C5250 all in one carriage jam
After removing a paper jam, the carriage jam message appeared. I have done everything in the help section and the carriage moves freely. Is there anything else I can do to clear this?
Ciara,
got the printer back from my neighbor for some photos. Attached.
Let me know if this IS fixable or is this just another good printer that will go into
salvage or trash. The images are a bit blurry; sorry. Best I could do.
Sincerely,

HP PSC 2355 all-in-one unresolved carriage jam, with no paper jam found. I searched with flashlight through the back. Windows 7 64bit. Printer just out of 3 years in storage.
Twice I was able to bypass the problem and print a single page, but then the message returned: carriage jam.

HP officejet j4680 all-in-one paper jam issue
I bought HP officejet j4680 all-in-one two months ago from a dealer. Now it keeps telling me a "paper jam" which doesn't exist. I tried everything from the troubleshooting in HP website. The jam light just keeps blinking. Now I am so frustrated with this product.

HP 4185 deskjet all-in-one " Carriage Stalled"
Hello,
I have HP all in one 4185,i have recently encountered the problem of "CARRIAGE STALLED".I changed my black ink cartridge but its a while now,and i have started facing this problem about a week ago.
Printer wont print a single page and it displays the error msg,it completely depends on printer's mood when it wants to print, yes it makes some unusual sounds too.I have updated to latest version of SOLUTION CENTRE and have tried cleaning the rollers by opening the rear door of printer.
I have WinXp Sp2 and i think i have performed all the steps available on internet....Please Help!Thank you for clarifying.
I would suggest following these steps prior trying a clean boot:
1. Open Mcafee software, from the Virus and Spyware Protection section click on Schedule and run scans. Click on Real time scanning and then on Turn Off. select till I restart the PC and confirm by clicking the Turn Off button.
2. Open the run dialog by clicking both the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type %windir% and click on OK.
3. Type hpoins*.dat into the top search bar, if there are any results rename the extention into old instead of dat. (e.g. hpoins1.old)
4. Type hpwins*.dat into the top search bar, if there are any results rename the extention into old instead of dat. (e.g. hpwins1.old)
5. Launch the Run dialog by clicking both the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER into the Run dialog and click on OK.
6. Launch the Run dialog by clicking both the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC /REGSERVER into the Run dialog and click on OK.
7. Run the installation file and check for any difference.
If the issue persists, open the device manager and expend the Processors section.
What processor you have on your PC?

HP OfficeJet All-in-One Paper Jam
I have been given to troubleshoot an OfficeJet 6210 All-in-One Printer/copier/fax machine. It suffered a paper jam for its troubles. I had cleared the jam from the machine and checked everywere else I could check freely without cracking it open. I restarted it and it gave me the same error. I finally had it do a partial reset to try and fix it. What it gave me was the same error message. Short of opening it up with a screwdriver and patience, what could potentially still keep giving me the error message after all steps have been taken to clear it and it failed?

Hp 1350 all in one "paper jam" message
I have a HP 1350 All In One Printer and I can print a test sheet but I can't print, I get a "paper jam" message. Help
Hard Reset – While printer is powered ON, pull
the power cord from the printer then from the
wall. After 30 seconds reconnect power to
wall and printer. This will trigger a ‘dirty power
up’ and restore the printer to a known good
condition (if it is possible). No user settings
are lost with a ‘hard reset’.
This ‘Hard Reset’ is one of the most powerful
tools to use when the printer hardware is not
functioning properly!

HP PSC 2355 all-in-one Paper Jam Error
Hi. I have an HP PSC 2355 all-in-one printer that has worked well for a long time but when i switched it on today to do some printing, it made some strange noises and when i tried to print it sent an error saying there was a paper jam - but there was not !
It feeds a sheet of paper in about half way through then stops and the error is displayed.
I tried doing a copy, and the exact same thing happens.
Has anyone got an idea what has gone wrong ?
Thanks.Make sure to follow all steps here:

