding creation of a compound source field.
My source field is say for eg. SF1 and SF2
Destination Field is a look up flat field say LF which has 2 display fields D1 and D2
I mapped SF1 to D1 and SF2 to D2
But when i right click at source and select 'Create compound field' for SF1 and SF2, the compound field is not created automatically.
Can anyone give me a hint as to why is this happening?

Hi Roshani,
Just check for couple of other things, like
1) I hope its not a qualified table and none of those fields are qualified.
2) None of the fields are ther currently in the matching set in the next tab.
3) You didnt map the main filed (look up table filed, which is there as a sub-table name)
4) There are no more display fields for that table.
I hope it should be one of the above issues. please check for them.

Here I have a Problem regarding the creation of Table using CSS.
In My Application i have a table with multiple rows(Rows are Dynamically added to the table).First i am setting the table with the following properties:
width:900px;
height : auto,
Overflow : visible,
Max-height: : 200px.
If I use above properties,I'm getting a table with 5 or 6 rows(height upto 200px).After that i am getting the Vertical ScrollBar.
The problem is when a table has many columns, Vertical and Horizontal Scrolls are coming at the time of setting the table. The table height is not Increasing dynamically.
How can i use "height" property in CSS? (I want the table height to be increased when the columns are more.)

If so select the option convert to new region (opt-comm-R or selecting it by right clicking). Check your audio bin to make sure. Whats the "merge" function? Are u refering to the glue tool?

we need an image processing utility for our web processing.
requirements are as described below:
we have a e commerce based application where we need to display product images which we are currently displaying successfully.
now we have to provide user with image processing functionality like user can zoom image can flip image can rotate image.
what we want like when user click on zoom we can generate a dynamic image of that region based on a single source of image and can provide zooming functionality.
more over company requirements is to go for only open source solution [:-)]
we tried some open source solutions but due to the in house E-Commerce framework constraints we not able to integrate them,.
can any one point me to any open source java based library so that we can use that to provide solution or do we need some other approach.

Problem with images opened in Photoshop CS 5

Hi, I have a problem with images that I open in Photoshop CS 5. F. ex. I opened
the following image:
The image appears with a purple color in Photoshop. If I hover over the image
with a tool like lasso, it temporarily regains it´s original color. The image mode is RGB Color, 8 Bits/Channel.
I resetted the start settings of Photoshop with the CTRL-Shift-Alt-combination, which had no effect.

The confusion arises from the imprecise error message in the Preferences > Performance dialog box, to wit:
