C309g-m pulling multiple blank sheets when printing

I have a C309g-m that I bought last fall. Beginning several days ago (after a paper jam that I cleared), it has started pulling multiple blank sheets for each printed page. For example, today I printed one e-mail and one web page (both were single pages), and each was followed by 8 blank sheets. The sheets can be reused of course but something clearly isn't right.
Could the jam have knocked something out of alignment?  What do I need to do to correct this?
Update: has nobody else seen this behavior? HP support staff - please give me some suggestions and if they resolve the problem I'll post the results here.

  • HP Deskjet 3512 spews out blank sheet before printing shipping label

Hi,As my title says, the printer pops out a blank sheet before printing my shipping label. This has been going on for about a week. Nothing has changed or is different. If it can't be fixed i want to get a new one so i don't get behind in my work.Just wondering if this happens when an inexpensive printer is on it's last legs. Thanks, Sandi

Not saving the label. When i get an order Right on that page is a box "print shipping label'Another page shows where you put the weight in and you check a couple other sequential thingsand the printer pops out the label. Super duper simple. When the first blank sheet comes out i don't have to touch anything for the label to begin printing...it does it on it's own.. maybe the printer needs a vacation as i do!  Sandi

  • Why do graphics and colors that appear on the monitor show up as blank spaces when printed out

Graphics (especially color) on emails and attachments show up as BLANK spaces when printed out.
Also, some color graphics and detail work of those graphics on familiar websites do not show up on my monitor
Both of these situations DO NOT occur on Explorer. With that browser - everything is OK

it may have worked, but gimping my system isn't exactly a solution, more of a band-aid.
its the equivalent of the old
patient says, " its hurts when i do *this* "
doctor replies," well, don't do that "
What do you mean "it may have worked" – did it or did it not?
Anyway it is not a remedy but diagnostics and if it makes a difference it points at the GPU driver as a likely culprit.

  • My Officejet Pro 8000 wireless printer prints to only 4x5" on 8x11 sheet when printing mult pages

My Officejet Pro 8000 wireless prints to only 4x5 inches on the 8x11 sheet when I try to print multiple pages per sheet from an Adobe file.  The print preview shows the paper dimensions to be 8x11, and the four Adobe pages are properly scaled to fill the 8x11 printed sheet, yet when printing, all the printing is condensed to the upper left quarter of the sheet.

What did it? I was still trying to figure it out

  • I get blank printouts when printing from Firefox (see details) anyone know how to remedy this.

I receive the following error mesage when clicking on the properties button within the 'print' dialogue box "Function address 0x0 caused a protection fault. (exception code 0xc00000005) The application property sheet pages(s) may not function properly."
When I attempt to print any pages from Firefox, the printer goes through the motions and seems to print every word but no ink touches the paper, I just get blank printouts. Printing from all other web browsers and desktop apps is just fine (Lexmark P3150, Win XP SP3).
Anyone know how to resolve this??

  • Printer printing blank sheets between printed ones

I have a HP Officejet 6210 all in one, running windows XP. My problem is when I am printing something I made up in microsoft word, it puts out a blank sheet first than it puts out a blank sheet in between the printed ones. I don't want to have to babysit it if I have a lot of copies to print. It seems to only do it on certain ones. I have an older version of word.

This article should help resolve your blank pages:

  • How can I eliminate blank responses when printing the submited form?

I am using a lot of skip logic on an employment application.  When printing the application out, I have many pages that don't need to be there.  I get the same thing on the email notice I receive, even though I have the checkbox marked not to include blank responses.
    Thanks for you help.
    Jay

    Hi Jay;
When you say you are printing out the submitted from, are you using the "Download Response as PDF"?  There isn't any way to hide unanswered questions in the PDF.  I was trying to think if you could export responses as Excel and hide the unanswered columns but since those would be different per responder that would not work.  I am not sure of a way to do this at the moment, if I come up with something I will respond again.
Regarding the emails, there is not an option to hide blank responses in the "Email Notifications" (that goes to you, the author).  There is an option in the "Email Receipts" for the "Email Submission Reciept" that goes to the person who submitted the form (assuming they enter their email into an email field you selected), in there is an option to include empty fields (ommited by default).
You may want to add a feature request to the ideas page for the "Email Notification" to have an option to exclude blank responses, you can do that here by clicking "Create an idea" in the upper right:  http://forums.adobe.com/community/formscentral?view=idea
    Thanks,

  • HT4356 Blank page when printing from email

I just got and set up Epson NX 430. It is AirPrint printer and is printing from both iPhone and iPad.
Seems to be fine except when printing except from email. Then it always feeds a blank page first then prints the email. I can't figure out how to stop it from feeding blank page.
I contacted Epson and they say it is an AirPrint issue and I have to contact Apple for that.
Anyone else having same issue and any ideas of how to fix or stop the blank page?

