CAF check-in to NWDI error

Hi,
When i was trying to check-in the creation of CAF DC to the NWDI in CE 7.1 EHP1, i got the following error message:
FAILED: No prefix found for development component "xx/cas/xx/es/dictionary". Appropriate development component prefix should be configured in SLD (Restart IDE after reconfiguring SLD).;No prefix found for development component "xx/cas/xx/es/ejbmodule". Appropriate development component prefix should be configured in SLD (Restart IDE after reconfiguring SLD).;No prefix found for development component "xx/cas/xx/es/ear". Appropriate development component prefix should be configured in SLD (Restart IDE after reconfiguring SLD).;No prefix found for development component "xx/cas/xx/es/permissions". Appropriate development component prefix should be configured in SLD (Restart IDE after reconfiguring SLD).;No prefix found for development component "xx/cas/xx/es/metadata". Hi,
To avoid naming conflicts, SLD provides a name reservation service, also known as a name server, which allows you to reserve names that are globally unique. The underlying principle is the namespace concept.
A namespace is defined by a name prefix, which is the leading part of a development object name.
You can reserve a namespace prefix for your development on SAP Service Marketplace. This namespace prefix spans a unique namespace for each SAP customer. To use this reserved namespace prefix in a local NWDI system, you have to enter the prefix in the name server of the SLD. You can then use this namespace prefix in the SLD as a prefix for names that are reserved.
If you define new development objects within NWDI, the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio provides you with all the namespaces that have already been defined for the relevant object name category. You can then choose an appropriate name prefix and complete the naming of your objects. Subsequently, the NWDI reserves this name for you on the name server.
And the problem you said, is because of absence of prefix.
You can define this in SLD.

Record Number 2995 is shown in the figures attached.
I have already carried out the deletion and automatic repair mentioned in RSCV061 even before posting this question but of no use ( I have shown that also in the figures attached at the posting time.
Reporting is fine. The problem is while loading the data to the cube. The loading is fine till date 30.04.2014 but from the date 01.05.2014. The record is error while updating.
The cube is partitioned from month 01.2008 to 12.2015.

To resolve it, follow these steps:-
When the installation throws this error, click on OK and allow it to proceed. It will fail for Database Engine, but the SQL Server service should have
been created. Check the Services console.
If the service is present, perform the following steps:-
1. Go to SQL Server Configuration manager, right click on the SQL Server service, and change the service account (if it is local system, give
it a windows level account, and vice-versa). It might throw a WMI error but you will see the account getting updated anyway. If not, then use the Services console. Change the account for SQL Agent as well.

2. Next, try to start the service. It should come online.
3. However, you will not be able to log in to the SQL Server
4. Now stop the service and start it from the command prompt using -m -c -T3608 parameters.
5. Now try logging in to the server using admin connection from sqlcmd (sqlcmd admin:<server name>\<instance name> ...)
6. Once logged in, use the sp_addsrvrolemember '<domain\username>','sysadmin'.
Also add the builtin/administrators to the sysadmin role
7. Now stop the service from the command prompt and start it from SQL Server configuration manager
You should be able to log in to the server now.

Yes. You can't update or restore any GSM iPhone without a valid sim card installed in the phone. The sim card need not be activated, but it must be valid & present. If you want to update, you need to get a sim card.

Remove and check cartridge on right error message on 7410 all in one

I recently changed the black ink cartridge in my 7410 all in one printer. After changing cartridge it gave me an error message of " Remove and check cartridge on right". I have tried removing and reinstalling , cleaning connection points with clean damp cloth (water) and still cannot get error message to go away.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

These are feature rich MFP’s with an abundant supply of ink available at generously economical prices. On the face of it, it sounds like a good reason to keep a bevy of last gen printers around. EXCEPT the printers work great with the $30-$50 brand new HP brand 96 cartridges from Office Depot or Staples. Unfortunately if you try and buy some recycled cartridges off ebay the Printers detect the recycled\refilled cartridges as a previously depleted HP cartridge that may not be genuine and the units suddenly turn on you. Miraculously the "Remove and check cartridge on right" only manifests itself with non-HP brand cartridges or cartridges that have been refilled. (We have even tried to re-fill out own refreshly depleted cartridges with like results.) Think of it as an HP service reminder conveying you forgot to pay HP their $30-$50 profit on your ink this go round. Remember you need HP Branded ink cartridges (HP = Homogeneously Proprietary). It’s like an intention flaw written into the firmware. Best guess (purely on conjecture) is there is a check in the firmware/drivers for if the cartridges has been previously installed, previously depleted, max install count, and expiration date validation. If it encounters a condition it doesn’t like you get this nondescript error.

