C5 message srting by HOUR?!

i have no idea if this is a bug or a feature, but in nokia c5, there is an option to sort by date, sender, type etc, but when it's set to sort by date, it actually sorts by hour. so messages 4 days old will be on top of the list if they have been received early in the morning. they will be higher than the messages received today but later in the day. And there is no option to sort it normaly, so that newest messages are on the top, oldes on the bottom.

it happened to me just now, after nokia sent me an update which i accepted my messages are logged/sorted by the hour and not by date anymore... HELPPPP

Backing up your mail
You can back up your mailboxes to a CD or another disk. To do this, you can either copy the Mail folder in your Library folder or create an mbox file, a common format for storing mail messages.
▪ To save the contents of all your mailboxes, hold down the Option key and drag the Mail folder to your desktop or to another disk. The Mail folder is in the Library folder in your home folder (~/Library/Mail).
Copying the Mail folder only backs up mail from POP accounts, or mail from an IMAP account that you've copied to On My Mac. When you are ready to restore the Mail folder, choose File > Import Mailboxes, select Mail for Mac OS X, and locate the Mail folder.
▪ To create an mbox copy of a mailbox, drag the mailbox from the mailbox list to your desktop.
▪ To create an mbox file with just some of your messages, select the messages, then choose File > Save As. In the Format pop-up menu, choose Raw Message Source, then enter a name and save the file.
You can copy mbox files to CDs or to other disks. When you want to restore your mail, choose File > Import Mailboxes, select "Standard mbox files," and locate the files.

Examples are given with maximum of 108,000 message processed per hours : Is - it an unbreakable limit ?
A client wants to integrate each quarter about 5,000,000 documents per day during a long week.
Does XI can support such huge numbers of simple messages (no BPM, simple mapping, file-to-file scenario) ?.

I had a Scenerio sending around 10 MB file from one interface, When we had XSLT mapping we had issue consuming lot of memory, When we made a simple mapping able to get desired result with time and later stage we decided to break the messages and send it. It was successfull,

Mac Mail deletes messages after 24 hours

Mac Mail started deleting my messages after 24 hours 6 days ago. I believe this is a OSX Lion issue as I run 10.8.2 on my main machine (iMac 27 Dec 2010) but I also have an old iMac G5 (2005) running OS X 10.5.8, and on ths machine my messages are not deleted. An additional problem is that new messages to all accounts remain marked as unread for less than an hour on the new machine but remained marked unread until they are read on the old machine. My sent messages are not deleted.
I use a private email address from my own domain for all of my emails, except for a very few on BTinternet and Yahoo adresses. My webmail for my domain also is having emails deleted after 24 hours. I have spoken to the domain host customer care (very helpful) but they cannot spot the issue. And as it doesn't happen with OS X 10.5.8 it seems to me that it cannot be either the host or my current provider BT. However, I have only switched to BT recently and this deletion problem only started once their service was fully up and operating ( which was a long and messy process leaving me utterly disenchanted with BT).
I also have an iPhone 4S using iOS6 which doesn't delete but also doesn't show new messages as unread on my private domain address. On the iPhone new messages to my BT and Yahoo accounts show as unread.
I have time machine running with an external hard drive so I can see old messages there but thats a laborious procedure and the whole thing is doing my head in. Anyone got any explanations or, better still, solutions.

I never had this problem, but just noticed it happening.. Please note it's a BUG. I went out and bought a 128GB iPhone just to hold all my songs. It wouldn't work. This never happened with the iPhone 3/3s/4/5/5s but started happening with the iPhone 6. After 40 hours of working through all possible solutions on the web and with Apple cares support (supposedly senior level) They finally suggested what the problem was. I had "Convert higher bit songs to 128 aac" Checked. This does not work One more thing when I unchecked that, the sync took like 3.5 hours instead of the 9-12 hours is usually took even on the smaller iphones. I have 98.7GB of music. Before I was just syncing a list of specific songs.
The syncing seems to be random when it has the problem though.

NEED HELP - Text Messages showing up hours later and no more notifications

Up until about 3 weeks ago, I was very in love with my S3 as it worked perfectly. Then about 3 weeks ago (March 12 or so) I started receiving my text messages hours or days after they were sent. We then went to Canada for a week and I had no mobile data. The issue with my messaging continued, except now I rarely get a notification when I get them. I have been back a week and it has gotten worse. The messages seem to come all at one time once or twice a day, there is no notification when they come, and I am occasionally missing messages. It does not matter who the messages are from. I have rebooted the phone multiple times. I have tried using Handcent SMS instead of the default messaging application to no avail.
Is there something going on with Verizon Text messages?
Is there another place to go besides the following to set notifications?

Menu
Settings
Notifications
Check everything, Default Ringtone, and Alert Once
Since this started before we went to Canada, I do not think that was the cause. Although, there were several times that I got the message Updating Sim Card information when we were there and I had the wrong time a lot of the time.

So today I go to send a text and get one from last night. Don't get the sound but it did show up on my notification bar. I sent the text and realized my clock was off by an hour. I went into settings, Date/Time and both are set to Automatic, but for some reason it is showing Central Time Zone. I uncheck Automatic Time Zone and set it to Mountain Time Zone, exit Settings, and perform a Shut-Down. Pull the battery, Sim Card, and SD Card and reboot the phone. Go back into Date/Time and reset it Automatic. This time it stays in the Mountain Time Zone.
Could I possibly need a new Sim Card?
Please Help. I really do not have time to go wait in line for an hour at the Verizon store for them to tell me that they will have to look into it and then not get back to me for a few weeks, if at all.

