Cable boxes keep freezing up when surfing, have to unplug to reset, delay in response to entries cause wrong entires i.e. enterin 212 but the two does not show so you press it again and again next thing you know you have 222212 instead of 212. COMCAST does not provide an email address for its customers to file complaints because they do not want to get them...Had to try multiple account names before I found one that was not taken...

If you look around the forum, you will find a email address to send to. Also on the forum, you can post your issue and someone from Comcast will followup, you can do a online chat if you don't want to call.
Pretty much if you email, they will just call you back anyway so they can confirm your identity, since it's easy to spoof someone's identify to get into your Comcast account and make changes. Identify theft runs rampant these days using email.
The Comcast team has been notified and will followup, expect a response here by tomorrow.

My cable box keeps resetting when ever the computer is on. I get an LDR code on the box, resets, I have to press menu to get the cable back on and then the reset screen loads. It will continue to reset every 10 minutes or less until the computer is shut off. I can have other devices connected to the internet but it seems this is the only device that causes a problem. I have verizon fios. I have had a new box come to the house already and hooked it up, same problem occurs.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I have never experienced that, with as many as 4 computers and a cellphone active on my FiOS network with three STBs also all active.
I wonder if perhaps you have that computer set to acquire a static IP Address from the FiOS router with an address of 192.168.1.1xx and that conflicts with the IP address used by the STB? The FiOS STBs by default acquire IP addresses starting at 192.168.1.100 and going up from there, depending on how many STBs you have, and computers, cellphones, etc. by default get their addresses via DHCP starting at 192.168.1.1. You can log into the router and see the various devices it sees with their IP addresses, and look in your system to see what IP address it has.
Sorry, but that is the only thing I can think of.

Try clearing privacy data in browser to get a bit of ram back. if no good , do hard reset, you'll need to re-set up phone so back up first. Then type *#7370# and use passkey 12345 and phone will re-start and be like'out of the box' your memory card will not be affected.

You View Box - keeps freezing and stops loading

I have had You View for nearly a year now with no problems.
Unfortunately over the last few weeks my You View box keeps freezing and becomes unresponsive.
The Power Up button doesn't respond by remote or by touch and the only way I can get a response from it is to turn everything off at the wall and on again.
The box is regularly updated and on the latest version. I have also performed a Software reset as requested by BT but still the same problems.
Now I can't even get You View to load, just keeps saying "Nearly ready" on the screen.
I have booked an engineer to come round and assess the situation. Apparently if it is not BT's fault I will be charged over £100?
Has anyone else had these problems? Or know of any solutions? Is this a software glitch of BT's?

Do you mean the "Reset Data" option from within the BT Player?
You could try a "factory reset, keep recordings" by following this guide:

Just make sure to make a note of your future scheduled recordings as you will need to re-add them afterwards.

Probably the intermittent problem that effects some users (including me at various times). It seems that Bluetooth fails to wake properly. The 'fix' that works for me is to go to System Preferences>Energy Saver and set 'computer sleep' to 'never'.

Why? Not sure, could be lots of different reasons.
However, if you'd like to know how to fix the issue, then have you tried the troubleshooting steps listed inthe article that you linked from?
When in doubt: Restart, Reset, Restore from Backup, Restore as New.

as stated in my subject, my Zen micro keeps freezing when i try to shut it off (it stays at the "shutting down player" screen). then, no buttons work and the only thing for me to do is take the battery out and put it back in. Is this happening to anyone else? I sent it back to them last time for this and they said they "fixed" it, but they mailed it back to me with the same problem not repaired. kind of annoying. Ok so i am trying to learn how to develop for android and I was trying to download the android studio. I have the app memory clean on my bar at the top, and when i start downloading the program my memory drops from around 3-4 gb to mb and even kb and my mac freezes. When i go into activity monitor the kernal task and installer is taking up all my memeory. I have never had this problem before, and i was wondering if someon could help me.

every time my ipod dies and i try to turn it back on it freezes up.. why? also every time i try to use an app it goes in and in like 5 seconds the app closes.. i've restored it but that only helps for a few days and then goes back to doing the same.. what can i do to make that stop or should i get a new itouch? it also freezed up when i try to reset it..

If it is still acting up after a restore, you more than likely nave a hardware issue.

My nano keeps freezing up when i use hold and the clickwheel won't respond?

it's showing up on itunes and i did the menu center button trick. i put my ipod on hold and shuffle during a parade and when i went to turn it off afterward, i took it off hold and the click wheel wasn't responsive, but music was still playing. so i tried the trick and it reset (or whatever it does to) it and got back to the main menu but my click wheel still isn't responsive. this isn't the first time that it has happened but then i did some stuff i don't even know and it worked but it completely wiped out my ipod's memory so i had to redo it, and i would really rather not again. it's a 4G 3rd Gen Nano if that helps, and itunes is recognizing it. how can i fix this, and is this a common problem?

I had the same issue. After searching around online I found out that you can try downloading another app (it can be any app) onto your ipod. After it finishes downloading see if your other apps open. You don't even have to keep the new app. Just see if your other ones work and you can delete the new one. That should work. If not, try to hard reset it. My DVR box keeps freezing and I am sick of it

For the last 2 or so months my dvr box has started freezing for hours on end. More recently it is becoming more frequent and worse. Last night it froze at 9 pm and is still frozen now. But the other box I have that is not DVR works fine. What's the issue?

The software/firmware they run on the boxes is collectively called IMG. IMG 1.9 is what most of the country is on, but they are starting to roll-out 1.9.1 which includes fixes for some types of freezes. So far in VHO 1 (California and Texas)