HP Officejet 5610 All-in-one paper jam problem
Please is anyone out who can heIp me.
I tried to print a word document from my computer and my printer came up with the following message: Paper jam: clear jam and press ok. I have looked through the printer to see if there is any paper jammed in the printer. I just couldn't find any. This is the first time I have experienced this paper jam problem with my printer.
On pressing the OK button resulted in the printer making some strange noise (sounding as if it is trying to pickup a paper) with the catridge mechanism sliding from one side to the other for about 10 seconds without a paper in the paper tray being picked up. It then shows the paper jam message again and again. It has been the same for the last 5 hours and I need to print some documents urgently.
I have tried all of the following troubleshooting I found on the HP website without any joy.
Step one: Remove any loose paper Remove any loose paper from the input tray.
Step two: Clear the jam from the back of the Allin-
One 1. On the rear of the product, press in the tab on the left side of the rear access
door to release the door. Pull the door away from the product to remove it. Gently pull the
paper out of the rollers. CAUTION: If the paper tears while being removed from the
rollers, check the rollers and wheels for torn pieces of paper that might have remained
inside the product. Loose pieces of paper will cause future paper jams. Replace the
rear access door. Gently push the door forward until it snaps into place. Press OK to
continue the current print job. If the issue is not resolved , continue to the next step. If
the issue is resolved , you do not need to continue to the next step. If these steps
resolved the issue , there is no need to continue troubleshooting. If the issue persists , see the next step.
Step three: Clean the rollers Turn off the unit, and then unplug the power cord. Press in the tab on
the left side of the rear clean-out door to release the door. Remove the door by
pulling it away from the unit. Wipe the paper rollers with a lint-free cloth lightly moistened
with distilled or bottled water. Rotate the rollers with your fingers to clean all the way
around. Allow the rollers to dry completely, and then replace the rear access door. Plug
the unit back in and turn it on. If these steps resolved the issue , there is no need to
continue troubleshooting. If the issue persists , see the next step.
Step four: Clear the jam from the automatic document feeder (ADF) Lift the cover of the ADF.
Lifting the ADF cover Gently pull the paper out of the rollers. CAUTION: If the paper
tears when being removed from the rollers, check the rollers and wheels for torn pieces
of paper that might be remaining inside the product. Loose pieces of paper will cause
future paper jams. Close the cover of the ADF. If these steps resolved the issue ,
there is no need to continue troubleshooting. If the issue persists , see the next step. The
next step couldn't be done because the paper is not loading.@CAGY, take a look at this HP link on how to clear a jam.

OLD PSC 2175 all in one PAPER JAM
I have tried every suggestion I could find on this forum and went so far as to take it apart and clean up the ink dribbles and reset all cable connects. then I did the uninstall/reinstall.
When I try to print, The paper comes too far forward by about an 1.5 or 2 inches and then I get the pop up "JAMMED". I pull the paper thru, reinsert it in tray, press enter and it prints. Is it time for the trash heap? It's seven years old but has only done about 2 500 packs of paper. Thanks for any help.Make sure to follow all steps here:

HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One Paper Jam
Hi, I'm getting a paper jam error on my printer screen when setting up my 5610 after a long time of no use. I followed this guide but it did not work. I checked the back, the rollers, everything. The problem is that the cartridge carrying box goes from right to left once and then from left to right and when it tries to go left again it is stuck in place. It keeps trying to go left but to no avail. After a bit, I get the paper jam error but there is no paper anywhere in the printer. What can I do?
Thank you.@CAGY, take a look at this HP link on how to clear a jam.

Received an error message when trying to scan a document. Used HP scan doctor to fix the problem followed all the steps including updating software etc. Still will not scan. Error states "error ocurred when trying to connect to device". Can print just can't scan. Any solutions to fix the error would be most appreciated.
Also deleted all the software and reinstalled from the disk.
This question was solved.

Photosmart C5250 All-In-One photos print dark
My photos appear bright on screen but when printed out, are always darker. Any answers?
What operating system? What color management settings? Is your monitor calibrated? What program are you using to print? What are the print settings? Are you doing color management in both the application and the printer driver? (Should do one or the other, not both).

HP officejet 6210 all in one
Paper jam with selff-stick paper. I can not remove it. I tore it apart while trying to remove it, and now I can no teven see the left over self-stick paper. I need to disaasemble the unit to remove this glue paper.
Wher can I find tool or how do I diassemble it so I can remove the rest of the selfsticking paper.
Thanks
CharlieThe main part of the output tray is not removable. There are a few alternatives: the input tray can be pulled partially open and the printed pages loaded in it - it should not be necessary to remove the input tray completely. The other possibility would be to just print using the automatic duplexer. If you are printing on plain paper or index paper this should work, it would not be suitable for printing on the back side of photo paper.
