¿Sabe alguien como borrar el cache del Iphone 4? Al entrar en ajustes>safari no encuentro la opcion de borrar cache ( sí encuentro la opción borrar historial y cookies)

Try opening your links in a new page( press and hold on any link for that option). Then your original page will not change and you can go back by switching to or closing the other pages.
The icon for switching is in the lower right of the Safari browser.

ITunes Match clear cache iPhone???

I would like to be able to manually clear the cache of my iPhone, from songs that I've listend to from iTunes Match, but were not downloaded to my iPhone. These songs remain in my iPhones cache and are using up valuable space. Is there a way (or workaround) to do that? I've been told that IOS does this itself in a ingenious way. But it's not that ingenious that it knows that my cache should be empty enough to make it possible to take new photo's or HD movies! As a matter of fact, I've never noticed that IOS has cleared my cache at all...

Disable iTM, open the Music app and let the content clear out, then re-enable the service. That will clear the cache. Or go to Settings > General > Usage, tap Music (you may need to scroll down) then swipe across "all music" and tap delete. Either method will work.

Why is the cache on Safari so weak?

Is it just me or is the cache iPhone's safari not useful. I mean, is there cache at all? Its hard to tell because the only thing you can do with it is clear it. Where are the other settings for it? I don't see why I have to continually reload pages when I hit the back button or return to another "tab". I have all this flash memory sitting empty that Safari could be using to hold these web pages so I don't have to sit and wait 30 to 60 seconds every time I switch pages.
I see the cache switch under Safari's settings, but i don't see a way to set the max size of the cache. I'm thinking there must be a way to set a user specific size for the cache. Seems like an integral part of any browser. Is there a way to up the size of cache. I'll gladly sacrifice 500MB to 1GB of memory to cache cause it would greatly improve my web experience? I spend an awful lot of time browsing on my phone.

You could try using iCab Mobile to browse instead, which I think does a better job with this.

Why are my photo album names in iPhone wrong?

If I sync my iPhone 5 with iTunes (MAC) all the album names in iPhone are not the same as in iTunes.For example, I have an album name "SAVOGNIN" but the photos in there are from "MENORCA" not from SAVOGNIN.

Why are my photo events scattered in iPhoto?

I just got am iPad 2. When I did my synch to move from my iPad, I noticed all of my events broke apart so I now I have several of the same events with different pictures in them. Any idea what is going on?

I am having a hard time with a page that is working for everyone else. When I click on anything in the site I get a message that says "The page you were looking for doesn't exist." This is happening on both my ipad 2 and my iphone 5. I cleared my cache

Your first statement explains the second statement. To use the German iTunes Store, you need to prove that you're a resident of Germany (that is required by the content owners who will not allow cross-border sales) and the only way Apple can provide such a verification is by requiring that you enter in either a German credit card or a German-purchased iTunes prepaid card. Since I presume the former is not a possibility, you'll need to do the latter if you wish to purchase content from the iTunes Store. Again, this is not Apple's choice but is forced on them by the content owners as a requirement for Apple being allowed to sell the content. The EU is working on regulations that would force the content owners to allow access pan-EU, but that's still in the works.
You do not need an iTunes Store account to activate and run your iPad, though; at least, I didn't need one for either of my two iPads. If you only want to set up an account so you can get free iPad apps, take a look here:

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is apparently critical. This seems to come and go, or only apply to App Stores in specific countries, so you may not see the option for "None" when asked for a payment type.

i thought the photo stream only holds 1000 i usuaaly take each month and save them to iphoto but if thats the my ipad should say the same amount and it doesnt - it shows 2.5 gig which is correct for iphoto. and i havent ever had that much but if for some reason icloud has that much saved how do i delete and again if it does why doesnt ipad show that amount _ HELP!

This is driving me mad! The London Store Apple Genius can only suggest either deleting my email account and then recreating it or totally reseting the iPhone to the original factory settings and then resynching it to my MacBook Pro to get everything back into the iPhone. However, he's not sure that this cache is not stored on the MacBook Pro during synching somewhere so I may well end up where I started! Allan Sampson answered my last "Help" topic, so I'm hoping he can beat the Apple Store Genius again!

This used to be me and the painful solution ( for PC users ) is:
Buy a Mac!
Everything "talks" to each other and it all interfaces fine with the business world.
Once you've adjusted to the ( much better ) Mac "culture" it all becomes clear and the
backup service and advice is second to none. Not only that, everything works!

It will erase EVERYTHING. You then setup as a new device & sync your content back to your phone. Either that, or you live with it. The data will eventually be overwritten as you use your phone.

First try Restore from backup.
If this does not clear 'Other': Backup, Restore in iTunes and setup as new. Sync back personal data using iTunes tabs.

Is it possible to salvage cached videos from iPhone?

I have videos that I've downloaded (cached) from YouTube to my phone using a downloader app on my iPhone 5. Since I upgraded to the 5s, I've tried finding all the videos again using the same app but some of them have since been deleted from YouTube, and the only copies I have are cached in the app on my 5. I have first searched everywhere on the internet with no luck, then tried to find a way to get them off my phone and save them somehow. And after searching for a few days the only solution I can come up with is to set up a camera and record the screen of the 5. I will do that if I have to, but I want to see if there is any other way before I go that route. Plus the only decent camera I have is on the 5s and I was going to use that but the audio wouldn't come out too good. If anyone out there can help me at all I greatly appreciate it. I want to get this done as soon as possible so I can restore the phone and sell it. Thanks!

Itunes match - iphone cache

Hi.
I have a 3GS 8Gb with iOS6. I enjoy using itunes match and letting the memory get filled with cached music for when on the go.
I noticed recently however that I couldn't take a photo as the storage was full. I can download apps and assume the music cache is automatically reduced to allow this to happen.
Is there any way I can manage the music cache manually, instead of turning off match to clear the cache?

I have the same problem now with my iPhone 4 with 16GB. I have a large music collection, and when turning on iTunes Match, I eventually would run out of storage on the device because I had over 8GB of music stored on the device prior to iTunes match. Apparently, the match won't delete tracks you have stored on the device prior to turning on Match, so using the steps outlined by randers4 works, but you have to keep in mind you will only start storing music that you have played recently.

Caching Content on iPhone

My iPhone application downloads content from the web. I want to cache some of this content so that it doesn't have to hit the web everytime.
How do I do that? Where would I store the files? I have read that there is the documents folder, how do I get to that? Is that the right place to store the files? Or is there a temporary folder?
Is there some code sample I can use?

Try searching for NSSearchPathForDirectoriesInDomains in your documentation viewer and read the associated guides.
You can also use something like "~/Library/Application Support/Xxx" as your directory and use tilde expansion to get the actual file path. Create this the first time and then use as you wish.

At this point, for months I have been contacting app developers and Apple requesting the ability to clear an app's cache. I have only 1 app that I use that supports this feature - WallpapersHD.
All apps should support cache clearing. Especially apps that bloat like: Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Instant Video, TUAW, iMore, Twitter, TWC Max, Weather [Yahoo], Trailers [Apple], Bible [YouVersion]... Practically any and every app I have ever used that communicates with a remote server out there in the world somewhere.
iOS needs a cache clearing option to assist in managing space because deleting and re-installing apps is a terrible way to get that space back.