The above post is filled with conjecture and speculation, but is not based on fact. The Officejet7410 is not programmed to reject refilled/reman cartridges. It will check cartridges electrically for various things and will reject cartridges that fail. Typical failures would include a cracked printhead (caused by rough treatment - dropping the cartridge even a few inches for example), or open electrical connections caused by debris on the cartridge contacts. Cleaning the cartridge contacts as shown in the document here may resolve the issue in case of poor electrical contacts.
A cartridge that has been previously used in a different printer will likely be marked as empty, but the printer will happily print with a cartridge detected as empty.
The reality is that the quality of refill and reman cartridges are very variable, but generally poor. The study here has a study conducted by a testing facility, here is another study.
My personal experience has been similar. I donated an HP all-in-one to my son's high school years ago. Sometime later I got a call from the teacher complaining that it was not printing properly. I went and took a look and found they had put in a renam color cartridge that was not printing one of the colors*. They tried another cartridge, which also had a problem and then finally the third cartridge worked. I asked why they used renam cartridges and he said they bought these because they were cheaper. I asked if they were 1/3 the cost....
*The color missing had nothing to do with the printer - blotting the bad cartridge on a damp tissue gave only two of the three colors that would normally be present.

If you check your sql server error log folder you will see dump files created. You need to send those dump files to Microsoft for inspection because outside of microsoft product support the symbols for reading the dumps are not available without which it
wont be easy to find the issue.

In the meantime check if you are on the latest version of Service Pack and if not apply the latest service pack. Majority of these kind of assertions are bugs which are solved in Service Packs/Cumulative Updates.

Windows Update failed to check for updates with error 0x800B0001

Hi all,
I have a WSUS installed on a Windows Server 2008 R2 box, I have a new Windows Server 2012 box (joined to domain) that cannot get updates from the WSUS, whenever I try to search for new updates I receive the following error in event viewer:
Windows Update failed to check for updates with error 0x800B0001
Note: I cannot see the Win2K12 server in the WSUS console under computers node.

I couldn't get it to run even after installing the mentioned KB fixes. So I investigated the error myself, and found a "hack" that seems to fix the issue. Wrote up a small piece on it here:

You and about a thousand other people have reported "I had already installed [the update], but installing it AGAIN fixed the problem.", which is almost assuredly a simple indication that the original installation of the update failed, and you simply did
not recognize that the installation of the update was not successful.
The fact that the /selfupdate folder was corrupted (read: missing files) pretty much says it all. There's no bug. Your installation of the update simply failed. (Or, the server wasn't healthy to begin with and you got what you got.)
Bottom line: The only known cause for a client-side 0x800B0001 error code is that the WSUS server has not been
properly and completely patched.

HT4623 Trying to update IPad to iOS 6. . . but get error message "Unable to check for update - An error occurred while checking for a software update

I am trying to update my IPad 2 to the new iOS 6. . .but when I check ofr updates, I get an error message "Unable to check for update - An error occurred while chekcing for a sofware update" .
I have powered off and tried again . . .but it still cannot . My Wifi is fine - and the IPad is plugged in.
Are other people having these issues.
I tried to log onto Apple support and got an DNS error message. . .

It is all in your WIFI.
I have 2 internal Wifi networks at home. In one (family) the software update works immediately, in the other one (guess) it gives me the same error "Unable to Check for Udpate" ... The guess network I did set up carries some restrictions being the reason why the update does not work.

ESS Pay check "Show Overview" Service erroring out

Hi All,
ESS Pay check service is giving error, When executed it displayes pdf form, with buttons to go to next and previous pay stubs. But when I click on show overview, it is giving an error. The same webdynpro code works fine on Sandbox, but not in dev and quality portals. Is there any configuration required in ECC for this? Please suggest any other you might think of causing this issue,

This error occurred casue of BADI we implemented.., accoding to one SAP note, you just cant implement a method of a BADI, we need to implement every method of it and activate altogether. This made the trick..,

after I installed ver 10 of Itunes,

Now I can not get to my downloads at all

If you have 64bit Vista or Windows 7, look for the seperate download of iTunes for that further down the page.
Once installed, use the Apple Software Update under your Start Menu to fully update all Apple components.
Your content will remain on the drive in the Music > iTunes Folder, nothing is deleted.
You should be making backups of your content regularly, either through iTunes or via copying the iTunesFolder in your Music folder to a external drive.
Windows is notorious for having "other" issues that make it unstable, we as volunteers helping others can't always resolve those issues.

hi ia m getting this error during the upgrade .i did checked in sm12 for any failed updates but there arent any .so i think there should be a table that i need to alter.should this be done in se16 ? and i think the table name is TRAN.LBWG any ideas.

1. Call transaction SMQ1 and check whether all queues in all clients (client = '', queue name 'MCEX') have been processed. To process the queues, start the collective run report for each application in the displayed clients. If you no longer need the data in the BW system, deactivate the relevant extraction queues and DataSource in the LO cockpit (transaction LBWE) and delete the queue entries in transaction SMQ1.
2. If you use the V3 update that is not serialized (usually only for application 03): Start collective run report RMBWV303. Then check the update orders in transaction SM13. If there are incorrect update orders in transaction SM13, correct the orders and then start the collective run report again. If you no longer require the update orders, you can delete them. There may be inconsistencies between tables VBMOD and VBHDR. For further information about this, see Notes 652310 and 67014.
3. Before the upgrade, delete the contents of the setup tables. Execute report RMCEX_SETUP_ENTRIES to find out which setup tables still contain entries. You can use transaction LBWG to delete the contents of the setup tables for all clients.
Unfortunately the check that the system carries out during the upgrade or when you import a Support Package does not display all affected applications. Therefore, Note 1083709 provides a check report that you can use to determine all affected applications and tables or queues.
