Caan't click continue when re-installing MacOSX from OSX utilities?

Hi
My mac is very sick and I need to reinstall the OS.
I am on mountain lion early 2013 MacBook Pro.
When I boot - the computer behaves badly but I can use the keyboard and mouse.
I have used time-machine to back everything and plan to use the data migration wizard to get my data back after the re-install.
However, when I click command R and try and reinstall from the OS X utilities tool I can use the arrow keys to select the reinstall OSX menu but can't click continue?!
The mouse moves but I can not seem to click...or select the continue button to use the enter key.
Not sure what to do!

You may not be able to click Continue if the startup disk needs repairing before you can reinstall OS X.
Boot while holding down the Command + R keys so you can access the Disk Utility app to repair the startup disk.

I've lost my JAVA (long story :-(), and I was told to try and use Pacifist to install Java from my OSX-discs without having to do a complete OSX-install...
The problem is that I don't know what to install from the discs - when I open them i pacifist, and search for JAVA, there are alot of hits in very different sections of the disc... Does anyone know which "parts" to install to re-create JAVA?

As I write, I've tried to reinstall the java.pkg, but this doesn't seem to be enough, so I asked if anyone knew exactly what I needed to reinstall to recreate java fom scratch?

When I click CONTINUE READING the page resets from the top

On many sites (salon.com for example) you'll have part of an article and then a link that says "Continue Reading". In Firefox version's before 4.0 when I clicked that link, the rest of the page would show up but I could keep reading from where I was.
Now when I click that, the rest of the page shows up but it refreshes and I'm back at the top of the page and have to scroll down to where I was reading.
www.salon.com is not the only site this happens with - just the one I'm on most.

Try to clear the Google cookies.
Does it help if you set the language to English via the gear icon > Settings?

Hangs in a continuous loop after installing apps from BB site

I installed an app from the BB download pages for my 8700 and the device could not restart but got hung up. The LED flashes red and the screen and hourglass cursor go on and off in a continuous loop. Removing and reinserting the battery does not help. It resumes the continuous loop. Who can help?

Something is broken in Blackberry Device filesystem that causes the problem.
Device in that condition is available for Blackberry Desktop Software for a very short period of time - when it starts.
Use JL_Cmder utility to wipe your device memory when the device is available for this short period of time.
It is not easy to catch the moment - but let's try.
After wipe - download the RIM OS here
and install it on your PC. After that - connect device to PC, run Blackberry Desktop Software to install OS to device.
If that does not help - bring your device to repair shop to wipe the device memory.
There is nothing broken on device hardware, it is a severe software failure.
Unfortunately RIM does not provide a hardware button to reset the device to factory settings.
Try this utility.

Clicking sound when making a call from mac

When I try to answer a call or make a call I have a horrible clicking sound. Don't think a speaker is blown because I tried to play music and it sounds fine. Assuming I just have a setting that is wrong some where. Any suggestions would be helpful! Thank you!

I had this happen as well. Restarting my MacBook Pro (8,2) made it go away. At other times it seemed to appear when calling some phones (my wife's iPhone 4 and my son's Samsung phone) but not others (my land line), but this was not consistent. My phone is an iPhone 5. I'm hoping the iOS update due tomorrow will fix this.

Hi Pat,
After that initial error, I moved the two downloaded files to a local disk (they were on an external disk before) then I ran the executable, now all files were correctly unpacked and installed. Just for information: I was not unpacking those files manually, the installer unpacks everything to a seperate folder only then can the installation beggin. It was during installation that the installer asked for DATA4.cab.

Transparent space on TitleWindow under clicked Button when TitleWindow is removed from PopUp.

I'm having an issue. I'm using a title window with 2 s:buttons on it.
Once I'm clicking on my left button that is closing this title window I'm getting this strange effect.
For a fracton of second button disappears and I can what is under the Title window (below the button) (Screenshot below)
Than Title Window disapears. This is quite annoying.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this behaviour? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Let me try to put more light on the topic. I'm using a browser component (SWF file). This is not AIR application. Chrome / Firefox / IE - all have same strange effect.
swf file is hosted by external (non localhost) www page.
From the technical perspective and Source Code stand point:

1) I have main file "MainFile.mxml" (Application)
2) At some point in time of the application operations "someFunction" function is triggered and is opening up a "CustomAlertWindow.mxml" object called tempAlert.
3) I have another file with "CustomAlertWindow.mxml" (TitleWindow)

Deleting / un-installing programs from osx

this may sound stupid, but how do you go about uninstalling programs and all thier files within osx, when you don't need them ?

Not stupid at all. No such thing as a stupid question here
There are three methods of uninstalling a proggy:
1. Simply drag the the application to the trash. That's it.
2. Some applications include their own uninstall utility (MS Office 2004 for Mac is one that immediately comes to mind). Simply run it to uninstall.
3. Most applications will include detailed uninstall intructions in their ReadMe file.
The method you use depends on the program but generally a simple "drag to the trash" is all that's required.

I installed the CD and followed along with the manual and did everything it asked, at the end it told me it was finished.
So then I went to go print something and an error had occured so i went to the file menu on Microsoft Word for
Mac and clicked Print/Add Printer and then i click on the Canon MP560 series-1 as it was the only one to click on.
When I did it stated that I already has a Queue for this printer and if I'd like to add a new one so I clicked continue and nothing

I would recommend to download the driver appropriate for your system from the Canon webiste or, after installing it, to run software update and it will detect it for you.
If you have the last driver appropriate for your system, you may wish to reset the printing system. To do this, go to Sys prefs/print and fax and, upon clicking minus button, also press Option/alt key. You will be asked to confirm, do it. Then, add the printer by pressing plus button, it should work now.
But, before doing this, download the last good driver, CDs usually contain outdated drivers.

If that is your intent, finding a substitute program that will run on your Mac may not be as efficient. Others can advise you on alternatives, or you can post a new thread specifically with that question.
BTW: what Mac and what version of OS X?
If it is important to you to continue to use DVD Studio Pro, consider the option of installing Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels on your Mac:
