C4C Integration with ECC (popup in ECC during connection)

Hi,
can someone please help me, to find the issue when sending e.g. customer master from ECC to C4C via HCI.
In ECC I receive the following popup asking about username/password on HCI.... I activated certificate based authentication....
¨
Thank you!
Florian

Hello Florian,
yes the client certificate must be signed by one of the CA's refered in this link:
SAP HANA Cloud Integration
this is because of the security and load belancing environment in front of your HCI tenant.
A self signed certificate will just be removed there and therefore you receive an http 401 error.
Best regards,
Berthold

  • C4C Integration with HubSpot.

    Hi Team,
Appreciate if someone can shed knowledge on C4C Integration with HubSpot for Master Data (to & fro).
    Below are my concerns;
If HubSpot can consume C4C web-services to update data.
Also whether C4C can consume Hubspot web-services or not for updating data back to C4C.
    Regards,
    K.F.

    Hi  K.F,
I have never tried but if they are using .NET ,Java or PHP platform then we can consumer C4C web service into that.
Please check the Help Center in C4C and search "Web Service" and there is a topic called Sample Code for Consume Web Service into C# and Java code.
Also C4C is capable to consumer SOAP as well as REST web services.

Yes. This is possible to do as a custom project leveraging the API's that are available from SAP Cloud for Customer. Thank you.

  • SCCM 2012 integration with SCOM 2012 - Disable Alerts during patching

Have SCCM 2012 R2 and SCOM 2012 R2 and use the Software Update Patching process for servers.  When using the checkbox to "Disable Operations Manager Alerts when this program runs" option have noticed on completion of the job and the target
server is rebooted, a scheduled task appears for a short time titled "SCOM 2007 Agent Resume Task".  The task disappears and there is no history to view.
Is this a legacy naming convention from 2007 world when the maintenance mode is turned off from the SCCM patching process?
How do I see the actual code behind the SCCM and SCOM integration with Maintenance mode to validate it.

SCCM should use the following SCOM SDK to do that.
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb437532.aspx
That's incorrect. There is no API or method to put an OpsMgr agent into maintenance mode on the client itself -- maintenance mode is a centrally controlled feature of OpsMgr. The API/code sample you linked is performing that activity on the management server
which assumes you know the management server name and have permissions to carry out the action -- neither of which is fulfilled by the ConfigMgr agent.
The ConfigMgr agent pauses the OpsMgr client agent service and also unloads the workflows from the OpsMgr agent (it only did the first part in ConfigMgr 2007). This effectively puts the agent in Maintenance Mode (although to my knowledge this is not directly
    reflected in the OpsMgr console).

  • C4C integration with ECC 5.0

    Guru,
My company is looking for implementing cloud for customer, but our backend system is running on ECC 5.0.
SAP had strongly recommended us to upgrade our ECC before implementing C4C project.
Through some reading, it seems that integration prerequisite is ECC has to be version 5.0
Or there is any workaround to integrate (standard integration) C4C to ECC 5.0 through HCI? Like by applying or enhancing standard iflow that released for ECC 6.0?
    Thanks.
    Cheers,
    Jim

Not sure where you have read that ECC 5.0 would be supported. The official SAP position is summarised in the table below. You can clearly see that some functionalities even depends on what EHP level you are at with ECC 6.0.
SAP PI and HCI leverage the same iFlow content.

  • C4C integration with Oracle

    Hi,
We are currently exploring the possibility of integrating SAP Cloud for Customer with Oracle database. Can anyone please elaborate the available options, if any. Does Oracle provide adapters or webservices for integration?

C4Service and C4Sales are public cloud solutions, meaning the only way you can get data in and out are:
    1. Public APIs
    2. Flat files (CSV/XML files to mass upload/download data)
    3. HCI/PI (which basically call our Public APIs to get data in and out of C4C)
There are no other ways as a customer to get data in and out. With these typical public cloud characteristics, my recommendation is that if you need to get data in C4C from a database, I would use SAP Data Services On Premise. It is a great ETL (extraction, transformation, load) tool that has a bunch of adapters to extract data such as from the Oracle database, transform/clean the data so that it is in a format that C4C can accept, and then load the data into C4C either calling the C4C bulk load APIs (Option 1) or create flat files (Option 2) which an admin needs to manually upload the data into C4C.

