Sounds like you want the "classic layout" (as in, the way Mail looked before Lion). Go to Mail -> Preferences, click the Viewing icon and check "Use classic layout."

I need help, retrieving a combo boxes actual value, not the export value.
I have a combo box with multiple options to select from.
each of those selections has a separate export value, which is in the form of a number, which I use to calculate dates in a separate field.
However, I have another field that i want to retrieve the, users selected value, which is text, from the combo box instead of the export value.
Is there an easy way to do this.
This is what I am currently using. But like I said the results are that I retrieve the export value and not the selected text value.
event.value = this.getField("_Arugula").valueAsString;

First get the currentValueIndices property of the combo box and use it with the getItemAt field method to return (what I call) the display value. Something like:
var f = getField("combo1");
var display_value = f.getItemAt(f.currentValueIndices, false);

Firefox 4 Beta has problem when printing shipping pages from Amazon Marketplace, it shows and prints strange symbols instead of the packing slip and the label. Do you have any idea why is that?

Well, I installed it 2 days ago and yesterday when I tried to print a packing slip and a label for Amazon customers it printed so many strange symbols that were nothing like what they are supposed to be, not even close. When I printed it with another browser it was all fine, so it is obviously a problem of the new version of my favorite browser. Probably something with the encoding, but since I'm not a computer geek, I cannot give more info. :(

We encounter an error in PLD. When bussiness partner has bill to address in SG. our PLD is printing this country as SG intead of the whole name Singapore

u have to change the address format in administration ,
there u have to select the country field and check the description check box.
Then u can see the singapore.

Address labels printing all addresses instead of the ones chosen...

I created a group and when I was ready to print addresses from the group, I went to "edit distribution list" so that I could choose the correct address for the contacts that had multiple addresses. After sifting through 280 contacts, it still printed all addresses within that group.
Any suggestions?

Are you changing the 'Addresses:' drop down every time you try to print the distribution list? I don't think it will remember that setting, I think it reverts back to 'All'.
I have two lists that I do a monthly mailing for. I only had to go through the edit distribution list once for each group, to pick which address to use, but every time I go to print the labels, I have to go back to the 'Label' tab and change the drop down from All to Distribution List (__).

No line border and text in book is printed in black instead of dark blue

Just ordered my first photo book, and found that the text in the book is printed in black instead of the dark blue I thought I had used. I was advised by Apple to remove the 'plist' (had no idea what that was but found some info on Google) by dragging it onto my desktop, then log out and log in again and open the book again and once more choose the right color for the text, and then check the book as PDF in Preview before ordering it again.
I've done that and the text is now the color I want it to be, so I could go ahead and order it again now, I guess. Meanwhile that plist is still on my desktop - what should I do about that?
Besides, before ordering the book again I'd like to solve another problem with it, for which Apple didn't give me a solution, and that is that only part of the line borders in my Line Border Theme photo book are visible. There are no lines around a single photo per page (so the photo is not 'framed' so to speak), and on pages with several photo's there are only lines between photo's but not on the outside.
Any ideas anybody?
Ps. I should add that Apple was very decent about returning my money right away (besides the two things I just mentioned, the book was also slightly damaged), but didn't answer all my questions.
I really would like to get the book right and printed though.

the file com.apple.iPhoto.plist contains your iPhoto preferences and when you launch iPhoto and there is none a fresh new reference file is created so you can throw the old one away

Hi All,
Our development PC Now using the minimum recommended hardware requirement : CPU 2- 2.4 GHZ and memory 1 GB.
Its getting slow now.
Before we invest more, does anybody know, will it help if with same CPU I add more memory to become 2 GB ?

Obviously, no guarantees....
Our team noticed quite a difference going from 1GB to 2GB on laptops, but we are also running Oracle databases on the same machines in some cases..... If you're concerned about the expense, why not try it one one PC?

Just for those who are interested, this is what cleared the "bookmark menu" trbl I had.
Open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Bookmarks, then reselect it.
Quit and relaunch Safari. Try a bookmark again.

My webpage is created using dynamic field therefore it had to be save as .php.
The problem now is when i want to print the page it prints code instead of the actual page. Is the a solution for this problem?

I think you're confused by what you're seeing.
When I print > preview your on-line page in Firefox, I see the page content and links -- which may look like code to you, but they're not revealing anything abnormal.   These are just links to other pages.

Perhaps that's why what you see in print doesn't match what you see on screen.
If you want a print out of the screen display, do a screengrab with your print screen key. Paste content it into your favorite graphics editor.

There are different templates for iPhoto books and they differ from version of iPhoto to iPhoto, so explore the other options.
