C3PO App Rights

Hi
my c3po app runs fine with admin rigths! But if i use only USER rigths,
groupwise hangs on startup logo !?
any suggestions?
regards
Joerg Daehler

There is a "Common" tab that can setup rights that will be assigned to users
when they are associated to the application object.
User's will have these rights inside and outside of the application object.
The File tab for practical purposes has no function for application objects.

  • How to use BlazeDS and a JavaWeb app right

    Hello,
I have a java backend app for a Flex front end app, all glued fine and dandy using blazeDS. I got it to work by copying all the config files and the jar files to my java app.
My question is, is this the right way to do it?
All the examples just say to deploy blazeDs.war additionally to the java app. I did not wanted this, so I ended up doing it the other way.

That's quite alright! Just copy the following files to your web application and you are good to go:
    BLAZEDS/WEB-INF/classes/commons-logging.properties to YOURAPP/WEB-INF/classes
All the .jar files from BLAZEDS/WEB-INF/lib to YOURAPP/WEB-INF/lib/
The BLAZEDS/WEB-INF/flex directory to YOURAPP/WEB-INF (i.e. your WEB-INF directory has to contain a flex sub folder with the xml configuration files)

  • Error on installing the app right after purchasing!!?? Help!

Right after I've downloaded a game (lego harry potter)....it gave a message : "the server gave an error during download : 403 Forbidden" .....whats happening???!!! Please help

Same here. Might have been a temporary problem? Can you confirm this? I've been struggling with this since yesterday. Before I had no problems... Very annoying, as it feels like you're the only one, and you look for a local problem.

  • HT2623 transfer apps rights from @mac to @icloud

Is it possible to transfer app bought from @mac.com to @icloud.com? (Now, I need authorise the computer for old accounts when upgrade apps bought long ago.)

    No, apps cannot be transferred.
But if the part before the @ of the accounts you want to transfer apps between is the same, then they are the same account, and no transferring is necessary. You can use your [email protected] or [email protected] AppleID interchangeably.

  • HT2731 What if i don not have an existing visa right now and i want to download the free iphone 5s apps?

I have just made an apple ID but i can not continue downloading free apps because of VISA info which has some problems with my bank. What can i do to start downloading free apps right now?

You will need to create a new account, and follow the instructions on this page when creating it : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
If you don't use those instructions then valid credit card details will need to be entered on the account before you will be able to use it download any item from the store

  • Give ZEN app file system rights so can install without user login

    ZfD 6.5.2 NW 6.5.5
Is it possible to give an app rights to the file system on a Netware
box to find the msi it needs to install even if there isn't a user
    logged in to the workstation?
We have an app associated with workstations and when we tried to push
it a number of installs failed because the users were logging on
    workstation only.
This is also relevant to apps which install as "unsecure system user"
because they do not inherit the logged-in user's Netware file system
rights. In the past we've given the [public] trustee rights in order to
get round this problem but would like a better solution.

  • Video out from ABC app to my TV

I have ABC's app that allows me to watch their shows. It works fine on the iPad, but when I connect an Apple Composite AV cable to my TV all I get is sound. No video. I have my iPad set to video NTSC but I don't get it on my TV. Any ideas out there? Thanks.
    donald

Only a few apps right now support the Video Out function... the developer is tasked with making their apps compatible with this...over time more and more will I assume... For now only a few native apps are like the Movies in iPod section or the Keynote App (strangely Pages and Numbers are NOT supporting video out currently)

  • I have problem to open some app, they close and don't open

    Somebody help me

No I don't want you to buy another app. The idea is to download the app right on the iPad itself and see if that helps reset the other apps. Pick any free app - don't buy an app.
Or - See if this helps at all - close all apps and restart the iPad.
In order to quit or close apps - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

  • Deducted amount from my Account for the downloading Free App

I have an ipad air Wifi When i am trying to download FREE APPS, it is asking for the Billing Information, when i authorize my billing account, 60 Rupees per application is deducted from my Bank Account.
My question is, if it is a Free Apps, Itunes is deducting 60 Rupees per application then its of no use of downloading the FREE APPS right. Is it a normal practice that itunes deducts money even if it is a free apps. If it not,
please credit that money back to my account.

It shouldn't actually be deducted at all.   The document explains what happens.   60 rupees is equal to $1US and that is the same for all over the world.   If your monthly statement begins to show deductions you must talk first to your bank.
If it becomes a bigger problem, take it up with Apple via >>>

  • How do I delete all or multiple synced apps from iTunes where the app has already been removed from iPad?

I have recently purchased the latest iPad and been trying lots of apps.  These apps are synced with iTunes on a regular basis.  I want to delete synced apps from my iTunes backup that I have removed from my iPad.
I am aware of a manual way of removing apps from the iTunes backup but it is far too painful and cumbersome.  You have to select the iPad under devices, click the apps tab up the top, and then see which items are not ticked (which runs very slow I might add, but it is a big list).  After noting them down, I then visit the apps section under library on the left, highlight all the unwanted apps, right click and delete.
Unless there is some special way of doing this that I am un aware of, it would be really helpful if the libary application view had a column which informed me which ones were still on my iPad.  I could then sort by that column, and then delete all the removed apps.