In the Print dialog, select Open PDF in Preview from the PDF menu in the lower left corner. Is the print preview blank?

  • F4280 ejecting blank sheets, not prints

    System 1
    Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit
Printing from MS office 2007 Home and Student : Excel
    System 2
    Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit
Printing from MS office 2003 : Excel
I have tested this worksheet and it prints from all our other workstations to various different printers. But on Two workstations the only variable is that they are printing to HP F4280 printers.  On these workstations, the test print prints perfectly. Printing from other applications is not an issue. Printing some worksheets is OK.  But on a few of the different work sheets, they print preview just fine, but just spit out sheets of paper, the print heads don't even move.
We cannot seem to find a solution from all our testing.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer divers with no change in the results.  The only thing that we can figure (by process of elimination) is that the problem is specific to the printer model.
    Any ideas?

    Hi,
I had the same problem and I solved it! There is probably defined maximal resolution in the XLS file. To print the document (sheet) it is necessary to set the Normal quality of printing, not maximal quality (File > Print > Properties > Normal). It seem that the printer HP Deskjet F4280 is not able to print in the maximal defined resolution (usually 1200 dpi).
    It worked for me!
    Good luck,
    Paul

  • HP 8625 picks up multiple sheets when printing

I've become increasingly frustrated by the paper handling of this printer, and I'm on the verge of returning it to Costco.  I usually print in duplex, draft quality, using 22 lb paper.  Too often, the printer will feed two pages at once, so that the back side of a page prints on a separate page.  Also, it will often pick up multiple sheets (more than two sheets) at the same time so that a bit of print is at the tops of a couple of pages while the bulk of it is on another sheet.
I've tried working with the paper width adjustment, but it doesn't seem to be possible to set it for the proper tension to avoid multiple feeds.
    I'm open to suggestions.

@sr_arizona, Welcome to the HP Community!
I have some suggestions for you in regards to the issues you're having with duplex printing on 22lb paper, from your Officejet 8625. I have two links for you down below I'd like you to go through. Try all of the steps that you may not have attempted yet to see if they can help this "feed issue". I have a few additional ideas of my own to add as well. If these steps do not help at all, I would lastly suggest calling HP directly to see about a replacement unit!
An ADF Paper Jam Error Displays on the HP Officejet Pro 8610, 8620, 8630, 8640, and 8660 e-All-in-On...
An 'Out of Paper' Message Displays and the Printer Does Not Pick Up Paper for the HP Officejet Pro 8...
Tip: After resetting the printer, make sure the printer is plugged in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power and can help a feed issue.
You can try running the Print and Scan Doctor from your PC. This diagnostic tool will check for any conflicts that could be causing the issue. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there was a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results.
Try Uninstalling the Printer Software, and reinstalling the Full Feature Driver here: HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers
Try printing from different programs is important too. If you find that one program will not print as you wish with all print settings selected correctly however, other programs print without any issue, the program itself could have a glitch causing the issue and that sole program should be troubleshot.
Let me know what happens and we will go from there depending on the results after troubleshooting!

  • How to fill 8.5 x 11 sheet when printing PDF in Print View Mode

I need to print portions of a PDF file (converted from a 24 x 36 drawing sheet file) so that it prints on a 8.5 x  11 sheet of paper to some architectural scale (i.e. 1/8" = 1 foot). On the old (4:3) LCD monitor this was not a problem...I would select a zoom scale to fill the sheet as much as possible and print in landscape orientation, and that would fill the sheet with a printed portion of a drawing to a scale as large as possible and still be readable ( I am trying to get as much of the 24 x 36 original on one 8.5 x 11 as possible).
However with my new laptop and its widescreen (16:9) display, doing this leaves a substantial amount of sheet blank, and I am forced to do a work-around by connecting the old monitor to the laptop.
Is there a solution to this?

You don't select a page size when exporting to PDF, but you can add the crop marks in the export dialog.
Acrobat and Reader will both automatically center the PDF when it is printed, but it's up to the print shop what size paper they use. Make sure they don't scale the print to fit the sheet.
