C6 always wants to use g3 connections

I would like to use wlan-connection with my nokia c6 when I'm going to internet. But when I start using the wlan-connection with my phone and open web-icon, the phone starts to use my operator's g3-connection. How can I make the definitions so that the connection is made by using wlan!?

Adobe PDF printer gets installed when you install Acrobat 10 Pro.
To use this printer you need to purchase Acrobat. Once the trial period is over you cannot use the printer to create pdf files.
An alternative way for you is to utilize Microsoft's own inbuilt pdf engine.
You can simply open the file and select 'Save as' and in the type list select 'pdf'

Dont want to use internet connection

I have just purchased the Airport Express Base Station and want to use it for my printer and speakers only. I do not have an internet connection. I can not get the airport express to stop blinking amber yellow b/c I have no internet connection attached. Is it possible to use this just for the printer and speakers? If yes how do I get the airport express to the green light?

According to the Airport Express Users' Guide on page 14 you can use it to hook up to AirTunes to hook up to iTunes to play through your stereo.

Equium A60 - No Wlan card but I want to use WLan connection

I just bought a A60 Equium laptop without the Atheros AR5001 wireless adaptor card installed.
Do i need to buy this type of adaptor card to run wireless or is there any other models of Atheros cards i can use or would it be better to buy a usb wireless adaptor.

You can buy an USB WLan stick.
Such sticks are not expensive and easy in use!
If you Wlan router would support WLan 802.11 B/G or N then I recommend buying an USB WLan stick which would support both Wlan standards G and N
802.11 N standard is the newest one and you would get the fastest connection using 802.11 N.
But as I said; this depends on your WLan router

Ummm...the software walks you through the account creation process itself. Instructions are also in your Mac's own built in Help files accessible via the Help menu. Did you read those?

I have money in my account but when I purchase, Itunes always wants to use my credit card. There doesn't appear to be an option to use the money in my account.

Unable to create Business Foundation Layer in XI4 IDT using OLAP connection

Hi,
I have created a BICS connection against an SAP BW cube and want to use this connection in order to build a Business Layer in XI4 Information Design Tool. When I try to map this connection to the business layer, it errors out "Error occurred during connection selection - Connection is not supported".
I'm currently using BO XI4 SP1 and SAP BI NW Eh1 SP6.
Can anyone throw some light on how to create a Business Layer/Universe against an SAP BW cube?
Also, can we query ECC systems using the new semantic layer in XI4 from WebI?

Forms 9i doesn't support ODBC. You would need a transparent Gateway to connect to non Oracle databases

Unable to use Internet Connect with my new wireless device

I just received a new wireless device for my macbook pro. Normally I sign on with Internet Connect, but after setting up the new card, I can only connect using Verizon Manager, which usually doesn't give me good connection, I don't know why.
I called the Verizon people, they mostly are clueless as to how I was able to sign on using both Internet Connect and Verizon Manager before with my old card. I remember there's a way of setting up manually if you want to use Internet Connect. Problem is, when I went to Systems Preferences and clicked on Network, a pop up prompt saying "your network setting have been changed by another application" keeps popping up even as I keep closing it. ***?!!! How can I get rid of it so I can change network setting manually?
I just want the option of connecting with Internet Connect with my new wireless device. BTW, when I try connecting with it using my old setting National access/ Broadband access , I get a message saying "the selected communication device does not exist".

I am using crystal report XI. I want to use JDBC connection and Oracle 10G database package.But when i connect to the database and choose that package it shows that the package not exists...Is it not possible to connect to the package????Can anyone plz give a comment

no the only thing you can connect directly to in crystal are tables/views/stored proceduresto access the package you can write it into a store procedure so it can be executed that way

How to use DB connect against secondary Oracle DB ?

this is the issue:
an existing BI 7.0 based on Oracle 10.2.0.2.0 has to acquire data from an external Oracle 9.2.0.6 database. We want to use DB connect functionality.
1st Q: are the existing components (DBSL and Oracle db-client) sufficient for interfacing to the secondary database?
2nd Q: would it be better practice to look at the external database as a completely separate one? which means to install separate DBSL and db-client for it.
Unfortunately neither online documentation nor SAP notes provide full clarification. Is there any experience in the field? all comments and contributions are warmly appreciated!

OK, gurus, expertz and those to be, here's the story:
BI 7.0 component of SCM-APO (Oracle 10.2.) is successfully connected to remote Oracle 9.2.
Actually there have been just a couple of points to look after. First thing was to maintain the alias connection string in tnsnames.ora file. Plus this file is required twice, in the ORASID directory as well as in the <SID>ADM directory.
Next issue is that apparently Oracle 'grants' are not supported by DB-Connect. But at least there is BI support package 11 which enables us to connect to other users' objects (different user than DB-Connect user). This healed the grants issue.
Further topics have been the date conversion issue (this should already be done in the remote source DB) and name length and characters-2-B-used requirements.

I want to use my Macbook Air 2011 as an external disk for my iMac 2011. I connected the two with a Thunderbolt cable and when starting the MacBook Air I pressed "T" and it worked except with Office documents. Can anybody help?

I want to use my MacBook Air as an external disk to my iMac. I talked to Apple care and we solved it by connecting a Thunderbolt cable between the two computers. I then turn on the MacBook Air while pressing the "T" and it works. I can sit and work on my iMac and grab/change/save the files that are in my MacBook Air EXCEPT for the Microsoft Office files. I called Microsoft and they can't solve it. They say it might be a problem with the Thunderbolt cable. Has anybody have this problem?
Both computers are 2011 and they both have Office 2011.

For Excel it says "the file could not be found. Check te spelling of the filename, and verify that the file location is correct. If you are trying to open the file from your list of most recently used files on the File menu, make sure hat the file has not been renamed, moved or deleted.

How do I stop the popup "identityservicesd wants to use your confidential information stored in " key " in your keychain"? Always allow doesn't work.

I repeatedly see the popup:
"identityservicesd wants to use your confidential information stored in "<key>" in your keychain"
If I click "always allow" it still comes up.
I've followed instructions elsewhere on this forum to open Keychain Access and use First Aid, but to no avail.
Previously I would receive the popup "messages app wants to use your confidential information..." but I changed the Access Control to allow all applications to access this item, hoping that would do the trick. But sadly it didn't work.
Any ideas?
(Also, ever since upgrading to Mavericks, it wants to go through first-time setup every time I log in. I'm prompted to enter my iCloud password, etc. etc. but the above problem predates that)

My immediate reaction is to deny.
Have you downloaded or installed any application that may relate to the abbreviation AOS? It may not necessarily be the application's name, could be the developer or distributor.
As it's occuring at log-in, go to System Preferences > Accounts > your account > Login Items and look for a related item. If there's one there, right-click (or ctrl click) on it and select Reveal in Finder. That will show you where the originator of the item is on your system and should give you more of a clue as to what it is.
I'd remove the item from login items anyway (highlight and click the minus sign at the bottom of the window). There shouldn't be anything trying to use your keychain info to notify anyone.
