  • Picture / Video capturing problem with Nokia 5233

    Hi All,
I am facing a problem when I capture a picture/video with my new Nokia 5233 phone I bought yesterday.
    1. When I try to capture a video, nothing is visible on the phone screen. I click on Record button and the shooting starts and then I click on it again and it stops. But I when it tries save the video it gives an error "Unexpected error occurred. Please restart your phone".
    2. I reboot the phone. But I face the same problem. I face the same problem while capturing pictures.
I have tried following as a measure to solve the problem but no success till now:
    1. Reboot the phone: tried it more than 20 times. Does not work
    2. Soft Restart: Removed the battery for 1 minute and powered the phone back. Does not work
    3. Restore Factory Settings: Restored the phone to factory settings. Does not work.
    4. I checked my firmware version. Its 12.1.089, RM-625. I think no firmware upgrade is available at present
Please advise what steps should I follow to cure the problem.
Please also let me know in case you are facing a similar problem with your device.

  • Flash Player 11.7.700.169 and Youtube videos viewing problem

I have just updated to the latest version of Flash Player 11.7.700.169 I cannot view many of my favorite YouTube as it ask me over and over again to update to the latest version . This is the latest version and I did it 4 times in arow. Always unable to watch many Youtube videos now. Anyone had encounter the same problem? I have Vista and Explorer 9. This just happen this morning. Didn't have any problem yesterday before this morning. Can someone tell me what is wrong and help me fix this annoying issue? Thank you

I'm having the same issue; non-HTML5 videos won't play. Specifically they start for a couple seconds and then freeze. I'm running Windows XP and Firefox.. I tried de-selecting hardware acceleration, increased the local storage, and I don't know what else to do. XP, Firefox, and Flash are all the latest versions.
This has only been for the last 2-3 weeks, and the only things that have changed are updated Flash, updated Firefox, and supervisor installed Norton while I was on vacation.
    Please, any suggestions?
ETA: And just like that, it's working! I think that I probably should have restarted the computer after changing my settings yesterday. Or not; still confused but relieved.

  • Having Video viewing problem

It has been hit or miss on being able to view videos in LR5 with my Mac.  I thought the trick was to open a video using QuickTime before opening the software but now that doesn't work anymore.  I just bought the software and catalogued about 27,000 pics/videos.

I reinstalled LR5 and it worked after reading some threads.  But, the video replay doesnt respond after awhile.  I take video from gopro, canon cameras and iphone.  It shows up as a gray screen.  Everytime this happens, I need to reboot and it works again for awhile then the video replay freezes again.

  • External HD causing Picture/Video Quality Problems

    (cross posted in Quicktime) -
Hey everyone, I have been having video issues on Quicktime and they (unfortunately) correspond to two different recent changes. One is my purchase of an external HD (Western Digital Passport 120Gig) and the second is the upgrade of Quicktime. I don't know exactly where to post this question, but I'll post it here as the issue only occurs with videos. In essence, the problem is that the videos become intensely pixelated when playing off of the external HD, and the videos which have been on my system appear to have been affected but clearly not to the degree of those which I transferred off of the system.
If I am not mistaken, videos which I have put on my system after the last time I had the external HD connected seem to be fine. This is why my concern is that the issue is with the external HD. The HD requires a Y-USB connector which I bought separate from the HD itself. Anyway, the issues with the videos on the HD are really severe, and the problems with those on my internal HD are certainly noticeable. Is this just a matter of needing to get the USB cable from Western Digital (the Western Digital website recommends purchasing the Y-USB cable from them, but I bought it at RadioShack)? Is it unfixable? Is it something else that I am not noticing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just for clarification, you bought a WD passport and need to use the Y-USB cable to connect to your Macbook Pro? I'm a bit confused, but isn't that cable only needed when a USB port can't put out enough power to the drive from the computer?
I ask because I have a Macbook Pro and a WD passport and I don't need a special cable to connect to it. I just plug it in with the regular USB cable that came with it. This is a wild crazy guess (and probably not true), but perhaps that may be a problem with your issue?

  • Video viewing problem

Hi.  I have taken a video thought the camera option on my iPod touch 4 generation and I have had to download it in Magix CD DVD creator. When I play it back it plays in wide screen and everyone looks huge!  Can anyone help with how I can change it so the people and things look normal size please?

This is a bug in the 1.1 firmware.
You need to update the firmware in your iPod to at least version 1.1.1.
I would suggest installing 1.1.2 using the latest iPod Updater Utility.

