C60 HDMI Signals goes off intermediate to Display(TV)

In C60, HDMI output singal to display TV's goes off frequently and when this happens the H & V frequency changes.
The connection between TV and Codec is thru Extron HDMI DA and we use TC 5.1.11 and 7.1.4 SW

Does the HDMI cable work when connecting other devices to the TV? Have you tried a different HDMI cable with the same result?

  • HDMI signal is off center.

I'm trying to use my new iPad 2 with the HDMI adaptor cable to watch Doctor Who HD which I purchased from iTunes on my Sony Bravia Flatscreen.  The mirrored signal from the iPad is all the way to the left of my screen but everything is visible.  However, when I use Video to play the show (which letterboxes on the iPad when disconnected from the TV) it does not letterbox and the left portion of the scene is cut off.  Is there some setting I'm missing which will correct this?
    Thanks.
    cz.

I'm having the exact same issue, but on an LG monitor.
I'm using the AV adapter on my iPad2, to mirror the screen over hdmi. On the monitor, the image is appearing all the way to the left, and is even off the screen to the left, a bit.

  • Apple TV 3 audio signal goes off after each song?

My Sony receiver has to reaquire the audio signal from the ATV 3 at the beginning of each song when streaming songs from the Mac. This causes a fraction of the beginning of each song to be missing. Very irritating. There is a clicking noise at the end of each song as the receiver loses the audio signal at the end of each song. Is there a way to work around this?

    Hi iman911,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Take a look at the article linked below, it provides a lot of great audio troubleshooting tips that may be able to resolve the audio issues that you’re seeing with some apps on your Apple TV.

  • Display going off

My display goes off after starting the pc, sometimes after 5 mins and sometimes at the BIOS setup, and even during Windows startup repair.  RAM and PSU are fine as I am using them on a different motherboard and they are working fine. Also when the display goes off, sound doesn't go off immediately, I can hear background music  and then there is some noise and sound also goes off, HDD led stops blinking afterwards. Sometimes, HDD goes off along with display. So is the culprit graphics card or motherboard or something else( The other motherboard which I tried, (Nvidia 630i) had onboard VGA and it worked fine)
    My specifications:
    Motherboard: MSI P45 Neo-F  (601-7519-010) no OC
    RAM: 2X2GB Corsair DDR2
HDD: WD Caviar Green WS6400AACS, 640GB
    PSU: Corsair VX450, 450W
    GFX Card: ATI Radeon 4850, 512MB DDR3
    Operating System: Windows 7
    Processor: Intel E6750, 2.66Ghz

It is highly recommended to use identical modules.  Using non-identical but similar modules either works properly or it doesn't.  The answer depends highly on what specific memory combination is going to be used on what system.  So, basically, if you can avoid mixed configurations, avoid them.  If you already have the modules there in front of you, go ahead and simply test it.  There is no risk of damaging anthing (well, at least not in general).

but since pc is booting properly, motherboard should be fine right?
Probably --> which means that I personally believe that a problem with the video card is more likely to be the cause.  That is why it makes a lot of sense to start testing on that front first. However, the mainboard is not necessarely out of the equation.  It is not very likely, but still not totally impossible that the mainboard is the cause for your problem.

  • My 4G data keeps going off. Anyone else have this problem?

After a while of inactivity my cellular signal goes off andihave to restart the iPad to get it back on. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

I have the same problem. I think it is associated with doing App updates (not iOS updates). It's a real problem as my alarm doesn't ring, the message and phone tones don't sound.  The only cure that I have found is to shut the phone off and then turn it on again.  Voile' it works just fine then until the next time. Hope to see a solution as the sporadic occurances make it difficult to circumvent.

  • Srceen goes gray after the apple goes off then the monitor says no signal..

srceen goes gray after the apple goes off then the monitor says no signal.. It been working great for 9 months use it everyday for fcp.. would the video card be bad???

