C7280 - printing more than one document at a time

Does anyone know a quicker way of scanning in (using the feeder) several different documents at a time, as opposed to different pages of the same document.  At the moment, I seem to have to exit too far out of the software at the end of each doc'.
This is what I'm doing:
a) select SCAN DOCUMENT
b) select file format ie PDF
c) If document loaded on feeder, printer takes however many pages in the tray and scans into one document.
d) On pressing Finish, question comes up asking whether you'd like to add another page to the document.  If you press Yes - it simply adds it the exisiting document being scanned and if you press No, it saves the existing document but exits right out  taking you right back to the home page which then remains greyed out for a while until, the previous document has been saved.
Very appreciative of a time saving irritation lessening answer!! :-)

  • My HP Officejet 6500 E709a All-in-One will not print more than one copy at a time.

My HP Officejet 6500 E709a All-in-One will not print more than one copy at a time.  This is especially disconcerting at Christmas time when you're trying to get Christmas letters in the mail!  Any help?

The cyan portion of the printhead may be clogged.  I would suggest running the diagnostics shown here.  If three levels of cleaning of the printheads does not resolve the issue you may need a new printhead.

is it possible to print more than one picture at a time on a single page and if so, how?

    Hi Rowegarth.
HP Photo Creations offers several ways to print multiple photos on a page. Here's a link to some preset grids. If you don't have HP Photo Creations already, you'll be prompted to download the software. (It's a free download.)
You could also start with a "Design Your Own" collage print with a white theme.
This video shows some ways to print multiple photos in HP Photo Creations to make them easier to cut out:

The beginning shows an older version of the software, but the second half (at 1:17) explains the grid settings.

  • Can't print more than one job at a time.

I am trying to print to either a HP DesignJet 1055cm plotter or a HP LaserJet 5000N. I can't send more than one file at a time. If i don't wait until the current job starts printing, the next one won't print. For example if I sent five files one right after the other, I might get 1, 4 and 5. I don't think it's a printer problem because it happens on two different printers, and it doesn't happen when I print from my PC. Any idea what could cause this?

My work around is to put all the jobs "on hold" in the print settings or just "stop jobs" on the printer window.
Then I click on each print job in the que and let them print one at a time. This way I can at least quit the program and move onto the next thing.

  • Can we upload more than one document at a time ?

It will take me forever to upload all my documents into the acrobat cloud , ONE at a time....is there a quicker way to do it? If not,  will there be soon? Because that would really help me and possibly others to get it done faster...

  • Remove extended features more than one document at a time.

Does anybody know how to remove the extended features in Adobe files in batch mode? Since the newest upgrade of Adobe reader, we are having to remove the extended features and have 702 forms to do this with! Our users are trying to add their image signature and now it prompts them to do a save as and then locate the saved copy. Seems there must be an easier way or a fix for this?  Thanks all.

  • Unable to print more than one copy at a time to any printer

I've had this issue for a while but have just been dealing with it but I ran into an issue where I needed 50 copes of a document and I had to print the document 50 times......
First, the issue; Through any of the applications I've tried (Preview, Adobe, Pages, numbers) to print multiple copies, I can't get more than one to print at a time. Even if I set the number of copies to 2, 5, 10 or whatever, only one copy prints.
I've tried multiple printers, One connected via USB, one shared through an OS X Leopard server and the other through an IP port all with the same result.
All of the printers are various HPs but I had this issue with a Lexmark one in the past. I am running 10.5.5 and am really hoping someone has a solution to this.
    Thanks,

    anyone...?

  • Pages 5.0--I can't open more than one document at a time.

Pages 5--I can't open more than 1 document/file.  I can look up files in iCloud/computer, click to open, but the file never opens in Pages 5.  I have to quit Pages, reopen to get another document (but still cannot open more than that first doc).  I still have Pages 4.3, and I can open multiple documents.  Is this a bug, or is there some funky routine I have to go through?

  • How can i to print more than one document from a form??

    Hi;
i would like to print 3 document (PLD) from a order form , ie, i want to print one Order more two documents using Layout Design,
    How can i do it??
    thanks.