I'm having full screen video viewing problems on facebook which I hope to get resolved. When selecting a video to view on Facebook the video goes to about a 2" high strip across the bottom of the player. • Cache problem with "videos" viewed by thumbnail ?

    Hello,
When I add video clips to my iTunes library, I have to crite the name of the author, the album... but sometimes display in the video view seems not to refresh : the clip are still listed without albums. I added clips 4 days ago, it refreshed immediately. I added clips three days ago, it still has not refreshed. I added clips two days ago, it took one day to refresh.
I tried changing view, changing album name, nothing work.

This is due to a bug in Flash Player 9.0.115.0, released on
    12/3/07.
Techsmith, the company that produces Camtasia, reported the
problem to Adobe a few months ago, but Adobe has not released an
update for it. Adobe suggested downgrading to an older version of
Flash Player, but older versions of Flash Player have security
vulnerabilities that could result in your computer being attacked.
Incidentally, Player 9.0.115.0 is classified as a "critical update"
    by Adobe.
Techsmith has released a patcher to fix affected Camtasia
videos, but the fix must be applied to the files on the server (all
of the Camtasia files) and can't be used by viewers. The problem
with Player 9.0.115.0 affects more than just Camtasia videos, of
    course.
Until a newer version of Flash Player is released, you
probably just need to live with it unless you're willing to risk
the security holes in older Player versions. We're coming up on
three months since Player 9.0.115.0 was released. Given the long
delay in fixing the problem, and since Techsmith claims that Adobe
has made fixing the problem a high priority, it's possible Adobe's
engineers can't find a fix. Only time will tell.
For more information, search this forum for "Flash Player
& Camtasia Studio", "Player 9.0.115.0 MP3 issues", and "flash
player audio chirps and video delays". For confirmation of the
security flaws, search the web for "apsb07-20".

  • Problem with iOS 7 - picture/video iMessages bug?

I've been trying to send this in as feedback but it hasn't been going through. So I'll post it here. Maybe someone has an answer, or maybe it's a bug that Apple needs to look at.
I think these are bugs. First of all, I love that we can now send up to 20 items that include both video and pictures.
    1) When sending images or videos via iMessage, it doesn't always work. It may work after I quit the photos and messages app a few times and then try to send, but if I send some and try to send some more right after (straight from the photos app), they don't go through. I get the message window open and I choose the recipient and I hit send, but nothing happens after that. The only way I've been able to get around it is to select the items and copy and paste them directly into the messages app. Please fix this, it would make things much more efficient.
    2) when there are multimedia messages, the messages app does not archive them in the conversation. Meaning, when you scroll up in a conversation, it continues to scroll up and the app loads every single message at once rather than giving you the option to pull down to load more. I've noticed that is still there when the messages are all text. But when there are pictures/videos involved, they don't get archived and this severely impacts loading time when opening up the messages. Sometimes they won't open at all and freeze because of all the memory it requires just to load everything. It happens on my end as well as with the person on the other end of the conversation - both of us are on iOS 7. I'm on an iPhone 4S and they have an iPhone 5. This has been happening since the upgrade to iOS 7.
These are pretty big bugs and should be addressed ASAP. Thanks.

I have had numerous problems with sending media in messages either from messages or from photos app as well.
In general it seems this new os version was kind of rushed and is still very buggy throughout.  the 7.1 update should rectify the most common issues (i hope), but definitely try the feedback page again.

  • Problem importing pictures & videos

I had taken some video this past weekend and need to send to someone. I tried to email it right from my phone but it said the file is too large. So I plugged my phone in to my computer because I figured I would just import all of my pic & videos and send what I needed straight from my computer.  Unfortunately, my computer didn't import all of my pictures & videos.  Any idea why? I tried to unplug the USB cord and try it again but it isn't evening opening up the option to import pictures. Help please!

Well lets see. If you take a video and its a HD setting it is quite large. However all is not lost. I use GMail to send high quality vudeo and photos. Please remember many isp's will not accept a file in excess of 10 MB so even if you can send it does not mean the file exceeds message will not be sent.
I don't own your make of phone but my friend has one, he hooks it via the usb cable that came with the phone to his computer and its set for usb mass storage. It shows up as another drive letter when connected.
his photos are in a file called DCIM and he has another folder called pictures which has his photos. There is also videos on this internal memory of which he transfers to his home computer.
You might want to get a file browser like Astro in the Google Play Store to check all the folders for your photo and videos.
    Good Luck
Oh sometimes you need to change the usb pirt on your computer to try and connect again for it to be found.