If the video card were bad, you wouldn't get anything to display. The fact that you get the gray screen with the spinning gear means the video card is working.
So, two things I would try, and you can pick the order. The first is to reset the PRAM. You may want to save this for last since it will reset a few of your settings. Nothing major, but can be annoying. The second is to start the system in safe mode by holding down shift while booting.
If safe mode works, then you have some corrupted preference files or some other program is causing problems. If safe mode doesn't work, you can at least see if zapping the PRAM lets you get any further along with the boot process. Only if both of these fail would I start to consider an issue with the video card.

  • Retina display on Mac Pro goes off randomly while working

My client has the latest Mac Pro (cylinder) with two screens, one of which is the latest Apple Retina display.
In my client's own words, here's the problem:
"My monitors have been really buggy. The retina display just cuts out - then randomly comes back on.
I have verified that all cords and plugs are secure and that the power source is on... it's been doing this since the beginning but is worse now.
Sometimes one stays on and the other goes off -- sometimes it switches.  When I reboot the same thing happens.
I ran disk utility permissions and repair just in case and all seems to be in order."
    Mac Pro (64G RAM)
I searched online but haven't found any info on this problem
    Any ideas?

    Howdy generatech,
To help resolve or troubleshoot the issue with these monitors intermitently turning off on their own, I would use this part of the following article:
Apple computers: Troubleshooting issues with video on internal or external displays - Apple Support
Try unplugging the video adapter or cable and then plug it back in.
If more than one video adapter is in use (or "daisy-chained"), troubleshoot by using only one adapter.
Example: A mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter connected to a DVI to HDMI adapter is an unsupported configuration because there is a series of adapters in use.
    Reset the system
You can reset the Mac's parameter RAM and SMC.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,
    Sterling

  • Display signal turns off without warning...

I have MacMini and the display signal turns off intermittently (i.e. not just sleeping).
The display is via a VGA connection to a Philips monitor (although I've tried with an Acer VGA monitor too and get the same problem).
The only way to fix it seems to be to turn the Mac off and on again.
I feel pretty disappointed. I've used Apple Macs since having a Mac Plus 20 years ago and have always recommended people to use them because "you just plug things in and they work"...
But this is simply rubbish. It's practically useless.
Has anyone else experienced this and are Apple doing anything about it? ...or should I just try to get my money back under the "not fit for purpose" clause in the sale of goods act.

    cheers
Sadly no DVI input on any of my monitors...
Doubly annoyed because I bought a new VGA monitor to use with the Mac Mini. I would have bought one with DVI input if Apple had advised this.
Why on earth do Apple sell the HDMI to VGA adapter if this doesn't work?
I sense a formal complaint brewing...

  • Mac mini (late 2014) display Flicking/goes Off and On

    Hi everyone!
Well.. i can say that, this is my first Mac computer and i already have problems. I have read a lots of comments and i have seen that many people experienced this problem with Mac mini, like display corruption, not property colors, flicking, display goes off and back on... or just standing on sleep and not turning on. (like Mac mini 2012 or 2011.. i have read about same issue..) so whats really happen?
So, from the peoples comments i tried possible solutions:
    SMC Reset
I have Reinstalled the OS X Yosemite (complete HDD format)
    I have changed the cable
    (Nothing works)
    Some detail about my connection:
    I have Mac mini (late 2014) i5 2,6GHz dual-core, 8GB ram, Iris Graphics (Intel), 1TB HDD
I have connect it via miniDP to DP > to > Dell UltraSharp U2713HM
    My following issue:
-Screen goes Off and On without reason (mostly happens when i connect my iPhone i have noticed, or maybe just impression..)
-Screen goes to Sleep without reason while i'm on computer (this normally happens after a few off and on screen flickers)
-Image corruption/distortion (after this display goes off and on, or just remaining on sleep.. like not detected
I hope someone can help me with this problem, i just bought it one week ago and i don't know what should i do, because as well i have read that even i'll change it, it can have the same problem.
    Waiting or a response,
    Best regards.