This might be able to be done through PLD.
    1. Go to the Print Layout Designer.
    2. Choose document type relevant to the report that you are going to
    print.
    3. Save template with new name if you are using a system default.
    4. Open the template and go to Print Layout Designer > Display Document Properties > Paper Format tab.
    5. Set the 'Number of Copies'  to 3.
    6. Save the new template and set it as default.

  • LaserJet 5000 will not print more than one copy at a time.

We have recently moved our office.  A LaserJet 5000 which is used as an office printer is shared through one of the computers on the network in the exact same way it was more we moved.  But since the move it will not print multiple copies of the same document no matter how many copies the software tells the printer to print it will only print one copy then it stops.  Before the moved it worked fine.  If the software program such as Word told it to print 100 copies it printed 100 copies now one is the limit.   So if you want to printmore than one you have to hit print that many times.  It has 172 MB RAM.  Does anyone have any ideas of what might have happened????

I have the same issue with a photosmart 2410xi. Did you ever get yours figured out?

  • Can't open more than one document at a time

I have to open a few text documents. No matter of they are three or six, sometimes it will open but most of times, they won't. Also, Pages won't start after jumping for a while in the Dock.
If you open the documents from the Open menu it will work but the Dock icon is buggy.
There is no way to fix this as this may be a bug that sometimes happens and other times does not…
    But thanks for reading.

Thank you again for taking the time to reply again in this topic.
"The latest" Pages app only can be… the latest version released, but again I can confirm as in my previous comment, YES the version is 4.3. There can be only *one* latest version possible! Pages 08 can't be the "latest".
Aside, yes, as I commented I created the Pages icon dock again but the problem is still happening. Also, I'm referring to full documents, not parts of them. One of three documents won't open, for example.
Computer is up to date, permissions are Ok, etc. No problem on maintenance.
The documents are .doc or .docx, not templates, not uncommon documents, not .dotx files. Just text document they made using Windows. I'm a graphic designer and I receive the localizations to translate Photoshop designs into 5 or 6 languages, so they send me those texts in one document each language, so the files are small, 1 page documents with no images, macros or anything else than a few text lines.
I've been using Pages for many years now and can't remember when it started to behave like this. Sometimes I just open those documents with Text Edit because it's faster and never fails.
If I open the documents dragging them to the dock icon, one by one, with Pages all of them will open fine. If I use the menu option, the documents will all open fine. It just fails when opening a bunch of them using the dock. Sometimes three out of five are open, in rare cases all of them are open or Pages is just stalled and won't do anything.
One example. I dragged all of these documents to Pages icon in the dock.
Five of them opened instantly except the last one: "Traducción mailing Son Antem_RU.doc".
If I drag this single document to the dock, it opens just fine like all the others. If I choose this one and 4 others, all of the five docs open fine. It looks like if there was a limit to open documents at a time from Pages dock icon, but this doesn't make any sense, I can open 15 documents at the same time from Photoshop, for example.
If I open all these 6 items from the menu File > Open… all of them are opened, no problems.
This eandom behaviour with no sense at all made me wanted to know what's happening with my Pages! It's really bothering me. Maybe I'll just have to change my habits and start using the File menu but I'm more of a drag and drop person.
Thanks for your attention and bearing with this little, but annoying problem.

  • PRINTING: How to print more than one email at a time?

Is it not possible to simply select 10 different emails and send them to the print queue?
I've been searching for hours now and the closest thing I've found is an Automator action that allows users to condense several emails into one (and print from there). This doesn't work for me as I have several receipt emails that shouldn't be combined. Is my only option, seriously, to sit there, one by one, and open > print > close, open > print > close.
There HAS to be a better way than that. Can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    David

OK - try this: Do what advanced user said (⌘-select multiple messages) and print to PDF someplace convenient like your Desktop. Highlight/select all newly created PDF icons. Open all simultaneously with Preview (Right-click Open With if you have another default application for PDF, or just right-click Open if Preview is your default PDF application). This displays the multiple documents inside a single window, each accessible by clicking on the appropriate document icon in the sidebar, at least, apparently, that is the default behavior on mine unless you have changed that behavior in Preview Preferences General.
Simultaneously select/drag all the second to last document icons displayed in the document sidebar and drag&drop them on top of the first document icon. "Save as" to whatever. Quit Preview. You now have a multi-page PDF of all those individual PDFs that you started out with.
