Calculate size of any shape

Show the size of any two dimensional shape in the unit that's currently chosen (mm2, cm2, inches2, pixel...)

Or since vsize requires data to exist run an analyze or dbms_stats and then see the dba_tables.avg_row_len column value.
This is the average row length for the existing data including the row overhead.

Fade for size jitter in shape dynamics doesn't work

I have CS6.
I used to be able to fade out brushes under the Size Jitter in Shape Dynamics but can't now. I open up CS3 and I can do it in there. Any idea why it isn't working in CS6?

Minimum Diameter is at 0, it has been before when fade worked.
Here is a screen shot.
I have Fade at 50%, yet it hasn't changed. I moved the slider for Mininum Diameter and nothing changed.

I recently downloaded a 10.6.8 update and a game program has now been reduced in size. It's specifications are set for full screen, but it is about 1/4 of the size. Any ideas how to fix?

This is a user to user forum and Adobe Staff does drop by.
First thing to try is Reset the Type Tool by right-clicking on its' icon in the Options bar.
If you still have problems, it could be related to fonts. Here is a step by step troubleshooting help doc for that.

In Illustrator, group the objects that you want to punch through, and use the transparency pallet.

How can I make my flash Webpage displayed same size on any screen resolution of my computer? Whether it is 1024 X 768 or 1280 X 960 screen resolution, the size of Webpage (Flash Webpage) should always be same so that user don't need to use horizantal scroll bar to view all the content.
And secondly, how can I scroll my webpage vertical on moving with my mouse like in the following link: The below link also shows that it's webpage size is always same on any screen resolution.

With OS X10.9 the Mail window (after hitting reply or forward) grows ridiculously long, sometimes 4 times the width of the screen and would not allow me to readjust the window size. Any one has the same problem? How shall I go about fixing it? (Thanks)

I'm having the same problem. I've tried going into the Library and deleting the mail plist file(s), which fixes the problem, but only temporarily. Would appreciate any help here too!

Hold down the 'ctrl' key and scroll backwards on the mouse.
Then go to System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing. Turn off the Zoom feature.
Similarly in Sys Pref > Mouse uncheck the box for 'Zoom using scroll wheel…'
If it still occurs after that there may be a corrupt .plist file.

Failed to calculate size of Filter in %CHARSET% charset

What does the error "Failed to calculate size of Filter in %CHARSET% charset" actually mean?
We get the error if we want to update a filter to a user account, specifically when that particular user is a member of several (native) groups.

I saw this error after just installing Planning 9.3.1. After some discussion with Oracle support the conclusion was we need to apply Planning patch, 9.3.1.1.1. After applying the patch planning now will refresh security with out the message.
You may have to work through Oracle support to be able to download the patch.

Calculate size of table with BLOB column

Hello,
when trying to calculate the occupied space for a table, I'm using DBA_SEGMENTS, which works fine as long as the table does not have a BLOB column.
As far as I can tell, the size of the BLOB data is stored with the SEGMENT_TYPE = 'LOBSEGMENT', but I cannot find a view that tells me which DBA_SEGMENT row belongs to the BLOB column in the table I'm checking.
To give you an example:
select sum(BYTES)
from DBA_SEGMENTS
where owner = user
and segment_name = 'MY_TABLE'
group by SEGMENT_NAMEreturns 262144
running:
SELECT sum(length(blob_column))
FROM my_tablereturns 821333
There are entries in DBA_SEGMENTS for my user with the type LOBSEGMENT, but I cannot find a way to map the correct DBA_SEGMENTS row to the table I am checking.
Any ideas?
I'm using Oracle 10.2.0.3.0 on Redhat