  • Photo Album app and Video viewing crashes the whole phone

    Hi.
Not sure whether there is already another forum for this?
    I am running android 4.3.
I have found that when I go into my photo album and scroll right the way down to the bottom of the page, the pictures stop showing a thumbnail and instead all I am shown are blacked out squares.  When I then scroll to the top of the page the thumbnails that were previously there then turn black too.  This then has the effect of crashing the whole phone.  What I mean by this is that it becomes unresponsive, the back and home buttons do not work and I am then shown a barrage of "Album is not working" or "Google+ is not working" or "system is not working" messages..
This is also the case when I am attempting to view videos.  The phone will play some videos but then all of a sudden it will begin to become unresponsive in the same way as I have mentioned before.
When the phone has become unresponsive, the screen times out and I am unable to access my phone again for a good few minutes. When I can eventually access the phone, I have found the same sort of messages and unresponsiveness will occur again when I enter these apps or try to view videos through the movies app or another video viewing app and I am forced to restart the phone.
The issue with album app occurs every time I try to access the photos at the very bottom of the page.   The issue with the videos appears to be more temperamental and will occur every so often and through either the movies app or when viewing videos through alternate sources such as facebook.
I have only recently bought the Z1 and I have to say I am incredibly disappointed by the device so far!
Can anyone offer any sort of guidance or tips on what I should do?
    Thanks!
    Gurpal

  • Video image problem

Hi...A neighbor has a iMac G5 and has developed a video/image problem. The iMac boots up and sometimes shows an ok screen for a little time, sometimes not. What emerges is an array of digital black on white graphic line images (maybe I should upload a picture), but makes the screen virtually impossible to see what you want to view, thus rendering the computer useless.Any thoughts as to what this is, seems like a hardware vs, software issues, but can't say for sure. What might it be: video card, other hardware on or attached to the logic board..and mostly could it be repaired (by self or reasonable). Any and all thoughts or experience welcome as I've been no help to my good neighbor friend on this one:)..Rick

  • How to Print File as the same as picture/fax viewer ?

    Hallo :
I wrote a program which can let the specified png file to be printed. (png file is about 17xx * 11xx, output to A4 paper)
The goal is the print result as the same as the windows built-in picture/fax viewer (by Full Page Fax Print Mode)
And I don't want the printer dialog to be appeared. So I tried to use java print service to achieve this goal.
Now I can print the file by printer.
But comparing to the result which is printed by the windows built-in picture fax viewer(use Full Page Fax Print Mode), my result looks like zoom in, not full page.
I tried some classes of javax.print.attribute.standard package, but no one worked.
So I tried to transform the image by myself. And I found a resource : [http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/2D/reference/faqs/index.html#Q_How_do_I_scale_an_image_to_fit]
It looks like what I wanted. But when I implemented the functionality according to that reference. The result is still the same, still zoom in...
I must said I am unfamiliar with java 2D. But this is a problem I must solve.
If the problem can be solved by only setting some classes of javax.print.attribute.standard, it's better.
But if can't be solved by that way, the transformation method is ok, too.
So does anyone can help me to solve this problem or pointed where I was wrong ? Thank you very much.

    Thanks for the reply.
Now my algorithm which I used is when the height of image is smaller than the height of A4 paper and the width of image
is larger than the width of A4 paper, I will rotate 90 degree of the image first, then I will scale the image.
Then I can get the approaching result when the width and height of the image are larger than the width and height of A4 paper.
But there was an additional error. That is when the width of image is larger than the width of A4 paper and
the height of image is smaller than the height of A4 paper. (like 17xx * 2xx).
Although the print result template is approaching the picture/fax viewer. But the print quality is so bad.
The texts are discontinue. I can see the white blank within the text. (the white line are the zone which printer doesn't print)
First I thought this problem might be DPI issue. But I don't know how to keep the DPI when rotating ?
(I dumped the rotate image, it rotates, but didn't keep the DPI value)
Does anyone know how to solve this strange problem ? Thanks a lot.

    Hi there,
I have reinstalled Firefox 3.6 a few times, but it doesn't seem to fix the problem. When I try and load a site with pictures, videos (such as YouTube, but including a blog post with pictures), or more than one tab at a time, I just get "Untitled" tabs that don't even register the address. This happens especially when clicking to open a link in a new tab from a Google Reader.
At this point too, a lot of pages will not load correctly; even Firefox Help as it turns out!

Sorry there is no telephone support. You could try the IRC if you want a quick response, ( whilst it is [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/ask open] )
