Cache needs to be cleared constantly.

Yesterday, I bought a new Samsung Series 5 with Windows 8. I installed Mozilla Firefox 21.0, but started having a problem with it. Every 30 minutes or about 20 webpages, I have to clear the cache for a page to display properly, otherwise they will display with text to the left of the screen and with Times New Roman font.
- I have Avast! 8, but I do not think it is causing the problem.
- I am 100% it is not a virus/malware.
- I checked my plug-ins in Mozilla. None of them seem to be causing the problem.
- It is a Mozilla Firefox only problem. (I am not having this problem in Chrome).
- CTRL + F5 solves the problem, but I do not want to have to click that every single webpage I go to.
- I have tried the Mozilla Firefox Reset. It did not fix the problem.

Apparently the "Samsung Support Center" software alters Firefox's cache in some strange way messing up page displays. Example thread:

* Uninstall Support Center from Windows 8 (or find some way to disable it)

Need of downpayment clearing (F-54)

Dear Experts
Why do we need to the clearing of downpayment through (F-54)?
In our scenario -
1. We create the 100% downpayment request F-47 (spl GL - A)
2. F110 makes the payment ( vendor spl GL A debit and bank a/c credit)
3. Goods receipt is done
4. Then Downpayment clearing is done (f-54) - transferred to normal GL
5. Invoice verfication (MIRO)
6. F-44 - clearing of normal GL lines of point 4 & 5
So if we avoid the step 4 ie. downpayment clearing (F-54), and directly do the clearing of transaction through F-44 of points 2 ( spl GL debit) with point 5 ( normal gl credit), will it make any differences?
I've checked the accounting & found that the system generates a document with Vendor Spl GL Credit & Vendor Normal GL Debit thus clearing the vendor lines of point 2 & 5 respectively.
Is it ok to go ahead like this? Besdies accouning, can I be affected on reporting issues?

There should be one change in your defined scenario step 4 would be coming after step 5 -Invoice receipt and not after step 3-goods receipt. Down payment clearing in F-54 clears down payment against the invoice of vendor. It is the standard transaction for manual clearing of down payments with features to enter directly the invoice number and select the open down payments for a particular vendor.
There are not much differences with F-44 except some minor ones lik that standard document type KA is used in F-54 insead of general clearing document AB in F-44.
So although F-44 would also achieve the same purpose as F-54 I dont see much value in using it instead of F-54 which is the standard transaction for clearing downpayments against a particular invoice of particular vendor. It should not have impact on any standard reports.
Also it is possible to clear downpayments with payment program against the invoice, check the below documentation for details.

LR 5 "encountered error reading preview cache need to quit.

LR main menu screen appears, but message pops up "encountered error reading preview cache need to quit. Restarted several times but no change. Message indicates it will attempt to resolve next time it starts, issue still remains

In your Lightroom folder, which is by default installed in the My Pictures folder (Mac: Pictures) you will see a file with an extension of .lrdata. This is the previews file. Remove it.
Restart Lightroom. The previews will then be rebuilt.

To delete the preview cache, do this:
1. Quit Lightroom.
2. In your Operating System, locate your Lightroom catalog. Typically catalogs are in /Pictures/Lightroom on Mac and My Pictures\Lightroom on Windows.
3. Find the folder whose name ends with "Previews.lrdata" and delete it. (note, you may also have a folder whose name ends with "Smart Previews.lrdata." You shouldn't need to delete that one.)

My Mac is getting slower and slower, I need to restart it constantly.

I mostly use it just to browser the internet, watch movies and listen to music, but recently I have notice that I have to restart it at least once a day to keep the software working nicely with out any lags. Any tips or suggestions? I don't think I need any hardware update.

ARP cache needs clearing constantly

I help manage a WISP network which has a Cisco 3750 at its core and a couple of Cisco 7200 routers to two separate ISPs. We have configured public and private VLANs. The infrastructure is based on point to multipoint links with cisco SG300 switches at each main location. I have a problem where devices are not contactable until the ARP cache on the router is cleared or they are pinged from a device on the local LAN. It seems that as soon as the switch times out the address from the CAM tables, it will not respond until the ARP cache is cleared. A simple example is this.
router 10.201.1.1 --- Core switch --- switch 10.201.2.254 --- AP 10.201.2.55 --- CP 10.201.2.37 --- Customer x.x.102.37
All devices remain active up to the AP. The CP and customer will drop off the network randomly. I would expect the traffic to refresh the CAM table as per normal. The ARP cache on the router shows the exact same information before and after clearing so there is no spoofing or eroneous info there. This is not an isolated case, it is exactly the same across all of the other devices in the setup.
This has only become apparant since moving the devices to being managed in VLAN 201. prior to that, the client had everything (over 3000) devices in VLAN 1 with public IPs along side Private. Obviously a problem.
Anyone seen this sort of problem and able to offer any tips, ideas or suggestions? I am all out of ideas.

Just to add to this. I have read a lot of information about HSRP and having to synce CAM and ARP tables. I am not using HSRP and in this case, the second 7200 router is connected to a different ISP and operates completely separately.
In light of the information on HSRP. I have reduced the ARP timer for the two VLANs to 240 seconds, which being less than the CAM timer of 300 seconds means that the CAM table always remains up to date. I see this as a work around because it will obviously lead to a large amount of ARP traffic but it does seem to fix this problem. I am not sure why when the CAM table loses the MAC address, fresh traffic doesn't reach the switch and trigger the update of the CAM table. It seems like the traffic is not being sent to the right place.