Weird Sync Message Every Half Hour

About Every half hour, I get the following message or something very similar from RIM. It is filling up my Blackberry and my Outlook Inbox and is very annoying. I deleted my e-mail once and it stopped for a few hours before resuming.
I am connecting to my Outlook through the Web. My e-mail is on an exchange server.

9/10 times this is caused from someone installing the blackberry desktop manager program as 'BES' rather than BIS...
The email you are getting is for when a device is to be connected to the Blackberry Enterprise Server within a company.
You have either install the Desktop manager program incorrectly (highly likely so uninstall it) and also check under options > advanced options > Enterprise Activation - that you have nothing in here..

If this happens for all the message in your BizTalk farm, then this issue is due to general health of the server but if it happens to a specific processing then this issue
is due to transaction between BizTalk and your destination system. I feel it’s more to do with second case –between BizTalk and a specific destination system.
Seems like you’re using some transactional adapter..may be WCF-SQL or SAP etc..anyway.
This issue normally occurs if the transaction handshake between BizTalk and destination has not happened on time. You can review you send port’s adapter’s time out property
(it different for adapter used). Check the status of the transaction/message at the destination systems.
Ideally, if a transaction takes longer time, it shall timeout and fail,check your timeout setting for timeout. One option on this to update machine.config file which will
change timeout setting for entire System.Transactions Namespace as mentioned in the following blog (this article not specific to WCF-SAP adapter, this discuss about

"Verifying updated iPhone software" message for 4 hours now, please help!

I'm trying to update to 1.1.1 for 4 hours now, and after downloading and extracting the "Verifying updated iPhone software . . ." message doesn't disappear, nor does it advance or anything.
my phone has never been hacked in any way nor have there been any 3rd party things installed. I signed up as a new at&t customer on day 2 of the iPhone release and never had any trouble till now.
I'm currently overseas and won't be back for the next month. so I've been using me iPhone as an iPod and mail device (wherever I have wireless access) since at&t isn't working here.
could that be why it is not verifying the software and "stuck" in this mode for more than 4 hours now?
I haven't gotten any of the error messages that are mentioned in the other threads, but I'm afraid to disconnect it, as I'm not sure what's going to happen.

never mind. I disconnected it, had to restore it to factory settings, but it all came back and now it's working with the new udpate!

Editing messages after the hour is up.

I have noticed that sometimes way after the hour time frame has gone I can edit or remove messages sometimes this doesn't happen all the time but it seems to happen if the person doesn't seem to have read it yet.
I sent a message earlier today but can still edit it or remove it even though several hours have passed but with earlier messages in the day I can't though I do not think the person has read the message that I can edit.
Just wondering if anyone knows why this could be happening , I have only ever seen old messages on this topic and they all say you can't edit after an hour so I am confused.

What I'm seeing today is the opposite: instead of the usual hour, it changes to other lesser times. An hour ago, it was 15 minutes. Then it became 30 minutes. Now it's up to 45.
What gives? I hope it's not in the process of being lowered to 15 minutes for all. A friend still has 60 right now. Same Skype version.

Blackberry Server Messages Every half hour

I have a 8330 curve for sprint
I have a work e-mail that when I use outlook, it requires a special server location on the outgoing mail. I set-up the mail on the phone through the mail wizard all I needed was the e-mail address and password. It worked great. I was shocked that it worked without needing to specify the pop and smtp addresses as well as the server settings.
It worked great for about a week. Then I started receiving communication e-mails from the blackberry server. It tells me not to move, delete, or relocate the e-mail. It made it seem as if the e-mails were going to stop. They never did.
Every 20-30 minutes I receive another message. Slightly different, spewing out a different set of number with the same end message.
I really need this phone for my work e-mail. I am almost willing to switch phones because of this issue.
Please get back to me with any help.

To change hours:
-Undo Teco
-Cancel Confimation(CN29)(Be informed this will also reverse cost if anything posted)
-Change hours to 10.
-Confirm and Teco again.

My company sends my iphone4 Urgent text messages during after hours. How can i have my iphone 4 alert me and wake me during after hours endlessly of a text message until I acknowledge Ive received the text message?

Any suggestions on how to make the IPHONE 4 continuously alert of an incoming text message until acknowledged?

You have a Verizon phone. 4.2.10 IS the current version for the Verizon iPhone. You don't have all the same options as on the GSM iPhones. This will be rectified when iOS 5 ships this fall.
I'm assuming the text messages you're getting are automated...? If not, you could always have a human being call you every few minutes until you answer if you don't respond to the page after a certain amount of time.

Text Messages & Calendar Time off by 1 Hour

Hi. Does anyone else have this problem? I can't seem to find it in the forum discussions when I search. Please direct me if I missed it.
My time zone is correct. Here's the situation. When I open the text message app all the messages are listed and the time in that location is correct. When I open any one of the contacts to view the text message it is ahead by one hour. To clarify..if you send me a text right now at 10:22. In the list it will show 10:22 but when I open up our discussion your message says it arrived at 11:22 even tho it isn't even 11:22 yet. All messages do this.
Calendar
The calendar acts similar. If I enter an appointment in SCHEDULE mode (the little arrow at the top changes the view) then all appointments will be ahead an hour but when you go into the appointment to view it..it says the correct time but views wrong. So viewing your day at a glance in this mode shows all appointments out by an hour. Because of this I have had to use my calendar in AGENDA mode or view so the times show up correctly and don't drive me crazy.

Thank you for pointing me to the post. Unfortunately the workaround doesn't work.
The only work around for this problem is to keep your calendar in Agenda mode for anyone else having same problem. And we have to live with the text messages being an hour off until an update comes which might be never in this province...yes a slam to Sasktel..thanks
