C7280 can print but solution center says install incomplete and I cannot scan

I have a photosmart c7280 that is connected to a wireless network. I purchased a new computer running windows 7 64 bit system. Install of printer went fine and everything was working. Now when I go to the HP solution center it says the install was incomplete. When I try to scan a document in either windows live essentials or windows fax and scan neither program can find the device. I was able to use the solution center and scan a document yesterday.
I can still print and access the printer on the network. I even performed a webscan. Why does solution center now not work when it previously worked and why am I unable to find the device when I want to scan using other software.

Hi,
Do you have an mSATA or other SSD in your T520 along with the HDD? Did you get the error during a full machine scan? If so, try running the scan on the HDD alone w/out running a full scan.

I can print but can't scan

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500A. I can print but I can't scan. I am running windows 7. I am attempting to scn by clicking on the icon. When I click the icon, I get this error message: "The HP Officejet Pro 8500 A 910 was not found". Please help.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
Icons are nothing more than links to programs -- and a link is a pointer, not an actual program.
It may be that the printer software is not working properly or that the Icon you are using is just not connected, that is, pointing to -- anything useful.
You can perhaps correct the whole mess by installing (reinstalling) the Full Feature Software for the printer. The installation process may take care of the broken Icon and whatever else is going on elsewhere that is keeping the scanning function from working properly.
General Instructions to Install the Printer Software
Reminder:
In most cases, the Solution Center has been replaced by the Printer Assistant.
The Printer Assistant shortcut will be installed on your Desktop during the last part of the installation.
Windows Operating System:
Create Restore Point: Create a Restore Point – Win7 OR Create a restore point Win8
Open HP Drivers & Downloads
Enter your Printer Model information
Select your Printer from the “Results” list
OR
Open HP Officejet Pro 8500A e-All-in-One Printer series - A910
Enter your Operating System in the Drop-down menu
Click NEXT and Scroll down
Look for category Driver - Product Installation Software
Select the Basic Driver, e-print, or Full Feature Software
Save the *.exe installation package(s) on your computer
The file(s) will likely save to the "Downloads “folder.
Be sure to look for Updates as needed for your installation. If available, you may download the Print and Scan Doctor and / or other programs from Category – Utilities.
If you have ‘Admin’ control, you may highlight the package and “double-click” to install it, else Right-Click, Select run as Administrator and install.
NOTES:
Look at the bottom half of the main webpage for your printer for helpful videos to assist with the installation of the printer software!
Scroll the video list back and forth until you find the video that most closely matches your situation.
If using a USB connection: Download and install the driver software before connecting a USB cable.
Ethernet: Connect the printer to the network and (Optional) assign the printer an IP address at the router. Once the printer is connected to the network, be sure the printer is switched on and then install the printer software.
After the initial installation is complete and working, check / install Category - Update

Have you downloaded the approriate Snow Leopard drivers for that printer? Make sure you get the appropriate and latest MP Navigator, as you start scans from the computer, not the all-in-one. There's no 64 bit TWAIN so you need to use the 32-bit version of Photoshop. Personally I'd recommend that you use the scanner software as a standalone application and forget TWAIN, which is rapidly becoming obsolete and more or less abandoned everywhere. All it does is call up the very same scanner software, only from within the PS UI, and tying up Photoshop in the process.

You are in the wrong discussion forum, but ok:
-- You say it is running 8.1 now, but your profile says 6.1.3, plse update your profile.
-- Did you download in Mac iTunes? or directly in the iPhone?
if in Mac iTunes: check the following Finder location: Startupdisk->Homefolder (yourname)->Library->iTunes->iPadSoftwareUpdates : the downloaded file should be there and be complete the extension should be .ipsw, if it is not there or not complete you should download again.
if in the iPhone: notice that the install phase and verifying phase and restarting phase need (good) internet connection.

Yes, I've that and it didn't work. Today, I reinstalled printer software on one printer and the "paused" message changed to "offline". It's a three-in-one printer. I turned off and on again and it still says "offline"

I would be concerned too if the songs I purchased from iTunes were not downloading to my iPhone. You have taken some great troubleshooting steps already, and thank you for providing the details of the steps you too. I have a few additional suggestions to get it downloaded to your iPhone.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted:
If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password if prompted.
Tap the blue download arrow to resume.

If the songs still do not download, next I recommend downloading the songs when connected to another network. For example, if you are using the cellular network, you could switch to Wi-Fi, or you could try an alternate Wi-Fi network. Disk Utility will not "see" the Time Capsule, so no need to waste any more time on that issue.

Surprisingly, I just went to the crash reporter and there were no reports re: the iPhoto issue. This is the only report I found, which I not sure is related to the iPhoto issue:

As for the TimeCapsule indeed, I use it as an extended drive but I'm surprised it would be considered a FAT-32 formatted drive as this is an Apple device.
I asked the apple reps if I could use the TimeCapsule for such purpose and no one raised a concern. It's also surprising that I didn't have an issue with this prior to the upgrade to OS X Yosemite.
Having said the above, thank you for your help - if the TimeCapsule is indeed the issue, perhaps I can solve the issue by transferring the iphoto library to an OS extended hard drive.