Two Clear System Cache Needed in Two Days since 602 Update

I found out why my battery is worse with the 602 update. Appararently my phone is NEVER GOING TO SLEEP. I forget the name of the service that was keeping it awake. I think it was com.motorola.service.main. After the clear cache, it was good for a day. I took a couple of phone calls and exchanged some text messages and noticed again that my phone was warm. Sure enough, it was stuck again (100% AWAKE even when screen was off for long periods). I cleared the cache again and it has been fine overnight.
I really hope we do get another update because this one is not working too well on my phone (which had few issues with the prior 596 update).

You need to look at what you have installed.....if you have done a factory reset, leave all your apps off for a day and see if the phone itself is draining the battery. I just did a factory reset this past weekend (8/27) and before that, my battery use was attrocious, but after the reset it's not using up the battery as much. Before the factory reset, I had AFK (task killer) installed and I really think it was draining my battery, along with WeatherBug. I don't have those installed after the reset and I see a remarkable difference. Before it, I was having to charge my battery at work by the time it was noon (it sits on the charger at night so it has 100% when I leave for work), but since the reset, I have not had to hook it up to the charger at work. My battery mode is set to performance mode and that doesn't seem to make a difference, even though alot here would say it is gonna drain it the most.
You just have to play with it and see what works and what may be causing it, if that means taking off apps completely and putting them back on one by one to find any differences.

Why do i need to always clear cache and cookies before an application downloads?

I just upgraded to 3.6.8 and i'm using windows xp. I noticed that the mozilla became slower and everytime i tried to open websites or applications, it won't download until i clear the cookies and cache, but still it's really slow. Is there any other other I can do?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. 
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions. 
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") 
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" 
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

Need to refreshing/clear browser cache after every updating of my site???

Is it some feature in Muse that could force browser to check if site was updated? Always after updating site, visitors who were on site before, getting blanding pictures of old&new site.
Its not pleasantly to always ask clients to press F5

What version of Muse are you using?
How are you doing updates? Are you updating one or more images but the names of the images are the same?
Where's the site hosted? Does the hosting have unusual caching defaults?
What's the URL for the site?

LR4 error when reading from its preview cache, needs to quit

I'm getting the above message. Lightroom says it will attempt to fix this problem the next time it launches,
requiring me to click OK and the program closes. When I relaunch it, I see the same message.
I'm on a PC w/ Win7; I updated LR4 with the 4.1 download recently to enable it to read the 5DMarkIII raw files.

Not sure what cache you are talking about. LR only refers to two 'caches' -
the acr cache which stores part-rendered images to speed up rendering in
Develop, and a video cache which does something when you use videos. The
catalog and previews are stored in another folder, along with a previews.db
and a rootpixels. db which store info on the previews.
If you are having trouble as you describe, you need to delete the previews
folder (including the two .db files) just leaving the catalog. Then you need
to clear the acr cache (under Edit/preferences/File handling/camera raw
cache). Then regenerate all your previews in LR (select your main parent
folder, and tell it to build all previews). If you have a lot of images,
best to do this overnight.
Then all the various caches, databases, previews, and catalog should now be
in sync again, and you shouldn't see that error.
Not sure what textextractor is but if it interferes with LR, I'd get rid of
it.

I am a Flash developer. When I change a Flash file (SWF) and try to test it, Firefox displays the previous version even though I have cleared the cache. Clearing the cache obviously doesn't clear everything. Why?

I developed a Flash file (SWF) with a light blue start button, placed it on a web server then went to the URL using Firefox (3.6.8). Later I updated the SWF (changed the button to dark blue), replaced the SWF on the web server, opened Firefox and used Tools/Clear Recent History... to clear the cache. Then when I went to the URL to test the replaced SWF it clearly opened the previous version (light blue button). How can that happen if the previous version no longer exists on the web server? Firefox can only be opening the file from its cache, so why is the file still there if I just cleared the cache?

I had the identical issue with iPhone config Utility on windows 7 64bit.
A virtual macOS on the same machine didn't have a problem, windows iTunes didnt have a problem. Just a glitch with ICU on windows
I tried everything you did and the only thing that fixed it was to change the appID or app name (I forget which I did).
I don't know where that old app data is stored on the machine, but I deleted all apps, uninstalled/reinstalled ICU and it still would populate and install the old ipa.
I also still periodically get weird errors/glitches deploying to iOS on windows.
It's like some days I need to deploy with ICU, sometimes iTunes, sometimes I need to run the VM mac... SOO frustrating.
It always works one way or another, so the app itself is always fine.
I guess I really need to look into that new direct deployment option...

Where does cache go when you clear it?

I have cleared my cache (as directed on the Adobe support page) in hopes of opening a project that won't open. That was unsuccessful and I need to get to the cache file. Does anyone know how to retrieve this file? I don't see it in my recycle bin but it must be somewhere on my harddrive.

When I click the FireFox icon, nothing happens. It looks like it is starting to load but then doesn't. It appears the internet cache is not getting cleared. How do I clear this to get FireFox to execute?

When the above happens, I try to run CCleaner and it tells me I need to close FireFox before it will clean the files, but it is not running? It just shows internet cache file is there at 0kb.

More likely an extension and "AVG Safe Search" is a distinct possibility, but only if you are using AVG antivirus application from Grisoft.com

User wants to have the Purchase Order commitments cleared.
The issue is related to open commitments for project Purchase Order. The user needs to have the commitments cleared so she can put a final close to the charge code.
We tried option to tick the Final Inv indicator in Purchase Order Delivery Tab, for which SAP system is giving an error u201CValuation area needs to be assigned to plantu201D. We also identified that Table related to Plant Valuation Area is not showing any value related to Plant.
Can any one suggest and solution. This Company code is in inactive mode?