Update: I'm coming back with a possible tip for fixing this issue (I hope Apple Stuff will notice this.)
So, how i said in the previews message.. the Image corruption / and going Off and On the display happens mostly when i'm connecting the iPhone. Theory tested a few times, and take a guess.. it's true.
When i'm connecting the iPhone, the monitor goes crazy.. for some seconds, turning off and on.. and sometimes Image corruption, then coming back like nothing happened. Because i found out this, i was making more tests with the iPhone.
First, erasing the disk and reinstall the OS X again. Everything worked perfectly, until i was connecting the iPhone. I got directly Image corruption and Screen goes Off and On a several times. After this is happening, and you'll unplug the iPhone and put it again, you may not receive again Image corruption or Screen to go Off and On, but after a restart when you'll connect it again, you will receive almost everytime.
So.. after this, i was testing further. I have Paired my iPhone with iMessage and FaceTime, to see if can be a possible issue there also. True again!
Receiving messages from iPhone to Mac / Sometimes display goes Off and On
Receiving a Call via FaceTime to Mac (from your iPhone carrier) / Image corruption / Screen Off and On
After a day of test, i have realise where is the problem. "iPhone connection/Mac"
So, the cable it's good (connection miniDP to DP), by Surfing and by running other Apps i have no problem (at least until now), the only problem what cause the Image corruption and Screen Off/On for several times, it is only because of the connection with the iPhone.
I hope is someone there from Apple Stuff that will take this as notice to solve this problem. Because it is 99% software problem, and i hope it will appear soon enough an Update/Fix.
    Thank you!

  • Display goes off and comes back only when Satellite A210 is restarted

    Hi,
Satellite A210 displays goes off now and then and comes back only when the machine is restarted.
Usual runtime runtime 30 or 45 mins
    Please advice
    # Is this a hardware problem or software?
    # Does some one else faced same problem do advice?
Machine is year and a half old runs windows vista basic that comes with it.
I have reinstalled the display adapter drivers also the problem remains same

    Hello
Have you tested an external monitor on the notebook?
If the external monitor works fine it seems to be an internal display issue and must be replaced.
Are you running the factory settings on your notebook or have you installed your own Windows version? Before you go to an authorized service provider you should restore the factory settings to determine if its a hardware or software problem. With the factory settings all should work properly and if not in my opinion its a hardware problem.

Moreover is there any solution to overclock to overclock CPU

    Hi-
Try switching the power adapters to see if the problem moves to the other display.
Of course, reconnecting/double checking all connections is a good idea.
Other than that, any references in Console/Logs regarding graphics driver errors?

  • My display goes off when Battery being charged on Acer E5-511 after upgrading to Windows 10

I upgraded my window 8.1  to Window 10 on Acer E5-511 machine yesterday.  I notice that when I switch on power to charge its battery, a beep sounds and display goes off. when power is again switched off the display comes back with a beep again.  However, when the machine battery  is allowed to charge for some time, either it goes to hibernation mode or stops working since display does not come back even after switching off the power supply.  This peculiar problem did not existed when I had used this Notebook with windows 8.1 for past eight months.   Can any one help me to solve this problem as i am being forced to charge the battery only when Notebook is not powered on.

Ipad 2 upgraded to iOS 8.0.2 and the cellular signal doesn't work. Have to restart the unit to work with cellular signal. After a while it goes off and no service indication appears.

iPad 2, Since upgrading to iOS 8.0.2  the cellular signal indicates I do not have a SIM card. Monday spent hours on the phone with Apple support, backed up my iPad, reset all settings, reloaded my iPad and it still tells me I don't have a SIM card. Tuesday went to AT&T and got a new SIM card on the advice of apple support. It worked perfect until this morning and the NO SIM CARD notice reappeared. Never ever had any problem until the upgrade. I find it inexcusable that Apple refuses to address the issues they caused, iOS 8.0.2 is the Ebola of iPad 2 world. I dont have any cellular service after wasting two days trying to address and fix a problem Apple is responsible for. It's obvious Steve Jobs is no longer running the company. Furious & fustrated. How does Apple expect anyone who uses an iPad 2 for work, to remain a customer who will return to their products?
