Cache Contents are Obsolete after activating BPM

Hello.
I have made a BPM for a scenario, and after activating it, the SXI_CACHE shows: Cache Contents are Obsolete
the problem is solved only after I delete the Cache instance in the integration directory, and make a cache connectivity test.
The version of the PI is 7.0 SP15
What in BPM development might cause this? or is there an external cause for this (this is the first BPM being made in this server)

I tried to use a simpler BPM (one that receives an interface and immediately sends it) to see if the complexity of the BPM, or just a bug in this specific BPM was causing the problem.
However - this problem occurs with the new BPM as well...
I have open an OSS, and waiting to see what they'll suggest.

3. Check the RWB cache notifaction status for the AE and IE? these should be green in color...when you run SXI_CACHE it tries to push the data to IS from all side including the AE? but the AE should be sucessfull...
if any problem in the AR cache will not trun the SXI_Cache sucessfully......so i suggest run the CPA cache completely...make sure all the activiation is done, check the INTEGREATION_DIRECTORY_HMI (checkl the name) destination is properly entered....then try to rerun thec cache from the IR and ID and check the error if any....

Cache Content is Obsolete in PI 7.31 SP11

Hello Guys,
Recently we upgraded SP level from PI 7.31 SP06 to SP11 and found one error in (t.code SXI_CACHE--Delta Monitoring) when executed
Error: Cache Content is Obsolete
I checked the t.code SXMB_ADM_BPE and all are green. I didn't found any SAP notes so far.
Could you please provide me some suggestions on that?

I didn't seen any error description, and all integration Processes return code is '0'.
As mentioned above in my previous we upgraded service packs from PI 7.31 SP06 to SP11, was that the reason ? ( mean this Delta cache refresh is obsolete by SP11?)
(or) any other different reason, because looks my all three systems shown the same issue.

i would not want to bet on nokia ever releasing a patch or update in the software to allow this function on this particular phone.
if you look at nokia phones over the years, they have added functionality like this across a wide range all at once, take for example timed profiles on symbian phones. these have only just been phased in.
i do not think it is a development cop out, more along the lines that nokia is a huge company and as such would have a huge effor in market research. if they didnt pick this out through their market researc, why spend the money adding it?
the comment on annoyance is entirely personal to me, as it is important to you - you may want to consider moving to a symbian (series 60) based handset as these give you a lot of expansion for this sort of need.

Inconsistent cache even though SXI_CACHE says cache contents are uptodate

The status of SXI_CACHE says contents are up-to-date, but the cache is still inconsistent. For example, I cant see the sender agreement, sender communication channels, but I am able to see the reciever agreement, etc. All the configuration objects are activated.
I have tried full and delta cache refresh. Also tried running the report SAI_CACHE_REFRESH as sugested in an other thread.
Process Integration (PI) & SOA Middleware
I got a succesful result when I testing my configuration in the ID. But the log still shows that sender agreement is not found:

Hi ,
Check in the Objects tab of the Configuration. And if it exists, then try to add the sender agreement to the your configuration scenario. Then actiavte everything.
Deleting the Sender Agreement,activate it and then try to recreate it..

Backups are obsolete after KEEP UNTIL time is reached in 11.2

Hi,
Customer discovered significant change in behavior of KEEP UNTIL clause relating to retention policy in 11.2.
In 10.2 a backup marked with KEEP UNTIL clause was NOT marked as OBSOLETE, when it was required for RETENTION policy, even if the UNTIL time was reached.
In 11.2 this is no longer the case. It's obsolete right after UNTIL time is reached.
Checked the [11.2 documentation|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/backup.112/e10643/rcmsubcl011.htm#i97063] and found:
Specifies the time until which the backup or copy must be kept. After this time the backup is obsolete, regardless of the backup retention policy settings.
In [10.2 documentation|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/backup.102/b14194/rcmsynta035.htm#i97063] it reads:
The KEEP UNTIL clause never causes RMAN to consider a backup obsolete, if it is still required to satisfy the retention policy.
KEEP UNTIL can cause backups to be kept longer than the retention policy would otherwise require, but never causes a backup to become obsolete sooner than the retention policy requires.
Customer doesn't understand this change in behavior and wants have explanation.