  • Integration with JMS Weblogic server, Couldn't connect to any host

    Hi ,
I am doing XI to JMS integration(weblogic JMS server) ,have created a communication channel of type JMS and gave the following parameters.
Transport Protocal  : Access JMS Provider with JNDI
    Message protocal    : JMS 1.X
    JNDI Lookup name with
    queueconnectionfactory :MyJMSConnectionFactory
JNDI Lookup name with JMS Queue : MyJMSQueue
Name of JNDI initial context factory : weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory
    <b>JNDI Server Address: http://isccap:7001/</b>
all these parameters are working fine when used in a Client java program by which i am able to put and retrive message from Weblogic JMS server queue.
But the same is not working in XI adapter ,
I am getting the following error in adapter monitoring
Zsrl_JMS_Reciever Receiver channel. Details: <u>Couldn't connect to any host</u>
I guess the problem is with <b>JNDI Server Address: http://isccap:7001/</b>
Is the format "http://host:port"  correct for weblogic server,
are the JMS port and JNDI port same or different .
I have deployed the required drivers "wlclient.jar" in XI server .
    Thanks in advance ,
    srikanth Lanka

weblogic works on the Tenga3 protocol and hence the URL to connect to the JNDI provider of weblogic is
    t3://host:port
At least in case of Weblogic you connect to your J2EE resources using your JNDI registry so the port would be the same.

  • Impact on ERP integration with C4C using PI

    Hi All,
We are about to install the add-on for C4C integration with ERP in ECC system. But before doing wanted to validate/confirm few things -
    1. The add-on seems to support all new versions of ECC, does this include ECC on HANA ?
    2. Is it necessary to backup the environment before installing the add-on ?
    3. The component seems to be isolated from impacting any ECC functionality and its just for the purpose of integrating C4C with ECC. Would this mean that no regression testing is required in ECC ?
    4. The component doesn't seems to have an uninstall option which would meant that any reverts could only be done through system backup only. Is this accurate ?
    Appreciate your quick response.
    Regards,
    Pola

    1. The add-on seems to support all new versions of ECC, does this include ECC on HANA ? --> The add-on supports all release of ECC above the base release mentioned in the Integration guide, including ECC on HANA
    2. Is it necessary to backup the environment before installing the add-on ? --> The Add-On does not contain any DB tables. It should not interfere with the ECC environment, so you can install these without any disruption or downtime. As part of general hygiene, you may want to make sure that there is a recent enough backup for the ECC system.
    3. The component seems to be isolated from impacting any ECC functionality and its just for the purpose of integrating C4C with ECC. Would this mean that no regression testing is required in ECC ?
No regression testing is required for ECC standard functionality. It will not affect existing distribution models. You will have to set up new ones for Cloud for Customer Integration scenarios.
    4. The component doesn't seems to have an uninstall option which would meant that any reverts could only be done through system backup only. Is this accurate ? --> There is no uninstall option.

  • RoboHelp V6 - Using Context Sensitivity with SAP R/3 ECC 6.0

We are creating online help/procedures using RoboHelp,
Version 6. We are also upgrading from SAP R/3 4.6c to SAP R/3 ECC
6.0. ECC 6.0 has different backend coding than 4.6c that does not
allow us, at the moment, to implement context sensitivity. My
question is this: Can RoboHelp V6 be integrated with SAP R/3 ECC
6.0 that will allow for context sensitivity? Does coding exist for
this to happen? What must take place for this to work properly? Any
    assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to the forum.
I can't help you on the coding side but is using a URL an
option? If it is, then see my site where I explain how to call
webhelp using URLs. That includes how to open the help pointing to
a specific topic, thus giving you context sensitive help.

  • ECC 6.0 integration with MS Dynamics CRM 2011 on-demand thru PI

    Hi Gurus,
sorry in advance if some of my doubts will appear to you experts as stupid....
Scenario: we're on the way to realize the integration between SAP ECC and Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online (so...in the cloud) using SAP PI 7.11. In our scenario SAP PI will be the client, consuming webservices provided by MS CRM.
Unfortunately during the PI configuration (following SAP HELP instructions) we're facing the following problems:
    1. The system (PI, dual-stack installation) has the parameter 'ssl/pse_provider' set to 'ABAP'. Considering that we would like to use SSL with SOAP adapter, questions are:
      - Can we use the ABAP stack to maintain the PSEs, or it's mandatory to do it into the AS Java in order to use SSL with SOAP adapter.
    - If so, we need to switch the ssl/pse_provider parameter to JAVA. Could this change create some kind of problems?
For information, currently in transaction STRUST we only have a Local node, neither Server nor Client nodes.
    2. We have already installed the SAP Cryptographic Library for SSL but:
      - In NWA we can't find ICM_SSL_<instance_ID> view or CLIENT_ICM_SSL_<instance_ID> keystore view into the list of Keystore Views.
      - We would like to change the default Profile into RZ10 but we Can't find the profile...
      - MS CRM (ws server) give us only a public certificate but do we need a private key too or we have to generate it from SAP?
      - We need to know if is possible to use the MS 'LIVEID' authentication with SAP PI or SAP ECC.
      - Do we need additional modules for the SOAP adapter(maybe an Axis one in order to use soap protocol 1.2)?
Could you please suggest the right configuration and give us some tips about this kind of integration?
    Thanks a lot,
    MR

