C309g not finding any wireless networks. Won't print off bluetooth either.

The C309g will not find any networks at all. Even when scanning from the machine and when doing it through the computer setup. Even typed in the SSID but still no link. Bluetooth will connect but will not communicate once I unplug the USB cord.

So when I restart the machine I can get the bluetooth light on and my computer to recognize it, but it still will not print. The device remains unconnected in the bluetooth setting on my computer. After that I will try and play with it again, but this time the only option in bluetooth settings is to activate the bluetooth radio and even though I hit On the blue light still doesn't come on.
As far as the wireless network, is there any tests I can run to test my radio or do I just have to take it back to best buy? Is it a common problem?

  • My mac can not find any wireless networks, my mac can not find any wireless networks

As of a couple weeks ago my can not find wireless networks even though they exist.  I try to refresh the scan with no luck.

Is your router plugged in?  Do you have internet?
    Come on...
I have the same issue.  Yesterday I could connect to my wifi just fine, but today I turned on my wifi and the wheel just spins and spins.  I restart my phone and I get the "greyed out" wifi switch. So I restart, and I'm back to square one.  The wheel just keeps spinning.
I've updated the router firmware, I've power cycled everything multiple times, and still nothing.
Can anyone give a real solution? Or do we just have to suffer until apple update this **** IOS6?

  • I have an ipad first generation.  I am trying to connect to a linksys router and it is not finding the wireless network.  what do i need to do?

I have an ipad first generation.  I am trying to connect to a linksys router and the ipad is not finding the wireless network.  What do I need to do?  Thanks for your help.

    Some things to try first:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
        •    Launch Settings app
        •    Tap on Wi-Fi
        •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

  • My macbook air 2013 will not find any wireless printers

My macbook air 2013 with OS X 10.9.3 will not find any wireless printers. I've tried to add printers at a number of different locations and each time it fails to find any printers despite one's being online and fully functional. I am able to print from my iPhone on these networks to the wireless printers but my macbook air won't find any at all? The macbook air is online using the wifi network no problem - just won't find any printers, please help.

You can download and run the free application Bonjour Browser. It will show whether the printer is detectable on the network. The printer should show up in one or more of the following categories:
    Internet Printing Protocol
    Print Spooler
    Printer PDL Data Stream
    Remote I/O USB Printer

  • Re: Satellite A350D - Does not find any WLAN network

Because the e-mail-support page doesn't works at the moment (after sending a message I only get a blank page) I will ask my question here.
Since maybe 2 or 3 months my connection to WLAN-networks is really bad. I have nothing changed, neither the Windows version (Windows 7) nor drivers, but it does not work as good as it was.
    Some examples:
I'm sitting 5 metres away from the wlan router. Only a wall is seperating. The notebook does not find any wlan-network. With my HP notebook the connection is good. I'm sitting on the desk where the router stands. The notebook finds the network, but Windows says connection seems to be only average or bad. My HP notebook has the best connection rating.
Anybody here who can help or can say how I contact the support per e-mail without getting only this blank page?
    Greetings Schlachtvieh

    Hey,
After WLAN driver update make also sure that power saving mode is disabled for WLAN card. You can do this in Windows Power Management.

Driver update in such cases its always advisable but in my case it was the power saving of WLAN card. :)

  • Apple TV does not find AirportExpress wireless network

    Hi all,
this problem is driving me nuts, maybe someone here can help.
At the moment I have an Apple TV in our living room. There is an AirportExpress device in the same room, which is creating a wireless network (WAP/WAP2 Personal, name "BNK") and is connected to a DSL modem.
All computers (my MacBook Pro, my wife's Sony laptop) easily find the wireless network, whether they are in the living room or in any other room of our apartment.
The Apple TV, however, never finds our network - it gives me a list of many other networks from our neighbors, but our own network is never in the list. This even happens when the Apple TV is about 2 meters away from the AirportExpress.
Does anyone have any idea why the Apple TV is not picking up the network signal? Do I need to have a stronger WLAN access point because of potential interferences from the other networks? But why are the computers working fine, then?
    Thanks a lot and cheers,
    Bastian

I see this post has remained unanswered. But as I have a similar problem I am hoping someone will answer.
I recently bought an Apple TV and hooked it up to my Sony 46" HD LCD TV.
    My desktop is an iMac
The internet connection is through the Airport express conected to an ADSL touter.
The wireless network is working and I have access to internet through my iMac or other laptops.
While installing AppleTV it detects my network but seems does not connect to internet.
As a result while it synchronises with iTunes it fails to download from the internet directly. I am unable to upgrade to the latest version or play youTube or images from my mobileMe account.
I have tried figuring out the problem but unable to do so. Thanks for your help.

I turned on my Macbook today only to find that no wifi networks are showing up, not even the neighbors! Im connected to the eather right now. My roommates laptop PC can connect fine. I need some help fixing it. Why is it not finding ANY networks at all?