Yes, delete all the apps currently in iTunes, then transfer all the apps currently on the iPad back into iTunes. Of course it will take some time to sync the apps back into iTunes, but it satisfies your desire to remove all apps from iTunes that are not on your iPad without the need to laboriously note what is and is not there. In fact as a bonus after removing all the apps from iTunes you could open the ..\iTunes Media\Mobile Applications folder and delete any remaining orphaned files that might still be there, before you transfer purchases.

  • App store will not accept my Apple ID for updates after installing Mavericks?

I have recently installed Mavericks on my Macbook Pro.  After installing it the two new updates for iPhoto and iMovie popped up.  I click on the 'update' icon and I am prompted for my Apple ID as usual.  After entering the correct ID the prompt disappears as if correct, but then re-appears asking for the password again.  The prompt does not actually say that the wrong Apple ID or password has been entered.  The updates do not install and the prompt remains.  I know I have the right ID because I can install other apps using the same ID.  I definitley have the right Apple ID.  Now I cannot open iPhoto because it says that the application is not compatible with the OS!  Has anyone got any tips on how to install these new updates and get around this error?  Any help would be appreciated.

Following the info from support I enrolled into something called Mac Up to Date program, then you give them your serial number, invoice, etc... and then they seem to review the information and decide whether you qualify or not. I am still waiting for the answer, but I seem to be eligible (bought my new iMac on the 2nd of October and a few days after it was announced that all new Macs would receive iWork for free, so I guess my computer qualifies as 'new' - it is a late 2013 model after all).
But right now all iWork apps still appear to me as paid apps on the Mac App Store. It would be much easier if they appeared as free apps right away, but it seems the Mac App Store is a bit temperamental. And then there is the problem with the iMovie and iPhoto updates, which some of us are unable to get and that it is not even generally acknowledged by the support staff.
All these issues with the App Store are surprising for a company that takes pride in making things 'easy'

  • Iphone apps .... how do I get my old 3GS apps onto my new iphone4?

I am sure this has been asked many times before, but help me please because I just don't get it.
My Iphone 3GS was synched to my macbook itunes but the hard drive in my notebook failed and had to be replaced. So now with my new iphone how do I get those apps which I paid for already? When I hook up my iphone to my macbook to sync the apps, it tells me that all the apps on my new phone (which I have already placed several apps) will be erased and synced to the 3 apps on my macbook in the itunes library.
And when I go into my itunes account it lists all the apps that I have purchased, but they don't appear in the itunes app tab on my macbook, and so they won't sync. So someone in another post said to just download the app again and you won't be charged.... but I had a bad experience with that on my Ipad (downloaded an app right after I got the Ipad--> Ipad crashed (or maybe it was me) and had to restore the Ipad-> had to re-download the app and got charged for it again. Emailed apple and they said too bad but made a one time exception and credited my account. I am afraid that they will definitely not be willing to do this again).
So exactly how does this work?.... I am afraid to try to sync my new phone because it will erase the apps I already loaded and won't re-install apps already purchased.

By design, the iphone will sync itunes content with one computer at a time. Any attempt to sync such content with a second computer will result in ALL itunes content being first erased from your phone & then replaced with the content from the second computer. This is a design feature and cannot be overridden. Because you replaced your hard drive, your phone will see your computer as a "new" computer and all itunes content will first be deleted from your phone. The itunes content sync is one way: computer to phone. If you have photos that were synced to your phone or music ripped on your own that were not backed up, you will first have to extract them from your phone using third party software:
    http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/touchcopy/index.php
Once you've done that, do the following in the order specified:
    1. Disable auto sync when an ipod/iphone is connected under preferences in itunes.
    2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in iCal & Address Book. The entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
    3. Connect your phone, itunes running, do not sync at this point.
    4. Store>Authorize this computer.
    5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on your phone will be in your itunes library).
    6. Right click(Control Click) in the device pane & select reset warnings.
    7. Right click again and select backup.
    8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
    9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore your itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding your contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
That's as good as it gets without a backup of your itunes library.

  • HT204053 I tried to gift someone something but the credit card I was on my account wasn't any good and I don't have access to a credit card... Problem is now it won't let me do anything like DL FREE apps n stuff until I enter a valid credit card but I don

Now I'm screwed cuz I don't have a valid CC to use and I can't do a **** thing until iTunes or AppStore gets me to enter a valid CC... Problem is I could just create a new account but I have about $100 loaded onto this account I'm currently using... Is there anything I can do at this point? Besides go spend money on a prepaid credit card which I don't have money for and enter that info in??? Please help!! I can't even  download FREE apps right now or ANYTHING basically cuz of this **** gift thing I was trying to send! This is what I get for being nice I guess! I figured since I had close to $100 in my iTunes/AppStore account it would take the money for the gift from that but noooooo it tried to use the credit card  I had on file!! Ugh

You can't use your account's balance for gifting, you can only use a credit card - your balance can only be used to buy content for yourself. Until you pay what you owe iTunes then you won't be able to download any items from the store on that account.
If you haven't got a valid credit card then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they can cancel the gift or take what you owe them from your balance: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