    Hi Mauro,
Looking at your background I thought maybe you could help me out wit this integration question.
I'm looking for some feedback on how best to integrate Microsoft Dynamics AX (DAX) with SAP CRM. We have a PI server.
From reading on the net, I see many people are using a middleware product called Scribe or BizzTalk. We already made an investment with SAP PI and we'd like to use it.
Do you have any references for Microsoft DAX integration with SAP CRM via SAP PI/ XI?
    Thanks in advance!

  • How is the integration with ECC in SRM 7.0??

    Hi,
Working with SRM 5.0 or 5.5  the use of XI for integration with ECC is not mandatory because when we send any document from ECC to SRM like requisitions (to convert them in shopping cards) or when we send any document from SRM to ECC like shopping cards, PO´s, contracts,  we only use the RFC´s and the abap programs.
Is the same behavior with SRM 7.0?????
Could the integration from SRM 7 with ECC 6 work with RFC´S without XI or for this vertions is XI mandatory?????
    Thanks

SRM70 is closely integrated with XI for transferring docs between ECC and SRM.  SAP introduces eSOA tech nology with SRM70 and hence all documents like PR from ECC to SRM, Central Contract from SRM to ECC, PO creation (Classic), etc uses this techn ology.
    Thanks,
    Jagadish

  • ECC 6.0 integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

    Hi All
I am working on a ECC 6.0 integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. I need to send the customer master data, va01/va02, vl01n/vl02n/ vf01/vf02 to CRM system. One option I have is to send in the form of IDOC with TRFC - TCP/IP. But looks like this needs a middleware like Biztalk.
Is there a way I can send this data using a Internet service in ECC 6.0 ??? As this would cut the cost of the Biztalk.
I really appriciate your thoughts on this. We don't have XI either.
    Thanks a lot
    Van

    HI Van Dan Jan,
We have just implemented integarion of SAP with Microsoft stack (Microsoft CRM, Share point and Axapta), But in all integration BizTalk as a middleware used.
There is two way requirements :
    1. whenever Most of the control are at the Microsoft level like : Customer creation, Creation of orders, which need to be synchronus activity we have used RFC which internally calls BAPI. (So SAP adapter Configured at BizTalk). and whenever Biztalk receives request file from CRM or share point to there location they call SAP RFC's.
    2. When DATA is needed from SAP to microsoft stack like to syncronize the missing transaction like customer pad and all.
Scheduled job at BizTalk end which call SAP to get the DATA via RFC mode :
In SAP we have two things
    1.  if DATA size is small (below 2 MB) like  in last 1 hrs what are the sales contract created in SAP that need to updated in Microsoft other system than Biztalk will trigger a job at 1 hr interval or on deemand to get the detail which directly we pick from data base or using BAPI to get the detail via RFC.
    2. If Data Size is large (more than 2 MB)  like total transation happened in a day for all customers: then we wriiting the data in OS or application server  and that job also get initiated from Biztalk end by sending any parameter to SAP.
advantage of using BizTalk is most of the control you can give it to them so they can run there job on deemand basis.
There is a something known as web service we can use to avoid Interfacing tool, but I dont have much Idea about that,
and  please check how many interfacing point is there with SAP in your project, because if Interfacing points are more then I think it is not good to write a web services for so many things.
do let me know if you need further information.

  • Steps: SNC (Supplier Network Collaboration) Integration with ECC through XI

    Hi,
Has anyone worked on the SNC(Supplier Network Collaboration) integration with SAP ECC via SAP XI.
Could you pls share any documentation related to this. And also could anybody tell me the setup required to go ahead with the integration.
    Thanks,
    S

    Hi Xavier,
SNC integration with XI has predefined mappings. So ask your basis guys to download the XI content for SNC using with PI. Once they deployed you will have a builtin predefined content in XI. Within the predefined content mostly they all are xsl mappings.
If your requirement is with the standard idocs then you can use them directly. Else if their is customization they you may need to change the mappings according to your requirements.
    Also check this help:
