CAD with UCCX and DN assigned to multiple phones

We are running CAD 6.6 with UCCX 7.0. Our agents do not connect through the back of the phone. Their CAD is runnin separately. Most of our agents have no problem controlling their desk phones from the CAD. However, a few users have multiple devices assigned to their end user. I have thus far been unable to determine how CAD determines which line instance (or phone) to control when making and receiving calls.
Example: Can anyone tell me how CAD determines which phone to take off hook when a user makes a call from CAD?
Example: Some users have a phone and a device profile. When they use CAD to make a call it takes their phone off-hook. If they then login to another phone using extension mobility CAD will take that phone off hook when making a new call, but not the original desk phone where the line permanently exists. Can anyone explain this behavior?

Duplicate lines are tricky with any CTI app.
If you read the release notes for UCCX, you will see that shared lines and duplicated line appearances are unsupported configurations. The IPCC extension property of the user account is what determines which line is controlled, and this isn't device specific.

If your users need to be mobile, give them a single EM profile.
If they don't want EM, give them a static phone.

Are you using the same AppleID for all those phones? If so, get them all their own AppleID.

I have a prepaid plan with verizion and want to switch my phone to an I Phone. Can that be done

My husband bought an Apple I Phone from his Co worker. He reset the phone and now it says there is no Sim Card, which I knew. So it can only make emergency calls. We are on a pre paid service with Verizion and I want to be able to use my I Phone. I can not get the ESN/MEID from the Iphone to give to Verizion. Am I simply at a loss here or is there anything I can do? Please help if you can!

Custom Auth. Object with Profile and role assignment not working

I have created custom Authorization Object with field ACTVT with allowed values - 01,02, 03. Now test it with custom program using AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'Z_AUTHORIZ' it is working fine and returning sy-subrc 12. At this point i have not created any role using this Auth Object.
Now I have created custom role ZPM_**** and assigned above Auth object to it with value ACTVT 03. Assigned this role to user.
When I try to test the above custom program with any ACTVT value it is giving sy-subrc as 0. Used below custom code in program.
AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'Z_AUTHORIZ'
ID 'ACTVT' FIELD '01'.
Am I missing anything? The profiles are generated correctly.

Problem with Collaboration and Portal accessed via multiple URLs

Here is the scenario. We have the portal installed that can be accessed from an external domain: portal.company.com. We recently upgraded to WCI 10gR3 and in the process we added an internal server that uses an OAM webgate which handles Integrated Windows Authentication. The URL for out internal access is portal.company.int. The problem comes when we try to access collaboration folders. From our internal URL when we click on a folder in Collab Documents the loading... text come sup and that's it. No other activity in the browser or in PTSpy. If we use the external URL there is no issue.
Anyone have any ideas on how we can get around this or what the cause could be?

try to play with the collaboration server url (for the Collaboration Remote Server )

Enter the external url here, or better the name of the machine, something like
http://<machinename><yourdomain>:11930/collab/
See if works.

Help with Query and report assignment

Hi,
I am able to attach 2 transactions (e.g. MM03 and ME23) to my SAP Query through report assignment. My question is how do I skip the selection screen that asks me if I want to Display Material or Display PO?
What i want to happen is in my report, if I click on the material - MM03 is called and if I click on the PO, ME23 is called.
Is this even possible through queries?

I did as suggested and added the following at the start of my code.
AT LINE-SELECTION.
GET CURSOR FIELD FILD_NAME VALUE F_VALUE.
I set a breakpoint in AT LINE-SELECTION and when I executed my query, it wasn't passing through it.
When I removed the line AT LINE-SELECTION, it passes through GET CURSOR FIELD, but FILD_NAME is not populated. It's blank.
Below is my code at the moment:
data: fild_name(30), F_VALUE(50).
*AT LINE-SELECTION.
GET CURSOR FIELD FILD_NAME VALUE F_VALUE.

You can see which devices are using find my phone at iCloud.com > Find my phone. If your MacBook isn't shown there, you should be able to add it at system preferences > iCloud, by turning find my phone on.

What is required to create an app with Flash and get it on a phone to test?

I'm curious what is required to get an app on to a phone for testing. Do you need a a devleoper licenese for testing on your own phone?

well there is another way -> jailbreak you device. Find and download a certificate for flash (p12 or alike), generate IPA and upload via itunes... not the best way but in case you want to test something and have no idea if it even would work in Ios, say PV3D I would go that way. Otherwise it is pretty simple and without much requirements - go for a developer registration.
Also since you are in eductation try to contact apple may be you would get a free registration.

Barge is not working with UCCX 7.1

Dear EXPERTS,
We have CCM 7.1.5 with UCCX 7.1, on CSD the barge is not working, whenever supervisor iniate the barge, his phone start ringing and customer put on hold, he can have conversation with agent only when he is answering his phone.
I believe whenever supervisor iniate the barge/press the barge button, his phone should automatically answer the call and he can have conference with agent and customer.
The agent phone is 7961 and supervisor phone is 9951.
Kindly advise on it.

I need to list all the users in our system with a combination of roles assigned to them.
Example:
User1 = Role1 + Role2 + Role8
User2 = Role1+ Role3 + Role8
User3 = Role1 + Role4 + Role8
I want to extract a listing of users with Role1 and Role8 assigned to them.

I think a download of table AGR_USERS will provide you with the desired information or at least with enough info to filter on in Excel..

UCCX and CUIC

I have a customer using UCCX v9 with inbuilt CUIC for historical reporting however they are hitting a limit of only 8000 rows being returned on queries.
Is there any way around this limitation by using the CUIC? (Not through external SQL queries as mentioned in another thread)
Is it possible to use CUIC premium on a seperate box with UCCX, and would this resolve the issue?

The only workaround I've seen is to run filtered copies of the report.
E.g. if you are running it for a day, and getting >8000, run it for 3 or 1 hour periods and export them. You can then stitch then together in Excel or whatever you are processing it in.
Or perhaps you can filter the output in another way - e.g. export particular applications/numbers rather than all calls on the system.
If you are doing a lot of processing manually with this data you might want to look at producing a custom report that does that processing/summarisation on the server and then presents a more final output which isn't raw data. The 8000 limit is typically only a problem when outputting raw data..

Multiple Phone numbers for Multiple addresses

We have a requirement to build a solution for the following :
Every Business partner may have multiple addresses, and each address may have multiple phone numbers !!
We already have a qualified lookup table to house the multiple addresses but we are stuck at accomdating multiple phone number to each of the addresses !!
Any smart ideas !!?

I got your point .But I guess you are talking about a lookUp Qualified inside a lookup Qualified table which I believe is not possible.But u can nest a lookup Flat table inside a qualified Table.
To your problem I have a different solution.
Let suppose Master record is as shown below:
Id | Name | Home_Add | Business_ADD | Landline | Mobile.
1 | abc | 123 | - | 078821 | 93709.
1 | abc | - | 345 | 080145 | 98932.
Here customer 'abc' have Multiple address like Home address and Business address.And each address has multiple phone numbers like Landline and Mobile.
In this case if you design repository as;
Main Table: ID,Name,Addres_Type
where Address_Type is a LookUp Quaified Field (multivalued)
Qualified Table:Address Type(Non-Qualifier),Landline(Qualifier)and Mobile(Qualifier),Address(Qualifier).
Address Type is a Flat LookUp Table with values Home address and Business Address.
After You Import in Data Manger your record will look like:
Id | Name | Address Type
1 | abc |Home Address;Business Address.
and when you see in Record detail pane for Address Type
you will find values like
Address Type: Home Address.
Landline : 078821
Mobile : 93709.
Address :123
Address Type: Business Address.
Landline : 080145
Mobile : 98932
Address :345

I quit the installation, uninstalled iTunes and rebooted my computer. I now receive a similar message with a slight difference:

I did not leave anything out from the error message. It doesn't point to a specific file, it just ends with "(x86)..." Every time I boot up my computer, this error message pops up on my desktop.
How do I repair this issue? I have found multiple suggested solutions but am unsure which one is the best, and I don't want to try a bunch of different things for fear I may make the problem worse. I would like to try and fix this myself if possible but I need to know if that is really possible or if I need to take my computer to someone for repairs. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!