Open System Profiler and check if the compter can still recognize your wireless device. Try resetting the SMC as well and see if this helps.

ipod touch just lost all wi-fi capabilities. full restore as new ipod did nothing to change it. • X31: not detecting any wireless network

My IBM thinkpad is not detecting any network when my wireless router is on. I have checked the windows zero configration and it shows that it has started. The radio signal is also lighted and shown at the centre of the display bottom. My thinkpad is using the cisco pci wireless lan adapter and I have also check the driver, it show working. When I use a USB wireless adapter it can detect my router and connect.
Why cant my internal wireless adapter detect  my router when the radio signal is on , windows zero configration started and the pci wireless card enable already.
    Thanks,
    alvin

try to run the PC-Doctor diagnostic on the laptop wireless card.

  • Ipad can not see any wireless networks

So I updated my iPad's operating system last night, and my wireless connection to my home network worked fine. Now I'm at work (in a midtown Manhattan office building, where my laptop recognizes about 50 networks) and it can't see a thing.
I don't have the ability to unplug the router, and at any rate this is clearly an internal issue as it's not missing one network, it's missing dozens. I've restarted, reset wifi, reset network settings, toggled airplane mode, etc etc etc. Any other suggestions? Inevitably, it's on an afternoon I have a major facetime appointment.

Try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.

  • Wireless Adapter Cannot Find Any Wireless Networks

    Hi,
I have a problem with my Wireless Network Adapter. As the picture shows below (cannot post image yet), although my Wireless Network Adapter is not connected to the Internet (no red X next to it), but it looks like connected!
I've tried to enable/disable it, but no luck. I tried to re-install the driver, but the same!
    So, what's the problem?
    Notes:
    - OS: Windows 7 installed in Toshiba laptop.
    - WiFi Adapter is Intel, supports 802.11a/g/Draft-N.
    - WiFi Adapter appears normally in Device Manager (no marks).

    Thanks guys for your answers.
To clarify the issue, the network adapter isn't connected to Internet, but it seems to be connected (don't know connected to what!)
When I run the command "netsh interface show interface" in the command prompt, it displays:
    Admin State State
    Type Interface Name
    Enabled    Connected
           Dedicated
    Wireless Network Connection
So, it let me be confused, what Network this Wifi adapter is connected to?!!

  • HELP!!  AirPort card not detecting any wireless networks?!?

hi, i just had an AirPort extreme card installed in my PowerBook G4, and so far, everywhere i try to access wireless, all it says is "no AirPort networks in range."
I have AirPort turned on, and AirPort and "automatic" and "DHCP"selected in Network preferences, and i have the little icon with the gray bars in the top menu bar, but the lines are always gray, even when everyone around me is getting wireless just fine.
I don't know if this matters, but i don't have a base station or anything at home - i only got wireless to use at cafes, etc, or on university campus where they have wireless. at home i just have a free dialup service, so i use a modem.
Also, i'm really confused reading these posts - everyone's talking about "naming" networks, and passwords, and IP addresses, but the apple guy said that once the card is in and AirPort is on, it should just "pick up" whatever network is available. is that true?
if it's working, does the "name" of the random, supposedly "open" and available network in the cafe/hotel/school building just magically "appear" on the menu? Or do i have to do something or configure something each time to set it up? i just really don't understand and no one seems to be able to help. and i just spent a lot of money on this card. can anyone please help???!!?!?
I even opened it up again and checked to make sure the little cable was clicked firmly into the card, and it sure looked like it was.
    thanks!!!!

Double check that the antenna cable is FULLY seated into its socket on the Airport card - doing this properly takes a fair bit of force.
If your Mac's Airport interface is working properly, indeed all you need to do is click on the Airport menu item. A list of all in-range wireless networks will be shown, and you can simply click (to connect) on the name of the network you wish to join. Just like magic!

  • TS1398 My iPhone is not recognizing any wireless networks.

My iPhone just stopped recognizing wireless networks. I've tried the website troubleshooting and it doesn't help. I even manually typed in the network and password. Nothing has worked. I've only had this phone for 8 months.

If the website troubleshooting doesn't help - whatever that was, call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby.

  • MBP can't find any wireless networks

I am running os 10.5.1, and last week or so, i was connecting to my network fine, but every so often i would join the network for about a minute, then losing connection, then getting it back for a second and going back off until my mbp required a restart, working for a while then screwing up in the same fashion. however it simply cannot see the network now. In the meantime my ibook running os 10.4.11 was, and still is, running as normal without any problem.
    any ideas?
the modem's fine, everything is set up as it should be.
is there any way i can reset the airport settings? or like all the network settings?
    Mitchypoo xxx

A lot of people are complaining. There is no answer to this problem. If you performed the upgrade installation of Leopard, I can suggest you go into System Preferences/Network/ and delete the AirPort network service (select and press the "-" sign in the lower left hand corner of the window), then redefine the AirPort network service (select and press the "+" sign in the lower left hand corner of the window). Reboot the computer and test it out.
Some have said that the migration from 10.4 to 1.5 corrupts these network services.
You might want to see if your router has the most current firmware available as well.