I'm doing some work on a cube based on some bad dimensioning in it's original design. We're running BI 3.50 - The original cube is INV_C01 - here is the table contents based upon SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS report -

Note that INV_C01_C2 now only has 1,755 rows, whereas the source cube has 17,617 rows. Why is this? I did a straight copy and the F table has approximately 50k less rows and this table is approx 10 percent of the source.
Any explaination would be appreciated.   Ken

Was data ever deleted from the first cube? Either using selective deletion, or possilbly just the deletion of a Request. Those dim IDs wouldn't be recreated in the cube copy. There is an RSRV test that checks for unused Dim IDs and can delete them if you want.
If you use the option to load packets in parallel, it can lead to multiple Dim IDs being created for the same characteristic combination. There is an RSRV check for duplicate Dim IDs, which can eliminate the duplicate Dim IDs if you tell it to.
One other thin got keep in mind - SAP INFOCUBE_DESIGNS is using data from DB stats to provide the row counts, so if your DB stats for the dim table are not current, you could be seeing row counts that are old.

Import Of Content Areas Muddles up Content

We are in the process of exporting our portal applications,components, content areas and pages from our development server to the live environment.
We are using the contexp.cmd for export and contimp.cmd for the import of the content areas but after it has been imported the contents areas are all jumbled up. We have ran the process several times and used 2 different live servers but each time the content areas come across and the majority of contents are jumbled. Each time we have ran the same process we get different results.
Has any one experienced this or has any idea how to prevent it from happening.

What happens is the folders will have the correct names and some of the items within the folders will be correct but randomly items from separate folders will appear. There seems to be no pattern and we have tried the import \ export several times each time with an incorrect but different result.
This has now been raised as a Tar.

SHARED Content Area

I have an installation of Oracle 8.1.7 and 9iAS under Windows NT.
I installed a second pc (same configuration) and i decided to export/import all the contents of my first pc to the second pc (sso,security,pages,content areas, etc).
Unfortunatelly I did not know how to move the objects i created in the Shared Content Area, so i decided to export and import the whole "Shared" content area.
After I imported , I tried to edit/view the contents of the Shared Content area and I could not even open it, Portal gives me an error. I think what I did was wrong because later I read that when you export/import a Content Area it will automatically move any objects related to the Shared Content Area(is this correct?)
Pressume the Shared Content Area now is corrupted.
Is there any way I can fix it?
Do I have to "Deinstall" Login Server+Portal Schema using the Oracle Portal Configuration Assistant and then Reinstall them ?
I will appreciate any help.

The export/ import of shared content should not cause the corruption you mentioned. Depending on which import mode (specified by the -m switch in contimp.csh or contimp.cmd) you used "New" or "Reuse" the (shared) objects would either have been created new (you will find two or more of the objects!) or they will have been reused.

No display of iview content after cache properties are set

Hello,
In an effort to improve the portal performance we activated the Iview Load Parameters(Cache level, validity, client side caching etc) and after that we are not seeing any content of the iview in the portal.
Cache level - Shared
Cache validity - 24 hrs
client side caching - yes.
All the views are pointing to KM folders.
If we change the Cache level to none then iview content is visible.
I have flushed the cache but it didnt work either.
Do we have to set any other parameters to support caching Portal KM configuration or Visual adminstrator.
Let me know how to display the content after the caching parameters are set for iview so as to improve the performance.

Activating Caching on KM (Navigation, for example) "works", but makes no sense. I don't know on what SP level you are, but I just checked it on SP18:
Take a Nav iView which points to - for example - /documents/xmlform. With your settings, if User A opens the iView and navigates to the subfolder "preview", and then UserB opens the iView, UserB immediately sees /documents/xmlform/preview, instead of the upper folder.
So, on one hand it "works", on the other, in many cases you might have unexpected results on KM iViews.

Did you define the Exception Handler properly and also used the same in the Exception Branch? If you do a check in IR for your BPM (F7) do you get any error/ warning messages?

Sequence presets are missing after "Creative Cloud" activation of CS6

I recently downloaded a trial version of CS6 (I had CS4). While in the trial period PrPro CS6 had a plethora of options to choose from in the "sequence presets" including several XDCAM HD options which I needed as I shoot my video in that format.
Everything worked okay with my imported video. I imported several clips into sequences setup as XDCAM HD 1920x1080/23.97P with no problems. All was good for a couple of days until I bought a "Creative Cloud" account. After activation, many choices in the sequence setup window are mysteriously missing. I download all of the updates in an attempt to fix; that didn't help.
Now I can't import any of my XDCAM HD videos or open any of the several projects I created while running the trial of CS6.
The picture below shows the sequence presets that I have available now. Help.
