A mi me pasa exactamente lo mismo, lo que me mosquea un poquito es que ya he tenido que cambiar mi iphone 2 veces por este problema y el que me dieron hace un par de meses le vuelve a pasar lo mismo.
La unica forma de cargarlo es enrollando el cable alrededor del teléfono ou con un adaptador para cable del iphone 4, he ido a una tienda de confianza en donde me dejaron un cable original y nada de nada.
Ya no se que hacer, porque que en tres teléfonos me pase lo mismo ya me extraña y cuando envie el primero, inclui el cable pero me lo mandaron de vuelta.
Tendre que volver a enviarlo a reparar y a ver si en esta ocasion me cambian el cable.

sobre el cable splitter necesario para poder conectar en una B590 un microfono externo, ya que en Argentina, no he visto mucha variedad de estos cables / adaptadores, y con diferencias de precio de AR$ 50 a AR$ 325, lo que me parece un robo a mano armada por este cablecito...
En resumen: ¿Es lo mismo cualquier cable splitter de 4 vias, aunque figure que es para 2 auriculares, y no para 1 auricular y 1 mic??? Mi duda es si son de las 2 conexiones de entrada salida, o son solo salida.

Ambos serían de 4 vias en el macho. Pero lo mas importante... ¿no quemo nada si compro el mas barato???

Can you use Apple TV together with an add-on cable-type box?

We're thinking of buying Apple TV for our 75 yr. old parents for Christmas, but my father inlaw currently pays extra to view live soccer using some add-on cable-type box (sorry, no idea what to call the box). We do not live in the same city as them, so checking out their current set-up before Christmas isn't possible.
Will the two boxes conflict and could we run into issues with too few ports when we try to set it up?
I'm assuming there will only be one hdmi port on the television (but then, I don't own a TV. I could easily be wrong). Will both the Apple and the cable boxes each require their own hdmi cables going into the television?
Maybe the Apple TV will negate the need for the other box altogether. e.g., What if we bought them a major soccer league subscription for watching live soccer?
Thanks so much for any advice! If it weren't for the soccer issue, we would buy the Apple TV right away.

Thanks so much, WC! Glad to know they likely have more than one HDMI port (they just purchased the TV this past summer).
Maybe the add-on box to which I referred would be some form of router. Its purpose is so they can watch RAI here in Canada. His soccer games are on RAI (for which he needs the router-ish-thingy) and also Telelatino (which he can get through his cable TV provider). If he could no longer watch RAI, then he would simply not use the Apple TV gift, making it a dumb purchase on our parts.
So, I just need some reassurance that he will still be able to attach this router box to his TV and also attach the Apple TV, or confirmation that he will no longer need that box if he has Apple TV. I just don't know enough about that box to ask the right questions.

¿Porque cada vez que tengo que cargar Iphone 4 tengo que apagarlo para que se pueda cagar?

Tengo un problema con Iphone 4 y es que cuando lo quiero cargar desde hace una semana, tengo que apagarlo conectarlo a la fuente de alimentacion y entonces se empieza a cargar.

Hiciste lo que te sugeri? Si sigues teniendo el problema entonces, hay dos posibilidades:
El cable que usas para cargar/conectar esta defectuoso. o
El socalo donde conectas el cable al iPhone esta dañado.
Prueba con un cable diferente a ver que pasa. S no es el cable, lleva el telefono a un centro de reparaciones autorizado de Apple.

EVERY cable company offers a set top box. Like BadDog said, you'll need it to make this happen. Be prepared for disappointment if the channels are encrypted.

Problema al conectar el mac a tv philips, pantalla en rosa

Hola, tengo un macbook air de diciembre de 2012, y mi tele es una philips, al conectar con el hdmi y un adaptador para el thunderbolt; se ve perfectamente, pero al cabo de un rato la pantalla se pone de un color rosa y verde, como puedo solucionarlo?

Puede ser que se deba a un problema con la configuracion de la television, si funciona con otra television entonces debe de ser algun problema de configuracion, haz probado conectar otra maquina a esa tv?

IMac 27" mediados 2011 Thunderbolt como monitor externo de PC con Thunderbolt

En mi PC tengo placa base Megabyte Z77X-UP5 TH con dos THUNDERBOLT y no consigo que mi IMac 27" de mediados 2011 con dos Thunderbolt funcione como monitor externo usando CMD + F2

En lugar de utilizar ese adaptador, utiliza un cable Mini DisplayPort para conectar tus Macs. Conecta el cable al puerto Thunderbolt del MacBook Pro y al puerto Mini DisplayPort del iMac, y después, pulsa las teclas Command y F2 en el iMac para usarlo como monitor.
La razón por la cual el cable Thunderbolt no funcionó es porque un Mac con puerto Mini DisplayPort, como tu iMac de finales del 2009, no detecta un cable Thunderbolt porque no es compatible; sin embargo, puedes utilizar un cable Mini DisplayPort con un Mac con puerto Thunderbolt sin ningún problema

KDL-50W800C se reinicia

Mi android tv esta en un ciclo de reinicio, muestra el mensaje "android se esta actualizando optimizando aplicación ****** de 183", al momento de llegar al 183 aparece el mensaje iniciando aplicación y nuevamente se reinicia la TV, algunas veces el numero de las aplicaciones que esta optimizando se reduce pero al volver a llegar al numero total y reiniciarse vuelve a mostrar que se esta optimizando aplicación ****** de 183, ya intente restaurar y no acepta la combinación de teclas del control, he intentado instalar por usb la ultima actualización pero tampoco responde y se sigue reiniciando, tambien conecte por ethernet sin poder resolver el problema.

El proceso de actualización de su modelo KDL50W800C puede tardar aproximadamente 60 minutos o mas dependiendo de la velocidad de internet que se tenga disponible, durante este tiempo se sugiere no desconectar o manipular su televisión hasta obtener un mensaje indicando que la actualización a finalizado " debido a que puede causar problemas como el que la unidad está presentando en este momento.
Le sugerimos asegurarse que la unidad no posea acceso a la red local ya sea de manera inalámbrica o por cable, para confirmar que esto suceda desconecte su enrutador del toma corriente y manténgalo desconectado hasta finalizar el proceso que se explicara a continuación:
Asegúrese que no posea ningún dispositivo conectado a través de los puertos de USB o el puerto de Ethernet.
Mantenga presionado el botón de POWER (encendido/apagado) que se encuentra en el control remoto de su televisión por alrededor de 5 segundos para forzar su unidad a reiniciar.
Si el proceso de reinicio le permite acceder al menú principal al presionar el botón de HOME, seleccione la opción SETTINGS (Ajustes).
Seleccione STORAGE & RESET (almacenamiento & restablecer), en la opción de FACTORY DATA RESET (restablecimiento de datos a ajustes de fabrica) seleccione ERASE EVERYTHING (borrar todo).

Outputting DVI to HDMI input in LCD TV versus using the DVI to RGB ?

I am thinking of buying a mac mini to connect to a Toshiba 20HL85 TV in the lounge primarily to act as a "media server" and accessing Front Row for music, photo's, DVD watching etc. The question is which connection to use to go from the mini to the TV for Video (audio is fine as it will route into my AV Receiver)? The TV has an HDMI input, component video, s-video and a VGA port. The user manual for the TV says:
Note: The HDMI jack is not intended for connection to and should not be used with a personal computer. For PC connection, use VGA cable and connect to the VGA port. The VGA port allows the following resolutions:
Monitor Display modes:

I wanted to know a few things as I have no experience with the MAC mini and HDMI:
1. Will I not get a better/crisper/sharper picture if I connect through a digital port like HDMI versus going through the VGA port?
2. I have checked a few LCD TV's user manuals and they all seem to say the same thing i.e. "Do not connect a PC to the HDMI port" - I fail to understand this when the Apple site specifically says under "accessories for the MAC mini" that "HDMI is electrically similar to DVI, but has a different physical connector that may include an audio signal. You’ll need a DVI to HDMI adapter, such as the Belkin PureAV HDMI to DVI cable to use these televisions".
3. What am I missing? Should I just go ahead and buy the DVI to HDMI cable and MAC mini and plug it in i.e. has anyone done this and had it work? Is it better than VGA (I would hope so)?
Bottom line is does the MAC mini connect to any TV with an HDMI port or are there different types of HDMI ports and hence I need to search for the right TV first? If so, what must I look for? Thanks for any help I can get.

One word of advice. I just hooked up my mini to my 32" Lowe HD TV using a DVI to HDMI cable and it doesn't just work. The native resolution of the TV is not available for whatever reason so I have to bodge another resolution which looks terrible. When I plug my powerbook in via a DVI to VGA connector it just does work selecting the correct resolution automatically.
Either the problem lies with the mini or with connecting to the HDMI socket. As the HDMI is simply a dvi with audio I can't see why it would cause problems but who knows. Given all the other problems I am currently having with the mini I am pointing the finger in that direction currently.

How should I wire to set up Apple TV?

I just ordered a refurbished Apple TV.
Right now I have both my iMac and my HD television connected by Ethernet to my Time Capsule (which in turn is wired to the modem). The iMac and the television are in different rooms.
There's an Airport Express (a/b) in the same room as the television, through which I stream music wirelessly from the iMac to the stereo in that same room.
When I receive the Apple TV, should I leave the Ethernet cable attached to the television and just use an HDMI cable to connect the Apple TV to the television, or should I switch the Ethernet cable to the Apple TV and then use an HDMI cable from the Apple TV to the television?
I want to be able to stream media from my iMac to the television, but I also want to be able to use Airplay to stream wirelessly from my iPad 3 and my wife's 2012 MacBook Air to the television. Are there any hoops I'll have to jump through in order to be able to do both?
I hope my questions make sense. Thanks in advance.

Really? In another discussion, a level 10 contributor replied to someone asking how to stream from his iPhone to his television by saying, "You can stream wirelessly if you get an Apple TV and connect it to your TV." There was no mention at all in the discussion of a wi-fi network, leaving me with the impression that all that's needed is the ATV to stream from an iOS device. So I'm perplexed.
Now that I think of it, is it even possible to stream wirelessly from a laptop to a TV? Does a 2011 MBA have Airplay capability? I don't recall ever seeing any setting for it on my wife's MBA.

I have just went to the Apple Retail Store and purchased an HDMI adapter that plugs into the bottom of my iPhone 4. When I asked the sales person if I could watch the videos and pictures from the camera roll I have taken on a T.V. he said I could.

I have tried to watch the videos and see the pictures from my iPhone's camera roll on a televison but it is not working. It is like nothing is connected to the T.V. set. I have tried with cables that attach to the bottom of the iPone. I have used an HDMI cable and a component cables on two seperate Televisions. How is it supposed to work.
I plugged the HDMI cable into the HDMI #4 jack into the T.V. and turned on the iPHone and watched the camera roll on the iPhone bu tnothing appears on the T.V. screen. What would have to be adjusted to view the pictures from the camera roll on the T.V. screen. The same thing happend when I used "Composite to iPhone" cables to a different T.V. I even tried with and iPhone 3GS, still no display on the T.V. screen.

is valid only in Australia. You must either personally return the iPhone
to Australia for evaluation and possible replacement or sent it to someone
